I just saw an honest-to-god essay on why Ascended Astarion is good actually and "equally good" for him as the Spawn ending and it had like links and references explaining why it's good and sweet and he was totally gonna take care of Tav
guys guys guys i have SO MUCH TO SAY i will restrain myself but my favorite fanfic ever actually is either love is a shrine (or else, a scar) by jamesevanwilson on ao3 i love fake marriage and its so beautifully done oh my god oh my god
Hearing Donald Sutherland as Snow say “it’s the things we love most that destroy us” in the trailer for The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes gave me chills.
I'm not gonna lie guys they really got me with The Raven. Idk what I expected, but it wasn't to cry over a recitation of The Raven. This is not how my day was supposed to go but here we are
“Now, I’ll tell you why I spit on your forgiveness; I’ll tell you why I loathe your redemption. To reach a hand down to somebody, they need to be BENEATH YOU!”
and that’s a one-hit KO by Exandria Unlimited: Calamity. Nice knowing all of you.
hello emilute fandom, I don't think we talk nearly enough about This Fic Right Here, which I have read thru twice tonight in its entirety and it has thoroughly destroyed me.
my friend told me today that if I were a fictional character I'd be the side character who's the fan favorite that everybody loves and wishes they had their own series and that is honestly the best compliment I have ever recieved
I apologize for the interruption, but I woke up this morning to THIS -
*muffled screaming noises*
@goschatewabn and @thecoziestbean, I am so excited people are planning to write this!! This is amazing! Would you share links if you do write the fics, please?
What is the plot? The guy who's secretly spying on Mulder and Scully rudely interrupts Mulder, who is swimming laps in a red Speedo. The reason? Mulder is wanted at a hostage negotion. The hostage-taker is a former FBI agent who was either abducted by aliens or experiences a very powerful psychosis or, perhaps, both. Is Mulder the perfect person for the job? Or does he want to believe too much? Metal implants are involved again, advancing the alien lore that a major reason aliens are coming to Earth is to do research on humans. Scully studies one of these items, and, on a trip to a grocery store where she buys a bag of groceries for $11.14 and pays for it with a paper check, runs it under the barcode scanner, which reads...something that results in an overactive display and loud noises.
What does this episode suggest about Mulder and Scully's relationship with each other? When Scully shows up to the hostage negotiation with information that Mulder had asked her for, she has to explain to the other agents what she's doing there. The way she responds is so "trying to be casual". Also:
Where are the aliens? Duane Barry went to a travel agency to try to find out!!!
