“Y/N?” Zenitsu's worried voice broke through your muffled sobs, your eyes widened as you realising your cries had been way too loud. You tried your best to calm down and keep up your cheery facade like you always did.

“Y/N?” Zenitsu repeated himself, banging lightly on the door separating you two. There was no way that you couldn't hear the concern and worry in his voice. There was no way of getting out of this one, your puffy eyes would give it away.

“Coming just give me a second!” You tried to push your voice over a whisper, wincing at yourself, you're voice cracked. By now he must have known that you were crying. Your heart sunk right then, ‘why should I burden him with my problems?’

As you slowly started to stumble towards the door, you felt like throwing up, you knew that today you would have to tell him. Opening the door, you averted your gaze to the floor, hoping that he wouldn't be able to notice your face.

“Hey.” You didn't dare to speak any louder, you knew that your own voice would betray you.

silence

You were met with silence, all you could hear was your heavy breathing, but you knew that he was there. He was there in front of you. He heard you.

“Y/N, ” Zenitsu said softly, reaching out to your hand “take it from me, I know when people are crying.” Letting him take into his own, feeling like if you tried to push him away you would burst into tears again. “Can...i come in.” It wasn't a question, he was coming in, it was simply a statement. You stood there frozen as he started to walk into your room, dragging you in behind him.

“Babe-” The warmth of his hand disappeared, it seemed like he held it for ages. You finally raised your head, instantly you two locked eyes. Shame washed over you, ‘why should he have to deal with me at my worst?’ He flashed comforting smile your way, a sense of security washed over you, he patted the space next to him on your bed. He was silently inviting you to sit with him, and tell him everything.

“Zenitsu-”

“Y/N, come and talk, please.”

‘I’ve have managed to keep up this confident, cheery, loveable image, so why was it now that you were gonna open up?’

“Even if it's just something very minor, you can tell me anything.”

As you stood there, tears started to paint your cheeks, trying to regain your composure. It was this boy who managed to tear down your walls, the mask that you put on - he was able to see right through it.

You always tried to be this cheery, confident person that anyone could rely on. Even though you were surrounded by Tanjiro and the gang, family, everyone, you could not help but feel lonely. This wasn't you, you weren't like this, everyone loved this other person that's personality inhabited your body. Never-ever have you opened up to someone about this, but he would still love you. Right?

He noticed your crying form, it broke his heart that he hadn't noticed the stress that something was putting on you. Zenitsu bolted from the bed and embraced you. Resting his chin on your body, rubbing small circles on your trembling body as he let you cry on him.

“Th-This isn't me!” you managed to choke out “This isn't my personality, I don't act like this alone.” Zenitsu stayed in that position, not saying a word. “I’ve been trying to be an unrealistic version of myself, I can't be myself. I've noticed how everyone else is so happy, at times I feel genuine happiness when I'm with the ones I love, but as soon as I'm alone I realise that that's not me! Me being a cheery, loveable girl that's friendly to everyone, is. not. me.” by the time that you finished, you were out of breath, noticing how pathetic you sounded. “You must think that I'm a lost cause-“

“I don’t.” He said firmly as he let you go, trying to get a clear look at your face. Even with your tear stained, contorted face, he still found you gorgeous. “I can’t relate to what you’re going through, but remember that I love you.” Zenitsu on the inside was panicking, he felt like crying but that wouldn't help you at all. He knew that whatever he was about to say was going to leave a lasting effect on you, so he chose his words carefully.

You swore that you fell in love with him even more right then and there, heat rose to your cheeks but it wasn't like that alone was going to change your thoughts.

“I know that I'm the worst, that's why I pretend like I'm the best.”

Zenitsu’s eyes widened, in his eyes - wether it was a mask or not - he thought that you were perfect, he knew that this wasn't something that would change overnight. Right then and there he made it one of his primary goals to help you and make you feel loved. He swiftly grabbed your hand, his calloused palms hit yours, squeezing it gently. You were still trembling, trying your hardest to take deep breaths.

“Y/N, just so you know that I will help you through this! I don’t want you to go through this alone! I know that this won’t be something that we can quickly change but I know if we start now, one day you'll be comfortable with yourself!”

A/N : I don't have depression, and I've had a mental breakdown before but I dealt with it alone so I didn't really know how to incorporate another person. I am so sorry if I've misrepresented something in here!

MCU timeline, if they actually cared about the characters as much as we do:

Phase 1 (setting up the universe)

- Iron Man - Incredible Hulk (+ Bruce’s DID is included and well represented, Hulk is not shown as a monster which cannot control himself so much he hurts everybody around including Betty, in fact he is shown to avoid hurting anybody who isn’t actively shooting at him, Dr Samson and Rick Jones are a must for this origin story, post credit can stay the same) - Hawkeye (includes: his childhood with an abusive father, his brother Bradley, his past in the circus so basically his origin story, his deafness, him being conscripted by SHIELD, and post credit scene with him choosing not to kill Natasha) - Black Widow (includes: her childhood in the Red Room, the fall of USSR and change in Russian politics, KGB being dissolved, Natasha’s breaking of her programming, her leaving the Red Room thanks to meeting Hawkeye, the assassination of Dreykov’s daughter, What Happened in Bucharest, Natasha joining SHIELD, and post credit scene with her taking place of the PA which was supposed to apply to Stark Industries) - Iron Man 2 (+ more info about Howard’s abuse of Tony, Natasha is there, but it’s not her first appearance, and also she isn’t shown as if she knew she was in a movie) - Thor - Captain America: The First Avenger (I think that his stupid behavior in CW is completely set up by his origin story, so I wouldn’t change anything if we wanna have that conflict with him being more concerned about Bucky than literally anything else going on) - Captain Marvel (because her existence makes Fury think about Avengers and explains why Fury wanted to create them in the first place, also action happens mostly on Earth) - Avengers (+ Jane Foster and Darcy are part of the science team and greatly contribute to the plot as scientists, because I am fed up with women being sidelined)

And because Avengers has a post credit with Thanos we should get some movies in space now related to Thanos first, before Iron Man 3.

Phase 2 (we learn about the ultimate badguy)

- Guardians of the Galaxy - Thor: The Dark World (but hopefully better written, + no damselling of Jane) - War Machine (Rhodey’s only movie, Tony is busy doing whatever) - Hawkeye 2 (how Clint dealt with everything which happened during Avengers, how SHIELD agents treated him, introducing his family?, maybe bringing back Barney and showing his relationship with Mockingbird and stuff like those) - Iron Man 3 (without the ableist meta message that all disabled people just wait to become murder machines, but still introducing Extremis) - Black Widow 2 (could be the same story as we got in 2021, introducing Yelena Belova) - Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch (includes: their childhood, how their parents died (Yugoslavia being bombed by NATO, but I doubt Hollywood would ever wanna say it out loud), them growing in orphanage, possibly attending university (universities for citizens in Serbia are free and because Sokovia is based on Serbia, and it is a slavic country we can assume they have that system as well, and there are also social support programs available from both the government and possibly the university as well), the difficulties of a life in which they have to cover their costs of living themselves, because they have no parents, American army stationing in Sokovia, twins getting radicalized, protesting against foreign influences in their country and joining Hydra, experimentation, if they were trained by Hydra to use their powers or not and how were they trained, Sokovia being shown to be normal country instead of breaking apart state which Americans see each time they think about it) - Falcon (Sam’s origin story, his mission in Afghanistan and stuff - I don’t know his origin story, so I dunno what to say here) - Captain America: The Winter Soldier - TV show about the consequences of the movie above. Possibly something akin to Agents of Shield. What happened to the agents, how world reacted to Natasha’s “fuck you”. - Ant-Man (introducing Hank Pym) - Avengers: Age of Ultron (Ultron is Hank Pym’s like in the comics, but in some versions of this Tony helped or provided tech so he still wpuld feel quilty afterwards, + no dying Pietro)

Phase 3 (everything gets complicated, but they prevail)

- Incredible Hulk 2 (what happened to Bruce and Hulk and how they dealt with the idea that Steve literally had his well-being in his ass by inviting Wanda and Pietro to the team, what is going on with Thaddeus Ross and Betty Ross, we meet Jennifer Walters) - Black Panther (different one than the one we got, introduces T'Challa and his family) - Spider-Man: Homecoming (could be earlier, just after Avengers, but *shrugs* this story is written in such a way it is better after Iron Man 3 and Age of Ultron) - Captain Marvel 2 (basically setting up why she didn’t participate in Civil War, my idea was to depower her, but not take her powers away, so she could have some more down to earth stories instead of stories set in space, maybe even explore her alcoholism that way) - Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch 2 (deradicalisation, becoming heroes) - Captain America: Civil War (Accords are better explained, Matt Murdock or Jennifer Walters show up to do exactly that, RAFT is explained as American prison not related to the UN, Steve this time has valid concerns about the Accords, but he still goes ape shit over Bucky, still lies to Tony about his family, because those traits were all set in his origin movie) - The Wasp (Hope’s origin story) - Hawkeye 3 or Hawkeye TV series - Black Widow 3 (something something about Ross hunting her, but Red Room was already taken down, so different story is here instead) - Ant-Man 2 (Wasp is here too, but this is Scott’s movie, previous Ant-Man and The Wasp) - Black Panther 2 (about Kilmonger and T'Challa’s scuffle for the throne) - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (didn’t know where to put it, because it is mostly unrelated to any other movies with this story about Ego, but it develops Nebula more, so let’s be here) - Doctor Strange - Thor: Ragnarok (I am not opposed to Planet Hulk, but I am more inclined to not put Bruce into a movie which is supposed to be about Thor and Loki so… more time for Brunhilde) - The Winter Soldier (solo Winter Soldier movie) - Avengers Infinity War/Endgame (it makes no sense to make two movies if we can have one, the snap was used as a plot device more than actual defeat of the Avengers, so it can last less than 5 years and also no time travel which then you have to explain why TVA didn’t put everybody in jail for that, Tony doesn’t die and Carol and some other powerful people (LIKE HULK, Hulk is NOT less powerful than Thanos or fearful or something) take down Thanos instead and Tony finally retires and is left alone by everybody goddammit)

Phase 4 (new era, some heroes retire, others take their place, while different ones just get the grip of whom they truly were all along, and also we get a new ultimate bad guy and possibly set a stage for his defeat) <- this one not really well set up, because we don’t know most of the movies and TV shows which appear in this phase so dunno how to set them.

- Spider-Man: Far From Home - Photon (origin story of Monica Rambeau) - War Machine 2 - WandaVision (or Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch 3, adjusted, so it would not repeat some facts and would only remind about the most important stuff. Also, Pietro lives in this timeline so no Bohner guy lol, he is just insufferable brother-in-law to Vision, and weird uncle to kids) - The Falcon and The Winter Soldier (but with Steve who didn’t go back in time, because there was no going back in time in this timeline, he just finally is learning what accountability is and has to forfeit his shield, because it’s time to retire) - Falcon 2 - Winter Soldier 2 - The Wasp 2 - Loki TV series (Loki survives Thanos and is taken by the TVA, it basically doesn’t force the story to make him quickly develop feelings in the first episode and bypasses that issue, + more Loki Variants, all genderluid and presenting in various ways in the show) - Incredible Hulk 3 (Bruce and Hulk finally start communicating and Hulk becomes gradually smarter, and we meet Bruce’s another alter Grey Hulk and the circus with getting along starts all over again, because Grey Hulk hates Green Hulk xD, is setting up She-Hulk) - Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings - What If…? TV show - Ms Marvel TV show - Eternals (feels like should be in different phase) - Spider-Man: No Way Home - Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness - Thor: Love and Thunder (about Mighty Thor - Jane) - Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (about Shuri?) - The Marvels (Captain Marvel 3 basically) - Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quntamania (setting mutiple Kaangs I suppose) - Moonknight TV show - She-Hulk TV show - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 - Blade (feels like should be in different phase) - Fantastic Four - Avengers (in which they fight Kaang?)

I was going with the idea that every superhero should get at least 3 movies ONLY about them. As of now, I managed to put 3 only for a few, and some were swapped for TV shows instead to fill the place and better show the character and what they’re up to, because TV shows have more hours than movies.

I know there are supposed to be TV shows for Armor Wars, Iron Heart and Secret Wars, but I dunno when, so no idea where to put them.

How would the boys react to walking home only to find their SO cooked an ungodly amount of food because they do that when they are stressed?

I recommend you watch salt,fat,acid,heat on netflix becasue honestly i do the same thing after watching a bunch of cooking shows or contests. She's really smart and its only four or five episodes! ((Also this is the second stressed ask today, are yall ok))

Leonardo:

•When he gets down to the lair it smells heavenly like somebody cooked breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert all at the same time

•So you can honestly imagine his confusion when he sees you in the kitchen beating some eggs so fast they should be scrambled

•Leo thought maybe you were just an aggressive cooker till he turned to the dining table and literally saw all four meals of the day on the table

•When he looks back your shoulders are hunched and you looked on the verge of crying and he rushes over to you

•"oh hana, what's wrong? Why- why are you cooking?" He sounds more confused at the end of the question because like, who cooks this much in one good hour

•He'll reassure you that the food will be eaten and not to worry anymore, Leo's got you

Raphael:

•when him and his brothers come back from some long, grueling stake-out he thinks there's some special occasion he missed

•"Did I forget something? I'm sorry I-" it takes you to hug him and crumple up for him to then really be confused

•"Donnie Somethings wrong!"

•Just tell him about what's gping on and why you took it out on cooking

•Raphael can't cook amazingly (mostly grilled cheeses and macaroni)) but he'll help you and probably eat 80% of it

•If his brother's won't eat it he'll shove it down their throats if he has to but luckily they don't need much convincing

•Helps you put stuff into tupperware and stack it into the fridge for later meals so now Raph can take care of you

•He'll get Mikey to do the dishes

Donatello:

•Donnie walks into the kitchen to the most confusing sight he has ever seen

•There you were, on the floor sobbing and covered in some kind of batter and all through the place laid multiple pots and pan filled with different foods

•He practically drooled at the smell but there were more important things to worry about, like you

•Donnie kind of approaches you like someone wpuld a small kitten. He doesn't want you crying any harder or getting upset with him

•"Hey love... whatcha doing?" Tries not to bring up the food or the fact your crying and messy. You look adorabley sad when you look up at him with watery eyes and go to hug his leg

•He coos at you and instead opts to pick you up and hold you while you whimpered in his shoulder about your problem

•It takes all his power not to just leave this for his brother's to handle and just go get a shower with you but that had to wait

•He helped clean the pots and wrap up foods, keeping his voice low as you sniffled. Donnie hated that you felt like this

•After he was sure the kitchen was clean he decided a bath was better for you and him so you could relax and melt away ypur troubles

Michelangelo:

•"Oh heck yeah, baby cooked din- hey what's the matter?"

•You sat glaring at the bread in the oven like it killed your family and he had to wave his hand in front of your face to get ypur attention

•You look worn down and defeated as you recounted the events of your day

•It was obvious you were more angry then upset

•Mikey looked at the different kinds of foods set up on the counter and gave you a look of endearment

•"You wanna eat our problems away?" Which would get you to laugh and finish an entire family sized lasagne and some fresh bread

•Obviously he'd send you off to take a nap while he did the dishes despite how much he hated them he loved you more

yata hates shimi in post betrayal right? Because of the betrayal of shimi. How ould he react to seing shimi with his siblings and mom? Like shimi just stumbles on 2 them and they invite shimi to icecream so when homra strolls around they suddenly saw them. How wpuld they react?

Technically I think that while Yata says he hates Fushimi post-betrayal and that he wants to hate Fushimi post-betrayal I would argue that he actually doesn't, in fact he really does still care about Fushimi and wants to be his friend again while Fushimi does his level best to make sure that doesn't happen. If Yata saw Fushimi with his family I think his first worry would be that Fushimi's like doing this to hurt him in some way, like maybe this is some weird plan on Fushimi's part to make him mad, though I think he actually wouldn't be worried about Fushimi hurting them or anything because he knows better. Like say one day Fushimi's out patrolling when he gets dive-bombed by a toddler, Fushimi looks down and there's little Megumi attached to his legs all 'Saru!' Fushimi clicks his tongue and wonders where she came from, that's when Yata's mom comes running up looking all relieved that a police officer found her daughter. Fushimi tries to look away, hoping he won't be recognized, but of course then Minoru's immediately like 'hey, it's Saru!' and Yata's mom gets this big smile all oh Saruhiko-kun, it's been too long. She's all chatting with him like he's a kid again and Fushimi wants to try and make a break for it but Megumi and Minoru are already trying to drag him to have ice cream with them and Fushimi can't bring himself to tell them to leave him alone.

Fushimi's standing there eating ice cream with the kids when Homra happens to walk by and Megumi spots Yata, excited because not only did she get to see Saru today but here's her big brother too. Yata's mom waves to him and Yata stops all confused like 'Mom...?' Then he sees Fushimi and he's like looking between Fushimi and his mom and his siblings as his mom's like we haven't seen you in forever Misaki why don't you ever call. Yata's wondering what Fushimi's doing there and Yata's mom says they happened to run into him and is surprised that they weren't together, Yata gives this awkward laugh like yeah that's weird huh. What I think would probably actually happen is rather than fighting the two of them get to sit there awkwardly eating ice cream and trying to act like nothing's wrong because they don't want to upset Yata's mom and siblings, like just imagine them arguing with each other under their breath but whenever Yata's family wonders if something's wrong Yata's like what no nothing's wrong right Saru and Fushimi rolls his eyes and clicks his tongue but doesn’t say anything. Neither one really wants to bring up the whole betrayal thing (not even Fushimi, who doesn't want to end up lectured by Yata's mom probably) and instead it's strange and uncomfortable for them both, being treated like they're still friends while knowing that their friendship has actually been broken, Yata wondering why it can't just be normal like this and why Fushimi had to ruin everything and Fushimi trying to act like he never enjoyed being treated like a part of Yata's family, as if he ever wanted any of this to begin with, telling himself he hates it because he can't want it.

A friend of ny Mum's killed himself recently and she's really sad about it and obviously that's more than fine and expected- I'm not here to complain that my mum has feelings, she's a very kind person and i wouldn't change that.

It's just that as she was crying, she said something like "He had a wife and kids, they were happy, how could he do that?" and every so often wpuld repeat "how could he do that?" and that she didn't understand.

I know that she was really grief-stricken and I would always take a chance to be there for her and hug her wjen sje cries and I have no fucking right to think about myself as this is happening but fucking hell..

All I could think was that I understood just fine how you could kill yourself even with a family you love and with things being fine. I have family that I love and my beautiful girlfriend but I still think about killing myself frequently.

My mum cried and cried and all I could think was that I was woefully unqualified to comfort her because I was almost fucking jealous of the guy and yes it's sad and I feel for the guy's friends and family but like... Yeah. I get it.

All I could do was hug my mum and bite my tounge because every time she said she couldn't understand why he did that... I just felt more alone and unseen than ever. It hit me like a fucking truck that as much as mum loves me and tries to help she just doesn't understand. Everytime I say I'm tired of this shit, she'll never understand the bone deep exhaustion that i feel when I have to leave the house. When I'm crashing and falling there's going to be no one there to catch me and no one who ever looks at me will actually see me.

Also, holy shit if she cried like this for him, I don't want to think about how she'll cry when I pop my clogs

I don't like thinking about how my family will react, and sometimes it's enough to make me stop my thoughts in their traks but not always

Afterall, I'm sure my mum's friend didn't like to think about his kids crying about him either. But he still went through with it
