“Clerics are intermediaries between the mortal world and the distant planes of the gods. As varied as the gods they serve, clerics strive to embody the handiwork of their deities. No ordinary priest, a cleric is imbued with divine magic.”
A Will the cleric drawing based off of actual clerics.

"Imagine reaching the end of Super Multi Train with a friend. The true masters of the Battle Subway have been following your progress with great excitement, secretly rooting for you so they could get a chance to battle you two too.
When you and your friend enter the last car of the train, the bosses instantly lock their eyes on you. It's difficult to tell from their professional composure, but they are absolutely thrilled you made it. They quickly reintroduce themselves and without further ado, they strike their signature poses and so the highly anticipated final battle starts.
Both sides wreck each other with everything they got.
The match is finally over. You watch the bosses collapse on the floor and start laughing out of relief and glee. You just made their day!"
The subway bosses are thrill seekers; nothing better than an all out match against strong opponents whose moves they can't predict coming toe-to-toe with them. Their instincts just go BOOM!! So the release afterwards must be equally powerful!!
Doesn't matter much whether you win or lose, if you have fun you always win!!

Would you say Sans loves Toriel more than Papyrus. Like you love Soriel but I can't get behind the Soriel stories where Papyrus is less in Sans' eyes and I'm not sure whether I want to follow your soriel stuff yet
....you know, if you'd just stopped at "do you think sans loves toriel more than papyrus" I would've answered, but that second part is weirding me out too much. you... need my views and interpretations of the characters to be perfectly aligned with yours for you to enjoy my art...? i mean, i've never pit toriel and papyrus against each other over sans' affection before, so that information would serve as nothing more than background context for my drawings.
is that really all it takes for you to stop enjoying someone's work? what a boring, obsessive way to do fandom. loosen up pal

I find it extremely discouraging how a lot of the time art uploaded to be seen online becomes influenced under the constraints of monetary gain and attention.
It feels like value is placed more on what would be most successful within a wide-reaching audience rather than actual care and intention put behind the work one does.
I think this explains why a lot of art, even by really skilled artists I admire, sometimes end up becoming empty and overly similar to each other.
