smth i thought of while i was high off no sleep, last week - this is kinda wishful thinking, or my wannabe writer speaking - was that what if there isnt really a traitor, but someone is unknowingly givin away their location with their quirk or smth. someone described denki as a walking gps so i feel like he'd be easy to track? ive been sitting here for 30 minutes trying to figure out how to describe what im thinking but im not doin too well. prolly wont happen like that, but i cant stop thinkin.

Ya anon I’ve been having the same thought! Also, me and a mutual are talking now about how it could be much bigger than what we expect.

For example, the narrative has kinda promised us a traitor of some sort. It keeps being mentioned in conversations that Horikoshi thinks are important for the reader to see, and I don’t think that would lead to nothing. However, Horikoshi is really good at delivering plot points in unexpected ways.

I can see a few possibilities playing out here:

The “big reveal” is that there is no traitor. It’s that someone, like Kaminari due to his quirk, is inadvertently giving out information to villains. This makes the ‘traitor’ a victim, and they feel guilt.

The “big reveal” is that there are multiple traitors -- I’m not talking 2 or 3 people. I’m talking about some sort of systematic situation where AFO has been planting those who sympathize with him to some degree in UA and in the lives of all the students and teachers. These plants could know what they are doing and be malevolent, or they could be acting without thinking, like they’ve been brainwashed or something (I’m not talking about shinsou here though ahaha)

In both of these situations, we have a traitor. But the big reveal isn’t WHO the traitor is. It’s more like WHAT the traitor is, and how that system functions. I’m sure there are other examples or ways how this reveal could go, but those are some ideas that me and a friend have been throwing around!
