a collection of my favourite friendly-fire incidents, in no particular order
14–18 August, 1944: During the march to close the Falaise Pocket, the South Alberta regiment of the 4th Canadian Armoured Division sustained over 57 casualties from six different strafing attacks performed by RAF Spitfires. Despite the smoke columns from their destroyed vehicles, as well as the deployment of yellow signalling smoke -- the designated colour for friendly ground forces -- the strafing runs continued. One of the regimental officers in the 4th Divison flew off the fucking handle, and ordered his entire battery of self-propelled Crusader Anti-Aircraft tanks to fire on nearby RAF aircraft. [1]
2 January, 1966: An American Cessna O-1 Bird Dog flying over Bao Trai (now Hậu Nghĩa) was struck mid-air by indirect fire from an ANZAC howitzer battery, firing at a nearby NLF position. Like the fucking shells were falling, and this moron flew straight into the barrage and got hit. Mid-air. The tail of the plane separated from the airframe, and the pilot died on impact with the ground. [2]
10 May, 1940: A German Heinkel He-111 bomber took off from an airstrip to bomb the French city of Dijon during the Battle of France. However, due to some fucking insane calculation errors, they managed to fly back into Germany, and drop 69 bombs on the city of Freiburg instead, killing 57 German civilians. Of course the Nazis didn’t want to admit that their own city was bombed by the Luftwaffe, so Hitler blamed Churchill for “Coordinating terrorist attacks”. It’s also of note that the bombing occurred somewhere in the afternoon/evening, and visibility was good enough that the bomber crew identified landmarks on the ground -- they just mistook all of them for French ones. [3] [4]
June/July, 1801: During the Battle of Algeciras Bay, the two Spanish Santa-Ana class ships of the line, Real Carlos and San Hermenegildo, were sailing the Strait of Gibraltar. During foggy, nighttime conditions, the British HMS Superb sailed between the two Spanish ships. While attempting to pursue the Superb, both Spanish ships mistook each other for the Superb, and engaged with cannons. Both Spanish ships were sunk, and 1,700 sailors died. The Superb sailed away without a scratch. [5]
31 January, 1915: At the Battle of Bolimów, the German Ninth Army launched the first-ever gas attack of WWI on the Russian Second Army. However, upon the Ninth Army firing 18,000 bromine gas shells at Russian lines, it became clear that the Germans did not know how wind worked, and all of the gas blew backwards into German lines. There are no official casualty counts, but it’s suspected they were rather low due to the cold temperatures freezing the xylyl bromide in the gas. [6] [7]
14 April, 1942: In an RAF demonstration of “tactical airpower” in Wiltshire, went awry when a Hawker Hurricane fighter mistook the audience of the demonstration, for the target-dummies he was supposed to be hitting. The pilot strafed the observing crowd with his machineguns and killed 25; injured 71. Unfortunately, this was a rehearsal the day before Winston Churchill was supposed to be apart of that crowd. Fucking lmao. [8]
13 September, 1969: I don’t have a lot of details on this one, but apparently some British NCO stationed in Northern Ireland got shot in the face by one of his own men, while on the phone with his wife inside a British FOB. I can barely find anything more on this, but I will say that every account of FF I’ve found from the Troubles was dumbass Brits shooting each other unprompted, and I think that’s wonderful. [9]
1 January, 1945: Due to Allied airpower in France following the Battle of Normandy, and the dwindling fuel reserves of Nazi Germany, the Luftwaffe took a largely defensive posture during 1944/1945. However on New Years Day, 1945, the Luftwaffe made a final attempt at gaining air superiority in Operation Bodenplatte. Of course, they managed to completely fuck up this surprise attack, as they completely neglected to tell any German Anti-Aircraft crews about it. So at 08:30, German squadrons took off and were almost immediately shot down by their own anti-aircraft batteries. Roughly 300 aircraft were lost, and only a fraction of those were from scrambled Allied fighters. This is the largest single-day loss for the Luftwaffe in the entire war [10]
21-22 September, 1788: The whole Austro-Ottoman War was a shitshow, but the Battle of Karánsebes absolutely takes the cake; imagine a bar-fight with muskets. The Austrian army of about 100,000 men was making camp outside of Karánsebes, while a detachment of Hussars forded the Timiș River to scout for Ottoman soldiers. They didn’t run into any enemy during the patrol, but did run into a group of Romani merchants, who sold them schnapps. The Hussars start having a little party by the riverbank,  which attracts the attention of a number of infantrymen from the main camp. The infantry began demanding to have some of the schnapps, which the hussars refused -- then it all goes fucking sideways. A shot rings out in the crowd; one of the hussars has been shot by an infantryman. The Hussars return fire, and then someone in the crowd yells “Turks!”. The crowd disperses, the majority heading back across the river, towards the camp, where the Corps Commander thought they were under attack by Turkish cavalry, and ordered all of his artillery to open fire on the hussars. Thinking they’re under attack in the middle of the night, the camp garrison starts firing at each other indiscriminately -- even better, since the Austrian army was comprised largely of mercenaries and multiethnic groups from the Balkans, none of them understood each other, so they couldn’t tell each other they were allies. Shit, even the guys speaking German were misunderstood; apparently when the Corps Commander called for everyone to halt, he was misheard as saying “allah”. Oh, and the archduke of Austria got thwacked off his horse and fell into the river, fuckin idiot. The entire army, thinking they were overrun with Turks, fled the town and went into a full-retreat. Two days later, the Ottomans found the massacre and just occupied the town with no resistance. Final estimates on the casualties were roughly 150 dead, 1,200 wounded and 563 missing. [11]

Final Takeaway
My First Picks…
These first five are favorites because they are quick ways to get started making extra money and they have long-term potential as well! All five of them do require an internet connection, but sine you’re reading this from the internet, I think you’re covered there ?
1. Share Your Opinion
and get money sent to your PayPal
Yup, you can actually generate side income by simply giving your opinion via online surveys. It’s not going to make you rich tomorrow, but it’s still a great way to generate extra income during your down time.
If you think surveys may be the way to go, check out our full list of the top survey companies for both online and offline opinions here.
Survey Junkie
  2. Door Dash
Door Dash is our favorite pick for food delivery because it’s been reported back to us that DoorDashers make slightly more than UberEats drivers. While we don’t have any factual statistics to prove this right or wrong, we still pick DoorDash over UberEats as our top side hustle for food delivery. If you have a car, bike, or scooter, get started with Door Dash today and start making money for your next vacation, your upcoming wedding, or whatever expense you’re saving for!
Maybe you just don’t feel like driving people around in your car or maybe you don’t even have a car. Depending on the city you live in, Uber Eats allows you to deliver food to people via your car, bike, or scooter. Turn on the app in the morning before work, when you get home, or whenever you have some extra time to make money on your terms.
Door Dash
  3. VIPKID
VIPKID will pay you up to $22/hour to teach English from the comfort of your home to children in China. Currently VIPKID has over 70,000 teachers teaching English as a second language to over 600,000 children in China.
They do require you to have a Bachelor’s degree from either the USA or Canada and they ask for “some teaching experience”. However, from the teachers we have spoke with from VIPKID, they said “teaching” doesn’t have to mean teaching in a traditional educational setting.
The lessons are 30 minutes long and you will be paid up to $11 for each 30-minute lesson. One thing to note is since you are teaching across the globe in a live setting, you will be teaching at odd hours (late at night or first thing in the morning). However, the teachers we spoke to said it was fun, rewarding, and it paid well for being able to stay at home and teach from their laptops.
VIPKID
4. Airbnb
Did you know you can rent your room or house out at Airbnb? They have been around since 2008 and millions of people have been renting out their rooms or entire homes to travelers from all over the world. If you do this right, you may be able to cover your entire mortgage! If you’re going to be gone for a month or two, you may as well allow your space to make money while you’re gone.
Airbnb
  5. Share Your Blog with the World
I started this blog in 2015 from my laptop at my kitchen table and today it generates over $10,000 per month 🙂 However, in the beginning it was just a side hustle project that turned into full-time income much quicker than I would have ever dreamed.
If you love writing, then starting a blog is exactly the right side hustle for you. There are many ways to generate income from blogging, with one of the most popular being through affiliate income.
How does it work?
You know how you can share a referral link from companies you love and they will send you $5 for referring them a customer? Affiliate partners work the exact same way.
Is blogging complicated?
Absolutely not! But just in case, I did create a step-by-step guide to help you get started in about 15 minutes.
Start a Blog
  6. Become a Virtual Assistant
If you enjoy working from your laptop, then becoming a virtual assistant may be exactly what you need. We use a few virtual assistants for Money Peach and one of them earns over $10,000 per month as a VA. Other places where you can become a virtual assistant for an agency where they find work for your is Upwork. They take a 10% fee, but 90% is still a great side hustle.
You can also listen to Episode 80 on the Money Peach Podcast (below) where my own Virtual Assistant shares how she got started as a VA and within a few years was able to quit her full-time job and start earning over $10k per month doing what she loved.
Virtual Assistant Course (Use Promo Code Peach 10 for $50 Off)
Online Hustles
I love online hustles because they give you the freedom to do these anywhere. If you’re constantly traveling for work or out of town a lot you’re going to absolutely love these online side hustles.
7. Start a Social Media Marketing Business
Our very own social media manager was actually someone who was enrolled inside Awesome Money Course. We noticed how great she was inside our private students-only Facebook group and we offered her a job with us. Now she manages all of our social media for Money Peach and she has also been offered social media jobs from other bloggers!
A great place to get started is visiting the Facebook Side Hustle Course by Bobby of Millennial Money Man. You can read how many of the students from the course are landing social media jobs for $1,000 – $2,000 month! Not a bad little side hustle, right?
Facebook Side Hustle
  8. Ebates (Now Rakuten)
Ebates is a company that has partnered with over 2,000 online companies to form an affiliate relationship with each of them. An affiliate relationship simply means Ebates and each online company have created a partnership where Ebates will refer you or I to buy something from them, and that company then sends Ebates a thank-you referral.
The good news: Ebates then splits the thank-you referral with you, and you earn Cash Back.
The Better News: You can Make Money by referring friends, family, or anyone else to join Ebates!
Ebates extends their referral program to any Ebates member who would like to share how to earn Cash Back while shopping online. Once you create an account with Ebates, you can invite your friends and family to join in on the Cash Back savings, and YOU will also receive a thank-you referral, aka make money.
BONUS $10 with Ebates Right Now
  9. Honey Browser Extension
Honey is a free tool that will search for online coupons and apply them to your online shopping cart to make sure you are saving the most money. Instead of searching for coupons one at-a-time and applying them individually, Honey does all of this for you in the matter of seconds. Not only will you save money, but you will also MAKE MONEY with their refer-a-friend program. For anyone you refer to the app, Honey will send you $5 as soon as they purchase something via the app up to $1,000.
Honey Browser Extension
  10. Inbox Dollars
Inbox Dollars is a rewards club that pays you in cash for completing a variety of online activities. This can include searching the internet, filling out surveys, printing off coupons, and shopping online. If you are already doing these things, you may as well get paid for it, right?
Inbox Dollars
  11. Fiverr
Fiverr is a platform where you can sell your products and services starting at $5 per gig. After you have a few $5 gigs under your belt, you can start increasing how much you charge. Here at Money Peach, we hire people from Fiverr all the time. Just recently, we found someone for a quick logo design and another to transcribe some videos we created.
Also, the Fiverr platform does take 20% from each gig. Therefore, if you do a $5 gig, you will take home $4 per gig. However, if you can complete 3-4 gigs in an hour, your hourly rate could start at $16 – $20 per hour!
Fiverr
  12. Make Money with PayPal
Already have a PayPal account?
We have put together a list of the side hustles that will pay you in PayPal gift cards which can then be deposited into your PayPal account – just like cash!
Where to make money with PayPal
  13. Amazon
Selling on Amazon is almost identical as selling on eBay in terms of fees and ease of use. However, sometimes items that don’t sell as well on eBay do better on Amazon and vice versa. Either way, it is a side hustle worth looking at if you can buy for cheap and resell for a higher price.
14. Amazon Affiliate Links
I know of a guy who started out as a handyman. He then took that idea as a handyman and started his own blog to teach people how to fix things themselves through blogging and video tutorial. At the end of every post or video, he would tell you what tool he used to get the job done and would provide a link directly to Amazon for you to purchase that product.
However, he also signed up for a free Amazon Affiliate Account. Every time someone clicks on his link and buys ANYTHING on Amazon, he gets a commission! Think about this: Amazon pays him for the tool he recommended and also for anything else they Add To Cart. This is why I love blogging and why I have a free tutorial to help you get started.
15. eBook Publishing
Make money by writing your own book and self publishing it on Amazon for free. There are different options available for how your can price your book and earn income from the sale of your book in the Amazon store. Questions about self publishing your own book? Check this out.
16. Etsy
Instead of having to open up your brick and mortar store, sell your creations on Etsy. Whether you make clothing, crafts, baby toys, or jewelry, you can open up your own store at Etsy. I have a friend selling her awesome clothing line on Etsy and it brings in a very nice income for the family. This is another great side hustle, but don’t expect instant results. You may need to be patient for this one.
17. Craigslist
We all know you can buy and sell stuff on Craigslist, but have you ever thought about offering a service you can provide. If providing a service isn’t your thing, you can scan Craigslist for great deals and then later resell items for a profit. This takes persistence and patience, but I have a friend who went from a $4k truck to a $24k in truck in 18 months by flipping cars from Craigslist.
There are also many other sites competing with Craigslist and you may have better exposure by posting on these sites like Craigslist.
18. User Testing
Don’t want to do an online survey, but still like to surf the web and earn some cash? Companies will pay you to try out their apps or visit their websites and give them feedback. Usertesting and UserFeel uses your feedback on apps and websites that aren’t as user-friendly and then pays your for it.
19. Become a Freelance Writer
If you are a good writer, consider searching online sites such as freelancer.com for writing jobs. Individuals or companies might need freelance writers for a number of reasons.
Individuals or companies might need a writer for their blog or website, or a company might need a writer for its instruction manuals, for instance.
Pro Tip: The best way to learn how to get freelance writing jobs is from someone who has been doing it for years. Holly Johnson generates over $100k per year freelance writing and she has a program to show you how to do it.
**Money Peach Readers: Use Coupon Code PEACH10 to Receive 10% Off at Checkout**
  Become Freelance Writer
An even better option is to learn from those who are already making 6-figures as freelance writers. Check out Episode 13 on the Money Peach Podcast where Holly and Greg Johnson share how they got started as freelance writers and soon turned their side hustle into a 6-figure income.
20. Zazzle
Make money on Zazzle as a designer by selling your artwork on different products or you can actually make and manufacture the products for sale. I have a friend who takes old dry wood and paints slogans on them. She needs to sell them on Zazzle; she could create a very quick and profitable side hustle.
21. eBay
You can have your own store up in only a few minutes at eBay. To start, you must have a seller account, must be verified through PayPal. You are even able to give a detailed description of your store with a catchy design to attract customers. I have a friend who will buy all of the unused bras at a last chance type of store and resell them for a profit at her eBay store. Last I heard, she was doing $1,000/month in her first couple of months.
22. Do Transcription Work or Data Entry Work
Companies hire transcriptionists for a number of reasons. A doctor’s office might need a medical transcriptionist to record information about a patient’s appointment, or law enforcement agencies might need transcription services for court cases or suspect interviews.
Data entry work, which is a bit easier than transcription work, is also available from companies who hire people to work from home. Simply google “transcription work” or “data entry jobs” for a list of companies currently hiring work-from-home reps.
23. Sell Your Photos Online
Do you take amazing photos? You can actually sell your photos online at places like iStockPhoto, Shutterstock, Fotolia, and Bigstockphoto. Photos can be sold over and over again, allowing you to earn a residual income!
24. Start a Web Design Business
If you’re knowledgeable about web design, you could make money creating or improving on websites for individuals or businesses.
Advertise on Craigslist or approach businesses directly if they have a website that needs improvement.
There really is no shortage of ways to make extra money if you’re willing to get creative and do some research. Which financial goals will you use the extra cash you earn to accomplish?

Driving Hustles
If you have a car, you may as well use it to help you side hustle, right? Here’s our favorite driving side hustles.
25. Uber/Lyft Driver-Partner
If you are unfamiliar with Uber or Lyft, then make sure you still have a pulse and you are breathing air.
To get started, some minimum requirements you need are a car, a smartphone, and the Uber or Lyft app. You become available to drive as soon as you complete the activation process and then you are ready to start earning money. Fares are paid out weekly or up to 5X a day when you register for Instant Pay with your debit card!
Today, there are more riders on the road than ever! This is one of my absolute favorite ways to start generating money quickly.
Drive with Uber
Drive with Lyft
26. Uber Eats
Uber Eats
27. Be a Paid Designated Driver
Pretty self-explanatory.
28. Drive People to the Airport
Some airports don’t allow Uber or Lyft to drop people off or pick them up, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t still offer up airport rides on your own. Post an ad to all of your friends on social media that you are now their preferred method of getting to the airport. I used to do this when I first got my license and it paid very well 🙂
OR JUST DRIVE WITH UBER OR LYFT (See Number 24 Above)
Extremely Passive Hustles
If you like passive income, then you may want to review the top 40 passive income ideas . But to get you started, here are our favorite side hustles that are also extremely passive.
29. Rent Out Your Garage or Driveway
You’ve likely heard of AirBnB, where you can rent out rooms in your house – or your whole house – to travelers wanting to avoid the impersonal feel and high cost of hotel rooms.
Maybe you can’t or don’t want to rent out rooms in your house, but you might have space in your garage to rent out. Sites such as Air Garage help people rent out their garage spaces and driveway spaces.
People might want to rent out your garage or driveway space because they work close to where you live and want cheaper and safer parking options.
Or they might want to rent out your parking space because there’s an event near you, such as a state fair or sporting event.
Depending on where you live you could easily earn $50 or more a month for parking spots in your garage or driveway.
Check out this Money Peach podcast with AirGarage CEO Jonathan Barkl for more info.
30. Become a Voiceover Artist
You know those people who talk on radio and TV commercials but you never see their faces? They’re called voiceover artists, and they get paid good money to do what they do.
Sites like Backstage list available voiceover jobs, and Carrie Olsen, professional voiceover artist, has a great web site that can help you learn how to become a voiceover artist.
Check out this Money Peach Podcast with Voice Over Star Carrie Olsen for more info.
31. Rent out your Car
Did you know your car sits idle 93% of the time? If you’re not going to need your car for the next couple of days/weeks/months, you may as well let it earn you some cash. You can list your car through RelayRides and have your personal car rented out tomorrow.
32. Rent out a Room full-time
Own a home and need extra cash each month? Rent out a room in your house to help cover the mortgage and free up some of your cash. I have a single friend who has a $1,200 mortgage and he consistently earns $2,000+ every month by renting out room(s) in his house via Airbnb. Fun fact – he applies the extra cash towards his mortgage each month!
Airbnb
  Some Skill Required Hustles
So, not all side hustles are for everyone. In fact, these ones below do require some skill to make money. But, the more skill you have, the more money you will make!
33. Become an Online Coach
If you have an idea and can help people, pay attention. Whether it is motivating someone, helping them pass a class, or teaching them how to build a website, this can all be done online. Setup you’re pricing, terms, and accept payment through something as simple as PayPal and you are on your way. I recommend using Skype or Google Hangouts since it is 100% free. Help someone and get paid – genius.
34. Create an Online Course
Is there something you are good at and can teach to others? I have a friend who will teach you how to clean pools over his site, Swim University. Check out Udemy for ideas on your next online course and see how much people are paying for someone like you to teach them.
One of the greatest accomplishments I have had in my business is helping others reach financial freedom. We have had over 500 students graduate Awesome Money Course and completely turn their money situation around!
If you are tired of living the paycheck-to-paycheck lifestyle and would like to save more, pay off debt, and reach true financial freedom, then Awesome Money Course was made for you.
I am so confident you will absolutely love the program that I have 100% money-back guarantee…meaning you could download the entire course, keep it, and ask for a refund.
I hope no one would do that, but I will also take that risk if it results in you learning how to manage money, pay off debt, save, and build a wealthy future.
However, if you would like to try a little bit of our program out, we do have a 100% free mini-course called the Cash Flow Formula which will show you the step-by-step to building a monthly cash-flow plan with many of our favorite money-hacks to save more and pay off debt quicker!
Start Cash Flow Formula (FREE)
  35. Spray Tanning
A good friend of mine (Jessica) has become the queen of spray tanning in our area. In fact, she is making $900 per week cash spray tanning both the ladies and the men and it’s all through word-of-mouth! You can check her out at JC Glows on Facebook to see how she set up her side hustle.
I asked her how she got started and she said this:
She started with this exact tanning kit
She uses this tanning tent

36. Become a Cover Letter/Resume’ Writer
Professionals of all kinds pay ridiculous amounts of money for professionally written resumes. I know one guy who paid a professional resume’ writer $5,000.
If you have a knack for writing compelling and attention-grabbing resumes, consider offering your services on sites such as freelancer.com or Craigslist.
37. Develop an App
If you’ve got a great idea for an app that will make people’s lives easier or more exciting, this could be a great side hustle for you.
Check out this post on learnappmaking.com for more information on how to develop and market an app for some extra income.
38. Catering
If you love cooking, serving food, and entertaining at your own home, then get paid to do it for someone else. This can be fun and can often go from side hustle to full-time if you’re really good at it!
39. Computer Repair
If you love “playing” computers, then help someone repair theirs and get paid for it. Note: You must know a little bit about computers 🙂
40. Computer Training
How many Baby Boomers (or anyone for that matter) do you know who are still having trouble checking their email. If you were able to navigate to this web page, then you probably have the skills to teach extremely basic computer skills to an extreme beginner.
41. Guitar Gigs
A friend of mine finds guitar gigs online, on Facebook, and in the paper all the time. He shows up, plays for a few hours, and leaves with cash in hand. Note: you must be good at playing the guitar.
42. Guitar Lessons
If you are handy on the 6 string and can show someone else, teach them. Better yet, teach the world online how to play guitar.
43. Handyman Work
Some people are handy and others are not. Let your neighbors know that you are available to hang a ceiling fan, patch a hole in the drywall, fix an irrigation leak, or paint a fence. All can be done for them ASAP for a small fee 🙂
I love TaskRabbit. Whether I need a doggy door installed, someone to clean my house this weekend, or even mount a TV, I can go on TaskRabbit to find someone in an instant. YOU could be that person I find next on TaskRabbit for hire!
44. Lifeguard
Become a lifeguard and earn $16/hr – $20/hr part-time. Not only do you make some extra cash, but you are guaranteed to get a little tan as well.
45. Mobile Oil Change
If you don’t mind getting underneath the car and pulling the drain plug for people, then this could be your next side hustle. People are busy, and may want to pay you to change their oil while they are at work. Note: Wal-Mart always has the cheapest oil.
46. Network Marketing
Network marketing (sometimes referred to as multi-level-marketing) can sometimes have a bad connotation if you have ever been scammed in the past. However, there are very reputable companies out there that you can start working for today with very little buy-in or overhead. A member of our family started off her network marketing business as a side hustle and has turned it into a part-time gig with full-time income. Warning: if you are told it doesn’t require any actual work – run away!
47. Personal Training
Someone out there wants to get into better shape, and they are willing to pay you to help them. If you love fitness, this would be a perfect side hustle for you.
48. Tutoring
Take your education and use it to make money on the side. Tutor students and get paid handsomely.
Live in the U.S. or U.K. and hold a bachelor’s degree? You can earn up to $20/hr plus bonuses to teach kids English online from the comfort of home. Learn more here.
49. Teach Music Lessons
From singing to playing piano or any other number of instruments, parents everywhere are seeking music lessons for their kids.
If you have a gift for a musical skills, consider teaching that skill to local kids. You might be able to find jobs by looking on Craigslist or by seeking out local public school or homeschooling groups to connect with parents who have school-aged children.
50. Start a Baking Business
Do you have a gift for baking goodies such as cake, muffins or cookies? Why not use that gift to make yourself some extra cash?
Events such as birthday parties, weddings, office parties and meetings, retirement parties and more often have baked treats as a part of their celebration.
Advertise your culinary skills on Craigslist and with local event booking venues for your bakery services.
Be sure to check with state officials on what the rules are for serving and selling food in your area first.
51. Become a Sports Umpire
Are you knowledgeable about the rules and regulations of certain sports? Do you like working with kids? Recreation associations often pay good money for organized sports umpires for football, baseball, and more.
In our area, umpires earn about $30 an hour. Check with local sporting organizations for job opening details.
Physical Labor Hustles
If you don’t putting in a little sweat equity, you can do very well side hustling with some physical labor attached to it. I did #50 when I was getting out of debt and generated over $1,000 each month.
52. Clean Pools
This requires very little overhead and is simple to do. Go to Google Earth and look up which homes in your neighborhood have a pool, and offer to start today. I actually did this to get out of debt and it worked out great!
53. House Cleaning
People are busy and don’t have time to clean their homes. This is where you come in 🙂 Search your area in Craigslist to get an idea for pricing your own services.
54. Mowing Lawns
If you don’t have the funds to purchase all the equipment, then offer to your mow lawns with their equipment. I actually did this in grade school because I wasn’t old enough to drive. I just showed up, grabbed their lawnmower, and was paid.
55. Painting Gates
Gates fade and someone needs to repaint them. A kid in the neighborhood took pics of faded gates and pretty gates and posted them on the mailbox with his number and price. (I think one of the faded gate pics he took was my gate also).
56. Painting Services
Remember that movie American Pie 2 where they spend the summer in a lake house and do some side painting. No one likes painting their houses or walls, so why not help them out for a little side cash? Start out small by offering to paint a bedroom or two, and work your way up from there. Pricing rule: $1 per square ft of painting.
57. Shoveling Snow
No one likes shoveling snow and this is why you will be paid for it.
58. Wash Cars
If you can wash a car, then you can make money. People are busy and don’t have time to even take their cars to the wash anymore…this is where you come in.
59. Wash Windows
I recently paid a guy to wash my windows because he advertised $4/window. He spent about 1 hour washing a total of 20 windows and walked away with $80 cash. His entire setup was a bucket and a squeegee. Maybe I should wash my own windows and my neighbor’s windows for an affordable price of only $4 a window.
Unique Hustles
If you are unique, then you deserve some unique side hustles. Some of these are extremely cool, but a few of them…well I am still waiting for you to try.
60. Rent out Your Baby Gear
Think of it as the Airbnb of Baby Gear.
Have you ever traveled with kids and realized what a pain-in-the-butt it is to take the stroller, hi-chair, pack-n-play, and everything else that babies need? Think about dragging all of that through the airport, onto the train, or inside the Uber?
BabyQuip offers a simple solution. They provide families with a wide assortment of clean, quality baby equipment—everything they need to keep their little ones sleeping well at night and happily engaged during the day.
And guess who makes 80% commission (plus tips) renting their baby gear out?
You, the side hustler!
BabyQuip
61. Sell Your Hair Online
Thinking about a new hair style? You may want to. People are paying up to $1,000 for quality hair if you can remember to wash it more than once a month J Check out what your hair is worth at Hairsellon.
Hairsellon
62. Paint Street Numbers
A father and son rang my doorbell and pointed out to me my street numbers were faded. “For only $10, they would repaint my street numbers so my house would look better”. I paid it and it took them 37 seconds. They did 6 houses on my street alone. This is a great little side hustle.
63. Sell Drinks
where it’s hot (and where it’s cold)
I live in Phoenix where it will hover at 116°F during the summer. During the hottest weeks, there is a guy who sells snow cones and water for a premium.
I asked him how business was recently – he smiled and said “Business is gooooooood”. Buy a case of water at Costco for $0.12 a bottle and resell them for $2 wherever it is HOT. Who wouldn’t pay $2 for ice-cold water during the dog days of summer?
64. TaskRabbit
Become a task rabbit and get paid. People in your neighborhood are looking to pay you to put together furniture from Ikea, do their grocery shopping, install a ceiling fan, be a bartender at their party, or mount their TV to the wall.
65. Start a Home Staging Business
Somebody is always selling a home, and homes sell faster and for more money when they are “staged”.
As a home stager you can tailor your business to meet a variety of client needs. Creating relationships with local realtors is one way to help you find home staging clients.
66. Be a Work-From-Home Customer Service Rep
There are many legit companies that offer to hire customer service representatives who can from home. One of the more popular work-from-home companies is U-Haul, the well-known moving company.
67. Start an Estate Sale Service Business
An estate sale business buys a large majority of a client’s belongings, including furniture, vehicles and more, at a group rate and sells the stuff individually for profit.
This is a business that will take some work as you get to know the ropes but can be very lucrative in the long run.
68. Start a Vending Machine Business
Many companies want vending machines installed at their businesses for the convenience of employees and clients alike.
Although this type of side hustle would involve some costly initial cash, you may be able to make it up quickly if you install the machines in thriving businesses that service large numbers of people.
69. Pick Up Trash in Parking Lots
Brian Winch came on the podcast to share how he picks up trash around parking lots and now earns a 6-figure income by doing so. Although it may not be glorious work, it does pay well and it’s extremely affordable to get started. Before you get started, check out the Clean Lots tutorial here.
You’ve Got to be Kidding Me Hustles
Before you read on, just remember the name of these side hustles are you’ve-go-to-be-kidding-me side hustles. Some of them will actually shock you ?.
70. Be a Sperm Donor
This is straight out of the movie Road Trip when they need gas money. However, you can make substantial money donating sperm, with some places offering up $1,000/month to healthy men. Be aware, if you’re not a true thoroughbred, you won’t be paid as much!
71. Be a Plasma Donor
Since there is no way to synthetically make plasma, you will be compensated for your donation. Rates vary from state to state, but you can make on average $200/month for only a few hours of your time….and blood.
We have a full list of where you can earn $400 per month donating plasma here.
72. Become a Cuddler
Ah yes, cuddling. This is an actual real job and I recently saw it featured in a news segment. People are paying for up to 3 hours of platonic hugging (and they pay a lot). Job requirements: enjoy hugging strangers.
73. Pick up Dog Poop
Who likes picking up dog poop? Nobody. This is why you can get paid for it.
youtube
74. Rent-a-Friend
You can sign up for free at Rentafriend to be someone else friend both part-time and full-time with pay between $20/hr – $50/hr. Yes, this sounds very strange from the outside looking in, but a lot of times you are helping someone get acquainted in a new town, meet a new group of friends, or simply have a cup of coffee with. Most importantly – friendship is always platonic (no touching).
Easy Peasy Hustles
These are some of the classic side hustles that we call the easy peasy ones. If you are looking for simple, but yet effective, these are the side hustles for you.
75. Babysitting
If you like kids and don’t go out on the weekends, become a babysitter. Advertise to all of your friends (and Facebook Friends) that you will watch their kids so they can have a date night. New to the area? Then get connected with Care.com to become a certified/recommended babysitter in your area.
76. Dog Walking
Create this ad: “Love your dog but simply don’t have time to walk them? Let me help you!” There will always be someone willing to pay to keep their doggy happy, and this person is you.
77. Gig Walking
Download the free App and then find “gigs” in your neighborhood that companies are willing to pay you for. Can you check out the price of milk in a certain store for $6 or snap a pic of a storefront for $5 on the way to work? Note: You will start off with the crappier jobs in the beginning, but prove yourself and you will start getting offered the higher-paying jobs soon enough.
78. Golf Course
If you love being around the golf course (or don’t mind a few drunk old men) you can make pretty good money part-time by collecting balls off the range, cleaning golf carts, or serving cold beers at the tee box.
79. House-sitting
Who doesn’t want to get paid for simply living in someone else’s house for a few day days? This is simple and people will pay you for it. You can think of it as a mini staycation too!
80. Mystery Shopper
Get paid $10 – $30 on average to be a mystery shopper. However, beware because there are a lot of scams out there. I recommend checking out Marketforce, Best Mark, and Intelli-101 before you head anywhere else.
81. Pet Grooming
There are people out there that simply will not shave their dog and will pay you for it. Create a Facebook Page called “iShaveDogs” and let all your friends know! Someone will hire you.
82. Pet Sitting
If you truly love animals, then why not get paid to hang out with someone else’s dog or cat for the weekend? You can become a pet sitter at Care.com or specialize in only watching over someone’s pooch at Rover.
83. RedBox
You love renting movies for only $1.75, but did you know you can get paid to stock DVDs into the kiosks and make sure they are working properly? Check out Redbox Jobs and also see these 12 free Redbox Codes for free moves and games.
84. Sell ScrapMetal
Post in your social media or offer in the newspaper that you will come and take any scrap metal away for people. Not only could you make a few extra bucks for hauling away metal, but then you could sell it at a scrap yard. Double whammy!
85. Tax Prep
When I was in college, TurboTax hit the Internet. I created an ad on a bulletin board and offered Tax Prep for those who make less than $100k/year so I could use the free 1040EZ software. My overhead was $0 and I charged $20 to punch the numbers from the W-2 into TurboTax. Another great option is to try H&R Block and see which one you like the best. We also have a full review of H&R Block here.

86. Sign Spinner
Do you ever see those people standing on the corner, wearing headphones, oblivious to the entire world around them, and flipping signs in the air? They are making money and you can too. What about sign holder? Well, maybe you’re not the spinning type…
87. Sign Holder
Maybe you’re just not the spinning type 🙂

Final Takeaway
As you can see, we live in a time when anyone who wants to make a little (or a lot) of money can. Your local area is no longer the only area to make money. The entire world is at your fingertips through the use of many of the options mentioned in this post.
What is one skill you have that others could learn from? Think about what’s the one thing you actually love doing that people would want to pay you for? How can you take your side hustle idea and turn it into monthly income?
3…2…1… it’s go time my friends!

26. Uber Eats
Uber Eats

She taught herself how watching YouTube

If you love cooking, serving food, and entertaining at your own home, then get paid to do it for someone else. This can be fun and can often go from side hustle to full-time if you’re really good at it!

If you love “playing” computers, then help someone repair theirs and get paid for it. Note: You must know a little bit about computers 🙂
40. Computer Training

87. Sign Holder
Maybe you’re just not the spinning type 🙂

Can you believe there are 4,000 people following us? That’s amazing! We are so thankful for each and every one of you who keep up with Daily Victuri. We would not be here without all of your love and support for our blog.
That being said, we decided that we wanted to celebrate, and what better way than with our first official fic rec list? Writers are some of the biggest unsung heroes of the YOI fandom, and our love for Victuri writers reaches far and wide. We wanted to use this opportunity to highlight fics from all corners of Victuri fandom, so we reached out to you guys for suggestions and recs. The response was overwhelming! From you guys, we were able to create a list of fifty-five fics. We tried to compile a combination of fandom favorites along with some lesser known (but still wonderful!) ones, and we all hope that this will help you find your next favorite read.
All fics are being listed below the cut and are sorted into categories based on length.

Have More Faith in Me Than I Do by casinthongs
It's nearly midnight. Tomorrow morning is the day Yuuri has to give his speech in front of the entire class. He's not prepared at all. He can't do it. He can't. He can't.
Fortunately, Viktor thinks differently.

Wanted: Skating Lessons by slightlied
Wanted: Skating Lessons
Hi. I am Victor and I need to learn how to skate before Saturday. My parents have been paying for me to get skating lessons every week for the last fifteen years but I never actually attended any of the lessons and I spent the money on marble busts instead. Now they want me to perform to ‘Stammi Vicino’ at their wedding anniversary on Saturday.
If you can teach me, be here at Ice Castle tomorrow at 7:27am with an extra pair of skates. I am a fast learner (well, at least my dog Makkachin is–it took me only two weeks to teach him how to roll over) so I am pretty sure I will pick it up quickly. In return, I can teach you how to say some pick-up lines in Russian or tell you some facts about my love life. Whichever you prefer. Not both, though.
Yours sincerely,
Victor
PS. I’m a size 8
Or, Yuuri answers an ad he sees on Ice Castle's community board.
Victor Nikiforov May As Well Replace Your Smartphone by toganeshiro
Yuuri never thought by living with Victor Nikiforov, the living legend, would slowly reduce his need of his smartphone.
Doveglion (WIP) by reginar
Yuuri Katsuki would describe himself as a dime-a-dozen poet with a degree in comparative literature from Todai and only a couple of publications due to luck. By some miracle, he’d received an Asian Culture Council grant and a Bright scholarship to help him pursue MFA Creative Writing in America. He’d been so excited because he would be in the same country as his literary hero, V. Nikiforov, writer of countless, innovative poems.
Ever Dance With the Devil in the Pale Moonlight? (WIP) by miraculouskatsukii
It all started on the ice.
Well, that wasn’t entirely true, but it was close enough. Where it had really started was in Minako’s ballet studio, but where Yuuri had truly felt a pull, a strong attraction to his superpower for the first time had been on the ice.
And so, while raising his leg into a clumsy arabesque, begins his journey.
The Final Cut by lily_winterwood
It’s not even ten in the morning yet, and it is already shaping up to be the worst day of Yuuri Katsuki’s life.
BREAKING NEWS: Local Man Would Like To Date Other Local Man by counterheist
Viktor is an anchor for Channel 9 Action News and Yuuri does the weather. Probably Viktor draws hearts on the playback monitor. Most likely someone gets kissed in the rain.
All I'm Really Asking For is You by seventhstar
Episode 10, from Yuuri's point of view. Or, the story of how losing a bag of nuts led Katsuki Yuuri to propose marriage.
"They’re only nuts, but losing them feels like a physical blow. Yuuri drags Viktor back through Barcelona as the sun sets, eyes peeled in hopes that he’ll see the bag lying somewhere on the side of the road. They’re not anywhere, though, and when they reach the bench Yuuri knows he has to accept defeat.
He hates accepting defeat."
Spotlight by twisting_vine_x
He can't help how embarrassed he sounds as he tries to hide himself in the pillow, and Viktor's laugh is so lovely - and so helpless, so blatantly in love - that it has Yuuri squirming all over again, the wave of protectiveness stealing his breath away.
Oh, Viktor.
"I suppose that's fair, darling. I am pretty incorrigible."
He's smiling, as he says it, and his voice is light, but Yuuri knows better, now. He can hear that tiny, barely there, desperately hidden thread of self-doubt, as clearly as if Viktor were shouting it.
Am I too much?
Viktor doesn't need to say it for Yuuri to hear it. He's pretty sure Viktor's spent too long feeling like he's too much of something - too loud, too clingy, too needy - for him to just shrug it off.
Yuuri knows a little bit about self-esteem. He knows a little bit about trying to kick years of fucked up thinking. And he's damn well going to keep making sure that Viktor knows he can always be as too much as he wants to be.
Never Have I Ever (Been to Karaoke) by lucycamui
Drinking games and karaoke have never made for a better combination.
“Okay, my turn! Never have I ever made out with a picture of Victor Nikiforov!”
Yuuri choked on his glass of oolong, sputtering as Victor gently patted his back. Wiping his mouth with a napkin, Yuuri met Victor’s expectant eyes briefly and then reached out to take a sip of the beer.
He expected laughter, but instead got a view of Chris taking a large swig of his own drink.
And then of Victor picking up his own glass, tipping it to his lips.
Been a Long While, Remember Me? by sujing_sm
The door jingles right open.
A man steps right inside, panting and covered in sweat. It is almost time to close.
Viktor turns around from where he is cleaning the table tops. “Sorry, we’re closed...” The words dry by his throat when he sees who it is.
From the Ground Up (WIP) by Avocadodont
After the grueling trials of back-breaking training to the years undergone of studying scriptures, Yuuri Katsuki returns to his hometown Hasetsu with the newly honorable title as a paladin. Even with this tremendous success, Yuuri finds himself longing to explore everything that lies beyond the horizon, intending on taking whatever (or whoever) along for the thrill.
Red Thread by c0rnfl0wer
When the goddesses of Fate weave thread into their cloth, it is to determine the lives and deaths of mortals. When Viktor weaves thread into cloth on the rare occasion, it is to protect Yuuri in every way he knows how, even from his own self-doubts. Tradition says that embroidery can determine the fortune, safety, and happiness of humans, and Viktor isn’t one to pass up on any opportunity to help Yuuri, especially a tradition so embedded into his life.

Little Things by dramaticagain
Viktor accidently let all those little things slip out of his mouth. All of the little things that he loved about Yuuri were out in the open. He looked over to where Yuuri was standing, expecting him to be angry was revealing such intimate things to the reporter. But, to his surprise, Yuuri looked at him with one distinct expression; love.

Nothing to Make a Fuss About. It’s Just Russia’s Best Kept Secret by GwenChan
"For years Victor Nikiforov’s secondary gender had been one of the best kept secrets in all of Russia."
Yuri struggles with his being an alpha. Victor has kept his status as omega secret for years. Their relationship is nevertheless bound to be affected by their second gender.
Through A Mirror Darkly (WIP) by Chessala
And so he made himself comfortable and signaled Viktor to do the same. He smiled at his new acquaintance, who seemed to relax at Yuuri’s expression.
“So Viktor, tell me about you….it’s not fair that you know me and I don’t know anything about you…”
Viktor smiled and got a bit more comfortable himself. He stretched out his hand to press it against the cool surface of the mirror again before asking Yuuri silently to do the same. When Yuuri placed his hand over Viktor’s, the other boy started talking in a soft voice laced with sadness.
“Once a month, when there is a full moon, I can look into your world…..”
When 13-years old Yuuri finds a mirror in the hot springs storage room, he certainly didn't expect to meet a boy called Viktor through it. What he expected even less was the way in which this meeting would twist his life in the years to come.
This Night is Flawless by flowercrownyuri
Prince Yuuri can't see anything without his glasses. It normally isn't an issue, but when Yuuri goes to the royal ball without them he can't see the man who captures his attention that night and can only remember him by his voice. Determined to find the 'mystery man', Yuuri goes through the entire town in hopes of finding the one who won his affections. But what happens when said mystery man turns out to be a beautiful guy named Victor, and why is he acting like they met before last night?
Icicles Melt in Summer (WIP) by Shadow_sensei
Victor Nikiforov. Oddly, no matter how many times Yuuri repeats the name to himself, it still sounds beautiful, the r rolling off his tongue and the v melting on the tips of his lips like a mint. But more to the point, Victor Nikiforov, model for the Agape shoe and accessory line and face of Stammi Vicino Menswear, is sitting in one of his chairs.
Or, the one where model Victor Nikiforov is searching for his raison d'être in Brooklyn, New York, and finds much more than that in a small, jasmine-scented hair salon.
Katsuki Yuuri vs The World (WIP) by HopefullyAnAuthor
Yuuri squinted at his phone screen, trying to work up the motivation to trawl through more than a few words of the overly long email, which seemed to be written in purple, but he blamed his headache for that.
Dear Sir,
I am writing to inform you of a challenge blah blah blah you have made a move on V blah blah blah the league is waiting blah blah blah blah prepare for death blah blah many battles will follow blah blah blah blah blah
Yours, blah blah
“Just SPAM, I think.”
In Space Between (WIP) by lunaetude
Viktor’s given up his whole life to space, and space is what makes Yuuri feel alive.
So it begins.
On Top of the World by springsoldier (ladydaredevil)
In which Victor doesn’t believe in secret identities, Yuuri’s not quite sure how any of this happened and together, they fight crime! (Also the supervillain community as a whole is pretty harmless.)
Of Loving Katsuki Yuuri by kireiflora
Loving and living with Yuuri wasn’t quite as simple a road as Victor had anticipated, but it would always be worth it. That’s not to say that it was smooth sailing for Yuuri either, but neither of them would rather have it another way. Even if they were on completely different pages now and again, or if they have bad days and snap at each other, at the end of the day they were together and they were happy.
The Ebb and Flow of Your Heart (WIP) by Avocadodont
An Alternate Universe in which Viktor Nikiforov is the curator of a popular aquarium by the ocean in San Francisco and Yuuri Katsuki is an art student.
Look How We've Grown by maydei
Victor’s been alive for thirty years, but every day with Yuuri brings new surprises. Life. Love. Fun. Family. Yuuri’s presence in his life has brought them all, and Victor wouldn’t trade it for the world.
10K TO 20K
Stay Close to Me by dasedandconfused
At the Grand Prix Final, Yuuri misses the podium by fractions of a point. Embroiled in a skating controversy, he tells himself he'll prove his worth in the World Championships, but there's a long time in between.
Or: Vicchan lives.
Hippogriffs Soar When the Lake is Frozen (WIP) by myglassballoon
"There will be substantially more Quidditch this year.”
Soon after that announcement Yuuri can't believe his luck when Hogwarts Quidditch legend Victor Nikiforov asks him to join his team, Mila finally gets a chance to talk to her crush, and Yuri P. starts to realise that Victor's forgetfulness might actually have done him a favour for once.
The L Words by nihonlove
"Yuuri, you may not realize this, but many others besides me got their 'L words' from you."
Or: Five times someone had a one-sided crush on Katsuki Yuuri, and one time the crush was mutual.
Some Might Call It Fate (WIP) by Chessala
The Katsuki family moves to Russia after they had to close their Hot Springs temporarily. Little Yuuri (3) has to go to a new Kindergarten where he doesn't know anyone. He sees a picture of an ice skater on the wall of his new Kindergarten and is instantly fascinated. He loved ice skating so maybe he can be friends with the person that drew this picture. But how can he talk to them?
Never Tasted Rubies by ebenroot
Phichit puts up a poll on the radio website. It reads ‘What Do U Think About Yuuri K. from Hasetsu Nights and the Mysterious Caller Victor?’
Seventy-five percent of listeners said ‘lol they should just f*ck already tbh’.
(in which Yuuri is an unwilling radio host and Victor won't stop calling in to chat with him)
Kings in Couture (WIP) by slightlied
a devil wears prada au in which victor is the editor-in-chief of a fashion magazine, yuuri's his new secretary, and instead of talking about his feelings, victor just sends him on a bunch of errands
“Okay, okay. Ready.” Yuuri starts scribbling as the voice on the other end, someone from the Style and Trends department, relays instructions. “Sorry, can you please spell ‘Gabbana’?”
The person on the line promptly hangs up on him.
Awkwardly, he sets the phone back on the receiver. “Guess not.”
You'll Be My Offbeat (WIP) by littlemusings
The last thing Yuuri Katsuki wants is a repeat of his disastrous audition for City University’s most prestigious a cappella group, The Symphonics. After the video of a cover he performs at an open mic night goes viral, Victor Nikiforov (two-time best soloist & three-time best arrangement awardee for the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, YouTube musician, and CU dream boy) seeks him out to give him another chance.
Affettuoso (WIP) by gandmvsm
Victor Nikiforov had been raised in the world of classical music, was born breathing in Tchaikovsky and Stravinsky, a tiny violin tucked under his chin before he could walk and talk. It was no wonder that he was a prodigy - how could he not be, when every moment of his life was centered around music?
Katsuki Yuuri was no such prodigy, but had been driven since the age of 10 by one goal: "I want to perform with him."
(Or, the one where Yuuri is a music performance major with anxiety to spare, Yuri Plisetsky is a bitter second violinist, Victor makes everything look easy, and Phichit is a Good Friend.)
This Body Overflowing (WIP) by EmilianaDarling
Yuuri has never wanted to be Victor Nikiforov.
He wants to be owned by him instead; wants the whole world to see Victor in every move that he makes, like invisible handprints all over his skin.
If I Gave You My Heart by espritneo
Or, how Yuuri Katsuki woos Victor Nikiforov back.
In which, Victor is head over heels in love and prefers self-denial over communication. Yuuri is oblivious and accidentally an asshole.
Crust and Sugar Over (WIP) by ShanaStoryteller
Katsuki sits cross-legged, clearly in no hurry to go anywhere. “What’s your name? I’m –”
“I know who you are,” he cuts him off, then blushes, then hates himself for both those things. Katsuki looks surprised, and Yuri can’t think as to why. He’s a nationally ranked figure skater. He’s Yuri’s favorite figure skater.
Yuuri and Yuri become friends and Viktor develops a crush.
Ivan da Maria (WIP) by c0rnfl0wer
Rusalka: a living-dead aquatic spirit in folklore that varies in their attitude toward humans.
Navka: a subdivision of the Rusalka, known for its charming cruelty.
Viktor never minded when human civilization built up around him, or when other spirits began sharing the waters with him. He easily dominated every tradition that the centuries presented; that was what he minded. No one wants to be known for tragedy. No one wants to be subjected to loneliness and despair forever. No one wants to drag their beloved one down. Everyone wants a happy ending, even if it isn't in their nature.
20K TO 40K
Fatum ad Momentum (WIP) by maydei
These are the moments that were lost in the rush for the Gold, and the things that were built within them. A re-evaluation of everything, from day one, the real day one. From, "Be my coach, Victor!!" And how trust, friendship, and love were built from there. Through Victor's eyes, the story unfolds—the journey and experience of knowing Yuuri.
Constellations (Things You Left Unsaid) (WIP) by DasWarSchonKaputt
What is Katsuki Yuuri’s greatest asset when competing? If you ask the media, they’ll tell you it’s his flair for artistry, something that shines through in his earnest, winning performances. If you ask Yuuri, he’ll tell you that it’s his coach, Celestino, and the answer will sound as fake as it is.
The truth, though, is something that Yuuri has always known. He wouldn't be half the skater he is without his prescription for anti-anxiety medication.
[AKA a role reversal au, wherein Yuuri is a figure skating legend in the making - mostly made, or so they say - who decides to take a season off at the peak of his career, and Victor is the runaway-cum-international student from Russia who joins his university and cons Yuuri into becoming his coach. Featuring Phichit Chulanont as the worst (best) friend ever, and Yuri Plisetsky as Yuuri's self-proclaimed Arch Rival.]
Speed Dating (Let's Take it Slow) (WIP) by APaletteFullofYou
“Why like this?” Yuuri asks, breaking the silence.
Phichit grins. “Because desperate times call for desperate measures. And if you haven’t noticed, we’re desperate.
Tired of watching Georgi mull over his recent breakup, Viktor and the gang take him speed dating, hoping one of the twenty-something strangers could help fill the hole in his heart.
Now if only he could stop crying.
A Choreographer's Dilemma (WIP) by Mysecretfanmoments
After their well-publicised kiss at the Cup of China, Viktor asks Yuuri what he wants him to be again. The answer may be different this time, but saying "yes" to a relationship doesn't mean you know how to have one.
Correspondence (WIP) by Watermelonsmellinfellon
Victor Nikiforov agreeing to partner with Penned Pals for a season, had to be the best decision of his and Katsuki Yuuri's lives. It brought them together after all.

Premier Dans Mon Coeur (WIP) by aphhun
Viktor Nikiforov is the top standard for men's figure skating, aiming to win his sixth consecutive Grand Prix Series. However, he's been lacking inspiration in recent years.
Yuuri Katsuki is the newest premier danseur of the Bolshoi Ballet, and accompanies Lilia to assist in training the up and coming Yuri Plisetsky. All the while, Yuuri's trying to prepare for his own debut.
Neither of them exactly expected to find something this special in Yubileyny Sports Palace. Somehow, they're exactly what the other needed.
Dear True Love (WIP) by cityboys
Victor is a writer pretending to be on a break; Yuuri is a pianist pretending to not be on a break.
They meet, somehow, in the backwaters of Saga Prefecture, Japan.
Call Everything on the Ice… by shysweetthing
Victor learns Japanese while in Hasetsu. He doesn't tell Yuuri, and things get dicey when he overhears Yuuri and Mari talking about him in Japanese. Repeatedly.
(The subtitle of this fic should be: Victor Nikiforov really needs a hug. Luckily, he gets one. Eventually.)
“No,” Victor says, skating up to Yuuri on the ice, “you have to push all the way from here, or you’ll never get the height you need for that axel.” He sets his hand on Yuuri’s ass, tracing the muscle group he’s referring to. “Not here.” He taps Yuuri’s thigh. He doesn’t know the words for the muscles in English, only knows how to show him.
Yes, technically he’s grabbing Yuuri’s ass, but how else is he to communicate?
Pacing Ourselves (WIP) by vermillion_crown
Introspection on intimacy from the perspective of a demisexual, flavored with friends who are social media menaces and some dirty touching later on.
(Yuuri's trying to figure out his life after Viktor Nikiforov smashes into it like a meteor, and Phichit can't decide whether to help or laugh.)

The Rules For Lovers (WIP) by ADreamingSongbird
Prince Yuuri Katsuki has a duty to his country, above all else (his desires, his dreams, and his happiness included), and he knows this alliance will help to ensure the safety of his people. That’s the only reason he accepts Prince Nikiforov’s hand in marriage. The pleasant surprise, of course, is the part where they fall in love along the way. The unpleasant one, well…
That’s a long story.

Beside the Dancing Sea by lily_winterwood
He’s finally here in this lovely and quiet little beach cottage, and the rest of the year seems to stretch out infinitely before him. Time will pass, though, and it will pass faster than he realises, but in the meantime he will stop worrying about writer’s block and deadlines and not even having the foggiest clue what his next novel’s going to be about, and live.
New York Times-bestselling author Viktor Nikiforov arrives in the sleepy seaside town of Torvill Cove to cure his writer's block. After encountering local wallflower Yuuri Katsuki at a party, he discovers that this mysterious dark-haired man has a couple secrets up his sleeve.
And Viktor will be damned if he doesn't find out just what those secrets are.
all the world's a stage by braveten
Everyone has a guilty pleasure.
For Yuuri, it just happens to be romance movies starring famous heartthrob Victor Nikiforov.
(And, honestly, on the spectrum of guilty pleasures, he figures that his is on the far, far more innocent side.)
Until My Feet Bleed and My Heart Aches by Reiya
‘…Of all the rivalries in the world of sports over the years, perhaps none has become so legendary as that of Russian figure skater Viktor Nikiforov and his rival, Japanese Yuuri Katsuki…’
A single event changes the course of Yuuri’s life, throwing him into a bitter rivalry with Viktor Nikiforov that spans across his entire skating career. But as the years go on, rivalry and hatred begin to develop into something very different and Yuuri doesn’t seem to be able to stay away, no matter how hard he tries.
Hatred and love are two sides of the same coin and even though everything changes, some things are still meant to be.

Hey Entrepreneurs,I'm not sure how this will do but thought I'd take the time this Friday evening to write it up anyway. Maybe it will help 1 or 2 of you.So first off, while it’s been covered a ton around here, I thought I’d share some advice on getting started if you haven’t yet. Secondly, for those of you running marketing companies -- or wanting to -- I wanted to share my two cents on the model I see rising around me and hopefully inspire some of you to start something better, and more lean. This may help others as well -- many of the tenants here likely apply to numerous concepts.A promise: I will not share or link to my own company. I've also deleted any posts pertaining to it for now. If any of you want to talk about marketing (digital or traditional) I welcome you to reach out and my partner and I would be happy to talk. But we'll skip on that for now.The Basics:If you've been playing the 'wantrepreneur' game for a while, there are few basic tenants that I strongly encourage you to follow. These are based on 5+ years of failed endeavors (small successes, inevitable abandonment or dissolution) and a lot of learning.Rule 1:The John Lee Dumas method: F.O.C.U.S. -- Follow One Course Until Success. When I was getting started in the 'break out on your own' journey, I threw a lot of ideas at the wall. These included a dance pole dropshipping company, a medical startup that did fine for a few years but inevitably went out due to regulations, learning to code iOS and releasing a relatively successful app with NO plan to monetize, multiple blogs, info sites, etc. None of which made me rich. What I was ignoring all along were my core competencies. I got started in my 9-5 career doing marketing and rose in the ranks at my agency. I was good with clients, confident in my guidance, honest.... I also didn't see much upside in that field for me.After all those failures above, one thing I hadn't done was try to be a marketer on my own. When I finally did this -- with full focus and an honest swing every day -- I did better than I ever had before. I was able to stack up clients within just a few months and working for myself (ahem... 'freelancing') I was able to create a portfolio that netted me nearly $20k/month by the time things were fully in gear. This was 100% full time me working. While this allowed me to finally start saving and putting some real dollars towards the 'next big thing', it also reminded me of Rule 2.Rule 2:The E Myth. Believe in it.If you haven't read (or in my case, scanned through) The E Myth by Michael Gerber, head down to your local Half Priced Books or Amazon and pick up the paperback. This is invaluable if you're considering starting a business where YOUR OWN SKILLS are the core product. The basic takeaway for me from The E Myth was as follows: Selling your own skills as a business is no business at all.Yes, you can make money, but it becomes incredibly difficult (impossible) to scale such a model. As clients or customers begin to see the sheer quality of your work, if you can't figure out a way to train others and sell that business at an equal pace, you're stuck. Nobody can buy a business from you if you're the only valuable asset -- if you yourself are the product. There are no vacations in that model, there is a cap on income, there is the always lurking dread of burnout.Freelancers can (as I did) do well on their own. And in today's world, businesses are more and more open to hiring skilled freelancers as well. The struggle, then, is when those freelancers begin thinking themselves to be Entrepreneurs. I'm sure I'll get heat for this but personally I don't see freelancing as true entrepreneurship. It's -- at least -- rarely a viable business "model".Which brings us to Rule 3:Rule 3:Visualize a model.Yes, putting a pinup on your wall may help motivate you but of course, I'm speaking about a business model. If you find that you're highly skilled in providing a service, it's crucial that every day you dedicate time to exploring how to remove yourself from that service. This is done with a model.Every component of your successful service -- from onboarding, defining SLAs, establishing KPIs, day by day execution, etc. -- should be replicable. Now, this may still require skilled people to replicate (and that's fine if so) but it should still inevitably be a model that you'd be comfortable handing off if you knew the person following your steps was going to do just that.By having a model, you can begin to scale. Sure, you may be a fantastic PPC specialist, SEO, social marketer, landscaper(?), etc..... and it's okay if you just want to keep doing that -- I'm sure there are always clients you can find -- but to reach that next step of being a bonafide business owner, it's important that you understand how you could bring on ONE MORE CLIENT and go past your own time limitations. This means hiring. And to hire, you need a model.Rule 4:Have a brand.Stop rolling your eyes you successful readers. I know many of you see this one as pretty damn obvious. Even having a personal website listing your services is a start -- but for me it wasn't enough.Taking the time, the days and weeks, to construct a brand including domain, logo, website, pages, contact info, ethos, and most importantly, unique value proposition, is a major step up for establishing trust and it's a sign of your own skill-sets for your future clients. For me, this meant the following to get it done: Namecheap Domain & Hosting, Wordpress (installed via 'cPanel' from that hosting), a theme from ThemeForest (~$60), design using my own chops along with some free tools (Pexels, FlatIcon, etc.), and a hell of a lot of elbow grease. You probably have seen this on here, but you may like this site as well: growthsupply.com.Now, I personally have years of experience in web marketing so none of this was exactly French for me. But I also believe anybody can do this. Much of what you'll do is just a matter of taking a minute to read an FAQ and start. There's no coding involved and you can do this.Final rule.Rule 5:Just start, Jackass. If it takes you a year to get things ready to show somebody, fine. Next year you wont have to think about all that anymore, it'll finally be behind you and you're on your way.Now On to Marketing as a Service. My Personal Thoughts on Agencies, and Why I'm Writing This:Talk to most business owners who have worked with agencies and you’ll find that there is most often (80/20 rule) a bad taste in their mouths. Telling people you run a ‘marketing business’ almost comes out like a dirty word. The issue is this: Most marketing companies – by model – can’t inevitably provide a very high tier of service to clients when utilizing employees. The basic reason is salary caps (and therefor experience caps) by model… Here’s why.Consider that by some estimates, over 50% of small businesses spend less than $300/month on marketing. Not that that means those are your target customers, but it’s worth keeping in mind. In my experience, an average client at an agency who accepts a range of monthly spends ($3k - $50k+/mo.), is still just around $5k.Let’s say a small agency has 20 clients spending $5k/month. That’s $100k/month average. That agency likely has at least 10 employees to manage that $5k/month average client spend so that leaves $10k/month in total per employee revenue. Calculating CEO and other executive salary, costs of doing business, taxes, etc…. there is an obvious cap on how much that company can inevitably pay any individual employee. The problem becomes a bit more clear here… When you consider that the median salary for a marketing specialist today is around $60k ($5k/month), the agency model where employees are utilized to handle most of the lifting (strategy, client management, and execution) becomes untenable. Eventually, those employees become skilled and want a raise that the company just can’t meet – especially in more expensive metros where agencies tend to thrive. The result? High employee churn and entry level employees managing the execution for a client.Yes, many agencies do well but many that are beginning to establish themselves as the next generation of agency rely on technology (like brand mention monitoring for example) instead of traditional service work to make their dollars. Here’s Where I’m Heading:I personally started my freelance career in a WeWork location here in Austin. I met over 100 amazingly skilled and passionate marketers who had left their agency due to career stagnation to run their own business. The future of marketing lies in this workforce. Now, you probably immediately jumped to questioning the quality of oDesk, Fiverr, etc. It’s so easy to claim marketing expertise. There aren’t professional degree requirements here and, often, marketers allow for that ‘magic’ belief on the client end to get by with doing shoddy work.I’m not talking about those people, I’m talking about using the new workforce. My company has been striding forward by using exactly these people to do the work, at a pay that is baked into our model (by not having all of the overhead and being transparent about how we pay the people we bring into our collective) and by leading internally on the client management and goal setting side.Which brings me back to my opening rules. My belief is that the new agency model will rely on internal executive level strategic leadership (essentially consulting and relationship management) and allowing the distributed workforce – under watchful eyes – to bring power to the operation. This means that skilled freelancers can do less client search and client management and more sheer execution. For enterprising companies (and of course, I’m a bit biased) it means a scalable model that relies on a bulletproof methodology for client onboarding, goal-setting, project management, and reporting. More transparency all around, less internal execution necessary.I know that the ‘marketers’ around here are only a fraction of our community but I really hope some of you found this helpful or at least interesting food for thought. I’ll do my best to reply to comments and respect the critical feedback in advance. Thanks for reading.

Can you be my Easter rabbit?
Can you be my Easter bunny? Coniglio in Italian, koneho in Tagalog? What more else could you ask kababayan? In Philippines were not used to eat this dish because rabbit is our pet. I remember when I was young at our neighbour they raised like 30 rabbits in a cage. I used to fed them with a grass every time I passed by there to get some firewood’s when my Papa ask me to gathered some firewood’s. Last Easter Sunday we celebrated our First Easter in my Parents in law in Fabriano Italy. Due also to a top secret health reasons why were in and out every month in Italy. Well just quick brief for that because the main reason why I am writing now is this cute rabbit that I am going to make. I had uploaded already a video via Instagram unfortunately I can not download yet in Youtube I do not know yet whats going on. Beside I am still in shit situation. But as I said earlier in my previous post yet I am still alive hehehe…. Hurray now I am writing again despite of lacking of the inspiration.
Tumblr media
Crispy lamb along with the potatoes would you joined me?
The only remedy my sweet revenge option is being in the kitchen because I knew to my self the moment I am in my kitchen I felt I live in the Mars. My Italian mother in law already love the cooking of my lamb cooked in 2 ways first sauté in the pan then to the oven. My father in law applauded that and I got a good compliment because he said he doesn’t like eating at home with a lamb meat. Well be my guess I am the one that made him eat it. So my Mom put out in her 11 refrigerator a meat which actually she thought it was a chicken, accidentally it was a rabbit as I’ve seen they had this cute little legs aha and the head ….oh my its hideous made me cry and want to cuddle it because its a pet for me….. Anyway as I continue touching my journey to this cute rabbit ah hehehe finally i get over it. Making my prep finally letting out all the ingredients in the fridge.
Tumblr media
Just bake from the oven wahoo and success how juicy and soft it was.
I might not sound funny now but who cares?no one will care aside of my precious husband now that cheers me up. I cant help it but keep shouting my head how I am deeply disappointed to my family. For the last 2000 from now its been 18 years I become a bread winner to my family. I got married last 2014 from then onward I can not afford to pay all the bills that they consumed with my 2 brothers both had 2 wives and 7 children inside the compound in my house. I cant just help it but I was in huge agony of having anxiety attack/panic attack. Because I have an income of 20k per month in my other house plus my salon was bankrupt so I renovated it for 2 spaces 5k each per month so its 10k right and now their a small bakery and roasted grilled house.
Before crying huhuhu
After crying with eyebrow
But since I am still nice that I renovated too a small room for my brothers so they have a house with an extra metered for their own electricity bills. So can I have a little applause now? Whose the bitch guys? Can you call me a bitch? The witch is the wife of my brother posting nasty things in her Facebook wall.  I am not sorry if I may sound yawning now,who cares this just my documentary online diary. Beside no one will care in Facebook to read this blog the only people that matters to me now is the people who cares and gives attentions of what I felt. So I must shout out now in my cooking blog of what I feel. In the end I can call my self I am a pensioner but unfortunately I do not received a cash of my own income because my mother has it. My son is shouting often how hungry he was and wants to do something to spent in our income but we cant because my mother is paying the bills for everybody. 70k electricity payment for 2 years be my guess. So sorry, am I?

10 most common keyword planning mistakes to avoid
Don't fall short of these common search marketing mistakes
It seems almost too easy at first. It really does. You find a keyword tool and you type in whatever search term that comes to mind. Voilà! Like magic, you find out how many people are searching for your keyword, as well as a whole slew of other useful statistics like the keyword’s average cost per click, competition, suggested bid, and other data – depending on which keyword tool you’re using.
However, before you get too ahead of yourself and pick a keyword to target, know that there is more to keyword planning than meets the eye. There are a lot of nuanced factors you might not have accounted for that can entirely change your keyword strategy. To make sure you get it right from the get-go, here are ten common mistakes that you’ll want to steer clear of.
1. Not realizing that Google Keywords Planner can give more accurate results
Let’s kick things off with one of the most basic mistakes you can make. The first keyword planning tool you’ll probably start using is Google Keyword Planner. This is Google’s own planner after all, so you’d be right to think that it’s one of the most popular and reliable options available.
If you quickly sign up for a Google AdWords account (in order to access the keyword planner) and type in “content marketing,” this is what you’ll see:
The “Avg. monthly searches” column shows a range of 10K – 100K. That’s a pretty wide range, isn’t it? Fortunately, you can get a more specific estimate if you have an AdWords campaign running. Once you have it set, wait a day or two and you’ll begin getting more accurate numbers like this:
Much better! However, there’s a good chance you don’t want to be spending a ton of money on an AdWords campaign just yet – after all, you don’t even know what keywords you’re targeting! To save yourself money, set a very low daily budget and put filters so that your ad is only displayed a few times a day. You do need ad impressions though, or else you won’t be able to access the more accurate keyword statistics.
2. Not distinguishing singular from plural
Google Keyword Planner lumps plural and singular keywords together. If you put in “whiteboard animation” or “whiteboard animations” in the planner, both will yield results for what appears to be the keyword’s singular form, as shown here:
While you might think Google results are exactly the same for both the singular and plural form of a keyword, they’re surprisingly not. Try testing this out yourself. You will most likely see similar, but slightly different results for whatever keyword you’re searching for.
Unfortunately, Google no longer gives you the ability to tell whether the singular or plural form of a keyword is more popular. The good news is, both SEMrush’s and Moz’s keyword planners are worthy alternatives that give you this data. Here are the keyword results for “whiteboard animation” when using SEMrush’s keyword tool:
Amazingly, “whiteboard animation” is searched for 2,400 times per month while “whiteboard animations” is searched for only 110 times per month. Good thing we made this distinction before we ranked for the plural version of this keyword!
3. Ignoring search trends
It’s easy to fixate on the total average monthly search volume and ignore any potential variation in monthly volume over the past year.
To be fair, most of the time the volume numbers are pretty consistent from month to month, but it’s always better to play it safe and take a quick look. Many keyword tools already have this information neatly shown on a graph right there for you so it’s not too much extra work.
Some keywords may have gradually increasing search volume while others may have gradually decreasing search volume, and you may be able to extrapolate those trends to make decisions about which ones to target. The volume of certain keywords may also exhibit seasonality, perhaps being more popular during one season than another.
4. Not accounting for keyword match types and location
If you have a knack for paying attention to detail, you might have noticed the huge discrepancy in volume for the keyword “whiteboard animation” across different keyword tools in the examples earlier.
Google shows 12,000 searches per month while SEMrush shows 2,550 searches per month if we include both singular and plural versions of the keyword. So what’s going on here?
Really, there are two major factors creating this discrepancy. The first is match type. I suggest learning about each match type by reading none other than Google’s own support page. Google Keyword Planner defaults to a broad match type while SEMrush defaults to a phrase match type.
The other factor is location. Google defaults to including searches from the entire globe while SEMrush defaults to only including those from within the United States. Once you account for both of these differences, you’ll get volume numbers that are far more in alignment with each another. The key is to contextualize your results and be careful when making assumptions about your keywords data.
5. Underestimating long-tail keywords
Long-tail keywords are more specific search phrases that usually get less traffic, but will have a higher conversion rate. For instance, ResumeGo doesn't target generic keywords like “resumes” or “CVs”. Instead, they shoot for long-tail keywords like “professional resume writing services.”
While we would easily get more traffic if we were ranked for the keyword “resume,” most people who enter that into the search bar aren’t really looking to buy a resume. They might be more interested in, say, learning about resume tips or finding resume templates. On the other hand, people who search for the long-tail keywords that we target would almost certainly be interested in our resume writing services, or else they wouldn’t have searched for those specific keywords to begin with.
It’s easy to underestimate long-tail keywords due to their lower search volumes. However, contrary to what many might think, long-tail keywords actually make up about 70% of total searches so be sure to have your eye out for them!
6. Failing to realize that being on page two means nothing
Think about how frequently you visit the second page of Google’s search results. Not too often right? You might even have a hard time remembering the last time you did it.
If you’re going to target a keyword, be sure to aim for the first page, because according to studies like Chitika's, the front page collectively gets 91.5% of a keyword’s traffic. Page two only get 4.8%.
7. Not doing enough research
Some keyword tools give you data that miraculously shows how difficult a keyword is to rank for. For instance, Moz’s Keyword Explorer has a difficulty and opportunity statistic as shown below:
While this might seem super useful, and maybe it is to some degree, it’s important to take this number with a grain of salt. A more thorough way of studying your competition would be through MozBar. This tool allows you to research your potential competitors’ backlinks and examine other metrics. From there, you can decide whether or not you can compete with them in the SEO game.
8. Judging difficulty solely based on page authority and links
Many people use MozBar or a similar tool to assess keyword difficulty by looking at the page authorities (PA) of the competition. It’s tempting to conclude that if the first page of the keyword “infographics” is littered with 70-80 PA results, then it’d be far harder to rank for that keyword than “essay writing,” for which the first page might have results with only 50-60 PA.
Making that assumption can be quite misleading. This is because some keywords are harder to build links for than others. For instance, someone could devise a strategy where they create free infographics for high authority blogging sites and, in return, they’re rewarded with a lot of links back to their own site with the anchor text “infographics.” This could be a neat strategy, and one that can get you a lot of links fast. However, this same strategy can’t be applied to rank for a keyword like “essay writing.”
Despite a keyword having competitors with high PAs, sometimes it might still be easy to rank for depending on what SEO strategies you have in mind for that particular keyword.
9. Not identifying your goal
When we talk about keyword difficulty, what exactly are we referring to? Are we referring to how difficult it is to get onto the first page? How difficult it is to be among the top three results? Or how difficult it is to seize that very first spot?
For some keywords, it might be fairly reasonable to get onto the first page, but nearly impossible to beat the top three results. This is why it’s so important to clearly lay out what your SEO goals are for each keyword, and then assess the difficulty of achieving those specific goals. For some tougher keywords, you might be able to generate a nice revenue stream simply by being in fourth or fifth place in the search results.
On the other hand, for other keywords – maybe long-tailed ones that have less volume – only by being the top result would you get enough visitors for the SEO effort to be worth your while.
10. Not realizing that your competitors are getting new links too
It’s really natural to look at a competitor’s PA and links, and say to yourself, “I can beat that, just give me four months!”  It’s awesome to have that kind of confidence, but don’t forget that your competitors are constantly building links too. By the end of four months, you might have the same quality links as your competitors had back then, but maybe your competitors have been gaining links even more quickly than you, and now you’re even further behind.
Assessing difficulty is more than just thinking about the PA and links of your competitors now. It’s about gauging where they’ll be in the future, and whether you can accumulate links faster than they can.
A great way of seeing how active a site is with its SEO efforts is to use Moz’s “Just Discovered” feature, as shown below:
As you can see, Neil Patel’s site has been getting a ton of recent links. You definitely wouldn’t want to compete with this guy! If you did, you would want to learn the techniques he is using.
Conclusion
Keyword planning is a lot like playing chess. There are so many different options available, it’s impossible to know for certain whether you’ve made the right move. All you can do is think critically, research your opponent, understand yourself, and then make whatever move you think is best.

4. Airbnb
Did you know you can rent your room or house out at Airbnb? They have been around since 2008 and millions of people have been renting out their rooms or entire homes to travelers from all over the world. Airbnb

Maybe you just don’t feel like driving people around in your car or maybe you don’t even have a car.

I have a single friend who has a $1,200 mortgage and he consistently earns $2,000+ every month by renting out room(s) in his house via Airbnb. Fun fact – he applies the extra cash towards his mortgage each month!

BONUS $10 with Ebates Right Now
  9. Honey App
Honey is a free app that will search for online coupons and apply them to your online shopping cart to make sure you are saving the most money.
You can learn more about the Honey App with our full review here.
Honey App

26. Uber Eats
Uber Eats
She taught herself how watching YouTube

If you are unique, then you deserve some unique side hustles. Some of these are extremely cool, but a few of them…well I am still waiting for you to try.
