After i read about mean caption prices ( abuse power) i just have an idea for Alejandro being mean too,
just want to request that
Love your work so much!
no title, just fucking alejandro
tags: drunk decisions, dub-con, possibly incorrect spanish, fem reader, oral (fem receiving), inappropriate touches from alejandro, kinda forcing himself on reader
a/n: asked a friend for the phrase at the end and idk if she really gave me an accurate translation l but um, i really wish i just googled it now. anywho enjoy! i tried my best to make alejandro be like his words are sweet but his actions are mean but i cant think of him as a power abuser TT im so sorry if I didn’t do what you wanted
Tumblr media
alejandro doesn’t sound mean, no, his words are so, so sweet. in fact, every word has you hanging onto his next. god, and his praises are to live for. a successful mission and his hands gripping your shoulder while he exclaims how you did so well, making you feel oh so special.
so special, in fact, you excuse the little actions your colonel makes. the way he sneakily pinches your ass, and how his eyes are most definitely not on yours. his arm hung over your shoulder linger for far longer than appropriate, rubbing on your shoulder occasionally. how he asks you for little favors at the late hours of the night; to go to his office, and sit there silently while he looked at you. and 5 minutes later, you’re dismissed to go back to your barracks while he finished up some… unfinished business. what that is, you don’t ask; alejandro told you not to worry about it and you trust your colonel, don’t you?
there’s little things he does that you don’t know about. going through your records, checking your marital status, just the little details. on occasion, he’ll let it slip, but please, don’t mind him! he’s just checking for safety measures, or something like that.
one day, he’s a little too bothered with his unfinished business and he needs help, specifically your help! of course you feel honored, he’s your colonel, and he’s asking for your help, specifically. so you'll dismiss the fact he barged into your baracks, yeah?
leaning against the door with an arm over his head, hair disheveled, a thin layer of sweat like he just had a workout and hazy eyes like of someone drunk. and you're sitting in bed with nothing more than a thin layer of cloth covering you.
the next few seconds are a blur; he walks over and now you're trapped in between his arms as he's breathing into the crook of your neck. he smells faintly like alcohol and you can't stop squirming around, it just feels soo ticklish when his breath hits your skin. holding your hands down with his to keep you still, he whispers a quick, barely audible "por favor, let me do this..." before slamming your lips with his.
he's all over your lips, only really letting go for a bit to let you catch your breath. his body pressed against yours; you can feel his chest moving as he breathes, a few strands of hair fall on your face, and the growing bulge in his pants. he'll take a good look of you, soaking in every little detail of your pretty little face before going down on you. and he's so, so good with his tongue, you're practically seeing stars. when he's done with that, he'll shove two fingers and spread you open as wide as possible, to test you, prep you.
your clothes are ripped off you and he's fumbling trying to unzip his pants with one hand. the seconds it takes to free his cock feels like forever to him, so forgive your colonel if he's a little impatient, ok? oh he really should do more prep with you, i mean, just look at your tight little pussy. he really should, but god, he doesn' have the time; he might as well die if he doesn't shove his throbbing cock in you right now. and that's what he does.
rams his cock straight into your pretty plush cunt. and it's so thick. he might not have the longest cock, but god, he's a contender for one of the thickest. you're being stretched so wide, so far, no one has ever stretched you this far and it hurts. but it feels so good, and tears flow down your face, and you're too cockdrunk to form words. eye rolled back, you subconsciously grind on him, even after he's made you cum, even when the overtsimulation is getting painful. he's picking up the speed, chasing after his own pleasure, and you can feel his cock throbbing inside. and he's singing you honeyd praises between grunts. praises that keep you staying, keep you wanting more.
it takes him so, so much self control to pop him cock out and cum on your stomach. he's still riding his high, a little drunk when he collapses onto your chest.
"quiero follarte en la posición de perra nalgona.."
you look at him confused. god, you need some spanish lessons don't you? he chuckles.
"guess you need to improve your spanish. so i'll meet you here tomorrow night for some personal spanish lessons, aye?"
how can you decline your colonel?

Love that fic, but having trouble expressing that love in a comment? Worried that you're leaving the same comments over and over?
Here are 40 comment ideas!
Keyboard Smash. Bonus points for a mix of uppercase and lowercase. End with a brief compliment: "Love it!" "So good!" "Amazing!" "This is my everything!"
Emoji string. Go as long as you feel appropriate. Throw in some 🔥 for good measure.
Quote a phrase, sentence, or passage that resonated with you, and explain why. "I love this description." "This is such beautiful language." "This metaphor is so brilliant." "This is the perfect way to describe [character/thing]."
Ask the author what inspired them to write such an incredible story. (Most authors dream of these types of comments.)
Share how the fic made you feel as you read it. Were you scared for a character? Were you cheering on your favorite? Did that smut make you all hot and bothered?
Thank the author. Bonus if you can thank them for something specific: Sharing this amazing work, introducing this awesome character, creating this cool AU, etc.
Identify your favorite character in the fic, and explain why they're your favorite.
Any indication that you're so in love with a work you literally want to eat it. My personal favorite that I've received is "I want to shove this in my mouth like an entire oreo," but "I want to print this out and stuff it in my face" and "This fic is like an amazing five-course meal, every bite is delicious!" are also winners.
For a multi-chapter fic, any version of "Wow, this keeps getting better and better!" This can really help keep an author motivated, especially if they've been focused on one longfic for a while. Longfics tend to have diminishing engagement over time, so commenting on later chapters is especially meaningful.
Tell the author that something in their fic is your "emotional support [thing]." Bob is my emotional support character, this is my emotional support fic, etc.
Tag it as if it were a social post, with all the hashtags it makes you think of. #myfavoritefic #incrediblewriting #truelove
Did you do something maybe a little dumb while reading the fic? Stay up all night reading? Nearly walk into a wall because you were reading while walking? Show up late to class because you couldn't put it down? Share your dumb thing!
Make predictions on what you think will happen next, and explain why. End your comment with something along the lines of "I can't wait to find out if I'm right or wrong!" Note: Be sure to phrase your comment as to what you predict will happen, not what you think SHOULD happen.
Did the fic make you discover a new side or facet to a character? Talk about that. "I never noticed how [trait] [character] is until I read your work!" Example: "I never noticed how creative Eric was until you brought it out in this fic, but it's absolutely true!"
Have you re-read a work (especially multiple times)? "I'm re-reading this for the third time because I love it so much."
"This is my second kudos!" Repeat as many times as you want. Third, fourth, fortieth, it's all good.
Are you a new subscriber? "Loved this so much that I subscribed!"
Are you an existing subscriber? "Every time I see an update in my inbox, I get so excited and rush to read it!"
Is there an Original Character (OC) in the fic? Ask about the OC! Ask what inspired the author to create the OC. Ask for more information about the OC's background. Ask if the OC is based on any particular character or idea. Ask how they came up with the name, and if it has any special meaning. Seriously, just ask the author about their original creation.
Tell the author how attached you're growing to their story or their characters.
"It was so [emotion] when [character] did [thing]." For example, "It was so scary when Eddie charged off on his own, I was so worried for his safety!"
Having a tough time in the real world? Let the author know if their fic or characters are a much-needed bright spot in your day.
Is the fic something you normally don't read? "Normally I'm not into [thing], but this fic is so good it's changed my mind!"
Did the author portray a complex topic well, with understanding and nuance? For example: surviving domestic abuse, coming out in a non-supportive environment, dealing with trauma, etc. Tell the author! "I can really tell you did your research. You handled [topic] so well!"
Can you personally relate to a scenario or a character in the fic? Did it touch you on a personal level? Say so!
Is it an older story? COMMENT ON THE OLDER STORY! Tell the author that it still has meaning and relevance, and that readers are still enjoying it today.
Does the fic present a pairing (or relationship) you never considered or never liked before, but now you adore? "This fic has made [pairing] my new favorite ship!" or "I was never really into [relationship] before, but this fic is so well done, I've fallen in love with them!"
A string of heart emojis (or the simple <3 ). As many as you feel appropriate. (One is appropriate. So is one hundred. You decide!) Make a rainbow if you want! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Did the fic make you look at the source material in a new way? Share. "I never noticed [thing] about [source material], but your writing really brought it out!"
Screaming about the pain and agony you're in, especially on whump, hurt/comfort, hurt/no comfort, and similar fics. Some authors are sadists. Let them know you're suffering (in that "oh hell it's so good it hurts" kind of way).
For chapters that end on a cliffhanger: Any screaming about how much the suspense is killing you and you can't wait for the next chapter. (Just remember not to demand the next chapter. "I'm so excited for the next chapter" = good / "You have to update right now or else" = bad.)
Is the fic now part of your official headcanon, right along with the source material? "From now own, this is as official canon to me as the original [book/show/movie]!"
Is the fic's title obvious, or is it a little mysterious? Ask if there's a secret meaning behind the title, or how the author decided on the title.
Ask the author if they have a favorite character, scene, chapter, etc. Depending on the fandom, this can be very specific (favorite weapon, attack, transformation, vehicle, horse, monster, etc.).
Is it smut? Did it make you hot? Trust me, smut authors want to know.
"This [chapter/fic] was so good, I feel like I need a smoke after it."
Is there a mystery that's absolutely boggling your brain? Share your theories! (YES: "Oh, what if Prince Smidgeon is actually killer?"). Just remember to never cross the line into telling the author what to do (NO: "You should make it so Prince Smidgeon is the killer.")
"I wish I could give you a kudos for each word in this [fic/chapter], it's just that good!"
Do you like making art? Ask the author if you can make fanart of their fic!
IF, and ONLY IF, the author has very clearly requested concrit (constructive criticism), then role up your sleeves and get to work putting together truly helpful, supportive criticism. Get started with this guide here.
Do you have other suggestions for this list?
Reblog with your favorite comments to give or receive!
(Tumblr insists on re-starting the list at 1 after the cut and I have no idea how to fix it??? It really is 40, I promise.)

Kisame Week 2023 Rules & FAQS 🦈
What is Kisame Week?
Kisame week is a week that we dedicate to our favorite shark man! Whether you'd like to make art to celebrate or write fics about him, anything goes! Just as long as what you post is your own work, the world is your oyster. If you have permission from the artist to repost for this specific event, that's okay too!
How do I participate?
Check out this guide for how to participate.
Is there a limit to how many prompts I can do?
Nope! You can do all or just one, two in one day, whichever! If you want to combine prompts be our guest! The only rule is that if you combine prompts, they have to be for the same day. We want to make sure the specified content gets the spotlight.
How many prompts will there be?
21 in total! We will be hosting three for every day of the week with a bonus "any au' day!
What does "Any AU" mean?
"Any AU" refers to any alternate universe you can think of! Modern AU, College AU, Mob AU, etc. Since we ask everyone for prompt submissions, you can guess the amount of AUs are suggested, so we usually just group any and all AUs in this category. If you need inspiration for this category, check this list for the ideas that people submitted.
How should I interpret the prompts?
Any way you'd like! The prompts are to spark inspiration, so go wild! Just make sure that Kisame is at the center of them!
Are prompts going to be ship based?
They are not going to be ship based. It's more along the lines of an idea like a word or a phrase or a scenario, and you create content based on that. If you want to write a non-romantic Kisame-centric piece, that is totally welcome!
What pairings are welcome?
All ships including Kisame are welcome! As long as the characters in question are of age, everything is accepted. This includes non ships, × Reader, × OC ships, and childhood aus as well. If you want to keep it platonic, that's okay too! Just remember that if someone doesn't share the same idea as you, it's okay to take a breath and move on.
Is there a word limit for fics?
Not at all!! Write as little or as much as you'd like for any of the prompts!
How dark can the content be?
As long as everything is tagged correctly and the rating is appropriate, as dark as you want. We don't want to put very much limitation as to how much freedom creators can have. Whatever you feel comfortable making is fine for us:)
Can I submit art and fic?
Of course you can! You can do the same prompt with art and fic, you can do one prompt with art and the other with fic, or you can do either or and switch off.
There are no limitations for how much you'd like to contribute.
I saw something about a Discord Link but I can't find it. Where can I find it?
Right here!
Are you accepting late entries?
Yes we are up until the 31st of August! Feel free to post your stuff by then :)

why do i like dark stuff?
A little while ago I received an anonymous ask that I won't be publishing, because the way it was phrased suggests it was asked in bad faith (think "Have you stopped beating your wife?"). The question essentially boiled down to "Why are you into [works featuring] a horrible thing?".
I am generally a very open person, and normally wouldn't mind waxing philosophical about why my mind is twisted the way it is, but the thing is, it doesn't actually matter.
The way I see it, what we engage with in works of fiction, both as writers and readers, is akin to roleplaying.
For instance, when I write or read stories featuring rape, that's functionally no different from playing out a force fantasy with a partner. Assuming a story has been outfitted with appropriate tags and warnings, everyone involved have given their informed consent - because the characters in the story? Those are fictional.
No actual real people are being subjected to any kind of violation or abuse in the content I enjoy.* And writing or reading about abuse does not equate to condoning it.
Now, I understand that it can be upsetting to find that the creator of something you enjoy also creates or engages with works that you find morally repugnant (or even just a bit icky). Truly! I get it. But the thing is, dealing with your feelings about what other people consent to do with one another (as writers and readers of these stories) really isn't their responsibility. It's yours.
If you find the mere existence of a certain kind of story so triggering or upsetting as to feel abused yourself, you may want to look into the many ways you can filter and hide stories from AO3 so you won't be exposed to them. People who are into darkfic of all kinds are generally extremely aware that what we enjoy is often upsetting/triggering to others, and we're good at using tags and warnings to make sure no one who doesn't want to see our work will read it by accident.
Like I said at the beginning of this post, I am not going to attempt to justify "why" I like the things I do, but I do want to say one thing on that topic: the psychology behind why people are into these kinds of things is incredibly complex, and as far as I know, science has barely begun to scratch the surface. Most people don't know why they kink the way they do. But please bear in mind that some who are into darkfic are using it as a way of processing their own traumatic experiences of abuse of various kinds. And if I were one of those people, being put on the spot with an anonymous demand that I explain and justify myself publicly would probably not help.
Finally, to the anon who sent the ask: If you are genuinely curious and did not mean to attack me - if you are prepared to actually listen to my answer - reach out to me in private and we'll talk.
* In fact, I'm so damn sensitive I can't even watch BDSM porn from reputable sources with actor interviews and all, because of the constant niggling worry that maybe, just maybe they're not into it after all.

re: writing characters who use AAC devices
so, I'm writing a yakuza thing where everyone is a pro wrestler and most of them are queer and/or disabled and/or neurodivergent, and at some point my brain went like "what if we made So Amon nonverbal who uses AAC device" (there's something about the Amons not being voiced (with the exception of Jo in 6, so he's semi-verbal) that made me go like "!!!!!!"). The first time So spoke I used something along the lines of "They hear a voice coming out of So's device", followed by what So's saying. And then in next segments I'm planning to refer to it as just "So said". That felt like most appropriate, because while I could have *characters* characterize the voice as "robotic", doing so in author speech felt wrong, and not everyone know what AAC device is (characters AND readers alike) so it felt best to leave it at "device" and elaborate later
(for context: I'm disabled and neurodivergent, but not nonverbal)
i love you--
HEHEHE yeah that's!! exactly how i think it should be done :) i think if you would describe, say for example, the way someone's voice is wavering, or how they pause to think - then it's fair to do the same with AAC, like describing the process of typing, if they're tapping angrily, slowly, etc. but for the actual dialogue tags, yeah, i prefer seeing/using just the same as everyone else gets, unless there's a narrative reason like highlighting the character's own feelings.
i think one important thing to establish about the device itself is whether it's word-based or picture-based; picture-based is what i use, since it supports my kind of difficulties best - on a day i've had a seizure or something i can't remember even basic words, so i can't just type them out. word-based is basically the same as typing on any regular device, but (often) with features specifically designed for retrieval of words and phrases and of course, reading them aloud
an example of picture-based in japanese is something like this:
Tumblr media
where i'd... assume? each of these is a folder leading into other buttons, rather than buttons on their own, because... well, 8 buttons communicates almost nothing. picture-based AAC should be able to communicate as much as any speaking person can with their voice - that includes vulgarity if they so choose, and especially includes anatomical words like penis. (there are actually people who think this is controversial. i hate those people!)
here on the other hand is a japanese word-based AAC device:
Tumblr media
i couldn't tell you what all of these buttons do LMAO but it looks like you spell your words out by kana, you have the dakuten and handakuten to modify, and i'm assuming the 小 allows for the typing of small kana for combinations like ぴょ
customisability between AAC devices can really differ with the program - the one i use has a collection of like... maybe 40 or 50 different english voices, in a variety of accents and ages, both male and female, and i can change the colour palettes and pictures for pretty much everything, but some will have more limits; especially the word-based above, i'm not really sure how that would be customisable. still, that can add some fun character too, in that a man could choose to use a female voice, or they might use cute character images in place of the default for words like "eat" and "happy".
...i went on a whole ramble hehehe.

Okay, I decided to suck it up and make a blog for this, so I might as well use it. I'm not tagging any of this, so I'm not sure if anyone is ever even going to find and read it, but I wanted to write stuff down to clear my mind and this seemed as good a place for it as any.
This is basically a side blog for alterhuman-related things.
I've identified as broadly alterhuman for a while now, mostly because it felt like less pressure than identifying as otherkin or trying to nail down a specific, more accurate label.
I guess I'll use my first post to try to explain how I am currently conceptualizing my identity.
I see myself in three parts, I guess. Not in a plural way, as different people, but more like three of the same person in the same place and time, but different somehow. Like seeing someone through a prism, or like tapping into the same version of yourself in different realities. I don't know if that makes sense.
In one universe, I'm an autdhd, nonbinary human adult. This is the one most people see, and it's me as much as anything else is.
In another universe, I'm a nature spirit, or something similar which does not have a name and has never needed one. I'm mostly humanoid, I think, with grey feathered wings and curving horns. I have a much looser connection to physical reality than humans do, and can slip into and out of physicality as naturally as breathing. I have a Place, a home I am connected to and protect and nourish. I do not believe I interact much with others like me, but I am not lonely. The place itself is my company, and the creatures within it, and my sense of time is stretched and settled. I am not restless.
In another universe, I'm the Doctor. Mostly like in the show, but not necessarily exactly according to canon. I'm aroace, in all realities, and in places the show stretches thin around this. There are other things too that I think are more obviously the product of creating a piece of entertainment with writers and actors than an accurate reflection of me and my life, but I think it's mostly got the gist of it.
The only universe I have access to is this one, in which I'm living and writing a blog post on Tumblr. But it feels like the others are out there. I don't feel like my alterhuman stuff is past lives, or misplaced souls. It feels more like lives I'm living together, but just can't quite reach. It's not even necessarily in parallel - I think it's more accurate to say that it feels like something outside time.
I'm actually not sure if I favour a spiritual explanation for this or a psychological one. I think it's a bit of both. I think, logically, that it's probably psychological and related to being autistic, but in daily life I mostly end up thinking about it as though it's real, and that means treating it on spiritual terms. I don't know if they have to contradict.
I don't have strong memories of anything happening Elsewhere. I just have impressions and feelings and reactions. My beliefs and identities aren't built on evidence so much as they are the natural result of my experiences, until it made more sense to identify this way than not. It felt like I drifted to and from this conclusion until eventually I reached a tipping point, where I could choose to keep ignoring it or move forward, and I chose the latter.
So here I am. I'm feeling kind of pretentious and poetic today, hence the phrasing, but I'm not always this melodramatic in my writing style. Probably.
I'll probably post here from time to time, when I have something I want to work through, or something I want to get out of my head and into words that can better contain it. I'll probably talk more about being the Doctor than about the nature spirit stuff, because that's the identity that's newer and causing more Complicated Feelings.
I'm not tagging my posts anywhere because I'm not sure what the etiquette is and which tags are appropriate, but if you do somehow stumble across my blog, feel free to interact!
This is a sideblog because I'm very private about these things normally, so if you think you know my main, no you don't.

Belphegor Appreciation Week 2023
(The post that started this)
Don't think I forgot! I saw some interest on the last post so let's do this! Let's make March 5-11 2023 Belphegor Appreciation Week!
That means for the week of March 5th until Belphie's birthday on the 11th, I'm encouraging the obey me fandom to post fics, art, edits, playlists, screenshots, etc. about our favourite bratty cowboy!
I'll be providing daily prompts below but feel free to use as many or as few of them as you want, when you want!
Tag your stuff #belphie appreciation week 2023 and @ me if you really want me to see and reblog what you make! I'll do my best go through the tag but you know how tumblr's search function is, so @'s might be more effective
If you don't/won't/can't make something for it yourself but still want to participate, consider liking and especially reblogging works you see and like! Go through the tag, send requests to blogs that have them open, shout out your favourite artists/writers, etc.
I'm not going to put any hard limits on content for this, but I ask that you tag anything you make appropriately, especially if it's NSFW or deals with sensitive subject matter. Also know that as a grey-ace I'll probably be pickier about what nsfw content I reblog, so don't take it personally (your-kink-is-not-my-kink-etc-etc)
I'll reblog this post once we get closer to the actual week and probably make a separate post with a copy of the prompt list but for now here are the tentative daily prompts under the cut:
I've given both one-word and phrase/sentence prompts for those who like more freedom and those who like more specific jumping off points. Again, no need to follow these, go wild!
March 5th: Cow-boy | Demon form/demonic traits - for the monsterfuckers/lovers :)
March 6th: Circus | Belphegor out in the human world
March 7th: Family | Belphie spending time with his family, what does family mean to him?
March 8th: Attic | Belphegor in the attic, when why and how is up to you :))
March 9th: Mischief | What's That Cowboy Up To Now?
March 10th: Stargaze | Belphegor loves astronomy and has a moon/sun thing going on with Beel, would sure be a shame if someone were to... do something with that...
March 11th: Birthday | Happy Birthday, Belphie! (Free space)

Just brief thoughts on a certain webtoon getting an adaptation in the near future.
Tumblr media
I'm not going to use the actual tag for the work, since I don't want to start any fights with people who genuinely enjoy it, but holy FUCK this is one of the worst things I've ever experienced. I read up to ch35, and this is like some of the most incelly shit imaginable (and I hear it's like the most mild of the entire genre of whatever this shit is.)
It's basically if someone just took OPM but spun it to be some cynical, misanthropic shit with some sprinklings of like weird Nietzschean? "capitalist actualization" bullshit (I don't know if that's a real phrase, but it feels appropriate.) I looked into a bit more just spoiling myself, and I would imagine this would be like, the foundation for some sort of tragic story, in terms of like otaku-adjacent media, Eren Jaeger's whole schtick or something, but LOL
Tumblr media
I'm genuinely curious to see what the mainstream will think of this once the adaptation drops, assuming it'll be some major talked-about thing. I don't even feel that strongly on it all things being said, but I'm just kind of baffled it has the reputation it does, since I'm someone who genuinely enjoys a lot of shonen works.
After witnessing how bad this misanthropic garbage is even early on, again I'm just absolutely baffled. I get most people just enjoy it for like "WHOA EPIC FIGHT" or whatever, but why can't it just be like a chill time or like, not have some weird incel thematic garbage?

a quick word on content warnings
cw: mentions of eating disorders, body issues and self harm, none of it in depth
first of, many thanks to all you new people who followed me on here and liked/reblogged my art! <3 i thought i'd write a post about how i use content warnings for you folks.
my content is kinda edgy. some of my drawings and oc stories touch on some pretty heavy stuff. i also love drawing gore and horror art. i like my blorbos covered in blood, okay.
i do my best to tag sensitive topics. i mostly use just the word as a tag, so if i were to, for example, post a realistic drawing of a spider, i'd tag it as #spiders.
the one exception for this is #cw underweight because i feel like the tag without the "cw" in front is often used by posts glorifying eating disorders. i use this tag for nude drawings of a vampire oc who looks like a severely emaciated corpse. i do not condone putting content warnings on people's body types / bodies, but as my nude drawings of this character are kind of meant to be ~about~ their body issues, i feel like it's appropriate to put a content warning on them in this specific case. phrased differently: the content warning is for the vibe of the drawing, not the body type...
for the same reason, i tag self harm scars only when they're the thematic focus of a drawing. i then use #self harm. it's important to me not to reinforce the idea that people with scars have to tag pictures of themselves just because.
i try to tag non-sexual nudity as #nudity, but if you can't really see much i might not bother. i tag excessive blood, gore and injuries as #gore, but i don't tag minor amounts of blood like a nose bleed, a bleeding anime mouth or a shallow cut.
i will use tumblr's new community label function when applicable.
i post my spicy art on my nsfw twitter account postarocalyptic. there's gore, monsterfuckery, kink and dark content there, so please proceed with caution.
...all of this sounds like i only draw depressing stuff all day long! that's not true. i mostly just draw my ocs kind of just standing there to be honest. most of this post will only very rarely be relevant i think, but i wanted to give you all a heads up so you can make informed decisions. except for the gore. there will definitely be gore.

"What's so different with Y/n? Did your overconfident ass just suddenly disappears once she's involved?"
Polnareff flailed his arms around in the air, making a "shh" noise at the 17 year old. "Oi, Jotaro! We're only like, 15 feet away from the cafe! If you say it so loudly, she's gonna hear!"
Jotaro rolled his eyes, huffing out smoke from his cigarette shortly after. "You're being overdramatic."
Polnareff began to turn red. "I just don't wanna ruin what I have with her, y'know?" he said, angrily taking a puff from his cigarette.
"She seems like she likes you. Have you seen the scared look she gives me whenever I call her name?"
The French man grunted. "Gahh, that's different, Jotaro. Anyone would be terrified of you."
Jotaro shrugged. "Give it a shot. You might not have another chance."
"Can't believe I'm listening to a stupid teenager," Polnareff mumbled, stomping on the remainder of his cigarette. "Alright, alright. I'll see how it goes."
* * *
As the day went by, Jotaro watched poor Polnareff attempt to woo you over, failing every single time. Jotaro-- being as observant as he was-- knew that you showed a clear attraction to the man. You weren't vocal about it, but anyone (excluding Polnareff) could notice your attraction to him. Polnareff was just a bit unfamiliar with pining for a quieter, shier person like you.
"Maybe women just don't like you," Kakyoin teased, looking straight at Polnareff.
"Well, Mr. Playboy over here told me he thinks she does! Didn't you, Jotaro?" Polnareff nudged his elbow at the 17 year old.
Jotaro sighed, mumbling his signature phrase afterwards. "She's expecting you to confess to her, not say corny lines. She's timid, so just be honest with your feelings once she returns from the bathroom."
"Ironic, coming from you." Polnareff crossed his arms. "What's taking her so long anyway? Avdol and Joseph are already back⎯⎯ the hell would she still be needing to do?"
Kakyoin put his hand to his mouth, letting out an awkward cough. "I don't think those kinds of comments are appropriate, Polnareff, especially when-"
You staggered out of the ladies' bathroom, holding your arm with your opposite hand. Your breathing was sporadic and you were scattered with cuts on your face. The stance to your walk was crooked⎯⎯ similar to a broken wind-up toy. While you made your way to the group, the crusaders looked at you with shock, wondering who could've done this to you.
"Y-Y/n!" Polnareff yelled, running over to help you stand. "Who did this?"
Immediately, the entire group summoned their stands and looked around to see any potential enemies.
"I don't know, but it doesn't matter. They ran away, probably won't be returning anytime soon, though," you huffed out. "This really hurts, God..."
Joseph deactivated Hermit Purple and ran up to you, putting a hand up against your cheek. "I don't think a first aid kit is gonna fix you up right now. We're gonna take you to the hospital, alright?"
You nodded. "A-Alright.."
Joseph smiled down at you before getting up to speak with the other crusaders. "By the looks of it, Y/n might only need to be in the hospital for a few days, max," he said. "We don't need everyone to come, so I'll take her alone. The rest of you, keep an eye out."
They all gave a thumbs-up, but you objected.
"Could... Polnareff come?" you asked, slightly slurring your words.
"I don't-" Joseph looked back at Polnareff who was blushing intensely from your suggestion. "Sure, sure."
You smiled and grabbed onto Polnareff, which helped you walk to the car. Joseph jumped into the front seat and started the engine. Before he could press on the gas, you looked out the window and waved at the other crusaders. Once they waved back, you sighed and leaned on the glass window of the car, feeling the car move after.
"Do you want to lean on me?" Polnareff suggested, slightly blushing. "The window's going to be uncomfortable."
You nervously fiddled your fingers and nodded. "Thank you," you murmured.
"Ah, it's no big deal!" Polnareff smiled.
You scooted a seat over and relaxed onto Polnareff's arm. His muscles were firm, but still soft enough to work as a pillow. Normally, you'd be more embarrassed to do these kinds of things, but you were exhausted from a stand fight that your mind loosened up.
You relaxed your body on him, then slightly directed your eyes up to Polnareff. Because the whole group was moving around all day, Polnareff's hair slowly started to fall from its usual style. Fringes of his hair began to cover his eyes and nose, causing him to blow it out of his face. You let out a giggle, catching Polnareff's attention.
"Is something funny?" the French man said, a slight grin on his face.
"No..." You smiled and put a finger up to his cheek before twirling a few strands of his hair with your finger. "Your hair... it's so soft. I think you look cute like this."
"H-Huh?" Polnareff stuttered.
You immediately put your hand away, realizing the bold move you'd just done. "Ah, sorry!"
"No, no. It's completely alright." He took your hand back and placed it against his cheek. "It's fine, I like it."
You smiled as your eyes stared into his. Polnareff's pupils began to dilute the more you looked at him, as did yours.
"You two good back there?" Joseph asked, looking at the rearview mirror.
"Everything's great, Mr. Joestar!" Polnareff yelped. "Everything's great. Right, Y/n?"
You calmly dug your fingers into Polnareff's hair and nodded. "Y-Yes! Everything's perfect."

Let's talk about concrit!
First, to be clear: I am against unsolicited concrit.
I have worked as both a professional writer and a professional editor. It has literally been my job to be open to and accepting of criticism, and to provide high-quality constructive criticism that helps other writers grow.
I understand how important objective criticism is for improving a writer's skill.
And I still think unsolicited concrit is unhelpful at best and harmful at worst.
But, let's pretend we're in a situation where fanfic concrit is appropriate.
(That situation being: The author has explicitly requested it.)
Here's are a few tips for providing concrit that will actually encourage an author and help them grow, specifically for scenarios where concrit is being provided via a comment (such as on a work on AO3) where the commenter doesn't already have a close/established relationship with the author:
The 10-Minute Rule
Perhaps you've heard of the 5-second rule for commenting on someone's appearance? "Don't criticize another person's appearance if they can't fix it in 5 seconds or less."
Basically: Food stuck in teeth? Toliet paper stuck to shoe? Tag showing? Fly is down? Gently, privately let them know. Bigger issues (like someone's weight, scars, acne, etc.) that cannot be fixed in 5 seconds or less should not be commented on.
For concrit via comments, I think there should be an equivalent 10-minute rule: "Don't criticize another person's already published material if they can't fix it in 10 minutes or less."
Basically: Typos? Weird phrases, spots of poor grammar, confusing sentences, etc.? Gently let them know. (Again, assuming a scenario in which the author has clearly asked for concrit.)
But bigger issues that require a partial or full chapter re-write -- or re-working multiple chapters? Coming from someone who is essentially a random internet commenter (especially if it's your first comment!), that's most likely going to result in the author feeling bad, frustrated, or defeated. Remember, a lot of authors write fics well in advance, so a major change in Chapter 5 might not just mean re-writing Chapter 5… it might mean major re-writes for 20+ unpublished chapters as well.
These deeper conversations belong between the author and someone they have built trust in (friends, long-time fans, beta readers, editors, co-authors, etc.), ideally before a work has been published.
Even if you have something helpful to say, you might not be the right person to say it. Think deeply about your prior relationship with the author. Do you know how they will react to challenging feedback? If you don't know the answer, you probably don't know the author well enough to deliver that type of feedback.
Positive vs. Negative Feedback
Supposedly the ideal praise-to-criticism ratio is 5:1, or basically 5 compliments are needed to balance out 1 criticism.
In other words, if you want your comment to be received as overall positive, you need to have most of your comment be complimentary.
Too often, I see "concrit" that is 90% or 100% criticism, and all I can think is -- what reason has this commenter given for the author to give their thoughts any weight? At that point, it can come across as if you hate what you're reading. And why should authors care what haters have to say about their works? What author thinks a hater is actually going to help them improve?
Remember, random internet commenter: The author doesn't know you at all, they can't see inside your head and discover whether you're loving or hating a fic, and they have no reason to listen to you at all unless you go out of your way to provide that reason.
Unless you've built up a relationship with them (ex: readers who comment on every fic and every chapter, and/or have previously engaged in lengthy discussions with the author), you're literally some internet rando. You need to prove your worth and good intent if you want your concrit to be taken seriously (or at all).
[If the idea that you need to prove your worth and good intent before you can deliver concrit makes you angry -- you shouldn't be delivering concrit to anyone, at all, ever, in any scenario. Even in a professional environment, when I am a writer's direct supervisor and they have to listen to my feedback because their job literally depends on it, I still feel it's a necessary step to establish my worth (at work, this is my skillset, past experience, and expertise) and good intent before I deliver any type of feedback.]
Now, I've heard a lot of authors say they hate the sandwich technique (compliment, criticism, compliment) because it's overdone and obvious, so I'm not saying you need to "sandwich" your criticism. It's totally fine to frontload your compliments (shove them all at the beginning).
Easy and effective compliments include:
I love how you described [character, thing, scene]
It was awesome when [thing] happened because it made me feel [emotion]
The interactions between [Character A] and [Character B] are amazing to read
You've really captured the essence of [Character]
HAPPY SQUEEING DONE IN ALL CAPS!! EEEEEE I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!
Quote a sentence or passage you enjoyed, and explain why you enjoyed it
Personal Preference vs. Authorial Intent
Too often, I see commenters claiming their feedback is "concrit" when it's really just a difference of opinion with the author. This is especially common with "concrit" that focuses on less on writing technique and more on plot, character relationships, character development, etc.
For example, anything along the lines of "instead of [X event] happening, it would have worked better if [Y event] happened instead."
Good concrit helps the author achieve their goal.
Do you know the author's goal? Do you know what story they're trying to tell? The mood and tone they're trying to achieve? The character relationships they're trying to develop? The direction they want the character development to go in?
Are they trying to stay compliant with canon, or are they purposefully breaking canon? Is it their intention for a character to be in-character, or is their goal to make them behave out-of-character? Is that actually a plot hole, or is the author leveraging an unreliable narrator?
If you don't know the answers to all of these questions, your "concrit" about the plot may just be a difference in personal preference -- and there's nothing constructive about that. Keep it to yourself, discuss with fellow readers in a private space (read: not the comments!), blog about it, etc., but don't share it directly with the author.
In many cases, the author may have made a plot or character choice that you disagree with because they are trying to achieve a specific goal, and your "concrit" is actually counterproductive to achieving that goal -- and it does not matter at all if you agree with the author's goal, because it's not your work. It's the author's work. They have ultimate, unilateral say on what the goal is.
Precision
Good concrit is specific, supported, and actionable.
For example: "You have some mispelled words" is not good concrit. Meanwhile, "I noticed you misspelled 'mischief' as 'mischeef' -- I think this might be a typo!" is good concrit. The author knows exactly what is wrong, why it's wrong, and how to fix it.
Here's another example: BAD: "The pacing is slow and boring." GOOD: "I noticed the pacing is a little slow in your opening paragraph, because you repeat several descriptions. For example, you say 'the children played happily in the field' in the second sentence, and 'the kids were frolicking joyously in the field' in the fourth sentence, but these convey the same information to the reader. If you had one or the other, this might tighten things up."
Once again, the "good" concrit explains what is wrong, why it's wrong, and how to fix it.
Remember: A list of everything you find wrong with a fic, without any clear action steps on how to fix them, is never concrit.
Word Choice
When delivering concrit, choose words that build authors up, not tear them down.
For example, I once had a reader who told me that something that happened in my fic "felt awkward and grade-schoolish."
They later explained that this was their attempt at "concrit."
It was not concrit. It was just crit. (Not even good crit; really just an insult.)
The actual concrit version of this is probably something like "I had trouble understanding the motivations of the two characters in this scene. I didn't notice any foreshadowing of [thing], so it felt like it came out of nowhere and it didn't seem to fit with the [Character A's] personality as it's been presented so far. Was this supposed to be a surprise that came out of left field, or was it supposed to feel like a natural development? If the latter, I'd be happy to point out some spots where foreshadowing might work."
(Notice this follows the earlier rule of precision: It describes what is wrong, why it's wrong, and provides a potential fix.)
When delivering concrit, choose words that are positive or neutral. If it sounds like an insult, it'll probably be taken as an insult. For example, calling something "grade-schoolish" in any context other than an author writing about a literal grade school is likely going to be taken as an insult.
Avoid words that have primarily negative connotations (things like: cringe, cringy, flimsy, cheap, gross, trite, childish, boring). Including insults in your concrit completely invalidates the "constructive" part.
Betas
If you are really, truly interested in helping an author improve and you think you have the skillset to do so, you can always volunteer to be their beta! This is a simple and easy statement: "If you're ever looking for a beta reader, I would love to be one."
Beta'ing is where the big fixes can and should take place -- finding issues with plot, pacing, character development, etc., before works are published.
In Conclusion
The truth of the matter is that good concrit is really, really hard to deliver -- it takes a lot of time, effort, and skill.
The harder truth is that the vast majority of readers are not equipped to provide high-quality concrit. So before you start typing out that "concrit," ask yourself:
Is this actually concrit, or am I just making a list of things I find wrong with the work?
Is this actionable feedback with clear, specific steps the author can take to improve their work?
Am I providing more compliments than criticism, so that my comment is more positive than negative?
Am I delivering the message in a kind and supportive manner, using neutral or positive terms, and careful not to include any phrases that might be taken as insult or put-down?
Can each of the identified points be fixed/resolved by the author in 10 minutes or less?
Do I fully understand the author's goal for this work? Is my feedback purposefully designed to help them better achieve that goal?
Really good concrit is a lot of work -- almost as much work as writing a fic (in some cases: more). Unless you're putting that level of time and effort into your concrit, it's probably not actually concrit.
And if you're ever unsure if an author wants concrit on a topic?
Ask.
Don't just deliver the concrit.
"Hey, I have some concrit regarding [topic], would you like me to share?"
Then respect the author's answer, even if it's not the answer you wanted to hear -- especially if it's not the answer you wanted to hear.
And if you're an author getting unsolicited, unwelcome "concrit"?
Try giving them "concrit" on their comments. I've started doing this, and I'm continually amused by the number of people who have no problem giving me "concrit" on a chapter I spent hours writing and editing, but who have total meltdowns when I give them "concrit" on the comment they spent 5 minutes slapping together.
But it has been highly effective at reducing how much unsolicited concrit I receive.
Happy writing!

your #i know that's right tag is undoubtedly one of my favorite blog-specific tags to peruse when i am feeling sad. even if it's a post i have seen before, i get to hear a voice in my head say "i know that's right!" this time around and it makes me happier
THANK U. like every phrase that comes out of my stupid little mouth, i'm pretty sure i picked it up from @rubdown who is my angel and my idol. everything good on the internet comes from her.
i got your ask last night and i was thinking about it all day because i do use "i know that's right" consistently, but i do also use "correct" but there's an extreme difference to when it's appropriate to use i KNOW that's right!!! and when it's appropriate to us a snappy little CORrect but i can't put my finger on it. i KNOW it when i see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TIL that Audrey Plaza's "transphobia" was a joke about making up any rumours so how about she has a penis? in an interview in a European magazine once. She also has had two strokes and is socially awkward. I like her now.
That Lindsay Ellis' "racism" was comparing raya and avatar for their mishmash cultural approach and *not* talking about the Quileute's mistreatment in her Twilight hate fits a pattern of teen girl's interests being cringe to society because she didn't feel qualified to speak on it and it was a short form video.??? Dxllxghful I understand how she was asked certain specific things for years and didn't do them (and her apology video was tacky but that's besides the point)
I'm going to need people to use qualifiers because receipts are really hard to find. I want to trust folks but there is a difference between this person is racist (donates to the right and believes iq is genetic for example) and this person is not in tune with the racial intersections of feminism (made a video about twilight without a mention of the appropriation and desecration of Quileute culture), there are a few people i follow that i just can't trust anymore to give an honest assessment. Because we've got legit benevolent and malevolent bigots put in the same box as people who are still working on being better people who said something mildly off colour or badly phrased once. By those rules I'm racist, transphobic, anti prono and deeply ableist. And since I'll double down on my usage of 'crip' which can be both racist and ableist. You can consider me bad forever.
I don't want to unfollow anyone yet but I'm going to need people to think twice about reblogging callouts unless there's nuance or the receipts are present so we can decide for ourselves if that's offensive or just something inconsiderate. People I thought were ableist and could distress me, turns out they believe in chronic illness and mental illness but use the term cray cray and language isn't a deal breaker for me, attitude is. I want to be among fellow lefties and tag for correct triggers but I need nuance and honesty in my life. If you're likely to drop me for a mistake, let me know now. If you're going to miscategorize people who don't show patterns of behaviour and are essentially not the enemy, i'd like to set boundaries. I'm ND and have hyper honesty that I'm working on mitigating constantly, to be polite and protect myself but it also means I feel strongly about being misled and getting the most accurate information possible to the point of pedantry. That means I spent an hour explaining in detail how mga left hayden williams between a rock and a hard place not just MGAe bad. I don't know what I'm trying to say except I'm messy and sick of being scared of messing up further. And I'd like clarity from the people I trust not just blanket statements, by all means point out the terfs but don't say i dunno that Anthony Mackie is a homophobe because he word saladed about FatWS.

Top 5 (or 10) tags you’re glad you’ve blocked?
i love this. i have so many things blocked. not actually any tags but words blacklisted, so i'll go with that.
ofmd / our flag means death - i blacklist a lot of media/fandoms but i point out this one specifically because i learned about its existence and decided i needed to block it within the space of like, an hour of each other. i already have a really low tolerance for hype, i just really can't handle how everywhere it is right now. glad you guys are having fun with the pirates and stuff but i can't.
fuck(ed) your mom - speaking of things i have a low tolerance for, it's jokes where the punchline is "i had sex with your (property) woman" and boy does tumblr love these fuckin jokes. so i've got a few variations on this blocked. get a better sense of humor you dummies.
l*ca m*rinelli / n*cky - yeah sorry l*ca. abstractly i'm fine with him, and i have no problem with him as an actor in a movie i love. but fandom's obsession with him and everything about him has gotten to me. all other things get warped around him and it's just exhausting. when i came into the fandom (sorry i sound like such an old fart when i start in on this i know) i would see people complaining about people talking about booker too much but what i saw then was never as bad as how people talk about n*cky/l*ca now. so much so that i just decided to censor this because tumblr search can be sneaky, hah.
girlboss - it's not as bad as it used to be but this phrase was every goddamn where on this site a short while ago and oh my god stop using it, stop quoting that eric andre bit, stop all of this, godddddd. have critiques about capitalism and corporations coopting feminism that don't amount to 'when women do things it's problematic'
we're fucked / we are fucked / we're screwed / we are screwed - i got tired of the doomerism around the last US presidential election so i went on an aggressive blacklisting of various repetitive phrases and my experience of the site vastly improved. and it's still appropriate because people are still obsessively and performatively pessimistic and i can't handle it. this isn't me being a naive pollyanna, this is me trying to preserve what little mental health i have left. i can't live in this world with zero hope.
there's a lot more but some of them i just don't feel like getting into, mainly all the stuff i've had to block because this site is weird about veganism. but this is an adequate selection i think.
thank you 🖤
