the silent intro was probably the best part of the whole movie. when i watched that, there was NO sound. everyone watching along was deathly silent. it reminded me of the minute of silence people take when in mourning or remembrance and i started fucking sobbing straight away. it was a beautiful way to pay respects towards such a legend.

Sorry in advance, this is a bit long but after seeing your post about it I wanted to add a few thing.

I’d say out of the last three episodes the Jamie Chadwick one was the best. You can definitely tell the difference between when they really know the guests and when they just know of them. I personally think they are more comfortable answering questions than asking them bc with some ot the things they’ve asked they have no right complaining about media/press questions being generic and boring.

The podcast on Lissie’s Youtube channel was much better than the one on SM, I think that one is worth watching. They were talking about what it’s like growing up racing etc and got sentimental at times which was nice, it’s good to see a more vulnerable side of them I guess? Makes them more relatable.

I don’t know what they’ve come across or experienced to make so many comments about the female viewership and interactions with female fans but it just makes it seem like they’re only attracting certain types of people. And that says more about them than us so idk. They are either ignoring our feedback or it isn’t registering.

I like The Side Pod because Callum is involved and it’s somewhat sensible. Clem’s Wine Corner is more of a hit or miss, some episodes I enjoyed very much and others were a bit questionable. They need to either stop with certain comments on the main pod or Rory needs to start doing a better job at editing. It’s really starting to put people off and if they lose their ‘female viewers’ they lose 95% of their viewers soo yeah 🤷🏻‍♀️

poor rory tho, he has to manage the SM podcast + side pod when they have episodes + deal with the entire chasing the dream and all of his projects on the side. Like idk how he can still do it all (i mean the quality of chasing the dream went downhill real fast but still, dude is doing too much stuff)

sobbed throughout black panther 2 ugh why did it have to be someone as talented and genuinely kind as chadwick 😞 didn't know him, didn't have him in my life but he gave me such good vibes. had no idea it's possible to miss this much someone you don't know! movie was amazing though 💔 very very good film.

Omg I’m already anxious to see it, I wanna wait until it comes out on disney+ tho because going to the movies sick as hell aint it for me. Me and my sister are super excited and I already know I’m gonna cry like crazy. I feel you tho, I love chadwick sm too! He was such a kind and strong soul, beautiful man, inside and out and just wow I know his presence alone was so comforting! They way he treated fans too was just so heartwarming and God I miss him too man, I wish I could’ve had the opportunity to meet him and have a picture with him and everything. The whole world misses this angel, I’m just glad he stood strong and happy to the very end! Sometimes ngl tho I forget he’s gone because he was so full of life! 💔

The second episode of What if? was so much better. The Thanos/Nebula rs, T‘challa being a leader and hero in any given situation (I never liked Quill and this ep just underlined it), seeing Yondu again, seeing Drax again. The first episode was so similar to TFA but this one took a complete turn. God, I‘ll miss Chadwick sm as T‘challa.

I just wonder why they didn’t go after Peter again after abducting the wrong kid… lol

hey guys i’m sorry for my absence here! it’s been so busy the past month and i haven’t had time/drive to update girls on film even though i have been writing, but not nearly as frequently as before. i started school and was working before then so i was super busy! i was going to try to update last week but lost the drive because i was in mourning of the very loved and missed chadwick boseman. i hope to get back on my feet with updating girls on film and other oneshots/imagines bc i have SO many wips that i’m actually very excited about.

Anyone feel Seb could be better at SM?

I love Sebastian, but lately with his Instagram posts, I feel like he is just missing the mark. Like with his BP behind the scenes pic. I get that he wants to show off that he was in the movie, I was super excited to see him in the post credits scene. But he couldn’t do a shoutout to the cast and crew? Find a pic of all of them on the red carpet at a premier and congratulate Ryan, Chadwick and everyone else about creating such a beautiful, groundbreaking film. And then a few weeks later post the one of him on set. It’s a film with a majority African American cast and he highlights himself, a white dude who only had a cameo appearance. Lots of Marvel stars publically supported BP and I wish Seb would have been among them, especially since the film has prove itself to be such a cultural phenomenon. 

And with Allison Janney winning her Oscar, all he does is lump in his congrats with a post thanking Tom Ford for dressing him and the pic is of him. Does he not have a pic of him and Allison from either filming/promoting or even the VF party that night he could have used in a post to congratulate her? And when Nicole Kidman gave him a shoutout for Destroyer (which is all kinds of awesome because it’s Nicole Kidman) he again just posts a pic of himself. 

I don’t know if he is solely running his Insta, or if he has people or a team doing it, but I think he would only be doing favors by presenting himself as more of a team player and supportive of his costars and actors. Just some nitpicking on my part. I’m a fan of his and I just feel like he could be doing so much more for his own image.

LOVE THE NEW THEME IDEAS! Esp the countries one. I love learning other cultures. I've seen bad takes on TikTok such as "if you're not black/latino or if you're white, don't watch Wakanda Forever!" Hol' up... *pinches nose bridge* white latinos exist. Anya Taylor Joy, for example. Latinos can be white, brown, black, asian, mixed race... Ppl wanna stop white latinos from seeing Namor?? Eye- The movie looks GORGEOUS and EVERYONE should go watch it so it can make money. Let king Chadwick unify us!!

Me too, I just find other cultures so interesting and beautiful! Ever since I was a kid I’ve always wanted to travel and just learn about everyone’s beliefs and traditions, their unique and beathtaking fashions too and just roam their beautiful countries! It’s amazing! I love that we can all be different but still be the same color on the inside! 🥰 And yes I agree, I feel like we should unify through something as amazing and wonderful as black panther! That story is just something out of this world and it should bring us all together! It shouldn’t matter what race you are! It’s a superhero we can all admire and look up to! The first movie made me cry sm and I can imagine how the second movie is gonna make me sob! 🥺 King Chadwick will forever be a treasure to us all! I still miss him! 👑
