This is for @bluepeachstudios ‘s Ghost in a Shell. It’s really good you should read it.
I looked at exactly one picture of Jupiter Jim and went “yeah this should be enough to draw him.” I will not be answering if it actually was

....while I haven't played the ubisoft avatar game myself, or more accurately, I have obsessively played the x360 one, I doubt it could be better than the Ancient Forest of Monster Hunter World.
I have. Never seen a jungle location be this layered, vertical and complex, while also remaining extremely readable. Like, there'a and easy route around the map and insides of a giant tree in the center of it, to act as a crossing or shortcut. However, the actual map is... so much more detailed than just this.
There are vine swing-jumping sections which open up new pathways for you, there are less noticeable vines to climb, which reveal new arboreal pathways ahead. There is an entire 'jungle-catwalk' section right near the dragon nest at the top of the giant tree. You cannot navigate these additional paths with map, it is much more simple and natural just to remember them and trust your memory on this.
It's just I have spawned in a rainy weather for the first time, and started exploring these vines, and this has been THE Avatar experience. Honestly no other game has ever made a more natural and interesting forest to explore than this one.
I genuinely did not anticipate this level of detail, beauty and meticulous attention to everything from a game about exterminating dinodragons. I picked it up for the Monster Hunter part of it the title, but let me tell you the World part is the actual gem of the game for me, I am in love with this.

#the joy i felt when getting through the jungle vine-swinging and exploring all while it was raining is hard to properly convey#i am super glad this is the time i stumbled into this game cause i needed exactly that#weapon upgrade tree is still stupid tho#but yeah otherwise im loving this game very very much#i want to spend an entire day petting jagras i love them#pukei the trashchild i despise and love hunting you#also that one riverbed near barroth with the flowers? i want to spend my vacation there it is so peaceful and gorgeous#thankfully the mudmonsters didn't trample the flowers#i succesfully stole a dragon egg yay i have no idea why i did it#this is very much a conquistador simulator you get to enjoy the unconwuered lands while simultaneously extracting them dry and bringing#extinction to everything living in there thankfully this is a game and it is fun but sometimes it still rubs me wrong#well learn the real monsters were humans all along#(ive heard that the lore suggests the mh organisations are actually very aware of ecological repercussions however this is not felt in game#monster hunter world#mh world#mhw#btw my cat squire is very stupid he always turns away from the camera literally always#guess thats what i get for naming him rootbeer i still love my little gremlin son he helps out a lot#unrelated - I would rather uninstall then game than ever change that skull helmet#i do really dislike that some elemental damage requires iron weapons because of that#i dont mind iron weapons but cmon insect glaive has my buddy on it he would be much more comfortable on a bone handle

i would like to see either nikolai or sigma's sentences please :3 /nf
THANK YOU!!! YOU ARE FUELING MY TWO FAVORITE THINGS!!!
under the cut bc length. [it got REALLY long]
anyways, nikolai and sigmas prison sentences as they would be in michigan.
note: i’m not using the wiki for this. i doubt it covers everything, so im going back through the manga and analyzing everything from there. aside from finding out manga appearances, everything else is research and pre-memorized info.
note 2: i may have made a few mistakes with the sentencing but it should be accurate enough give or take 10 years.
note 3: there’s no minimum sentence since majority of research i’m doing leads to me picking the minimum years since it usually states “punishable by life imprisonment or any number of years” which is unspecific and sucks so i just dropped the category

.
“Ted.” Beard’s voice could never be described as particularly forceful— nothing about him really could— but right now he wills it to be clear and strong. “You remember that night I called you, right after I got outta jail?”
Ted forces his way through another shaky breath. “...Yeah.”
It wasn’t right after he got out, really. The first thing he did when he got out was try to make his way home. It wasn’t until after he got the door slammed in his face there, after he tried and failed to find a couch to crash on nearby, after he couldn’t find a job, after he’d spent several miserable weeks sleeping on the streets in the dead of winter— only then did he call up Ted.
“You drove twelve hours round trip that night,” Beard recalls. “All the way up to Peoria then back down again. Just off one phone call.”
Ted’s still hunched over, his hands balled into fists and shaking, but he gives a weak laugh. “Uh-huh. Was a younger man then. Not sure I could pull that kind of all-nighter now.”
Beard pushes on. He has a point to make. “There’s one part about that night that’s always stuck with me. More than the rest, anyway.”
Ted hasn’t stopped shaking, but he manages to lift his head now, looking Beard in the eye. “Yeah?”
“You remember we had the oldies station on to keep you awake. Both of us belting our lungs out to the songs we heard on our parents’ records as kids.”
Ted smiles at that, a real smile, and Beard lets the satisfaction of that bolster him— Ted has always been a sucker for nostalgia. At the time, those old 70s songs they charmed themselves listening to felt like a world away from the present. Now, they’re old enough to start having nostalgia about their own 20-year-old nostalgia. Christ.
He’s never quite been able to put it into words, to Ted or to anyone else, but that night had seemed nothing short of magical to Beard. It had felt like decades since the last time he laughed that hard, watching Ted croon along in his best impression of [some lame 70s artist idk]. He was warm, and with a friend, and even the greasy fast food hamburgers they’d picked up tasted like ambrosia with how hungry he was, and it felt like he was leaving every single ounce of hardship and hurt behind in Peoria as they drove away.
That feeling wouldn’t last in the coming weeks, when Beard struggled and crumbled and the whole thing culminated in that godforsaken stolen car incident. But for that one night, he truly believed it.
Before that night, Beard had always been rather lukewarm on those old 70s songs that accompanied him along in his childhood— most of them were tied to childhood memories, and not all of them were particularly pleasant memories— but even despite that, he and Ted both knew every single word to most of the songs that came on the radio. And the sight of Ted shouting at the top of his lungs along to them, loopy and giggling as they approached five in the morning, just about wiped any bitter taste left out of Beard’s mouth.
“That was a good night,” Ted says now, quietly, his voice shaking with unshed tears. But he’s smiling.
“Yeah,” Beard agrees. “It really was.” He takes a breath. “You know, the part that’s— that’s really stuck with me?”
Ted nods, his smile broadening, already clearly seeing where this was going. “Dolly,” he says simply.
“Bingo, Ringo.” Beard finds it in him to mirror Ted’s growing smile back to him. “God, that was perfect timing.”
Ted laughs. “It really was. I’d have half a mind to think the DJ pulled that one on purpose.”
“I hope he did.”
They’d been on the road, somewhere in the middle of Missouri, when the sun started to rise. Even though they’d been shouting and laughing their way through the night, something about the clouds of pink and orange starting to creep their way over the horizon brought both of the young men to silence. And then, just as the blue of the daytime was starting to take over the purple of night, the most perfect song in the universe began to play on the radio.
It’s been a long, dark night, and I’ve been waiting for the morning…
Ted had broken out into a huge grin. “Aw, man,” he’d said. “I love Dolly.”
Beard hummed along an agreement, but couldn’t bring himself to say much, charmed by the appropriateness of the song. I can see the light of a clear blue morning, Dolly belted out, right as the blue morning did indeed open up in front of the two of them, urging them to leave everything painful behind them. Everything was gonna be alright, and everything was gonna be okay.
“You know,” Beard says, back in the present in the hotel room with Ted. “Now, every time I listen to that song, I always feel twenty-five again. Convinced that all the bad times are over and the world is nothing but my oyster.”
Ted laughs. “Me, too. Somethin’ about music, man. It’s got magic in it.”
“Sure does.” Beard looks down at Ted’s hands. They’re no longer shaking, so Beard takes them in his own.
“Ted,” he starts, his voice more serious-- he’s getting to the crux of it now, and he has to make sure Ted understands. “You know I owe you more than God himself.”
“Oh, come on, now.” Ted tries to slip his hands out of Beard’s grip, but Beard holds fast. “None of that.”
“It’s true.” Beard shakes his head. “But even if it weren’t, you know I’d still be here, yeah? You didn’t owe me anything when you drove straight through the night to pick me up and take me home. Me and Rebecca, and Roy, and everyone else— we’re not doing this out of any kind of obligation, okay? Or pity, or fear, or— or any of that. We’re doing this ‘cause when someone you care about is struggling, you hop in a car— or a plane— and you go to them. Surely you understand that. You have to. You’re the one who taught it to me.”
Beard’s worried he’s misstepped, because Ted’s hands are shaking again, but when he tries to let them go, Ted clings on tighter.
“I’m not used to this being the other way around,” Ted blurts out, and it’s clearly an admission, his eyes blown wide with fear. “I’m supposed to be the one who helps people. Not…”
“Not the one who needs help,” Beard finishes for him. “Yeah, I know, Teddy. I can feel it. But love never flows just one way, does it?”
Ted chuckles lightly. That’s a line he’s used on Beard, multiple times, throughout the past fifteen years. There’s been several times, now, where Beard has twisted himself up in sudden worry that Ted doesn’t understand how much Beard cares about him— not when Ted shows it and says it so easily, and Beard is so quiet about it. But every time he’s come to Ted about it, stumbling his way through half a sentence before his throat chokes up and keeps him from saying the rest, Ted’s been quick to assure him that he knows— after all, he always says, love never flows just one way.
Ted’s head flops down onto Beard’s shoulder, seeming to accept his own words being used against him, and Beard wraps his arms around his friend’s shoulders.
“Teddy,” Ted echoes, muttering it into Beard’s shirt. “Been a long time since you called me that.”
Beard hums into Ted’s hair. “Hm. Sure has.”
The melody to Clear Blue Morning is still bouncing around in Beard’s head. Everything’s gonna be alright.
Ted takes a breath.
It’s gonna be okay.

I kinda like but dislike that Rumiko and Sunrise (and fans) have never even mentioned that miko (priestesses) are virgins. And that their shinto ability to tend holy places comes from being unmarried virgins. In modern day I guess it is not really required but I kind of wish more people analyzed Kikyo, the dark priestess, Kaede and Kagome in that light.
Personally I think that due to the era Kagome would not be allowed to remain a miko after getting married and having a child. She would still be one of course due to her spiritual ability, but I think she would no longer be allowed to remain in that societal role.
Kagome is so spunky though that I see her rebelling against it. I think Kagome's strength in being outspoken is another great contrast between her and Kikyo. While Kikyo was confined by society and was only freed from expectation when she became an impure monster. Kagome was outspoken and loud to where she didn't have much of a societal role and yet remained 'spiritually pure.'
There is a huge theme of 'societal expectation' in Kagome, Inuyasha, and Kikyo that I think being a miko is a part of.
Personally I'm torn on Kagome loudly choosing to get married and have a child VS remaining a Miko and Kagome choosing to attempt to do both.
More thematic headcannons in the tag below..
#i think due to translation issues miroku is a monk but not a priest#inuyasha#kagome#kikyo#Here I am analyzing way too much into a series that probably didn't think that much about this all#And yet.. I feel like there is meaning between Sota saying Kagome got married and Rumiko never drawing them kissing#i think cannonly kikyo and kagome are not the same person.. but i think kikyo would view that they are.. maybe#the strides against misogyny in shinto japan is very interesting to look at because it is so different from western misogyny#i saw that post going around talking about periods in the feudal era and im like.. bro women were ostracized in a hut outside the village#i didn't comment on the post but i did think about and analyze it#on how the dirtyness of being a woman is the same as the dirty blood of a hanyo or the dirty blood of the burakumin class#personally i think inu's class is similar to half japanese (the original hanyo written in gegege kitaro was confirmed to be based off of it#and rumiko could not have taken the coined term 'hanyo' without being aware of the influence#but i also don't think rumiko was thinking that much about the relation between the two#personally if it were me though i'd theme inu on the spiritual dirtiness of his blood rather than him being a half race#((((((related but i also headcannoned inuyasha as a bastard . a literal one#((and i also headcannon that hte name 'inuyasha' was not his birth name. it was a name given to him by the villiagers he stole from--#-- as a child/teen and he decided to reclaim the insult because he was what means 'dog monster' much more than the name his mom gave him))#i think it's strongly implied even that Inuyasha is a bastard.. i never see anyone analyze that.#to analyze that even if inuyasha was born a human he would still be hated for existing :''''DDD#my posts that i made

ASKS hmmmmmmmm 5 / 8 / 20 ?
👀👀👀
I just need to say I love that these eye emojis are coming into my house sdkjnfjnkfknjf they're so big and for WHAT tumblr LOL! Saving 5 for the end so I can readmore the snippet!
8. Is there a story idea in your mental vault that you’ve never been brave enough to try writing? Is this the year? Can you tell us about it?
kjndfsnjkdfsknjfsd literally the only things I'm weird about writing are smut ideas okay!!! and they're not even that weird it's me i'm the problem!!!!!!!!! So idk, the LiandrinxReader fic will probably be a nice challenge for me on that front, and who knows, maybe this is the year the Hawkedith light bondage fic sees the light of day. oh actually you know what for a non-smut idea I've always wanted to do a tropey time travel fic! but i think i would make myself insane LOL. maybe this will be the year!!!
20. Any plans to work on original fiction this year?
OHOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! It's honestly so hard to choose and prioritize what to work on!!! I have 2 big original ideas, both of which I have rambled at you about extensively LOL. I think I can make a good chunk of progress on the nano nonsense fic this year, since the style is pretty firmly in my wheelhouse and I have a pretty strong idea of the main plot through-line. We'll see how I'm feeling, but I think once I get a few of my lingering fanfic projects done I'll be ready to focus on my original things again! Month-long challenges like nano actually work really well for me when I can manage them, so I might try to do something like that eventually to make some significant progress!
5. Which WIP is first on your list to complete this year? Will you post a snippet?
Again, it's soooooo hard to choose and prioritize!!! Scorched earth is in general my top priority because I just don't want to drag it out too long--before the most recent time my schoolwork beat me to death w a stick I was under the delusion that I could have it almost finished by the new year LOL! But since it's fairly simple in structure and I have it pretty clearly planned out, I mostly write chapters in one or two sittings. Second priority is advancing/finishing ghost of you, since the next chapter is literally almost done, I just got too busy to work on it. But instead I shall offer youuuuu Liandrin x Reader nonsense! It is once again a long snippet because I cannot just be normal.
--
You heard a lot about Liandrin Sedai during your first year or two as a Novice.  There was a rumor, never confirmed but nonetheless ubiquitous, that a Novice had died under Liandrin’s tutelage not long before you had arrived.  As a result, she was no longer permitted to teach Novices.  Furthermore, it was suggested, Novices would do well to avoid her.  Reasons for this varied somewhat, from ‘lest they remind her of her very recent tragedy’ to ‘lest they become the next unwitting targets of her deadly ire.’
You’re sure you never saw her in all that time, though, and eventually you heard the story repeated less and less, only really trotted out when new students arrived to the White Tower.  You learned later that Liandrin had left the Tower for a long while after the incident of legend.  It’s common for sisters of the Red Ajah to take extended leave, and the unfortunate fate of the Novice in question had certainly not impeded her ability to perform the functions for which she is best-suited.
You have also learned since then that for every extended absence, there is a corresponding extended stay in the Tower, particularly for the powerful and influential.  Liandrin is quite popular, if perhaps controversial in some circles, and it has thus been impressed upon her how very much her talents are needed within these walls for the foreseeable future.
Nevertheless, you are nothing short of shocked to see her perched atop the teacher’s desk when you arrive for your afternoon lesson.  You glance out the window, perhaps to catch a glimpse of the dire emergency that must have incapacitated so many Aes Sedai that Liandrin has been deemed a suitable substitute.
Liandrin is technically allowed to teach Accepted students.  Technically.
Liandrin herself looks about as pleased as any of the Accepted.  She pays you no mind as you enter, her piercing gaze fixed on some imagined point on the far wall.  Her arms are folded, her lips are pursed, and it looks like she’s biting the inside of her cheek.  Given her storied reputation, this understandably puts most of the students ill at ease.
“No need to trickle in,” she says, so sharply that you notice a few students flinch.  “You’re all in the right place, I should think.  I am Liandrin Sedai, and I will be overseeing your practice for the afternoon.”
She says all of this as though each word causes her great distress, gaze still fixed somewhere above the students’ heads.
“I am unaccustomed to teaching, and it’s been a long while since I was Accepted, so you will have to forgive me my unfamiliarity,” she continues, but gives absolutely no impression that she is asking forgiveness for anything.  “Adeline Sedai was not generous enough to inform me which weaves you are currently studying.  Would anyone be so kind as to enlighten me?”
The room falls eerily silent.  You cast a surreptitious glance toward Briallyn, who is usually the sort to raise her hand at any opportunity.  She is gazing at Liandrin like she is something inhuman and incomprehensible.
You swallow your nerves and raise your hand.
Liandrin turns her head sharply.  “Yes?”
“Weaving Spirit,” you say, although your voice falters under her exacting gaze.
“Weaving Spirit,” she echoes with a mocking lilt, inclining her head and smiling with false sweetness.  “Could our esteemed little sister perhaps narrow it down, just a bit?”
You feel your cheeks flush hot.  “The basics, I mean,” you stammer.  “Just starting.”
Liandrin scoffs.  “I suppose I should have known better than to expect anything more than that,” she says with a theatrical sigh.  “What was our dear Adeline Sedai having you do, just…” she waves vaguely, “pick at threads of Spirit out of nowhere?  No direction, no purpose?  No wonder it’s taking so long.”
She points at you, and you nearly startle out of your skin.  “Come forward.  Since you’ve been kind enough to volunteer.”
You can hear a low whisper of fear starting up around you as you obey her command, feel the eyes of your fellow Accepted upon you although you keep your head bowed low.  You are shy and unused to this kind of attention.  You can feel your face flushing all the way up to your ears.
Liandrin is perfectly average in stature, yet somehow seems to tower over you through her presence alone.  She ducks her head to catch you eye, and now her subtle smile bears no tinge of mockery.  “Look,” she bids you, gesturing out toward the classroom.
You attempt, quite unsuccessfully, to swallow down your embarrassment.  You look.
“Your classmates are afraid of me,” Liandrin observes, with the kind of neutrality one expects of a particularly uninteresting weather forecast.  “No doubt you’ve all heard stories about me.  Or, should I say, one in particular?”
You glance surreptitiously in Liandrin’s direction.  Her eyes are alight with cruel amusement.  She is enjoying this.  She leans in toward the class, as though to share a secret.  “Let me assure you that what you’ve heard…is absolutely true.”
The whole class visibly recoils, and the frightened whispers culminate in horrified gasps, followed by a deafening silence.
“Look at your classmates,” says Liandrin.  “The same way you would look for threads of fire or water.  Look for their fear.”
A part of you considers that you can see their fear perfectly well without looking very closely at all.  Another part of you is preoccupied with the way Liandrin’s eyes light up watching people recoil from her.  But you know from experience that Liandrin has very little patience, and she will not be pleased if she has to repeat herself.
You tear your eyes away from Liandrin and look, focusing on the class as a whole rather than trying to stare at any one person.  You squint and tilt your head, think of the frightened whispers and all the different versions of Liandrin’s story you have heard repeated over the years.  Some of your classmates are much younger than you, and their precocious talents allowed them to graduate to the rank of Accepted sooner than most.  They must have heard the story of the Novice who died under Liandrin Sedai’s tutelage very recently, and they do not have the benefit of experience to tell them that Liandrin means them no actual harm.
You think you start to see it then, something red and wrong hanging about them, brighter in some places than in others.  On instinct you reach out to pull at the threads.
You are not a talented channeler.  Threads do not respond well or quickly to your beckoning.  But the threads do come to you, slowly, and in this aspect alone, Liandrin is endlessly patient.
“A useful trick, to draw upon strong emotion,” says Liandrin.  Her words are for the benefit of the class, but she speaks quietly, and she is standing close enough to you that her voice makes you shiver.  “Spirit is that which is not strictly tangible, and yet you can feel it, can’t you, when there is a room full to the brim with terror?”
You can see the change in some students then, the ones who understand that this was, at least in part, a play upon their emotions in an unusual effort to educate.  You see the shift not in their faces but in the threads you are attempting to weave, a subtle change in the color and shape as fear gives way to confusion, or brightens into excitement.
You can’t help but wonder what others see, when they look at the color and shape of your own emotions.

send STRAINED for a scene from my muse's past in which they interact with someone they have a difficult relationship with
see into Fannar's history / accepting
There is yelling from somewhere behind him, and his breath comes out in short, jagged pants. In his arms, he clutches a loaf of bread he stole from an open window.
"Vagrant!" The man hollers, and Leifur can hear the door swing open after him. He tries his best to run that little bit faster. "Thief!! You little—"
He knows he is going to be in trouble, again. The goði has already made clear that thievery is not tolerated, although the vagrancy — that always seems to get a pass. That said, he's stolen from this man before and - aside from a stern telling off by the local chieftain - nothing had come of it. The man would have been given the authority to enact justice as he saw fit— the responsibility fell on his own shoulders, and yet he had not taken the boy as slave with a sickle to the throat as soon as he saw his sticky-fingered little self prowling around his cattle.
It's not like Leifur particularly realises, though. The talkings-to from the goðar, fearless enforcers of law and justice in their land, receive only blank stares. The instruction to stay away from this man's farm is never heeded, nor are the instructions not to steal. He would be enslaved as punishment, were he a human. He's been smacked upside the head a few times, but it appears not to phase him as he goes tottering off back into the countryside merely an hour later. He is a strange, strange little boy — everyone knows him for who, and what, he is. He is their land, a God, a strange little boy that nobody will strike too hard. How do you punish he who is God's given, after all? Nobody dares attempt.
Leifur skitters across a thin river on the outskirts of the man's property, and turns back when the man comes to a halt. He jabs a finger towards Leifur.
"You owe me work," The man demands. "Thieving little bastard. You've stolen from me twice now, I remember you. I could have you, all legal! Granted by the chieftains themselves. Be lucky I'm merciful, you hear me?"
Leifur just stares at him, the loaf held protectively to his chest. After a second, the farmer spits in his direction, and appears just short of stamping his foot like a petulant child.
"Dumb little fucker. You never say a fucking word, do you? Don't you come back around here, you hear me? I'll have you worked to the bone."
Leifur slowly takes a bite of the crust of the bread, all without breaking eye contact.
The farmer just sucks air through his teeth and turns back to his little stead, cursing loudly enough that his cattle start, and Leifur trots off. He will share this bread with his friends, tonight — although he always ends up eating most of it.

Kaeya has a habit of stealing and hoarding little things from people he loves. Small seemingly innocuous items going missing at random? Chances are, Kaeya is behind it.
#hc; kaeya#//It's in the little things#//Makes him feel like he's keeping little parts of them for himself#//And boy does his guy have one helluva sleight of hand when it comes to stealing things#//Had to learn how in a pinch; considering his travels with his dad#//Did so for a bit with the Ragnvindrs; foods and things he might wanna take with him if he needed to run away#//But then it became a way to connect with them in a way#//Stealing Crepus' ties; Diluc's hair ribbons; a kerchief from Addie; a coin from Elzer#//The coin he has is that very one; keeps it on his person bc of how dear Elzer is to him#//Like the brother that actually stayed#//No I am not over the fact that Elzer has said he saw Crepus as a father figure too ;-;#//The older Kae got; the more he took; esp if the items had ties to Important Memories#//That was just in case his memories of them starting mucking up; be it bc of the Curse or his usage of Abyssal energy messed with his head#//Some of his most prized possessions are a bottle of Crepus' cologne & the bloodstained tie he'd swiped from his body the day he died#//A bottle of scented oil he stole from Jean's desk when he'd comforted her after Diluc left#//A perfumed letter from Lisa after he'd intervened and vetted her capabilities over Nymph#//A grubby; shriveled philanemo mushroom--the very first Klee ever gave him when they'd met#//A crystal he'd snatched off Albedo's experiments that he'd intended to investigate but wound up treasuring#//He still uses one of Diluc's stolen hair ribbons to tie that lock of his; one he stole off him the very day BEFORE the Heckening#//From Huffman; he'd stole...his heart. revoking people’s right to talk about the tolstoy marriage until they write and turn in to me a ten page essay on complex relationships
#‘tolstoy STOLE from sophia’s diary’ almost certainly not true.#at least not in the usual vein - sophia was (and should be credited as!) at the very least his editor and collaborator#with w&p at times i want to say co author but i also dont think we should diminish the importance of editing#they worked as a team! and in the later years when thier relationship was increasingly frought they were BOTH reading each others diaries.#the problem is there is genuinely an avenue to talk about how tolstoy drew from real life in less than ethical ways#tanya bhers/natasha rostova for instance. THE KREUTZER SONATA! FOR INSTANCE!#but diminishing it down to oh he stole from her is. a disservice to both of them.#sophia confessed her love by writing a story that blatantly copied real life and lev’s personal insecurities confessed in confidence#and honestly that isnt even BAD like there is a reason they were happily married for 25 years! they’re work is similar they were a team!#we dint need to flatten it out to sophia-wife-victim lev-husband-abuser.#nor do we need to ignore the many ways sophia suffered!#it’s just theyve been reduced to a famous literary disaster marriage when they really… werent that.#gabby.txt#genuinely tanya as the inspiration for natasha is far more upsetting to me than giving his diary to sophia before the wedding.#idk. idk! its like on one hand im so fully on sophia's side and im so happy that her diaries and writing are being translated#and. not even on the other hand these ideas arent in opposition to each other. reducing her marriage to a flat picture of suffering is. bad#actually i think in many ways the problem is solved by looking at sophia as an author instead of a wife.#which like. she was very much both. but if we afford her the agency afforded to an author i think the conversation immediately gains nuance#and that also comes with the caveat of female authors being far less respected - look at nadezhda khvoshchinskaya - but still#anyway GOOOOD morning

I feel so stupid saying this but Staged is genuinely an AU Crowley and Aziraphale.
I've seen comments saying it and went "that's stupid stop projecting" but I've watched 2 seasons and it. actually is.
