a sleepy safe space

Genre/Tropes: Just a whole lot of fluffy cuddling and sleeping together. Sharing a bed I guess?

Summary: Five times you and Silver slept around each other.

“You’re not sleeping.”

You turned on your side to face Silver, his violet eyes wide open (surprisingly enough.)

“You aren’t either.” you murmured.

“I was watching you.” he breathed, eyelashes fluttering delicately, “I wanted to make sure you were okay. You were tossing and turning a lot.”

“Oh.” you sighed, rolling your body closer to his warmth. “I didn’t mean to disturb you.”

“It’s fine, you didn’t wake me up. I was already awake.” he replied, crooking his arm so you could rest your head on it like a pillow, “I don’t want to sleep until you do.”

“That’s sweet, but you need to rest too honey.” you whispered, nose pressed into the fabric of his shirt, “You have training tomorrow. I don’t want to keep you up.”

Silver hummed, using his other arm to pull you closer. Your brain felt hazy as the moonlight bathed your bodies, the sheer curtains in his room fluttering in the wind like a bridal veil. You looked back up at Silver only to see that his eyes had fallen shut. As you suppressed a giggle, you ran your fingers through his hair as his chest rose and fell.

How did you get so lucky?

There was no one quite like Silver in NRC or even in your own world. Nobody could give you as comfortable of a safe haven as he could, especially not in this hectic school where you were constantly under threat of Overblots or some arrogant student or even Crowley himself.

“Silly Silver.” you pressed a kiss to his forehead before allowing your own two eyes to slide shut, “I love you.”

“You’re here again?” he asked, looking surprised even though his voice was totally monotone.

“Yeah. I’m dead tired after all of the work I had to do for Crewel.” you mumbled, falling into Silver’s arms, “I need cuddles.”

“Okay. Let’s go get ready for bed.” he said, holding you close as he led you to the bathroom.

Picking up the toothbrush you’d left here a month ago was almost like second nature now from how much time you’d spent over at Diasomnia. A lot of the fae here weren’t too fond of the two human students, but since Silver belonged to this dorm and you were Malleus’s friend, they all held their tongue. (For the most part, Sebek never really did though.) You tried not to let it bother you, and Lilia and Malleus assured you that you were always welcome (Lilia typically cooing about how cute you and Silver were, the old man.)

As the two of you brushed your teeth, you found yourself growing sleepier and sleepier. Silver’s habits must have been rubbing off on you. You shook the sleepiness away as best as you could, leaning down to spit out the toothpaste and wash off your toothbrush. Turning to your lover, you were strike dumb by what you saw.

Silver had sat down on the toilet seat at some point and had fallen asleep. His toothbrush rested next to him, already washed off. You barely held back an affectionate laugh as you reached over to shake him away.

“Good morning, dear.” you joked as his eyes fluttered open, “Are you ready to head to class now?”

“Huh?” he murmured, rubbing his eyes sleepily, “Oh…I fell asleep. Sorry.”

“It’s okay honey. Today was a long day.” you chuckled, tucking a strand of hair behind his ear, “Let’s get you to bed, yeah?”

“Are you back to see Silver again?” Sebek gaped at you, staring as if you’d never been here to see Silver before.

“Yes. Had a bad day.” you grumbled, standing at Diasomnia’s door with a frown on your face, “Do you know where he is?”

“Human! You should know better than to interrupt Silver’s training! He’s training to defend the Young Master-”

“Uh huh, and I can see you’re also very devoted to that training.” you snarked, rolling your eyes, “Just tell me where he is.”

“No need. He’s in his room.” Lilia said, dropping down from the ceiling like a bat, “We finished up a little bit ago. He’s all yours.”

“Thank you, Lilia.” you smiled weakly.

“Wha- I am most definitely interested in my training! A human like you wouldn’t understand!” Sebek yelled, face flaming red.

You waved dismissively at him as you made your way to Silver’s dorm, intended to crash the second you got to his bed. The door swung open without any resistance, and the second your school bag hit the floor Silver popped his head out from under a pile of blankets.

“Oh. Hey.” he mumbled, reaching out to you with his right arm, “I was just napping. Do you want to join?”

“As if you even have to ask.” you replied, kicking the door shut.

He smiled a bit at that, smacking his hand against the bed until he found the edge of the sheets. The second he lifted them up, you flopped down next to him and encased yourself in the warmth underneath the sheets.

“You’re an angel.” you mumbled, burying your face into his chest as he wrapped an arm around your waist.

He said nothing in response, but the bright pink flush on his cheeks spoke for itself.

“Pssst.” you poked the side of his face, trying to wake him up, “Hey. Silver. I love you and all, but my arm is falling asleep.”

“Mm…Sorry. He mumbled, rolling off of your arm and onto the desk, face squished against the wood.

Trein didn’t seem to notice either of you whispering away as he called on Sebek, who answered his question with a booming voice and far too much enthusiasm. You barely concealed a snort with a cough as Trein turned back towards your side of the room, eyes brushing over you as if you weren’t even there. Normally you’d take this as a snub because of your lack of magic, but today you were just thankful because that meant he’d ignore the sleeping Silver next to you, too.

“Hey, I didn’t say you had to stop using me as a pillow.” you whispered as you leaned closer to his ear, eyes still pinned on Trein as he wrote some important date on the chalkboard “We just need to adjust a little.”

“Oh.” he sighed, scooting closer and pressing his cheek against you, “Sorry.”

You didn’t respond, choosing to marvel at his beauty instead of destroying the moment. Silver’s eyes fluttered open at your silence, his brow furrowing in confusion as he looked up at you.

“Is something wrong?” he asked, placing a gentle hand on your knee.

“No, no. Nothings wrong. You’re just really pretty.” you chuckled, swooping down to kiss his forehead.

He immediately turned red, lips parted ever so slightly in surprise. His eyes flickered nervously away from your smiling face as he cleared his throat, slowly rising in his chair.

“I definitely can’t sleep now.” he mumbled, staring straight ahead with the most wobbly smile you’d ever seen him wear, “Um…do you know what war he’s talking about?”

His training had gone over today.

Silver was panting by the time it was over, his stomach growling with hunger. Sebek was standing tall beside him, hands clasped behind his back and his chest heaved with exertion. Lilia seemed pleased with their performance and released them with a wave of his hand. Sebek bowed to Lilia before marching off to the dining hall, Silver turning towards the dormitories.

He’d left his beloved all alone in his dorm room, without the cuddles they so desperately yearned for. He wiped the sweat off his forehead and released all the stress of the day in a single sigh, closing his eyes for a brief moment as he stalled in the middle of the courtyard.

He should get back to them as soon as possible.

Despite his exhaustion, his feet carried him back to his dorm quicker than ever before. The promise of your love and the gentle white noise of his dorm made it seem like he hadn’t spent half the day training to be Malleus’s guard. If there was one thing he could appreciate you for more than anything, it was that you never saw him as an extension of Malleus like so many did because of Diasomnia’s reputation and his position with his Housewarden. You saw him as the human that grew up in a place known for its hatred of humans, the man that devoted his life to Malleus (and now you), and the one you could always run to if you ever had a problem.

Just the fact that you noticed him in the first place was nothing short of incredible.

He was Silver first, Malleus’s guard second.

Pressing his palm to his dormitory’s door, he heaved another sigh before entering.

“I’m back.” he murmured.

His eyes landed on your form in his bed, the bundle of blankets twisted up in your legs. His eyes widened just a bit when you snored, the sound so adorable that he couldn’t help but smile.

For once, you’d fallen asleep before him.

Silver took off his shoes, shedding his blazer before collapsing into bed with you. His arms found their place around your waist, and even in your sleep, you snuggled closer to him. Silver allowed his eyes to shut, and your breathing to lull him into dreamland where he knew he would dream of you again and again.

A few about the Great Seven interacting with Twisted Wonderland characters VIA Yuu. 👀 I only have one word summary; Chaos.

Who would meet the Great Seven first? Obviously the first years (along with Ortho and Grim). They’re Yuu’s best friends after all.

Actually, it was Friday, the last day of the week. And coincidentally, that night would be a special night at the House of Mouse. Ariel and her sisters would be performing that night.

Mickey told Yuu that that they could invite anyone to watch the performance. So Yuu went to get special permission to take their friends along with them.

After kidnapping Ortho After Yuu gathers everyone, they explain that they’re going out to see a special performance at their workplace.

Keep in mind that no one knows exactly what Yuu’s new job was except Grim and Crowley. So naturally everyone was in on it and curious. (Only Grim knows about Yuu meeting the Great Seven though)

Ace: So where do you work at?

Yuu: I work at a club.

Epel: ...As in a strip club or a book club?

Yuu: Wtf Epel? It’s like a club but no alcohol. It’s technically a restaurant but they have live shows and put on a lot of performances so-

Deuce: Oh! That’s cool, we get to see it together!

Yuu: Actually I’m not going to be with you guys. I’m on duty that day so I’ll be waiting tables. But I’ll join during break.

Ace: Really? Bummer.

Ortho: Aw, I wanted to hang out with you too! But it will be fun nonetheless. :D

Yuu tells them to wait downstairs as they go upstairs to get everything ready.

They are low-key nervous, because the House of Mouse isn’t...exactly normal by Twisted Wonderland standards.

Meanwhile, Grim was telling the first years about Yuu’s experiences there.

Grim: You know, the House of Mouse is really popular, I’ve heard about a lot of customers Yuu has met.

Deuce: This job must have been hard...I’m glad Yuu got it though!

Grim: Yeah, they pay them 5,000 madol! Isn’t that great?!

Sebek: 5,000 madol?! That’s a lot more than being a waiter.

Ace: In a week? I mean having a salary of 5,000 is pretty impressive.

Grim: Hehe, it’s actually 5,000 a day.

First Years: WHAT?!

Jack: To be able to pay that much...the owner must be wealthy.

Epel: Yuu lucked out!

When Yuu comes down, the first years are asking a billion questions.

How did you find a job with such a high pay??? Is the work good?? Is your boss nice to you?? Explain everything-

Yuu assured them that their job is just waiting a bunch of tables, and that they’re payed well because the place is very popular.

Anyways, Yuu tells them that they’re going now and leads them upstairs.

“Shouldn’t we be going to the hall of mirrors-?” “It won’t work.”

The group kind of loses their mind as Yuu casually pushes Ace into their mirror, Grim follows behind.

“Come on, or do I have to push you through the mirror like I did with Ace?”

Safe to say is that they go through the mirror and are greeted with a very lavish dressing room.

“Wait woah this isn’t Mickey’s dressing room.”

Yuu finds a note and read it out loud. Apparently Mickey moved the mirror to a new room so they could have privacy. Anything in the room is for their use.

“I’m going to cry. He’s so nICE I DON’T DESERVE THIS-“

Yuu is pretty happy with this arrangement, actually. They also begin to explain the club’s shtick to their friends.

“So this is basically a club for entertainment with live shows and also cartoons on the screen. Oh, and sometimes a cat named Pete tries to sabotage the show so he can kick everyone out and make this his club.” “Isn’t that illegal-“ “Not if there’s no police.”

So anyways Yuu leads them outside and they run into Goofy.

Sebek: Is that-?

Yuu: Hi Goofy, I’m bringing my friends to a table for the show-

Goofy: Yuu! There you are! You’re needed at table 14.

Yuu: What? But my shift hasn’t started-

Goofy: Reservations from Hades himself.

Yuu: Oh shit, ok yeah I’ll be there as soon as possible-

Ortho: Hades? As in the God of the Underworld?

Yuu: Yes, I’ll explain later, more importantly let’s go find you a table.

Ace: I think not telling us you actually met one of the GREAT SEVEN!

Yuu: I did tell you; and you didn’t believe me.

Everyone is vibrating in nervousness and excitement. Especially Ortho. I mean, this is the GREAT SEVEN we’re talking about!

Yuu decides to introduce them to Hades. But surprise surprise, it’s all of the Great Seven!

Yuu’s first year friends are going to pass out from shock. Oof.

With some inquiry, Yuu explains to the Great Seven that the friends they brought were from Twisted Wonderland.

Let’s just say that the First Years got invited to sit at their table. (Sebek is quaking at the idea of sitting with the Witch of Thorns)

So while Yuu leaves to start work (not after taking all of their orders first, of course), the Great Seven begin asking the first years + Grim questions.

The first years are expectantly tense, but they loosen up.

Ursula and Jafar are a little disappointed that no one from their dorm is present, but they seem to easily forget that after Yuu tells them that they know people from their respective dorms anyways.

Yuu also gives them a little more information they found about their respective dorms, so that they don’t feel...left out? (Satisfied is a better word for it)

Ursula pets Grim and Jafar feeds him crackers. Grim does not complain, he’s fine. He becomes more compliant as his tuna arrives.

And some of the other’s thoughts? Well...

The Queen of Hearts almost blew up in anger at Ace and Deuce. They are idiots that do nOT KNOW THE PROPER WAY TO SPEAK TO THEIR SUPERIORS AND THEY HAVE BROKEN AT LEAST 359 RULES ALREADY-

But somehow, the Queen of Hearts warms up to the idiotic duo. She sees them as...annoying children she has to babysit but they’re also really adorable that she can’t stay mad at them forever. Plus, Deuce is trying and Ace has these wonderful card tricks that would make her Jester cry.

So at first, she does not approve, but as the night progresses she does. 8/10 would meet the ADeuce combo again.

Scar and Jack...hm. Well, I don’t think they’d get along of Scar’s sense of morality and justice of the past was brought up. However, the villains all agreed to not bring up their villainous past because they didn’t want to scare away Yuu/make them wary and distrustful of them. Same goes for the first years.

Anyways, Scar is impressed at how buff Jack is. He isn’t surprised though - he expected residents of his dorm to be powerful. Scar lays down some well deserved praise and Jack eats it up with a tail wag. Jack also talks about his dorm and what the dorm represents. Scar’s ego rises 100x and Scar becomes somewhat...egotistical. Well, maybe not like in a “I’m shoving my ego in your face” type of ego but in a “This pleases me and I will treat you kinder” ego.

Basically, Scar opens up a little more to Jack as the night progresses. Like a mentor/student bond.

The Evil Queen and Epel...well, the Evil Queen was quite picky with how Epel was acting. Yes, he had the proper posture but really, he was using the wrong forks to eat that particular kind of food. She expected better from someone who came from her dorm. So she ended up chastising him and scolding him for being “improper”. Like Vil.

She was shocked to say when Epel accidentally snapped back at her, before returning to his more “princely” persona. Ah, so the child had more than meets the eye. She tried a different approach, as in trying to ease Epel into talking to her. Certainly, Epel was much more headstrong and willful than that naive Snow White.

So, the Evil Queen and Epel have a rocky start, but by the end of the show.

Hades and Ortho...well, that’s a combo you never see everyday. But I think Hades would basically adopt Ortho. As in suddenly he gets father vibes from the kid. He’s also particularly interested in his own dorm, and asks Ortho about it. Ortho’s pretty chatty with Hades, and is happy to tell Hades about his dorm! He also asks a few questions himself; which Hades happily obliged to.

...and then it turns into Ortho talking about Idia and how wonderful he is. And Hades is like, “damn, this kid has a wonderful big brother. How come my younger siblings act like shit to me-“

So Hades silently swore to the River of Styx to keep this child safe, and Ortho had a fun time interacting with Hades!

Sebek and Maleficent...well, it could have been worse.

Poor Sebek was tense and tight lipped for most of the night. He really wanted to make a good impression on Malleus’ grandmother. (I don’t think Sebek has met Maleficent yet so-)

Maleficent was patient, however. She knew Fae kind were raised to think of Maleficent as a high authority figure that should be treated with upmost respect. Unlike the other kingdoms; the Valley of Thorns praised Maleficent like a goddess. She didn’t blame Sebek for acting like he was.

So she started with baby steps. Talking about how wonderful it was to meet her grandson’s bodyguard, how Malleus must have grown to be a strong magician, how she wished she had stayed to know more about her grandson.

Actually, the breaking point between the tense atmosphere between the two was Malleus. Sebek opens up a little more as he continues to talk to Maleficent.

At the end of the night, they’ve only talked about Malleus, but Maleficent was content with that. After all, keeping up with what her grandson was doing was more than enough.

By the end of the night, the First Years enjoyed the special performance and their time with the Great Seven. Things went well especially when Yuu came to join during their break.

So when it was time to go, everyone had happily said their goodbyes as they were ready to return.

“Oh, before I forget...Yuu, I have almost completed the portals for the others so do expect one of us to pop in soon.” “Oh, ok!” “...THEY MIGHT VISIT US?!”

Everyone is low key excited to meet again though.

So, the first years go through the mirror and stay at Ramshackle, chatting away at their time at the House of Mouse.

So this is going to be my attempt to summarize the newest episodes of the ghost marriage event (episode 1 to 13) of twisted wonderland. Part 2

Again, spoiler alert since I’m about to write out everything that happened, and I apologize for my grammar in advance.

The event started with Epel, Ace, Riddle, and Rook’s marriage proposal

In your dorm -> suddenly a lot of ghosts showed up and said this would be the guest room for the princess -> you got kicked out by them -> you went and ask Crowley what is going on -> Crowley explained -> that was the ghost bride, her dream was to find a wonderful prince to marry, but she died before able to fulfill the dream, so now she wonders around twisted wonderland to find her groom, but that would be impossible -> Crowley “since her perfect prince needs to be over 180cm (5ft9) tall, a slim body without any unnecessary fat, clean and beautiful skin, charming smile, shinnying hair, and lips that make you want to kiss them.” -> Crowley “so there’s no way that anyone could fit that description, they just stay in ramshackle for a few days then leave.” -> suddenly Ortho showed up and said his brother is taken away by the ghosts -> Ortho showed you a footage from the security camera

Idia was on his way to buy manga -> the ghost princess showed up and said “I’ve finally found him… my prince!!!” -> the video cuts out -> Grim was surprised since Idia doesn’t feel like a prince at all -> Crowley “tall, slim, pale skin, and a smile… that can’t really be called charming, shinning… more like burning hairs, and his colored lips. If you think of it, he does fit the ghost’s type.” -> there was suddenly a lot of noises outside -> Ace and Deuce was there -> a bunch of ghosts showed up in cafeteria -> you all retreated to the sports field -> Riddle, Azul, and Kalim were also there -> they were studying but the ghost suddenly showed up -> Azul “Kalim, the correct term would be we were ‘teaching’ you right?” -> Riddle “just a little more and Kalim could finally understand the question…!” -> Vil, Rook, and Epel were in the classroom and the ghosts showed up and kicked them out -> Cater was also kicked out of lab room -> Leona was kicked out from hallway -> Ortho explained what happened to all of them -> everyone laughed -> Crowley “It’s no time to laugh! Do you know what it means to be married to a ghost? It means to be together forever with the dead. You will have your soul pulled out and goes to the other world!” -> Ortho “my… my big brother is going to be a ghost? I don’t want that to happen! Please, help my brother!” -> Crowley “of course, I’m sure when their friend is in trouble, all the gentle students here will help Shroud…”

-> everyone “nope/don’t wanna.” -> (player choice: “what a wonderful harmony” / “you guys only get along with each other in a time like this.”) -> Ortho “why? Everyone lends me your strength!” -> Vil “He normally avoids us as much as possible, and only bother us in a time like this. It’s a little too much.” -> Leona “it’s your own ‘brother’ problem right, just do something yourself.” -> Ortho decided to just do it himself -> he started computer simulation and decided to just use a magic beam to destroy the whole school -> Crowley stopped Ortho and explained to everyone that mass media will soon be on their ass if Shroud disappeared -> Ortho also threatened that if nobody helped, he is going to hack the TV station to remove the mosaic on news and put on “the student that abandoned their friend” instead -> finally everyone agreed to help -> Lilia suggest to ask Sam boy since he knows a lot about the ghost -> Sam said he heard about this from his friends on the other side -> Ortho “is there any item that we can use to solve this…” -> “IN STOCK NOW” -> the ring of extinction -> it can force the ghost to the other world if you put it on her left ring finger while saying “I swear to love you for as long as you are alive.” -> Lilia “so basically, I don’t care if you are dead.” -> but how can we put it on her? -> the only way to do it is to propose her -> Crowley told you to gather all the students he called -> it was Trey, Jack, Jade, Floyd, Leona, Vil, and Sebek -> the plan is to make them propose to the ghost princess -> Riddle “wait a second, I can’t just watch my vice dorm leader do this, I will go too.” -> Crowley “you can’t.” -> Riddle “eh?” ->Crowley “there’s a common trait between all 7 of them, which is... over 180cm in height!!!!!!” -> Riddle “are you saying… that I’m short….!?” -> Floyd “it’s fine, goldfish is fine as you are now… wait? Where’s little goldfish? Is he gone?” -> Riddle “ha? What do you mean, floy…” -> Floyd “…ah, there you are, you are so tiny that I couldn’t see you down there.”

Vil “why isn’t Malleus here? Isn’t he pretty tall?” -> Lilia “Malleus is a real prince, if he proposes there is a high chance to success, but even if it’s fake, there’s no way a future king of thorn valley will propose to a ghost, just the fact that he proposed would cause a national problem, so just let it slide and let Sebek do it instead.” -> Leona “hum, saying something so grand, we still don’t know if Malleus would be picked or not.” -> Sebek “Malleus sama is a very handsome man, of course, he will be chosen as the groom! You guys won’t even stand a chance!!!!!!!” -> Vil and Leona are pretty mad after hearing that and are now determined to do this.

In cafeteria -> Idia is trying his best to scream for help and refuse to marry the princess -> but she won’t listen -> a ghost said 7 people are here to propose to her -> but she said she will refuse them all so Idia can just rest assure here -> Vil started to use his actor skill to act like a prince (change his pronoun from atashi to boku and his way of talking) -> Jack “Vil senpai… can you just lie to someone like that? I think love is supposed to be… more serious. I just, don’t like this con man act…!” -> Vil “too naïve, Jack kun.” -> Jack “Jack ‘kun’!?” -> Vil “this is a competition, to see who can charm the princess first.” -> Leona “disgusting, this is even worse than your normal self.” -> Vil “Leona kun… are you scared that you’ll lose to me?” -> Leona “… hey ghost! Bring the princess out!”

Everyone was brought to the princess -> princess complimented Idia and said how he is her perfect prince ->

Leona and Vil “I’m definitely better!” -> Jade “those two, completely forgot their goals.” -> princess decided to try and see if they will be her perfect prince -> princess “let’s start with you, the one with a wild style but a cute ear.” -> Leona “Me?” -> she suddenly started singing -> Leona got really confused

-> she slapped Leona -> princess “I can’t believe it…… To not sing a duet along with the princess!!!! You are not a prince at all!” -> Jack “Leona senpai… he was the only real prince among us though…” -> next is Vil, he passed the singing part perfectly, but then princess asked what is the name of his pet dog -> he doesn’t have one -> Vil got slapped too

next one up is Jack -> she asked if he knows sword art and how big of a monster have he slain -> Jack “sword? I don’t need something like that, I will use my fist…” -> SLAP

-> Sebek is next -> she asked if he knows how to play instruments -> Sebek started talking about Malleus nonstop -> SLAP

-> Trey is next -> She suddenly said “we can’t meet ever again, farewell!” and runs away -> Trey is confused but decided to chase after her -> She “ah, even though I told you we can’t ever meet again! Please, do not confuse me even more” -> Trey “ok it seems like the right choice to chase after her, but what should I do next…” -> Jade “Trey san, you should sing here!” -> Trey “sing!? Now!?” -> Jade “Yes, to create a romantic mood, you have to sing a wonderful song to make her heart melt.” -> Trey “I’m not really good at singing though…! umm…” -> Trey singing “emm, you… your… your veil…. Looks just like a bleached towel… eyes, also, looks like grapes… so juicy~~” -> her “…” -> Trey “…” -> SLAP

-> Jade “your comparison are a little too peasant, at least say something like your eyes are just like gem stones.” -> Trey “I’m just a high school student? I can’t come up anything like that in this situation!” -> Floyd next -> Floyd “this person just so annoying~~ can I squeeze her?” -> SLAP
