It was a beautiful church with a gothic design and the reception was in a house on the country side. The house had a vintage colonial style and it was pretty elegant, the garden with the pool looked nice and the decor me and husband chose was top notch.

23. Would you like to have kids one day and how many? I don't earn enough money to have kids but if I got money I would have 2 kids.

How far is your OC willing to go to get what they want?

Falls:he is so selfless that he would happily give up his own life for his brothers. He has, on a few occasions, given his own blood to brothers while working to keep them alive. He is gotten scolded by his brothers in the 501st and the Corrie guard for this, but he doesn't care

Tic: If he could tear apart the galaxy together his old battalion back he would in a heart beat, he would be considered a deserter risk when he first joined the Corrie guard

Sol: he would happily volunteer himself for decommissioning if it meant he could stop it from happening permanently. He would never tell anyone this but he has threated to several times

Do you have a specific lyric or quote which you associate with your OC?

Falls:pretty much the entire song, but this line specifically

Does your OC have any illnesses or disorders? How do they handle it?

Fall:As I said, he gets really bad migraines after removing his chip, but honestly, his biggest issue is his ADHD. He has the inattentive type, so he'll either not do anything for hours or spend days hyper focusing on something

Tic:he deals with tics (not like tourettes but just small tics. I deal with them a lot), and after losing his battalion, he ended up with a trauma induced stutter, and his tics get worse

Sol:Not so many illnesses or disorders, but his knee injury really starts to get worse as time goes on. After he left Kamino, he would need crunches and a leg bracefor years. He hates it but if he trys to go without them he gets screamed at

What emotion is the hardest for your OC to process? How about express?

Honestly, for me, this is a one answer fits all (plus I spent like 10 minutes looking at lists of emotions, but I'm autistic so I don't really understand them oop) and that is feeling safe (idk if that's a emotion but let's all roll with it) they have all gone through their own personal hells and so feeling safe is not easy for any of them. Tic is the most obvious after losing his battalion he will for a long time feel like he will lose everyone he cares for again after joining the corrie guards. Falls has had to always look over his shoulder and be one of the best to avoid decommissioning. And Sol never fully released he felt so unsafe on Kamino till he left

What is your favorite thing about your OC?

Falls:he was my first clone oc in this Fandom, and he allowed me to connect to a lot of other people. Also, his kindness and willingness to help others, even if it's out of his comfort zone

Tic:he is me in a lot of ways with the stuttering and ticking, and it's nice to have a character to show that part of me

Sol:he is just pure sunshine (also, he shows now love for kids, especially my nephews )

I recivied my first equity contract today and in the rider I received, there was a clause that said I would receive an additional 2/6 of my salary during tech.

Two thoughts

2) An increase in pay during tech should be an industry standard. Idk if AEA actors get it, but definitely for SMs because we work longer hours outside tech time. I might try to negotiate this next time I take a non-Union gig (if I don't join)

2) 2/6 is just a third, right? Am I missing something? Like I passed 4th grade math. I'm just confused by this fraction.

So I this week I got offers to work shows at two different theatres this spring. I can't do both, since the overlap this is not an easy decision

The first show I received an offer for is a small theatre slightly outside the city (but easily assessable via public transit.).

Equity SM Contract

SPT tier 5 pay rate

All black play

It's the type of theatre I want to make

Offer #2 is to ASM a musical at a bigger theatre in the city (so less of a commute)

Equity ASM Contract

LORT-C pay rate (!!!!)

Not an all black show (idk about casting)

Have not read/listened to it, but what little I know about it does not excite me.

So it kind of boils down to money vs. art. I can obviously ask for more money, but I can't in good conscience ask the smaller theatre to match the bigger theatre's payrate. But asking for an extra $100-$150 a week doesn't seem like too big of an ask. But besides the money, there are a lot of other factors I need to weigh in. And at the end of the day, I don't think I'll ruin a relationship with either company by saying no to one of them.

I understand that I am incredibly lucky to be in a position to choose between doing a show that creatively excites me vs something for money. Maybe I'll have a little more clarity once I know more things about each production. But right or I'm in tech for a fringe show that is not fulfilling for me and honestly the environment has been stressful since day 1. This job feels like a paycheck to me, I'm not enjoying myself at all. Not that I'm saying I won't enjoy myself doing the musical. But I just know that the bigger production the more stressful, but I'd be an ASM working under an SM I hadn't worked with within 5 years. Just need to get out of tech and be in a better mindset to make that decision.

The show I've been working on these past several weeks has been hella stressful and literally messy.

There is a huge bloody mess onstage and we've known since the first rehearsal that the stage would be a bitch clean, the actors are supposed to clean most of it during the show, but the clean up was never properly choreographed in rehearsals. It was a lot of hypotheticals and doing it in the moment without stopping and too many actors have slipped when we finally used the blood.

Today on day 4 of Tech we finally, choreographed the cleanup to make it as safe as possible and it now involves a shit ton of towels. Way more than I anticipated. I also have to wash bloody linens too.

Because I'm sharing the laundry room with costumes who also needs to wash bloody clothes I realized it was impossible to wash what will most likely be around 2 loads of towels and 2 loads of linens (that also need to be folded) during pre and post show.

So I told the production manager that I either need to be paid to come in outside of my call times to do the laundry (since I am not hourly) or hire someone to do the laundry during the day.

He's going to look for someone, and since we are still in tech I'm not sure if I need to wash everything everyday because I don't have duplicates yet. But I am very glad I advocated for myself.

My SM cut her hand during the break and had to go to the ER to get stitches less than 3 hours before the preview tonight.

So I, the ASM, was asked to call the show tonight with less than 2 hours to prepare.

I. FUCKING. DID. IT.

Like of course I made mistakes, (only a few were noticeable imo). But I fucking did it. I'm still riding that high because the SM had been at the theatre for over 25 years and this had never happened before.

I was nervous, but now that it's over I feel vindicated. Working that this theatre has been hard because most of the production team has been there for 10+ years and I feel inadequate sometimes since I've only been there for a few months.

But this reminded me that I am a good stage manager. And honestly? I needed that.

depends on what type of dish i'm making. i love all pasta, but for a dish with a sauce, i prefer textured or shaped pastas (e.g. radiator, penne rigata w/ the ridges, shell) since it's better at holding sauces. even though i don't like sauce, unless it's white cheddar with munster, or regular cheddar, or monterery jack. other than that, i love all pastas

i made this one a keep reading because i'm going to go into detail. if you're not comfortable with reading about how expendable the human body can go to, please do not read this

drowning

this is probably the most horrible in this category since you're just being suffocated with liquid and can't just force yourself to spit up whatever enters your windpipe - especially if it enters your lungs. basically, if your airways (nasal cavity, mouth, lungs to an extent) are obstructed by liquids or anything else, you will not have the oxygen required to pump blood throughout your body. if you don't have oxygen coursing through your bloodstream, you're going to cut off the use of your brain and the rest of your central nervous system. think of why when any of us are born and, as a newborn, are expected to cry - that cry pretty much forces us to take in air so we aren't drowning in the amniotic fluid we sit in for like 9-10 months. or when an ob/gyn or midwife sticks the rubber bulb looking device into a newborn's mouth and nasal cavity - they're sucking out whatever fluid is remaining in there so the newborn doesn't cut off its own oxygen supply to its brain. i know i simplified it a lot, but i'm going off what i've read about and watched thanks to my hyperfixation on the medical field and biology. with drowning, you're slowly depriving your brain of oxygen that you need to function. you know how your head feels fuzzy or dizzy if you hold your breath for a long time? that's what oxygen deprivation feels like. but add in the concept of forcing water or any other liquid into your airways, your lungs won't be able to pump anything but water, and that cuts off air supply to your brain. if someone's forcing your head underwater, or you get pulled under (or don't know how to swim, like jason voorhees) the water is going to get into your airways no matter what and your lungs are forced to take in that water. unlike if your beverage just happens to go down the wrong pipe, you can't just punch your own back until you cough up the drink - you can't really fight back unless someone or something saves you

freezing

like drowning, you're getting a slow death. however, you're more likely to freeze to death than drowning, depending on your lifestyle and where you live. from what i've read, when exposed to cold temperatures, you will start to lose body heat - we've all experienced this to some degree, that's why when it's cold outside we all have to wear coats and long pants so we don't y'know die. to make this worse, in cold weather, your veins will constrict and make blood flow decrease rapidly. obviously if you don't have blood flow, your brain will start to just not work, and your heart will have to go on overdrive to pump more blood to keep you alive. and unlike drowning, there's a larger margin of surviving since you don't need to really learn how to do something (except maybe start a fire or know what exactly can keep you warm - /j if you want to keep warm, just set yourself on fire). i don't really know what else to say about freezing to death, except i don't recommend it

burning

i'm arguing this is the best death in this ranking since depending on how flammable you are, it's going to happen fast. unless you're quickly whisked off to the emergency room and taken to the burn unit. sure if you survive you're going to have a fuck ton of blisters and need skin grafts that, depending on where you live, that's going to cost you your life's savings. economics and surviving aside, you're guaranteed to just roast like a marshmallow (or freddy krueger) and die. granted, most of us (hopefully) have been taught what to do if we're on fire. however, this ask puts us into a death situation. tragically i can't really find any resources about burning to death, so there's that. all i know if that burning to death is painful and you have to smell your own clothes and flesh go up in flames, it's even worse if you're wearing polyester clothes and they melt onto you. burnt flesh is not a pleasant odor, never had the pleasure of smelling it, but from what i remember from the medical shows i grew up on, it's absolutely putrid. i don't really know what else to say about this type of death

micdropbam has been writing this absolutely fantastic omegaverse tim/everyone series! it's called Building Blocks, and i love it - tim's characterization, his interactions with jason and dick, and of course how bruce has been written as this controlling asshole who still only wants the best for his family. the series is ongoing, and it's focused on tim's experience of trauma in a really fascinating way. highly recommend.

4. total number of words you wrote this year

apparently, i published 65,371 on ao3 (!!!), but combined with everything i didn't publish, original fiction, and coursework/thesis stuff, the total is probably closer to 105,000ish, maybe a little more? idk doing math stresses me tf out.

23. fics you wanted to write but didn’t

lol so for november 5th this year, i had a batman/supernatural fusion i wanted to do. there would've been blood and incest and body horror and catholic jason todd, but alas. i was too busy to make it happen :') who knows. maybe i'll revisit it next year.

19. any new fics to start next year

definitely!! i have a jaytim exchange fic for christmas, and then after that, the first one up is probably going to be the next part of towards the sea, specifically the jaydick interlude, and whatever i end up doing for brudick week (probably day three?). those last two will be published in mid- to late-january.

15. something you learned this year

that i write better when someone else helps me to revise! in my old fandom, i had a beta reader who read literally everything i wrote, and just completely eviscerated it (and me) when it was bad. but, since i'm fairly new to writing batman fic, i don't have a beta reader yet, and i've really struggled with that. i'm actually very good at revising my academic writing, but i literally hate revising fiction, so that's been. an adventure. (as a side note, if anyone reading this wants to beta-read for me? pls just shoot me a message i'm begging). so, i guess i've learned that i prefer writing in a collaborative environment?

1. favorite fic you wrote this year

probably "by slight ligaments"? idk, i have a hard time rereading things i've published because i constantly want to rewrite them and tighten them up and just revise in general, but "by slight ligaments" is definitely the one i can reread most easily - which makes sense, because it's the one i actually worked on for the longest period of time lol. (by the same turn, my least favorite is "with weak hands," probably because i spent the least amount of time on that one).

13. favorite writing song/artist/album of this year

i wrote "Instant Fires" entirely to "Go To Town" by Doja Cat on repeat, which, you know. i think it shows lmao. i also listened to a lot of this band Marietta (link to bandcamp) that's sadly broken up, especially their album Summer Death and the acoustic version of their song "God Bless Eric Taylor". the album is kind of emo revival tinged with math rock, which i realize is a very pretentious way of describing it, but. you know. also, the album Safe And Also No Fear (youtube), by Slaughter Beach, Dog, which is kind of indie rock, but has roots in the same scene as Marietta. also, Megan Thee Stallion, obviously.

i can't pick just one!! everyone has been so sweet since i've started writing batman stuff, and i've loved interacting with other readers and writers on here and ao3. that said, on "an accumulation of anguish," the wonderful @lovecinnatwist said that i was amazing and an inspiration which literally made me smile for a whole week! also, on "Instant Fires," someone said that "this is the type of fic that makes me love this ship," which, you know, that's the dream!! but, just in general, everyone's comments have been so lovely, and i love getting them so so much <3

Im Nayeon (임나연)

Nayeon was born on September 22, 1995. She’s the eldest member but we often call her the “madnae” (which is a mix (in Korean) of eldest & maknae) since her personnality looks like a maknae. She’s the lead vocalist, face of the group (*1), center (even tho Tzuyu is the one for her). She’s Korean. She loves Oh My Girl as hell (& so many other gg). She likes babies & kissing the member (trust me). Sometimes she loses balance because of her left leg (she hurt it bc of a car accident when she was younger). She has a lot of aegyo (but Jeongyeon just hates it 😂). You can easily recognize her thanks to her bunny teeth! 

Yoo Jeongyeon (유정연)

Jeongyeon was born on November 1, 1996. She’s a lead vocalist too. She has a famous sister who is Gong Seungyeon. Hirai Momo (平井 もも or 모모 in Hangul)

Momo was born on November 9, 1996. She’s a dancing machine, that’s why we call her “dancing momochine”, sub vocalist and rapper. She didn’t know what was her blood type until the show called “TWICE’s Elegant Private Life” (EPL), it’s A. She’s sexy, like really. Whatever the song is, she got the sexy vibe. But she’s also super cute. Her love for food is incredibly deep, especially for jokbal. Her motto is “If you work hard, you can eat delicious food” and she doesn’t like water. Momo means Peach. She likes Barbie a lot and her dogs too (who are Lucky, Petco, and Pudding). She’s a Japanase from Kyoto. To recognize her : her mouth & nose are unique~

Minatozaki Sana (湊崎 紗夏 or 사나 in Hangul)

Cutie-sexy Sana was born on December 29, 1996. Lead dancer & sub vocalist, ambassador of the iconic shy shy shy. She’s an only child who was casted during a shopping time with her friends (cf TWICE TV1). She’s known to be clumsy and a snake lol this is a jk. She likes collecting perfume and kissing/hugging everyone. Among the foreign members, Sana’s korean is the best. She’s a Japanese from Osaka. “No Sana No Life”, you can recognize her thanks to her perfect nose and eyes.

Park Jihyo(박지효)

Jihyo was born onFebruary 1, 1997. She’s the main vocalist, leader & the heart of Twice. She trained for 10 years, takes care of the members very well and she likes to go to karaoke (cf Twicetagram with Nayeon). Tzuyu is like her precious baby. She lost a lot of weight (pretty sure bc people body shamed her). She likes to watch drama & she do love Signal. She couldn’t help but smile during Cheer Up bc Jo Jinwoong followed the ‘Shy Shy Shy’ dance. She has a lot of aegyo (she’s actually an aegyo machine), she’s a crybaby too & her voice is very loud. She’s known as Thomas bc her eyes are big (and that’s how you recognize her). She’s Korean.

Myoui Mina (名井 南 or 미나 in Hangul)

Mina was born on March 24, 1997. She’s a vocalist & dancer. Her nickname is “Penguin”. She likes ketchup a lot. Wherever there’s ketchup, there’s also Mina. She did ballet during 11 years and stopped everything just to be an idol. By the way, she likes a lot of group like CN BLUE. She had the shortest training period (1 year something like that) and she’s the definition of elegance. She can be sexy and cute af at the same time and we still don’t know how. Whenever she’s is stressed, she’ll end up crying. Her voice isn’t loud. She was born in Texas so you’ll probably see people calling her “Sharon”. She’s a Japanese from Kobe. Dahyun was born on May 28, 1998. Lead rapper and sub vocalist. Her nickname is “Tofu” bc of her white skin. She was very popular due to her Eagle dance video. Son Chae Young (손채영)

Chaeyoung, known as Chaeng Chaeng Chaeng, was born onApril 23, 1999. She’s the main rapper (& sub vocalist). She is the shortest member of Twice & the other “no jam bros”.
