Been cooking up some new headcanons for my favorite foxes but I can't keep shut about my one for Nine.

When the others wielded the Prism shards they usually had a conduit of some sort like Thorn's Hammer and Dread's sword (or they did not even come into direct contact with them like the Chaos Council. But I'm not talking about them LOL) and even then it still obviously has some mental effect on them lotr style.

But when Nine uses the entire Paradox Prism he uses his tails (which I guess the hc makes sense if you're on board with the hc that Nine's tails are bionic) and basically uses himself to wield the entire prism and the toll on him exceeds that greater than everyone else.

Imagine a Nine permanently irradiated from the full force of the prism. Nerves frayed and constant headaches from the sheer power that coursed through his body. At first he thinks this will fade away once he's separated from the prism but it never does.

SO GUYS WHAT IF SONIC PRIME SEASON 3 TOOK SOME INSPO FROM THE SONIC FRONTIERS SONG "UNDEFEATABLE"?!

(Beware!! These are just predictions. So don't take my word for it!!)

SPECIALLY THESE PARTS!!

"It's time to face your fear."

Sonic doesn't want to die but has to it to save the shatterverse.

"'Cause your time has come and gone."

Sonic has to accept that his time is up and through whatever means we don't know yet, loses his prism energy.

"I'll be the one to carry on."

He'll be the one to save all of his friends with his life.

"And you can throw me to the wolves."

He's fine with Nine 'betraying' him (not how I use quotation marks) and (maybe bc we don't know anything) taking away his prism energy.

"Cause I am undefeatable"

Sonic will make it and not die.

"I'm hanging on to the other side."

His trying his best to hold onto life as Shadow is trying to save him. Shadow tells him to hang on, and Sonic tries so hard to.

"I won't give up to the end of me."

Sonic won't give up till he's sure everything is back to normal. Not until the end of him.

"I'm what you get when the stars collide."

Sonic is able to leave a mark on Nine that messing with him is no joke.

"Now face it you're just an enemy."

(Highly doubt this would happen though)

Sonic accepts that Nine is a threat is now deemed an enemy despite all his negotiating.

ANYWHO. DON'T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT. JUST REALLY HUGE SPECULATION AND WHAT NOT.
