Weather report: confusion filled fog early morning followed by the sun slightly poking through. Mid day will bring some frustration with temperamental temperature. Followed by rain, hail and I’m fucking lying this is about my emotional disregulation.

There’s a certain type of cruelty only achieved by Spotify the few days after something sad happened.
Q!Tubbos death is still sitting strongly so I keep doing that thing where you relate any song you listen to to the thing you’re currently hyperfixated on.

It’s November 1st, 1975
Minerva McGonagall is sitting in her office, grading tests as usual. She hears students walking down the corridor. “I totally failed transfiguration test today” James’s voice says, followed by his friends assuring him he did fine. And indeed, he got a 91%! Honestly, this boy needs more confidence, the professor thinks.
A bit later, Lily Evans walks down the same corridor talking with her friends, Marlene and Mary. They, too, are worried about the test. Little do they know that, not only did they pass, but they got really good grades too!
It’s November 1st 1981
Minerva McGonagall is pacing in her office. No, this can’t be true. They can’t be dead! It’s almost 24 hours since she heard the news. Everyone’s talking about how the Potters are heroes for ending the war. But this wasn’t their job. Just three years before, they were children, still running down these corridors in their uniforms.
And Harry! Oh, poor Hary! How could Dumbledore abandon him with those muggles? Not that she had anything against muggles, but these ones were terrible!
An owls comes through the window, a newspaper tied to its leg. The professor grabs the paper, hoping for some good news, when she sees the face of two other beloved students of hers. Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew. And the headline reads: “Sirius Black: brutally murdered Peter Pettigrew after betraying the Potters”. The war really killed her students after all. But she has no tears left, just one question:
What about Remus?
