Sweet Pool references

this reference is one i was NOT aware of at all until very recently, so credit to @/slybluehologhost for pointing it out! and for the screenshots if they are yours! their post was the one i found this out from lmao

the CG of one of the first rhyme fights in dramatical murder, is a corrupted version of the Okinaga household cg from sweet pool!

here is the original CG. if you notice it's using 3d resources, something that dmmd didn't actually have a lot of as backgrounds. the reason is because it's leftovers from the previous game!

if you look at the CG flipped, you can see clearly that it is the Okinaga household living room/kitchen!

in my opinion this is one of the coolest refs on this post. bc i played dmmd before every other n+c game, i genuinely didn't notice this when i first played. its something that only people who played sweet pool would notice, and i just find that so nice! just a lil easter egg for people who know

sweet pool bgm is also present in slow damage!

track 10, 12, and the video says bgm 22 but i cant rly hear anything? idk regardless the bgm plays when you go to beat up that guy who likes to get beat up by his brother for some reason LOL

another very very small reference that is extremely easy to miss is the fact that clear's nendoroid is in Mayu's room

if you zoom in on the parts i circled, you can see that the nendoroid box says 597. and nendoroid 597 just so happens to be the clear nendo!

Other Nitroplus title references

Mayu's room is FULL of Nitroplus title references. so much that some of them I didn't really recognize besides the obvious, so i literally had to just go through the character lists on nitroplus games to find what characters they were. ur welcome for this incoming information that you may or may not have known

probably one of the most recognizable nitroplus characters in this room is saya from saya no uta, mayu has a figure of her in the middle! (theres more boxes of her but this was the most noticeable imo)

to start from the top, the one in the long maid like dress is Petrushka from Kikokugai - The Cyber Slayer

Next to her is Franco il Nero from Zoku Satsuriku no Django

i couldnt find anything for who's next to this chara, so i assume its just swimsuit versions of the character Mayu's obsessed with

Going to the 2nd row, though you can just barely see her, i found this character to be Echika from Tokyo Necro

Next (disregarding the obvious figures in between) to her are the two main characters from You and Me and Her, Aoi Mukou and Sone Miyuki!

i find it a little funny that they would put these references in because the audience for the people playing nitroplus games vs the audience playing n+c games are like VERY different but nonetheless, pretty cool!

while not a "reference" per se, sweet pool is heavily inspired by saya no uta!

this is something thats just a generally agreed fact, but i felt compelled to include it anyway because i rly love both of these vns and i love rambling abt them. theyre very similar in the ways that they both got meat n gore, and the main characters dealing with the meat n gore, and the general theme of just isolating yourself from people because of it and not exactly having a happy end. fuminori completely giving up his outside life for saya, destroying friendships n whatnot, and youji locking himself in his room and shutting out people who aren't dealing w his lil problem (makoto). the ending where saya wins and the red road ending shares some vibes imo. its all very similar even down to the soundtrack that had some of the same people working on it, and even gen urobuchi himself (writer of saya) worked on sweet pool as an advisor. so in my head its canon that these two games r brother and sister

Zasadziłam wrzosy na balkonie. Szał. Raz na rok jest różowo, a potem stoi do jesieni, bo nie ma czasu zmienić wystawki xD (dosłownie - wczoraj sadząc obecne wrzosy wywaliłam do kosza ten z zeszłego roku, zasuszony - czeka pod drzwiami na spacer do kosza).

Obejrzałam w tle jednym okiem "Ukochane dziecko" od Netflixa - wydawało się, że będzie fajny serial, a jakoś tak... no nie wiem. Nie czułam payoffu pomimo scenariuszowo "poprawnie rozegranego" zakończenia.

Od dwóch dni na obiad idą warzywne surówki w różnych formach i to nam rozwala kubki smakowe.

Dziś mam w planach wysyłkę ciucha kupionego na Vinted i fotosesję kolejnych ciuchów do wystawienia na kolejne dni. Ech. Mam poczucie, że ilość zachodu jakiej wymaga przygotowywanie ciuchów do sprzedaży nie zwraca się ani miejscem w szafie, ani kasą w portfelu.

Potrzebuję pracy - wszystko jest taaaaak drogie.

Zaatakowała mnie alergia - nie wiem na co mam i chyba pierwszy raz w życiu borykam się z alergią jesienią, ale jest MOCNO. Filtr powietrza chodzi cały czas, biorę krople, a i tak jestem w kropki, a łeb pulsuje.

Wczoraj w nocy wybuchła nam puszka piwa xD przyprawiając o zawał serca. Teściowie jakoś wiosną przywieźli nam ze swojej wyprawy do Belgii lokalne piwo. Taki gift z podróży. Całe puszki wyetykietowane w fantastyczne ilustracje - fajnie wyglądały. Nie było okazji do otworzenia jakoś. Jak pijemy piwka to zwykle takie 0%, a tamte belgijskie były 4,8 i 9,4 %. Wczoraj już leżymy w łóżku, światła w mieszkaniu pogaszone i NAGLE huknęło - coś jak dźwięk przebicia balonu, albo wystrzelający korek szampana! Po prostu hałas i cisza! Wszyscy troje (z psem ofc) zerwaliśmy się by szukać źródła huku. Na pierwszy rzut oka NIC... ale coś leżało na podłodze. Jakiś dziwnie powyginany dysk. O. podniósł go z ziemi... a to górna część puszki, ta z zawleczką. Odeszła cała z częściami ścianek. No i już po tym znaleziku rzuciliśmy się do półki z kwiatami - za doniczkami z kwiatkami płynęła spieniona rzeka, która prędko zmieniła się w wodospad zalewając poniższe szuflady i podłogę. Zaczęło się zbieranie piwa, mycie, przenoszenie doniczek, ratowanie rzeczy do jogi, elektroniki... No i śmierdziało piwem. A na koniec tej akcji ratunkowej zmęczeni i nadal w szoku na wszelki wypadek otworzyliśmy drugą puszkę piwa i je wypiliśmy.

NEMIRNO MORE U MENI

More, naročito ono nemirno, je, nekako, uvek na čudan način živelo u meni. Tu vezu ne znam jasno da objasnim osim, možda time, što su neki moji preci , došli u ove krajeve, upravo sa mora, pa se taj gen „zapatio“ i u meni.

Ne znam kako se to dogodilo, možda je došlo vreme da shvatim da sam“žena svojih godina“, tek ovogodišnji boravak na moru kao da mi je otvorio neke dotad nepoznate vidike : bilo je tu : svesti o prolaznosti života, srećnih trenutaka, koje, ponekad, nisam znala da prepoznam, lepote, tuge...svega. Kažu da u životu, naročito u zrelim godinama, iz nas, iz svega što smo godinama, što svesno, što nesvesno „ubacivali“ u sebe, odjednom neka sila, kao sto more izbacuje za olujnih dana svašta iz svojih dubina,koje je bilo pokriveno, ko zna koliko dugo, naslagama peska i mulja, izbaci iz nas sve što smo tu gomilali, kao u neke fioke koje, mislili smo, nikada nećemo ni otvarati i onda, gotovo prvi put, spoznajemo svoju pravu ličnost, prisetimo se zaboravljanih želja, nedosanjanih snova, propuštenih prilika, ljudi koje nismo umeli da volimo, jer se i ljubav, kao i sve ostalo uči čitavog života,onih koji su „otišli“ pre nego smo mogli da shvatimo koliko će nam biti teško bez njih...setimo se tada i planova, mnogo njih, za koje smo mislili da ćemo imati vremena da ih ostvarujemo...

Kao devojčica, mašta mi nije nikad nedostajala, sam zamišljala da sam se, u nekom prošlom životu, ne sluteći da i u ovom jednom koji nam je dat živimo mnogo njih, rodila na moru i gotovo čulno osećala miris mora i četinara, huku talasa koji se nadmeću koji može više prebaciti do obale. Takva „morska“devojčica morala je imati, mislila sam, i neko „morsko“ ime, kao Ena, Iva, Una, Kate, Mare... Ne znam zašto sam uobražavala da te žene sa mora moraju imati kratka imena, jer, mislila sam, ta velika prostranstva i plavetnilo, ta nestavarna lepota, ne“trpi“ još nešto veliko kao dugačko ime. Najradije sam tu novostvorenu devojčicu u meni nazivala Una( jedna i jedina).Moram da priznam da i danas čeznem da se tako zovem.

Moja tadašnja putovanja na more bila su kao odlazak u zemlju „iza ogledala“. Sedela bih zanesena na obali i sve morske plime i oseke sam osećala i u svom „unutrašnjem“ moru. Pretvarala bih se u svojoj mašti u školjku čvrsto pičvršćena uz svoju stenu , koju bih, najpre pripitomila kao Mali princ svoju ružu. Kada bi se ta stena pretvorila u običan kamen, more me je nosilo na drugu, snažnu stenu ,čija bi me nežnost večno čuvala.

Kako sam odrastala, more sam volela na jedan realan način: bila sam uzbuđena i nervozna pred odlazak, predavala sam mu se za vreme boravka, i malo plakala, kao i sve žene, na rastanku. Naravno, uvek je nešto ostajalo tamo, ono što se samo pod tim nebom i pred tim talasima može doživeti. Nekad je ostajala pesma, nikad zaboravljena, kao ona koju sam, jedne večeri čula, na palubi broda, kojim sam plovila: „Ju te san se zaljubija“. Postoji li tuga sa primesama sreće, srećna tuga? Ako postoji, onda je to ono što osećam kad je slušam. Pune su „fioke“ tih uspomena :Frančesko, s kojim sam se čitavo jedno leto sporazumevala samo naslovima italijanskih pesama (koji su uvek tako romantični). Kao“Dio, come ti amo“, Se piangi, se ridi...

Kako vreme prolazi, hvata se neka melanholija oko srca, jer sve više shvatam prolaznost svega, pa i morske čarolije, od koje smo živeli čitave godine. Volela sam ukus soli, na svojoj koži, kosu koja postaje boje zrelog žita, preplanulu kožu...

A sada , sad je sasvim drugo. Posmatram more i pišem, već rutinski, dok, neočekivano ne„provali“ neki događaj iz davnih „morskih“ dana i shvatam da i posle svega „nije umrlo srce“...
