I’ve been getting really into old zelda games recently, but for some reason i’m very, very dedicated to only playing as wolf link. So naturally I made sprite edits of 30 year old games I’ve never played before. And then I made my own artwork of the sprites based on the artwork in the manuals of each game. Which is how normal people play video games, I think? Here’s some sketches

New Scans: The Light and Dark World Maps from A Link to the Past

The Legend of Zelda Triforce of the Gods World Guidebook, 1992 | ゼルダの伝説, 神々のトライフォース, ワールドガイドブック| ISBN4-8033-3874-4, Published by Taishubo Co.

I 2400dpi scanned and repaired this really awesome set of maps from an old Japanese strategy guide. While someone had posted low quality scans of the whole guide on archive.org at one point; I can no longer find them so I bumped scanning it up on my to-do list. The maps themselves have never been repaired or placed in an online gallery before either so this is probably the first time most people are seeing them.

I love Ganondorf’s new design

Not only for the aesthetics, but what it means for the timeline.

ya got some wind waker with the cloak

You’ve got some Demise/Skyward/Ocarina in there with the bare arms

And then bam you’ve got the embodiment of all my nightmares from Twilight Princess right there on the face

A face that I, frankly, can’t wait to stab again.

It’s just such a unique way of respect all of the theorists while leaving fans the ability to run free. I can even see some link to the past references.

Who needs to buy some silly little flippers when I can just build this thing? Once again, I've made some Link to the Past sprites, this time for both the Zonai Fan and Steering Stick. Just like with the Guardian Stalker, I used renders of the official models for reference. If I had the time, I would have finished all 150+ rotation sprites for the stick! Maybe one day I will.
