purification is a painful, painful process.

rough sketch based on a scene in the Ravenwood RP. Antony is confronted with a situation in which he has to utilize his divine power in order to save Melvin - who had been terribly poisoned. the only one strong enough to clear the poison from his system is Antony, but the boy's abilities come with the caveat that his physical body still isn't entirely capable of handling prolonged and intense bouts of purification for any extended length of time; even despite having been reborn as a demigod.

so that power breaks him from the inside out - just as it did back in Atria. he does manage to save Melvin, but at the cost of his own life... though no one is aware that he still retains the ability to come back from the dead by that point. ends up being quite a shock for everyone when he turns back up a few days later, naturally. ><;;

tbh, some pretty awful repeat trauma for Antony. poor kid doesn't deserve it, but the angst is just too good to pass up imo :0

Something I've seen a couple people saying is that they want to make sure that Laudna understands that she's not the only one who has been through trauma. But like. Laudna is not the only one who needs to learn that lesson. Actually, it's not even that Laudna needs to learn that she's not the only one that's been through trauma at all, because they're all very aware of what they've all been through. This became an inevitable confrontation when Laudna decided to let Delilah back in, though, and after rewatching the scene, I actually think the only people who managed this situation correctly were Imogen* and Ashton.

Orym and Laudna are both more focused on their own pasts with the sword and not thinking about each other. Orym should have talked to the group and come to a decision with them about using the sword and Laudna should have talked to him about it instead of trying to steal it.

*my feelings about this are still up in the air don't read into this too much

She'd been talking for five whole minutes now about how she understood that she was incompetent, that she had no experience and she understood why she may not be the ideal candidate for the job but to please give her another chance because she really needed this job and she didn't want to have to start over and go through the same thing at yet another company.

He'd lost track after that. Baffled by the fact that she did not seem to realize how little her productivity at work had to do with him firing her, as oppose to the fact that she had been inappropriately flirting with him since the first day she got here. She seemed to not even consider it a factor. Meanwhile, he'd spent several sleepless nights trying to figure out how to deal with an intern that was very clearly attracted to him and how to successfully sidestep her advances without negatively affecting her self-esteem.

The truth was, she had crossed a line when she showed up at the office in a party dress, at 9.30 at night, just to come bother him while he was doing overtime. Alright, maybe it wasn't planned. He was still willing to give her the benefit of the doubt on that. But when she tried to drunkenly crawl across his desk and kiss him, it had been the final straw. "It's just that you seem confused about what we're doing here. I don't know how to be an effective mentor to you if you keep...misunderstanding things."

Gardevoir is a very angelic pokemon, and a lot of ancient people believed this, too. In countless of religious beliefs relating to Arceus, there are versions of Gardevoir with a more ethereal appearance, some of them having hundreds of eyes, some of them looking like the hybrids between a human and a pokemon, or some of them even having wings. Whether these Pokemon are real or not, a lot of people have noted that they've seen them in dreams. These ethereal Gardevoir were never thought of as legendary or mythical Pokemon, but rather as helpers of them. In old Kalos and Hoenn, a mega Gradevoir was said to be a Gardvoir getting closer to its ethereal form.
