     if you had asked him, he would have replied that each last gig the band had played was his favorite, simply because he really just couldn’t pick half of the time. it had become second nature to answer with a cop out because in truth he couldn’t remember most of them. but this one... oh, this one. this one was going to stick with him, he could definitely tell. the victoria secret fashion show had been one of the more elusive gigs the band had been intent on booking, and it was also one that would have taken the most gumption to make happen, namely because to play at the show, you had to get a chart-topper. be in the top 40 of all main stream music. and for a band like their’s, that was no small feat. but they had done it, and god, victory was sweet.      it tasted like whiskey, hot on his lips, fresh in his glass, on a running rotation. this was the best after party he’d ever attended, namely because it wasn’t in some shady bar or in the back of their tour bus. it was in some ritzy club, and the place was swarming with models. no - angels. montana set his sights on the blonde he’d found his gaze glued to all night, gripping his glass tight, another sip warm on his lips as he approached the woman. “i bet you’re god’s favorite...” he started, smirking lightly once he’d gained her attention. “you’re certainly mine.”

At first, Troy didn’t even recognize the other girl. From a distance, she looked familiar, but he couldn’t put his finger on why until he was really close enough to get a good look at her. it had really started to seem like practice was never going to end, day in and day out, but it was what bastian had needed to put his mind to if he’d planned on playing in the major leagues. already, he’d had scouts after him and it wasn’t the time to start slacking. when the final whistle had blown he was jogging off the baseball field, easily scooping up his bag before jogging towards the parking lot. once he’d finally gotten there he had nearly collided with another person. ❝ shit, my bad. ❞ he spoke, taking a step back. ❝ are you okay? ❞ the male asked before he was finally getting a good look at the person he had nearly trampled. ❝ do i know you? ❞ dumb question, of course he did - even if high school had been done and over with, hers was a face that he’d never forget.

the twins had been a little trickier for aspen today. it was nothing she couldn’t handle, though it had just left her more tired than normal. the couple had invited her to stay for dinner, which she wasn’t going to turn down knowing how good anthony’s cooking was. plus it was nice to be with them together. there was just something about seeing the two of them together that always got her lost in her own thoughts. 

life was slightly different. instead of having an affair, the three of them were together. both ant and stella would kiss her whenever they saw fit. there was no more hiding behind close door. life was better that way. between the soft moments they shared as a couple such as holding hands, cuddling at night, having that shoulder to lean on to the physical moments of just all finally being together. all sunshine and butterflies. no more secrets, just happiness. 

aspen are you with us? pulled her back in from her daydream. “sorry, just kinda tired.” the day had seemed to drag on and with the end nearing she was glad to be going back to her crappy little studio. “can you repeat that?” asking with a sheepish smile, hoping that she didn’t come off as rude. nodding her head as the question was asked again. “this friday? uh...yeah i had a date but i can cancel it. wasn’t truly my type anyways.” letting out a small nervous laughter. “i’ll take care of it and you guys go have fun at your event!”
