oh I'm furious today and it's literally only 10am this is why I hate tumblr

"I will never read Wolfstar where Sirius is X because it's not canon"

"I will never read any fic where Remus does X because I, personally, don't think that's something he would do"

"Sirius is not X do not write him as such"

"Remus would never act like X if you write him that way you don't know him"

OKAY WELL. That's your opinion? And there are people who do like it when Sirius is X or when Remus does X no matter if it's canon or not, or "out of character" (which is another funny thing to get into) or not.

You putting a big fat tumblr post out there saying "REMUS WOULD NEVER" is just YOUR subjective opinion, and it can discourage people who want to read or write about Remus doing exactly that and make them feel like shit.

The whole bloody point of fanfic is that you can literally make your characters do whatever and whoever you want, and you can seek out what you want to read. Don't like top Remus? Don't read it. Don't like manwhore Sirius? Don't read it. Don't like any other particular Remus or Sirius characterisation? DON'T READ IT.

Don't go out of your way to bitch about characterisations you personally don't care for because there WILL be people who like that or don't mind it.

God. For a fandom that has literally taken characters who barely have a personality and back story in canon some of y'all are really close-minded.

Hi tumblr I need help do I go to this tonight…

Pros: I’ve been backpacking for weeks and I’m lonely and bored

Cons: literally everything else. I barely know these people and they’re all great friends with each other. I hate hate hate being scantily clad and people in my circles are likely at all times to be like let’s get naked and go in the sauna!!!!! At which point I will have to slink off somewhere to cry. Also I am very shy. And I would love to hang out with my bff roommate but the SECOND a drumset opens up…boom he’s lost to me for hours and I’m stuck making awkward medium talk with people who don’t like me that much BUT I could just be overthinking this as an excuse to further isolate myself by staying home and reading a nonfiction book from 2006 about a fucked up leper colony in US history. So I need help please decide my fate for me…

it takes him a while to get used to all the plushies staring at him lol (and sometimes getting tangled in the sheets between you, him and your limbs)

and his hearts melt when he sees your face lit up, a visible relief washing over your expression while you nod vigorously

"wait, i can even tell you their names" you grin and he’s so soft like,, moments from melting and turning into a puddle on the floor :((

so for the next hour you introduce every plushie and their names and backstory!!

and he treats them so gently, almost as if they were made out of the finest china <\3

will absolutely love to sleep w you in his arms, alongside the plushies that he knows how much they mean to you

and you allowing him to cuddle w them too is also something that makes seokmin fall for you even more (if that was even possible)

kwannie and you usually did sleepovers at his place but once he asked if you can do one at yours

he saw you tense up a bit and got concerned that maybe he pushed some boundaries

“eh, that just sucks” he throws a tantrum and turns his back to you, pouting

but then you put the orange plushie into his arms and wrap your hands around his waist, cuddling him like he was the plushie itself

and atp he doesn’t even care that it makes him the small spoon, he loves the proximity <3
