Takahashi and the symbolism of pomegranates
In chapter 103 Akira is strongly linked to pomegranates so I wanted to talk about the symbolism of them.
Pomegranates are very paradoxical and dualistic fruits in terms of their meaning and symbolism.
Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, and Zoroastrianism all turned the pomegranate into a symbol of mediation between life and death.
They have also been renowned throughout history for representing the medical field, fertility, and success. It makes perfect sense that Akira's character is depicted with pomegranates.
Now this is the most interesting part for me.
In chapter 103 we see him cutting and eating a pomegranate in a very creepy way, clearly the pomegranates are not what he really wants to cut and examine but are a replacement.
Even Kurai is afraid of what his brother might do (rightly so).
Which brings us to the story of why Takahashi became a doctor.
He himself admits that if he had not become a doctor on someone's advice he would probably be a serial killer by now.
So just like the legend between Hariti and Budha where he teaches her to sublimate her forbidden desires with pomegranate s, thus turning her from a devourer of children to a protector of children, the person who told Takahashi to become a doctor (Haru probably lmao) to satisfy his need to know (because what Takahashi wants is to know, to know what they all are made of, how they work, what they are like inside, whether that ends up hurting them is a side effect not the goal) by becoming a doctor and helping people/youkais instead of hurting them has turned him from a potential killer to someone who saves lives.

This is Felix!
His full name is Lee Felix (or Felix Lee), but he also has a Korean name, which is Lee Yongbok. He was born in Australia on September 15, 2000. He didn’t become fluent in Korean until after he became a trainee, but worked extremely hard to do so, with the help of the other members.
Video of Felix speaking English with his Aussie accent during one of his lives!
Felix is part of danceracha, and is a phenomenal dancer (although, I’d argue, he’s underrated). He’s also a talented rapper and vocalist, although he rarely sings in Stray Kids songs and seems to be quite shy about his singing voice.
Songs I personally love him in:
Rap: Cheese; Muddy Water; Maze of Memories; Victory Song; Easy
Dance: Performance of ‘Wolf’ with the Mayfly Unit on Kingdom; this dance video with Danceracha;(honestly, it’s unfortunate, but Felix doesn’t really seem to have any solo dance videos out there, at least none that I’ve seen. He’s a phenomenal dancer, but he tends to get overlooked a lot, and I hope one day, he’s comfortable enough to give us some solo content. Until then, I’ve linked a few fancams in his playlist!)
Vocal: Cause I Like You; Sorry, I Love You; ‘City of Stars’ cover; 24 to 25; Wow (he tends to rap-sing more than outright just sing, but he can definitely sing. I specifically link a video of him singing during one of his vlives in his playlist, so check it out!)
Felix is constantly referred to as ‘sunshine personified’ and it’s understandable why. He constantly radiates love and positive vibes and just seems like a really happy, chill kind of guy.
I would also argue that he’s also considered one of, if not the most, physically affectionate member of the group. He clearly loves hugs, cuddling, etc, and he clearly loves to express his love for others that way as well. He’s pretty well known for his skinship, and I bet he just gives the best hugs!
Although I would argue all the boys have a strong duality, many fans consider Felix (and Hyunjin) to have some of the strongest simply because he is sunshine personified, but when he opens his mouth, his voice is very deep and he can flip a switch and become a completely different person while performing. (A perfect example of this is Felix in the Maxident trailer, and then Felix in the Stray Kids Chuseok special they did. It’s like night and day, lmao)
A defining physical characteristic of Felix’s would definitely be his freckles! They were almost always covered up in their early days and even now, tend to get covered up far too much, but he’s definitely been showcasing them more lately!
Felix loves to bake and is well-known as the ‘brownie boy’ who bakes brownies or cookies for not only himself and his fellow members, but also any others that may be wherever they are, like shows and stuff.
Even though there’s a lot of mentions among the group and fans alike on how much Felix tends to resemble a cat (him and Lee Know are referred to as Meowracha!), his Skzoo character is actually a chicken named Bbokari (who even has his freckles!) I wasn’t too sure about this one, but the best I can tell, it’s because people (including the members) have mentioned how much he resembles a baby chick a lot. (It might also be a play on his Korean name, Yongbok)
And that’s all for Felix! I mentioned recently that he’s really grown on me lately. It’s not that I haven’t loved him since the beginning, hard not to. But he’s worked his way up to one of my favorites, I adore him.
Fun fact: Felix actually loves doing ASMR! So, if that’s a thing you’re into, he has a few videos on youtube, and he’s even posted some audio clips on bubble. He has also done a couple lives with an ASMR theme, so definitely look that up!
Felix’s playlist!
Some bonus pics of Felix!

Speaking of birthdays it's a bit bizzarre how all the fanon birthdays kinda lost popularity over the years but not Tweek's?
This year it became the Tweek Week which is a pretty cool idea and should be more often 👍, but a weird thing i remember during thar week was browsing so many japanese creek fujoshi on twitter in particular and finding so much Tweek birthday art, bro i think they didn't get the memo
