I just know Grizel cares so much about Fitz.

She's known this boy since he was 14 (?) and she's watching him grow up.

She's hung around him for years, day and night.

She's eavesdropped on his conversations, and she was there for all of the aftermath of Alvar's betrayal.

She watched his world fall out from beneath his feet first hand. She heard the whispers that followed him everywhere he went. She watched his shoulders fall.

She probably watched him bake treats for his friends. She probably watched him cry and grieve. She probably dragged him out of his bed and showed him how to work out to get out of his head. She probably reminds him to eat, and to get some vitamin D. She probably listens to him pace his bedroom well into the night. She probably listens to him talk to Mr. Snuggles when he's really overwhelmed and just needs a friend who won't judge him.

She'd die for this little sad, short-tempered baby who has done nothing wrong ever in his entire life. And her heart aches for him. For the way he can be surrounded by people, but still be so lonely.

She probably knows him better than most people just off of observation alone.

general question for anyone whod care to answer: was there a moment that supernatural really clicked for you? for me i was enjoying it as a casual viewer for the first season but by the end of Heart it clicked and i went from enjoyment to obsessed

#i think heart was it because it was this huge defining moment of. like you will have to kill sam. this is what hes going to become. and when #sam gives dean this teary look before going to the next room to kill madison and deans single tear nd flinching at the sound of the gunshot #its sam being so small and afraid and so young and dean little brother and both dean and sam coming to this point where they both understan #this is what has to be done. you kill monsters. you cant let them live. youll have to kill him too. #its like. this HUGE defining moment. where they both rly reckon with sam being a monster and his death at deans hands. #yet i feel like its not rly talked abt in the fandom. i guess thats bc there r like 10 other moments like that in season 2 #because supernatural likes to harp on about things then do nothing about them lol

noticed a small parallel during the best christmas ever that idk if ppl have pointed out but minutes apart, we're shown revs patting orel on the head after humoring his comment vs clay almost smacking his head after he made a comment. its just interesting seeing the casual more aggressive form of "affection" clay gives him vs another adult in his life he trusts

not to over-indulge in my own tags and this extremely hyperspecific au but walk with me for a minute. it's this scene from the series finale of LOST except make it rick and michonne. and instead of it being them reuniting in the afterlife it's them reuniting after the poof! no apocalypse timeline reset and they're getting flashbacks of the original zombie apocalypse timeline. do you see my vision.

#richonne #the IDEA is they both wake up and the apocalypse did not happen (like rick wakes up from his coma but the world did not end) #but they both feel panicked because something is not right. there is a sense of loss and grief they cannot explain #they look at carl and andre respectively and burst into tears and are hyper vigilant around them and don't know why #their partners go to touch them and they flinch and they DON'T KNOW WHY #meanwhile little things give them deja vu that they don't understand #and then because Invisible String of Fate they somehow cross paths and lock eyes and it's The Fence multiplied by like a million #and then idk if the flashbacks come all at once or a little over time but either way they Recognize each other #and it torpedoes both of their lives #idk what happens after that but DO YOU SEE THE VISION #oh and there are RULES such as #the stronger your connection with someone the more easily you ~remember them when you meet again #and also the longer you lived through the original timeline the stronger your memories are #so for example since richonne would obviously had been alive at the time of the reset #they'd have crystal clear vision of their memories once they regained them #but people who died quickly would have either a vague memory or no memory of the original timeline #this is so you could have the DELICIOUS dichotomy of rick and michonne remembering EVERYTHING while lori and mike remember basically nothin #AGAIN DO YOU SEE MY VISION

i think it's comforting to know that no matter how good chrollo is at games like go or chess, he sucks at video games. he can never get the knack of it. he can checkmate you in six moves but struggles to beat the first level of a mario game. he starts sighing whenever you grab your controller because he knows he can't be apart of whatever you choose to do next.

Minho, who is strong and confident, but not emotionally, someone who shies away from more delicate moments, squirms when it gets emotional, will do something nice for someone else but will not make eye contact as he does so

Newt, who is strong and confident, especially emotionally, someone who will grin as they accept help, someone who will willingly die to help someone else, someone who will hug someone in public and not show a hint of shame after, someone who will cry and not care if they're seen

Minho falling head over heels for that sense of safety, for that confidence, for that unabashed vulnerability. Meanwhile Newt is utterly clueless

while Minho is doing things that are the pinnacle of romance to his "affection is awkward" mind, Newt is just like "hey Minho left me a snack! he's been really nice lately :D"

#remember that Kung Fu Panda 2 scene? where Tigress hugs Po and says ''I can't watch my best friend die'' #and she's like. the strongest character out there. super aloof and stoic and powerful and brash #she's strong physically. and it's in that scene where you realize she's strong emotionally too #she's vulnerable and open in front of 7 people. and she just casually walks away afterwards. no shame or embarrassment #the whole movie is Po suppressing his trauma and refusing to acknowledge or feel it #and then there is Tigress. someone who he's kinda jealous of (remember their Fists Of Steel moment on the boat?) #someone who is powerful and strong and everything Po wants to be. AND someone who is willing to feel. #to be afraid. to care. to love. #anyway I was thinking about that while I wrote this #I probably don't have to spell it out but Newt is Tigress and Minho is Po #they are both very strong characters but only one of them is strong emotionally #and while I do like Tigress and Po's dynamic #the fact that Minho and Newt are BOTH confident (albeit Minho a little arrogant) makes the dynamic SO MUCH more fun #there is Po who is insecure and afraid and then there is Minho who is confident and afraid #someone who will kill without blinking but will flinch at a hug #just. within the context of byler fights, i see a lot of people say that mike is short-tempered and like while that may be true i feel like will is even quicker to just... snap. like, he gets very emotional very quick. in their fights, mike's voice stays pretty constant and even, but will's quickly starts getting watery, loud, pointed, cracking, etc. he speaks from his chest. his tone goes up and down. he uses his hands a lot. his eyes are wild and wide and boring into mike, challenging him almost. he pokes at mike. still, mike doesn't escalate; he matches will's hurt with his own, but he doesn't outwardly burn quite as hot. not with him. i just.. idk. i think it's interesting. will's anger is often overlooked or outright ignored in fandom, but it's very clearly there.
