Some headcanons and notes...

Zelda and Impa go to cafes together and have a great tiem. They are both clean drinkers and rarely ever spill anything.

Groose and Pipit go to cafes together and invariably, Groose somehow gets a milk mustache and spills his drink on his homework every time.

Meiren is a real kind of oolong where bugs are part of the leaf processing method!

Mipha is a sipper, Biggoron is a chugger

Everyone after Link in this list is stretching the boundaries of What Is Officially A Beverage but. When in Hyrule, do as the hyrulians do?

This joke doesn't work in tumblr format as well, but on twitter, I put Tingle on tweet 6 out of 9 because haha nice. ALSO KOMBUCHA LIPS ON MY DICCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKK ... GOTTEM

Link's Healing Breakfast

With the final battle with Ganon behind him, Link can now attend to something more important... 

At last, I can SHARE!! This is an illustration that I painted for the "Homemade in Hyrule" illustrated recipe zine. (@homemadehyrule)  I was given the freedom to choose what food to paint into my image, so I chose to depict one of my favorite homemade chicken soup recipes, alongside a favorite snack of mine: apples with brie and honey. (The decision to include apples was also partly because of a suggestion by another zine artist, who reminded me that LTTP Link in the manga owns an apple orchard!) Painting this reminded me of just how much I love rendering food colours and textures.  I really wanted to show a post-game version of Link too, as that's something I've been wanting to do for a loooong time. There's just something satisfying to me about a fully-equipped Link choosing to return to his quiet life after the journey is done. <3

hello, here is the zine anon again

since you said it’s alright to send you stuff about zines I’m going into a bit more detail about the zines I previously mentioned in case anyone is interested. Unfortunately the preorders for the cookbook zine are already closed but it’s still possible to order the zine as a pdf till they start shipping and it’s likely that there’s going to be a leftover sale too, so if anyone’s interested in recipes from various zelda games you can find the zine on twitter @homemadehyrule

as for the horror zine (also features games all along the timeline) preorders are still open for about a week (till the 15th) and they have a blog here (@bloodmoonzine) in case someone wants to check out some previews of the pieces to see if it’s up their alley. There is also a share goal you can help to unlock by liking and reblogging their pinned post if you want, but no pressure of course. im also going to see if I can find some other fandom stuff that’s currently running, so it’s possible that I pop up in your askbox again in some time if that’s alright with you. 302 Days since Tears of the Kingdom Released. Thank you so much for the information. And now I will share it with all of you. Anon also informed me that each zine has picked a charity to support, homemade in hyrule will support Action Against Hunger while bloodmoonzine is donating to Medical Aid for Palestinians. Zines are a great way to support for you fellow fans and also get some cool stuff for yourself.

Preorders are officially open for Homemade in Hyrule, Vol. 2 - the wonderful Legend of Zelda cookbook zine that I'm part of! Three bundles are available at the Homemade in Hyrule shop (alongside very limited selections of Vol. 1), and they'll be available through February 29.

Trust me, you don't want to miss out! All the work that went into this project is absolutely wonderful, from art to writing to recipes and more~

I got to draw these as the back & front covers of @ homemadehyrule vol 1! All the recipes featured on the back can be learned within the zine~ (I also got to tuck my tea towel design into the cover too >:D)
