stop hating women for having emotions

A trend throughout a lot of fandoms, and particularly TVDU, is to celebrate men for showing the bare minimum in emotional maturity and then hating women for trying to work through their own emotions. I've seen this so much recently with Hayley. She gets hate from all sides of the fandom because of the men people stan.

Now don't get me wrong, there are legitimate reasons to not like her in certain aspects, but if you have to mention a man's name to try and explain it to me, you've already lost me. Every man she comes in contact with has done equal if not worse. You don't need to hate a character simply because you like another character.

I've seen it from Klaus stans, Elijah stans, Jackson stans, etc. People use any excuse to hate her because she isn't as devoted to their fav toxic man as they are.

Personally, Hayley is one of my favorite characters in TVDU. And everyone knows my top favorite character is Elijah. Sure, I wish the writers would have given us more haylijah, but blaming Hayley solely for that is ridiculous. Elijah spent all of season 1 putting up barriers and still the only reason she turns to someone else is because she wants to protect her daughter. She then sacrifices nearly her entire life for the Mikaelson family. Jackson stans hate her because she doesn't love him like they think he deserves, but again, she never breaks her promise to him. The marriage was always political. Jackson knew this but caught feelings anyway, this is not Hayley's fault that he wanted to make it more. Klaus stans hate Hayley for so many reasons I can't even list them, but they are all utterly ridiculous. One thing Hayley will always do is put Hope first, not Klaus, as any mother would do. Maybe if the other mothers in the show had done this, we wouldn't have such toxic men (also this is not shifting blame onto women just pointing out the cycle of trauma).

Hayley, unlike many of the men, had good intentions most of the time and actually had character growth. She went from being a selfish, reckless young woman to a completely selfless, caring mother and alpha.

We see the same trends with Rebekah, Elena, Bonnie, Caroline, etc. All of the women are condemned whenever they try to process their emotions or put themselves first for once in their lives. I know the cast is made up of some attractive men, but we need to stop being so blinded by their appearance that we cannot recognize the importance of women fighting for their own happiness. Even if that happiness isn't from an attractive man. As Christina Yang would say, "He's not the sun, you are."

Follow up to the Kai Parker ask (off anon) but when you said “He found a little bit of security in Lily Salvatore” it threw me back to that one fic you wrote with Kai and the mice where he brought the reader back to lily’s and it had such heavy found family vibes and I loved it sm, I swear you’re right about Kai’s character turning out differently if someone had given him a second chance. He really did just want to belong. Also, love that your mom is a Matt girly, my little sister is a Tyler Lockwood stan 😂😂

Awwwh, tbh, that one's one of my favorites that I've written! I freaking love the found family trope, and there's a great lack of fics of him being with the heretics in a family sense (& him with heretics in general). [I want to write more, too.]

But yeah, he just wants to feel like he belongs somewhere, and even though he didn't really know Lily, she still gave him that feeling of security through, if you take my blood, you're pretty much indestructible. And the heretics would contribute to giving him that feeling of safety and belonging, considering they're in the same boat Gemini siphon-wise, and he was with them for four months, and let them feed on him.

The lack of redemption bothers me so much because almost every single villain was redeemed up to season 5, and then they just started killing them off. But unlike Silas, the Travelers, Lily's boyfriend I forgot his name, and the Sirens, Kai was actually putting effort into being better, but then they totally screwed him over.

And I could even see him getting close to Damon later in season 6, when he wanted answers about his mother. They could've been buddies, but then Bonnie had to go in and ruin it. Kai could've had his life; he'd probably stay in Mystic Falls and continue to gain their trust. Jo wouldn't have died; the heretics wouldn't have absolutely ransacked MF; Matt wouldn't have lost his shit with the vamps for good. 😅 If they just forgave Kai, so many problems would've been avoided, and the poor boy could've had the redemption arc he deserved. I'll be forever mad about it.

Also, laughing about your sister liking Tyler. 😂 He 's almost as bad as Matt. Thing is though, I don't really hate either of them. Tyler peeves me most of the time, but I like some of his qualities. Matt's fine when he's being loyal to his friends, but I lose respect for him when he's sleeping with Rebekah but actively hating vampires, but then I really hate him in seasons 7 & 8. Being anxious of vampires is entirely valid, but he can't hate them and sleep with them, too. 😅

tvdu 'they were made heroes because they'd be unstoppable as villains' edition.

warning: writer of this post is suffering from serious post-vaccination delirium.

~ first is stefan salvatore, obviously. he's the ripper. if he was a villain, he'd make a very good one. probably last a few seasons or maybe till the finale and stuff (brought back from the dead). don't see him as the main villain, probably a sidekick of sorts.

~ second is bonnie bennett. don't see her as the villain type because her goodness far outweighs her negative qualities. but she'd make a very good villain if we considered the vendetta she has against vampires in particular (S2, she refused to help Caroline but later conceded)

~ third is klaus mikaelson. obvious choice, he was a wonderful villain and had a fantastic redemption arc. if hope hadn't been conceived, he would've still been causing a lot of chaos.

~ fourth is elijah mikaelson. he's very unpredictable. decapitation is his favourite killing method. has a charming personality and a way with words. very dangerous but we all still love him

~ fifth is damon salvatore. very dangerous. literally assaulted women; caroline, andie the reporter, elena, etc. and that's creepy as hell.

~ sixth is hope mikaelson. tribrid, the most powerful creature. firstborn mikaelson. power could've gone to her head and corrupted her, something like that. right now, she's on a no-humanity spiral which serves as proof.

~ seventh is freya mikaelson. let's be honest — she's the mikaelson firstborn. highly powerful. she was kind of a serious threat to hope in TO S2 and even went to great lengths to subdue dahlia, making elijah wary of her.

~ eighth is josie saltzman. she could've made a slightly annoying, yet highly powerful villain of sorts thanks to her being a gemini witch. if she became a heretic, she'd be even more of a threat.

~ ninth is elena gilbert. this is a conflicting thought of sorts. i can't say she'd make a nice villain, but I sometimes see elena (this is coming from an elena stan) and I analyze both her good and bad sides. sometimes her bad side shines brighter (like how she killed kol) and it kind of leaves an impact that is sometimes frustrating to ignore. maybe the tvd writers could've let her go down to a path where she ends up corrupting herself thanks to vampirism and then become an unstoppable witch-vampire hybrid by tapping into her Petrova heritage (and ruthlessly kills a lot of people) bonnie could've killed her along with the destruction of the other side. elena meets kai in the prison world and it continues on and on (potential kailena?) and then in the future, we could probably see a elena-katherine team up. grey opinion, but very interesting.

~ tenth is alaric saltzman. tvd S3 serves as fantastic proof that alaric is a better antagonist than a protagonist (tbh he's literally a deuteragonist because he protects hope and at the same time, he disses klaus and the entire mikaelson legacy in front of her) as evil!alaric, he literally spiced up the tvd S3 finale and it was just so good.

~ eleventh is rebekah mikaelson. partly, because her antagonistic side was shown only against elena and her banter with caroline didn't feel like a hero-villain convo, more like a rivalry banter that was enjoyable. regardless, she is very ruthless, there's that too.

(Anti Elena stans, but I felt like you were also anti actions she took on the show as a whole, so ?) anyway no hate or anything I'm just wondering. love your blog, thanks!

i appreciate the sentiment of you liking my blog, it's so nice to hear such positivity and kindness, so thanks! come off anon if you ever wanna talk or hang or whatever.

imo dullena is absolutely rancid, and ste.lena have their moments but are boring as fuck and like 100% unrealistically fluffy. they had a lot of chemistry initially but they kind of became flatbread and boring after a while, and anyways, the salvabros treat elena horribly in the name of her protection, practically dehumanizing her and making her feel like she's not even a real person because they "love" her or whatever, which is absolute bullshit. i mean she says d.amon gives her "freedom" or whatever which is just. not true at all and there's plenty of evidence of d.amon being an abusive pos towards her, and ofc elena views him as "making her happy" because there's an unhealthy power imbalance between them and she's a victim of his abuse. if there was going to be any two siblings plus elena love triangle on tvd it should have been elejah/beklena and not dullena/ste.lena, for thousands of reasons that i might get into some other time.

as for elena herself - she's not my favorite character on tvd and i think bonnie and caroline deserve more time to shine than she does because they'd make much better lead characters, but elena herself is a cupcake. she's incredibly sweet and compassionate, fiercely loyal to her family and will protect them above all else, and she's not afraid to manipulate her way into an alliance to protect the ppl she loves, which are v admirable traits. i don't hate elena because she seems cool enough, i just prefer bonnie and caroline and several other characters over her - and needless to say elena deserves better than either salvatore brother, she deserves happiness and love and friendship, and to be in a relationship where she is respected and feels safe which d.amon and st.efan will never offer her.

elena's actions are an entirely different thing, though. i like that she makes "morally incorrect" actions at time for a noble purpose (saving her friends and her brother) because morality isn't black and white lmao, and we all do terrible things because the "right" choice is subjective and open to interpretation. tvd would be a much worse show if she made that choice all the time because being constantly perfect is unrealistic.

what i hate is that she's not held accountable - to the same degree of misogynistic treatment caroline gets from the writers for her decisions. elena's choices are always framed as okay because she is the main character and we have to root for her, but caroline doesn't have the same privilege of her own high horse to sit on. and yeah ppl got so mad at caroline for, what, rightfully telling e.lena what a terrible person d.amon is?? i get that she could stand to be a bit more supportive but the way fandom attacked her for having negative thoughts about her best friend dating her abuser is....... yikes. i'm not anti elena's actions, because yeah i love klaroline so obvs i can't be like "wow how dare elena date the villain," i'm anti the disproportionate treatment of elena versus caroline, and how elena and caroline basically had a toxic cycle of slut shaming each other in the salvatore's bathtub that one ep lmao.

FNAF 1, getting them to like you and a few relationship headcanons?

Ook so this is a gift for my friend! We're both very big friends of FNAF, also this might be a bit long- also Purple guy is William Afton and I refer to him as both.

Freddy Fazbear

This guy ain't a fluffy teddy bear

Like at all

Well, atleast in the beginning

He is very violent and scary-

But as I said before, no idea how your going to make him not kill you

You better befriend the other animatronics first

Try with Foxy, surprisingly he is the friendliest-

But yeah, after you befriend Foxy, Bonnie and Chica, mabye even golden freddy, then they're probably going to try convincing Freddy not to kill you

It might not work, or it might

Most likely will

Get in with puppy eyes towards him

But yeah, after they convinced him to let you live, he's not going to be your friend

He's going to ignore you like no tomorrow

And scare teh shit out of you

Trying to get you to leave, he doesn't like you

Freddy was the last one to die of the animatronics, and he feels very guilty about it

If you find him in an episode where he is very panicky and guilty, hug him and tell him it's not his fault, he couldn't have prevented it

No matter what you do, do not say that it was William's fault, Freddy will go cray-cray and kill you

But yeah, after that he might warm up to you a bit

And then he will try going into conversations you hold with other animatronics

And after some time he will make conversations with only the two of you

Will be terrified of losing you or having Purple guy kill you and making you an animatronic

Boy will be so panicky and scared of confessing to you

What if you reject him and he never sees you again

Will take like a week of non stop support from the others to get him to man up and confess

Although, Chica will most likely just tell you how he feels, or mabye Foxy will

You can chose to Confess to him instead

Once that's out of the way and your together

Oh boy oh boy

Remember what I said about him not being a fluffy teddy bear?

So, surprisingly

Bonnie is the second least friendly and second most violent

But unlike Freddy he's actually kinda friendly

You won't succeed in befriending him first

But you can with Chica

And if shes your freind Bonnie will be willing to give you a chance

If one of them is giving you a chance then he guessed he can to

Only to make his friends happy

And then you do become his friend

And then he and Chica are teaming up to make all the others like you and not kill you

Foxy was easy, he's a friendly fox lol

Goldie was a bit more difficult, but he got the memo of not killing you

And then you never see him again actaully-

Anyways

Bonnie is very violent and not very easy to become friends with

But he will do almost anything for his friends

It might take you a few weeks to make him your friend tho

He has slight trust issues-

Anyways, let him teach you guitar please

Also if you sing that's a plus-

After some time and he realizes he likes you?

Oh boy its oBviOUs-

Like he is so flustered and shy and isnt his normal self

He will never confess, so luckily he's obvious so you can confess to him instead

Bonnie also loves hugs

And will hug you if your in a relationship all the time

It's his right now, right?

No not relaly Bonnie but sure-

Anyways, flat out will do anything for you

Feels bad he wanted to kill you though-

Make sure he isn't feeling insecure about that

Also pat his head, will pretend he thinks it's stupid but he loves it-

Foxy the Pirate Fox-

You know, he is surprisingly the friendliest-

Befriend Chica and Bonnie before you meet him and he will show up to meet you because, 'the others are befriending them so why cant I?'

Again, he is a good fox uwu

Anyways, if you dont

When he is banging on the door, try making conversation

The second or third time you do that he will stop, sit down and talk to you

Also if Bonnie comes he will just growl at him

He may be the Friendliest, but he is almost on par with Freddy when it comes to strength, which puts him on the second place if strength

Not to mention his speed and hook

He buff boy

And he will protect you if he sees you as a friend

Not looking at him in the camera makes him like you more

Whether it's on purpose or not, it makes him feel like you want him over with you to talk and that yourepsect the fact he doesn't like being seen through the camera

Plz dont call him a wolf it makes him very angry-

Anyways, if you befriend him, none of the animatronics will be able to do shit

And so Chica befriends you instead!

And then Bonnie does it

And then emediantly the three will bothered Freddy until he let's you live

Freddy may be strong but he can't beat all three so he is kinda fucked on the matter

Goldie will just understand and stay away

Again you never seem to see him again-

Oh well

Anyways, the second Foxy realizes he likes you

He's at your security office door confessing his love-

Of course you except

And now your a thing

Ngl Bonnie will be weirded out in the begining-

So will Goldie but we dont know where he is so that wont matter now will it-

Anyways, very touchy

Will try to impress you whenever

Ejeeje will make Chica teach him how to make cake and pizza, he knows you need to eat and he makes it for you-

Will probably be terrible in the start but dont tell him you'll make him sad

But again, cuddling and hugging is a must-

But he won't touch you in the start

He's worried, he's strong and broken

And he has a hook-

He could end up hurting you

But after you hug him and tell him you trust him

He will be all over you every. Single. Second-

Lmao he's a good boy, keep him uwu

Golden 'Goldie' Freddy

Who?

Oh right

The golden teddy

Yeah, uhm

You cant befriend anyone-

If you even want to meet this boy stay away from everyone

And dont get scared when he appears

Question 'freDDy? I thOUgHt yOu weRe oN StaGe?' And he will lose it

Will start screaming stuff like "I'm not that ugly piece of shit-' "I'm golden why would you think I'm FredDy?"

Start laughing and tell him it was a joke

And he will be a flustered mess

Tease him about it

He will leave, but come back once he is less flustered

Do this a few times and he will stop trying to scare you

He is surprisingly friendly

And since you make him to flustered to scare or kill you, he will just have to be your friend until you stop so he can kill you

It ends up with you being a good friend

And making him feel better and less alone

So he ends up telling the others to fuck off

And spending all the six hours in your office with you

Ends up liking you very early on

And it takes him years to tell you he likes you

Surprisingly, its Freddy telling him to confess

Because 'your annoying just tell her already' but we all knownits because he cares about Goldie

And so he confesses

And you except because you wouldn't be here if you didn't :D

My hand hurts from writing and I still have Chica and the rest of Goldie to write-

Anyway, once you're together

You will learn he isnt actually that touchy

He will cuddle and give hugs once in a while tho-

Also stay away from freddy, the others are fine but he gets super jealous over freddy-

Ok onto ChIca-

Chica the Chicken

Shes very friendly uwu

Befriend her

Emediantly

Foxy will befriend you to, and so will Bonnie

And them they make Freddy 'befriend' you

Goldie gets the memo, and again nobody ever sees him again-

Seriously, what happened to Goldie-?

Anyway

Chica is so friendly

Your both going to be the best friends

She will make Cake and Pizza amtaht you can eat

And you can make it together

She will introduce you to cupcake

And then your all friends!

Shes very friendly

Also lots of gossiping about the animatronics and the outside world

And hugs, shes very affectionate

And friendly

Did I mention it takes her ages to realize she likes you?

No?

Because she does-

And it's a bit sad because who dosent want to date the chicken

Shes amazing

Also, shes the only girl so if your a girl she wont have to be the only girl anymore which is such a pLuS for her

She loves you with all her heart

Will not hesitate to start a fight with all teh other animatronics if it's for you

She may lose but she tried

Foxy would never fight her though, so its fine-

Bonnie also loves his friends so he wont

Which puts foxy and Bonnie away from the fight

Which makes it Freddy vs Chica

But we found Goldie

He wants to beat Freddys ass-

So nownits freddy vs Chica and Goldie

But Goldie tells Chica to fuck off

So now Foxy, bonnie, chica and you are chilling in the security office

It's a bit cramped not gonna lie

But you hear the two fighting

So you watch them trough the security cameras

It's very funny and your all laughing-

You all feel a bit bad but it's funny and you cant help it-

Chica is cuddling you all the time-

Submissive shigaraki is literally..my everything! I will forever Stan for female dominant Characters as well so this was so fun to make..I dunno if I will do a part 2 since I feel like this sucks despite how much I had fun writing it.

"damn heroes! Damn them! I'll kill them all! They will be crushed!"

Tomura was scratching aggressively while ranting at the bar. You on the other hand was calm and collected compared to him but that's how you two were. He was a wild mess and you kept him in control and made sure he wasn't being stupid. You gazed at the male with a bored expression while sitting at the bar and decided to let him let out some anger since he wasn't really doing anything too bad. You glanced at toga and dabi who were watching while also looking a little worried since he seems way more angrier than normal.

You were the only person he would listen to and this could be due to the fact that you worked him like a dog. He was your sweet little mutt and you both knew it. There would be times where you are having a conversation with one of the others and tomura will sit in your lap and bury his head in your chest like a child.

He needed to feel that control in order to live..he needed to feel needed and useful but he also needed praise and love which was exactly what you gave him. Tomura did love to push your buttons though cause when you got mad it was far too amazing and drove him insane with lust.

You were his everything and you two were a deadly couple..you made Bonnie and Clyde look like saints. During battle you helped tomura focus but you also kept him in check when he would lose it..and speaking of losing it tomura was freaking out. You crossed your legs while fixing your skirt and watched the male kick a chair across the room while he ranted about how he'll kill all heroes so you knew you had to once again keep him in check.

"tomura..calm down.."

"SHUT UP!"

His harsh tone made everyone in the room shut up and you felt eyes on you waiting for your reaction. You could hear whispers about what you would do to tomura since last time he misbehaved he was hugging your thigh and drooling about an hour later with bruises all over him. Tomura was so angry that he didn't seem to realize his mistake until he felt a kick to the face that knocked him down.

While he was down you stepped on his chest with your heel digging into his chest while he looked at you in shock. If he wanted to he could kill you he would..but it's you and the thought of hurting you made him shudder so he kept his hands above his head while looking at you.

The look of disgust you gave him made him gulp and shudder as you pressed your heel down harder on him. "Look at you...already a gross mess. The fact that you think you could disrespect me is cute." You cooed out before raising your foot and crashed it down on his chest which made him grunt in pain as he looked at you with a drooling expression.

"tomura...shouldn't you apologize?"

Tomura decided to play hard to he fought the urge to do as you command and instead he turned his head away. You very quickly caught on and moved your foot from him and grabbed his arm before dragging him away to a back room before you roughly tossed the male in and closed the door.

"tomura...have you forgotten how this works? You must have..guess it's my fault for spoiling you"

You watched the blue haired male get up and cross his arms "I...I don't have to listen to you!" He hissed out and scowled angrily but you both knew this was a game. A game tomura played as his way of begging to be dominated. As you walked over to the male he felt his heart race and the thrill flooded him when you reached and pulled his hair before kicking his leg which forced him on his knees.

You were shorter than him but height meant nothing to either of you..tomura once tried to use his height against you but it took one swift kick to the face to set him in place. Tomura adored every once of you and even now he leaned forward and nuzzles his face against your thigh and d his tongue licked your bare thigh desperate for his punishment..what were you gonna do to him? Would it be physical? Maybe sexual? There was one time you made him watch as you played with yourself..god it was so hot.

You yanked him back away from him before throwing him to the floor and kicked him in the stomach which made him shudder and cough in pain but the pleasure was amazing. He wanted more..he wanted you to hurt him more. He wanted the feeling of being controlled and used but your next action made him lose his mind and not in the good way.

"since you wanna act like a big boy then I guess I'll find a new puppy.."

You were bluffing..you had to be! You wouldn't dump him like this! After everything you two been through you wouldn't dare. Tomura sat up and looked away "I don't care" that was such a lie since he was about one second from begging you to stay with him. He wanted you to hurt him but this was too much. He could feel his sanity drop as each second goes by.

"oh? Don't care. That's fine I'm sure dabi or twice will make lovely puppies..I wonder how good their tongues are.."

And with that tomura shigaraki was a mess beyond words. He launched forward and his face pressed against your bare thighs once again as he started to beg. He couldn't be without you...he just couldn't.

"please...please...[name]..I'm sorry! Don't do it! You can't leave! I'm helpless without you!" He was a mess as he licked your thigh and tried to separate your legs to get a taste of that sweet heavenly nectar. He figured that would be a way of forgiveness..even if he licked and sucked so much that his jaw broke he would do it all for you.

Seeing tomura being desperate and vulnerable made you laugh before you moved his hair from his face "I suppose I can forgive you...if you do a good job" you purred out and softly pushed tomura back before walking over to a table before sitting down and spreads your legs.

Tomura very quickly settled between your thighs and took your panties off before putting them in his pocket for later. He didn't start yet since he was waiting for your official permission so instead he looked at you like a dog waiting to get a treat from their master. Prt1: I know you're probably over the htgawm talk but I can't get over how they did my girl Michaela. I honestly don't think she deserved to be alone. I atleast would liked to have seen her and Laurel make ammends because I did like their friendship. And it wouldve meant a lot to viewers to see a healthy friendship between bw and ww because we ususlly get pit against each other on tv and irl. I think everyone needs to rewatch the first season because I remember Michaela feeling awful after Sam,

TPrt2: and Connor being determined to cover it up and not getting caught. And the Simon thing is stupid because they would've ended up killing him anyway for blackmail. Oliver really annoyed me for constantly throwing that in her face just because he got a love confession. I honestly thought it was fake and that he was trying to cause a rift between him and Connor but OK he loved him I guess. It was almost like the show was trying to get us to hate Michaela. Like when they randomly had her cheat

Prt3: on Asher?? And so many other things that I wont bother listing. But yeah I knew what the show was trying to do but I didn't think people would actually fall for it and give her hate. But at least Annalise made it through. But TWO black women having a happy ending? Thats asking for way too much I guess. Sorry for the long ask but I wasn't able to reply to any of the posts Haha.

I really am lol, but I’ll take some anons on it. It’s a fun way to pass the time since I’m working from home. I can’t do 75% of the stuff I normally have to, so I’m just sitting around waiting for phone calls to give me something to do lol.

I don’t remember if Connor reacted that way. I know that he and Michaela both had these epic breakdowns that they’d spent the rest of the season (at least) recovering from. And Michaela was the one saying from jump that they should have gone to the police when Laurel and Wes were like “no bitch!” Like, people act like she’s been heartless the entire time or something and she hasn’t.

And I think it’s a thing with writers, especially white ones, where they don’t really know what to do with two Black female characters. Annalise was the main character, so it was easy to dump all the Black talking points on her. And Viola makes it hard to not want to do that: she’s a dynamic actress and you know she can handle the complexity these issues need.

But Aja is a great actress too, and easily could have handled having to question her sexuality, or redefining what a successful modern (aka, young) Black woman looks like. They didn’t have to side line her and then only remember her when they needed her to be a bitch.

But even despite all the shit she did, she was at least consistent in that she thought of herself first and foremost. And I ain’t even mad at her for that. It’s not to say she never felt remorse; she obviously felt shitty about a lot of the things they did. But how was what she did worse than Asher killing a woman, or all the people Frank and Bonnie killed (I’m not happy Bonnie died, but I’m not as upset as some folk because yeah it kinda makes sense)? Like, it’s so funny to me that someone would have the nerve to say Michaela was “almost the worst” out of everyone when she at least can say she didn’t take a fucking life! Like wtf?

But like, I think it’s one thing to see what the writers were trying to do and saying “ahhh, no,” but the reaction to me says they weren’t even viewing Michaela through the right lens. Again, Annalise “took care of” everyone, trying to protect them and make sure they didn’t go down for all the horrible shit THEY did. So she’s a saint and we “stan” her despite all the lying and cheating and people being killed on her behalf. But Michaela isn’t a monster for looking out for herself. Her father, who is a super successful entrepreneur was in her ear telling her to choose herself! Successful people choose themselves every time. You think Jeff Bezos is disgustingly rich by doing the right thing by his employees? Ha!

Again, not saying it’s all justified, but it’s so interesting how fans can excuse Annalise and all the white people acting up, but Michaela is the uber bitch. Hmmm....

I hate the inconsistency. If you just generally didn’t like a character, fine, but keep it at that. When you spewing hate on a character in a way that shows you didn’t catch what the writers were doing, that’s when I get annoyed. I’m a writer; I know how hard these teams work to create compelling television. Isn’t always great or perfect, but I know the effort that goes into it. If you get it and don’t like it, I can respect it. But if you using your biases and blind hate to miss the point, get over yourself.

it was Bonenzo fan, angry or bitter because Bonenzo wasn't endgame. The thing is Bonnie deserved better after every single episode, not only because Enzo died. (I actually was happy when Stefan killed him, becuse I don't like Enzo since seasin 5). So as a Bonnie stan and after 8 years of shit Bonnie Bennett was the character who deserved better the most. Now back to Caroline being raped. No matter what Julie Plec said it was rape and she knows it too. The thing is she can't change it. (part2)

She wrote scenes where Damon was rude to Caroline, he was an ass to Caroline, he called her names, and then happened the worst - he used her. JP wanted to show everyone that for Damon all girls are just food and sex dolls, she wanted to show us that his eyes are only for Elena, that he can be nice and good only with Elena. She wanted to show us that Caroline didn’t matter for Damon at all. And now she is trying to exus her writing with “it was fantasy show with vampires”.

The way the writers tried to brush off Damon’s abusive behaviour was disgusting. Sometimes I truly can’t believe that JP among some of the other writers were unable to wrap their head around the concept of consent.

The only way in which the phrase ‘it was a fantasy show about vampires’ can be applied to TVD is when we see characters going about killing people, even the supposed ‘good’ ones and when we see general violence like fighting etc… that’s what we expect from show’s that are within the supernatural genre or about vampires, not rape.

I actually really enjoyed Enzo’s character and although I don’t think that Bonenzo was as established as it could’ve been, the ship was by far one of Bonnie’s better ones. I think the overall conclusion we’ve reached after all of this is that, the writers will not hesitate to step on the female characters to prop the male ones and that BOTH Caroline and Bonnie deserved better.
