what do thrones eat? the big ones look like they take a lot of feeding. do the bird body ones eat bird food?

Thrones do, in fact, eat a lot. It depends a lot on their bodies, but most are largely omnivorous. Since being able to stomach a greater variety of foods means more things are then available to stomach. Throne bodies are also largely cosmetic, so they might not need to eat like the animal they most closely resemble. The Thrones of Sevab House have serpentine bodies, but don't eat all that differently than the beast-footed Thrones. The body-shape they have does usually come with practical concerns that influence things like diet, though. The beast-footed houses, take Dedēsne House as a good example, eat more wild game than the serpentine Thrones of Sevab House, because there's more of a culture of nobles going on hunts there, while Sevab's Thrones are more expected to drape themselves elegantly about and have clever things to say. They still might be designed with dietary preferences for cultural reasons, i.e., a house that follows a branch of religion that practices vegetarianism not being capable of eating anything other than plants - which is also in line with the fact that Thrones are held by their communities to higher standards of religious conformity, they are Holy Beasts after all. This mostly applies to Thrones with ruminant-like bodies, where the herbivory is symbolically significant. This would also come with the expected Ruminant Issues, though, so that's a thing.

The Lujnola Thrones are an interesting case, however, because their bodies are designed to be more practical than average, and some of the restrictions of real birds also extend to them. You won't find any adapted to eat leaves (no stinky hoatzin Thrones alas). The Lujnola Thrones eat fruit more than anything else. It makes up probably 70 or 80% of their diets, with some meat thrown in. The meat is quite varied, though. They do hunt and especially trap wild game, but like to eat animals - lizards, turtles, frogs, insects, and smaller mammals like rodents and tiny forest deer. They do have some livestock, big meaty snails, and certain woodboring insects with large grubs are generally popular in the eastern empire. The most unique livestock Lujnola has is a species of arboreal, golden-furred rodent that's often eaten on special occasions. There are quite a lot of spiritual cleanliness practices around hunting and the use of weapons specifically, which is actually a bit of a point of prejudice the Throne-Lords of the region have against their non Throne subjects, who hunt game like deer, boars, and forest cattle. None of the Thrones ever hunt large game, and they don't eat bird meat out of principle, at least not in Lujnola Province, traveling Thrones of the house wouldn't always turn bird meat down, fowl just arent hunted or kept as livestock back home. That isn't because "it's cannibalism", they just have a huge respect and reverence for birds in general. They do like eggs, though. A lot of rituals and "magical" practices involve eating bird eggs, and different species of bird are said to embue their eggs with different properties - cleverness from a Jay, bravery from a hornbill, love from a parrot, etc.

Also, because Throne bodies are so large, the mouth of their "head"/human portion is not adequate to feed them, which is why most Thrones have secondary, more proportionate mouths. Have an old doodle of a guy having a snack.

AITA for leaving my friend groups Discord server?

💐💐💐 So I can find this later. For context, I was in 2 servers that were friend groups, where my friends would all interact with each other, play & stream games, etc. However, recently we had a situation where someone, let's call her Sasha, would send many vent messages in the general channel, then delete said message before we could respond or even look at the messages, & get mad at us for not responding. She'd also complain about everything that happened in her life, school, in games, & she'd always repeat the same things, over & over again. In the end, we got tired of how she was forcing everyone to stop being as active in the server because of her behavior & actions, so we all made another server, without Sasha, so we could interact with peace without her interrupting conversations. This all happened 3-4 months ago. Then 3 of the people in our new server got a game on Roblox, Deepwoken. Another person, let's call him Kevin, already had the game for a while, so they all got the game & started playing all together. They were incredibly passionate about it, it would be the only thing talked about. One of them got me the currency to get Deepwoken, so I could play with them all. A while later, I got a hang of the game, then when I asked if any of them could play with me, one of them, let's call him Tim, would keep telling me that "Oh, you have to play the game alone to get the real experience, & to learn things better." every time I would ask. Sometimes, rarely, they'd answer some questions I had about the game that I didn't quite grasp yet, & a lot of the time i'd just, not receive any answer. After a while, I got tired of how they didn't respond to me at all, so I just stopped playing. Keep in mind, I don't have any other friends that have the game, so I didn't have anyone else to talk to about it. I love my friends but I felt ignored & was hurt, so I passed ownership to another friend of mine, & left. About a day after leaving, I ended up feeling extremely depressed & overwhelmed with schoolwork, eye appointments, a random limb & joint pain that I had no idea why I was having, & I accidentally unfriended Tim. With my being extremely overwhelmed, thinking it was a good idea at the time, I sent him a message saying "accidentally unfriended u mb. u could also not accep, that works too" Then another message after that one, "okay well um, im gonna assume that you arent going to accept it again so thank you for all youve done for me before you say that im making it sound like i gave up; i have given up i gave up a little while ago" After that, I got a message from him saying that I needed to calm down, that my friend request wasn't the most important thing in his mind right now, & that he's allowed to put it on hold for at least a day before I start telling him some "nvm shit". I sincerely apologized & told him that I needed to take a break, that I hope he's doing okay, & that I hope college goes well for him. I did indeed, take a break, for only 2 weeks because I felt extremely guilty, stupid & reckless. Those weeks felt like forever because that whole thing was on my mind 24/7. It was eating me alive. & No, I am not saying to gain pity. Just trying to explain what I felt. Tim answered, told me that I should grow & change as a person, & that he doesn't mean it in a condescending way, that the server was meant to be a safe space, that in order to make everyone comfortable, there's some things we need to just not say or some things we need to think about a lot before saying them. It's the reason Sasha got booted, & that we give as much as we get. I'm reading back on his messages, & I didn't say anything in the server to make everyone uncomfortable. Am I the asshole?

With pearly white wings and a halo of gold, you were a disciple in heaven’s endless library. Duty bound to organize records and histories of paradise and its worlds below. Though you’d never looked within those records, just being in their presence gave you curiosity about your god’s creations all the same.

Once every hundred or so years in your infinite lifespan, you sought to venture into the human realm before returning to your celestial duty. It was an odd request to your peers. None were as interested in mortals as you so each visit was a lonely affair. You never stayed more than an hour or two, merely observing how they had changed from a favored seat in the clouds above, lest someone spotted you. It was only meant to be a short trip as always. This time something felt different.

In the quaint seaside town you were fond of visiting, you'd sensed a devil and dared to investigate. Of course, you'd never met one, so you had no idea what that uneasy feeling even was until your feet touched the ground for the very first time.

The devil seemed to be asleep in a field of blossoms, butterflies fluttering about. Spring was always in full bloom when you descended to earth. Pastel pink hair blended with the flowers, only making the black horns atop his head and the symbols scrawled along his arms stand out even more.

You approached with caution and curiosity. Though they were meant to be your sworn enemy, heaven's few rumors about devils already appeared untrue. The fauna and flora around him weren't withered and rotting, but full of life. He didn't smell of burning flesh, nor was he covered head to toe in the blood of his victims. If anything, his form seemed almost angelic.

He opened his eyes as you came closer, and their sky blue color welcomed you further. "Ah, could I be dreaming? Or has an angel come to rescind my eternal punishment?" he spoke wryly. 

"Nay, devil. I want no trouble from you," you said in response, caught off guard by his casual, relaxed greeting. You took a few fearful steps away when he rose to lean back on his hands.

"Hmm... You have some holy divination or blessing to bestow upon this land, I assume. I've no intention of interfering." He smiled up at you, and those angelic features seemed even more prominent. Were it not for the pointed tail swishing with vigor behind him, you'd think this devil was one of your own.

"There's no mission I've been given," you explained with a shake of your head, "I'm only here to observe my god's world for a few moments, out of my own curiosity."

"Fascinating. I've never known angels to take interest in mortal affairs before their passing. Then, if no duty calls for thee—" he stopped to pluck a white bud that hadn't quite fully bloomed from the sea around him. "Might you grace me with your divine visage for one moment longer, little angel? I've called earth my home for millennia—and damnation is dreadfully boring. I could help with those curiosities, if you so desire." He held the bud out to you as an offering.

Though his words sounded sincere, you felt unsure. “...Do you take me to be so naive? I know your kind favor trickery.”

“I only offer my companionship,” he gave an innocent shrug. That heavenly smile was still fixed on you.

Your eyes darted between his outstretched hand and his face. Eventually, you took the flower from him. You could sense no ill intent on their part, so it wouldn't hurt to stay a little while. Nonetheless, you’d do your best to stay on guard.

The sun dipped lower in the sky as you lost track of time. Ren, you learned, knew far more of humans than you ever imagined. Your interest in them grew with each story he told of the world. At his urging, you'd gone to the beach to wander up close among them. It was a bit of a struggle to prepare—you'd never been told that your wings could retract or your halo could be hidden. But he coached you through it, not so much as flinching at the sting of divine power when you accidentally hit his arm with a wing on the first try. For a devil, he was oddly knowledgeable of things beyond his damned realm.

“You said your visits were always over in the late morning. So you haven’t seen this time of day, have you?” he asked as you both walked along the shore, waves glittering in gentle reds and pinks you’d never known the sun to make.

“I haven’t seen this terrain either.” Even with the occasional pausing stares of young children and animals—the only beings who could see your true form, as they were without sin—you were thrilled at the new experiences you were having. Your footsteps painted the sand rather unevenly compared to his. It was impossible to get used to the sinking feeling, nor the coarse sand getting into your sandals. You laughed at the sensation. “Heaven is all clouds and gardens. Here… it’s so different. The sun shines differently. But it’s still just as beautiful.”

He took your hand in his to keep you steady, pulling you towards the water’s edge. They were all too comfortable with the action, but you didn't spare it a thought. The guard you were meant to keep up had been thrown aside long ago. “I’m honored to show you such new experiences. And I only hope to give you more.” Ren’s face was bathed in a heavenly glow as he guided you into the water. 

It was a stark contrast. The once warm sand turned to a bracing cold, almost slimy texture as the water slowly rose up to your waist. You raised your other hand up high to avoid it, still clutching the late blooming bud he’d picked for you.

The pink-haired devil brought you to a stop and nodded out at the setting sun with an unreadable look, “I’m sure you won’t be able to take your eyes away from it. I couldn’t, my first time seeing the sun disappear.” At his suggestion you turned your head to watch, barely aware of the way their tail wrapped around your hips to keep you close.

It was captivating as the sun began to fall further beyond the horizon, the hues of the day gradually shifting both in the sky and sea before your eyes. Golds, reds, pinks, and purples all chased after the light, leaving behind a blue as cold as the water felt. In what seemed like an instant, it was over too soon—not a trace left of the glorious sun that never set back in the heavens you called home. Strangely enough, your body tensed with heavy feelings. As if you were saying goodbye to a part of you. You stood staring out at the graying ocean for a long while, until the cold water lapping against your skin felt no different from the air.

“How was it?” he gently broke the silence. You felt his hand move to rest over your own, cradling the flower still between your fingers. The heat of his touch guided you to meet his gaze.

“Breathtaking, I think,” you whispered with a frown as you looked up at him. “And a bit sad? All that warmth disappeared—I’m not sure how to feel.”

“Breathtaking as the sun is, you’ll find on earth that some flowers show their true beauty without its watchful eye, my little angel,” he said to reassure you. The bud in your shared grasp opened slowly at his words, its tapered white petals unfurling to reveal pale lavender edges as the sky darkened further. His fingers traced behind your ear before he tucked the flower among the strands of your hair, seeming to admire it. “You’d never have known if you’d only stayed those few moments.”

You searched his eyes as his hand lingered at your cheek. Just as when you first met, there was no malice in their voice. A devil who appreciated your god’s work felt unheard of. From Ren's intense gaze he looked as if he revered them. He must've been a kindred soul—or the equivalent of a soul in demons. You wanted to know more about him as well, not just mortals. 

Their fangs gleamed in the faint moonlight when you quietly asked, “What else can you show me?”

My Opinion on Who Controls Alastor

The fanbase is going nuts guessing who hold the end of Alastor chain while there are post already Im sure (I haven't read any-sorry!):

Lilith: Their AWOL absents lines up. Also can reason why Alastor lay his life on the line for the Charlie and the hotel on the day of extermination because Lilith commanded him to protect Charlie. I admit, its plausible.

Eve: Suspiciously absent from the show universe except the mention of her biting the apple in the first few moments in the first episode. The suspicious absences leading to a plot twist reveal. She does have motive to be upset. If she cast into Hell, being the first sinner because of being coerced into biting an apple, I would be pretty pissed at Lilith and Lucifer too.

But my money is on Roo. The root of all Evil. Which existed before Adam and Even and "found its way to Earth from that first act of sin."

I mean....look at those red eyes and does that overly stretched smile look familiar? Also the image of "evil finding its way to Earth" moved similar to Alastors own magic.

Alastor seem like a perfect minion for someone like Roo to use while hiding behind the scenes and pulling strings. He the perfect agent of mayhem that him/Roo control. Alastor has little to no reservations acting out depravities, and in fact, embrace it, enjoys it, entertained by it and proud of it.

I'm positive Roo end goal is to reach Heaven and bring it destruction. Extending her evil reach from Hell, to Earth, and ending in Heaven. Charlie hotel is the key and the knowledge of extermination revealed to Heaven is key. Heaven order is experience discord that leaves perfect opportunity to plant seeds of corruption.

When the Hotel learn that sinners can be redeemed, Alastor is adamant that he irredeemable despite Charlie trying to persuade him to turn a new leaf now there's proof. Even if he wanted to, despite all of his many many atrocities that for unfathomable reason can be forgiven in the name of redemption, how can he be redeemed when he an extension of evil incarnate herself?

I have no doubt that Alastor the reason why Lilith is AWOL on Roo orders and sustained a great amount of damage on that act to explain his own absences.

At one point, it will be revealed that to everyone at the Hotel that Alastor was responsible for Lilith disappearing. The information devastating to Charlie who has defended and trust Alastor nonstop. Lucifer might begrudging started to trust Alastor at this point to only for it to shattered now. Which is unfortunate for Alastor because was trying to figure out a way out of his deal before any of this and I think he really grew to care for everyone, even if it was reluctantly so. He may even had a very rare heart to heart moment previously with Charlie only for her to throw it in his face with the lines of "what about (inserted reference of heart to heart moment here), was that just a lie? another way to manipulate me?" and Alastor rare genuine of vulnerable emotions he shared is rtainted and assumed to be all lies and nothing he can say can prove it otherwise.

Numerous pings can be heard from your computer making you turn to your desk in irritation. You were cozy and cuddled up in your comforters which all the more brings you laziness and tiredness. You simply ignored the notifications as you continued scrolling through your phone while lying in bed. However midway through a TikTok video, your screen fades and blaringly plays a familiar ringtone. Someone was calling you and you smiled when you saw who it was. Your best friend (and also the one you slightly have a big crush on), the one and only Camilo Madrigal. 

"What do you want, Camilo?" You said as you brought your phone to your ear.

"I've been giving you pings on Discord! I thought you said you wanted to play Minecraft with us on the server!" Camilo's whiny voice made you burst out in laughter. 

"Okay fine, give me a few minutes" You giggled and hung up the phone. It took you minutes to shuffle under your bedsheets before you stood up to finally go to your desk. The moment you took a seat, you turned on your phone and checked on your Discord notifications. Boy, Camilo really did mention you too much. It made you laugh until the light from your computer took your attention, ready for you to set up your game. While you're at it, you opened the server and saw that there was a voice chat that included Camilo, Carlos, Isabela and Mirabel. You got the urge of excitement as you wore your headphones and opened Minecraft. 

You regretted it.

The moment you joined the call, a bunch of screams welcomed you and took you aback. You jolted in your seat at the ear-piercing yells that might have broken your eardrums. In a hurry you adjusted the volume before you joined the server after Minecraft got opened.

"NOT MY DOG! DON'T KILL MY DOG!" Carlos screamed into his mic. You can hear the rapid clicking of his keyboard. Camilo laughed soon after but later screamed, "NO! HOW DID YOU EVEN GET POTIONS?!"

As soon as you joined the server, your name pops out in chat and Camilo instantly stops screaming to coo at you sweetly, "STOP I'M GONNA MURDER YO- Y/N! I farmed diamonds for you!" You could hear Carlos on the other end scoff in annoyance as he approached Camilo's character. 

You stood there, just watching the two twins do a 1v1 by themselves for no apparent reason. Camilo probably taunted his twin brother first and it escalated from there. You observed them bicker back and forth until they decided to settle on an empty fist-fight through Minecraft. With them armor-less and weapon-less, you decided to step in and bother them with your full diamond armor and Netherite weapons. 

'Carlos was slain by [username]'

"Yeah! Y/N's here to fight for me!" Camilo cheered. You laughed through the mic and smirked to yourself. "Hold that thought, milo."

'Camilo was slain by [username]'

"Serves you right." Carlos laughed this time. He most likely respawned back at the house so you collected their stuff and placed it in a chest for them to come back to. Camilo was whining and yelling the entire time, feeling betrayed.

"I'm gonna go get flowers for the bee farm" You nonchalantly informed the two and left them. You were in the middle of a flower biome anyway, might as well collect flowers at least. While you were doing your task in peace you could still hear the bickering of the two twins while Isabela and Mirabel oftentimes talk on chat, you assumed they were decorating the community house a few blocks away. Once your inventory was full, you slowly made your way back to the house.

"You still haven't gotten your stuff?" You asked an armor-less character of Camilo, making yours stare at his dead in the eye. His head moved around a few times before he puts out a flower on his hand. 

"I did, but I was attacked by a phantom. Went back to run and this is the only thing I managed to salvage" You could hear him pout just from the tone of his voice. It made you giggle in laughter. Sooner while you were giving him a few of your stuff, Isabela and Mirabel's characters popped out on your screen as they entered the house as well. 

"I took your stuff, milo" You heard Mirabel. She walked towards him and started dropping the items for Camilo to collect. While they were at it, you proceeded to your room and started fiddling with your storage, looking for more items to craft. You muted yourself and proceeded to play the game while listening to the rest of the Madrigal grandkids.

"I can't believe you left all your stuff in the open but didn't hesitate to drop that flower of yours" Isabela trail off. Camilo mocked her, still sulking from the sudden death caused by you. "I already named it, I can't lose it"

"Why would you even name a flower?" Mirabel asked with a judging tone. Camilo immediately bickered feeling offended. "Hey! An iron golem dropped it after Carlos murdered it. The least I could do is treat it with love in it's memory!"

"If you love your beloved flower so much than your full enchanted armor then might as well give your loot to me." She bites back, "Or even just marry it at this point because you're still not letting it go from your grasp"

"Look as much as these pixelated flowers are pretty, I don't want to 'marry them'" Camilo muttered, insulted. "Also there is a prettier flower that I can actually see in real life." With that you suddenly forgot what you were doing because you were too invested in their bantering now.

"Its me, I'm the flower" Isabela boasted which led Mirabel to let out sarcastic vomiting noises.

"Ew no," Camilo grimaced, "Y/N is my beloved flower."

You unmuted yourself, and yelled, "WHAT?" 

"WHAT" Camilo panicked as well, "I thought you left vc!" 

You laughed nervously and heard Mirabel and Isabela tease their cousin with squeals. "I've been here the entire time, Camilo. I was only muted!"

"Oh, so it was Carlos who left" You can hear Camilo rapidly type on his keyboard, possibly to message his twin about what happened. He took a glance at the server and saw that Carlos really was offline. He internally cursed himself for being an idiot. 

"So, what was it you said about me being your beloved flower?" You teased a nervous Camilo. You can hear him frantically tapping in his keyboard and a few muttered curses when you hear random objects just fall and scatter around his desk. You and the other girls in the vc kept laughing lightly until you saw that Camilo disconnected from the call and went offline.

Did Jay officially part ways with aomg or is he still an artist?

Also if code kunst left, for sure something bad is happening given that he got a lot of artists to sign (Leehi, wonjae, coogie, kian). And if im not mistaken, Kian signed a little less than a year ago? I originally thought it was an understandable idea for Jvcki to sign there. IDK if it has to do with Meenoi being allowed back. I think Meenoi's situation was just an early sign that there was some discord or miscommunications starting to arise within the company.

IDK how old you are but if you've worked before then you probably already know that when you see this many people leaving a company at once, it's usually an issue with the higher ups (management and even as far up as CEO and other execs) running of the company. So that's why I'm assuming it's the new people in charge who are a big part of the problem.

Hi! Im AroAce and i had a question about being Apl. Im assuming it works the same way that Aro and Ace do in that people feel its a spectrum, but in general, what do relationships in an Apl persons life look like?

You didn't come off as offensive at all, no worries! I can't speak for all apls obviously, cause much like with aces and aros, the relationships an apl has and what those relationships are like varies a ton between different aplatonics.

For me, I have 0 desire for friendship and don't pursue it at all, but I'm not totally opposed if someone wants to be my friend (if they're willing to respect my boundaries of course). I have a single friend right now, and I don't see that changing any time soon if ever. I would say I'm not as social with my friend as most people seem to prefer to be with their friends. We talk more via text than face to face and only hang out once or twice a week despite living together. I'm pretty close with my immediate family, and I'm generally more inclined to socialize with my family than anyone else. I also quite enjoy casual socialization from time to time, and having acquaintances. I like chatting with people over discord or at in person events, and I sometimes like hanging out with my friend's friends (I jokingly call them my friends in law).

That's my general experience, and I've seen a fair few other apls that feel pretty similarly. Though there are of course other apls with wildly different experiences. Some desire friendship, some don't but aren't opposed to it, and some want nothing to do with it. Some consider familial relationship to be included in their aplatonicism and some don't. Some enjoy casual socialization, and some would be happiest if they never had to interact with other people at all. It's a varied experience, and there's no right or wrong way to be aplatonic.

mc strikes me as a very organized person, when it comes to work stuff, and Notion is a great app for people who like organizing things and also want a relatively easy UI to traverse. theres pages and embed functions and checklists and calendars, mc loves it ALL

and she loves that Notion also allows you to customize how everything looks!! so her Notion looks something like this

having a nice Notion page helps her motivation to get things done. looking at tasks and information in a page thats Pretty can do wonders for the soul and brain <3

artem is also a very organized person so he enjoys Notion for the same reasons mc does.

however, he customizes 0 decorations. looks like this

confession: this is how i organize stuff and im bestowing to luke not just cuz i love projecting on him but also cuz it's in character. in his personal story 3, mc mentioned that luke is such a messy person in his own space but manages to know where everything is anyway. it wouldnt be a stretch to assume this extends to a digital space too

one is called Work. the other is called Munchies. the first one is all his work notes, investigations, leads, contacts, everything. the second one is filled with all his usual takeout orders.

both of files started filled up with the thing that their name topic is, but then luke got a bit distracted and started forgetting to check which notepad he was putting shit in. so both note files ends up being like a LONG BLOCK TEXT PARAGRAPH of investigation theories and then followed by "manager’s choice large, garlic n cheese large if mc is coming over" and both files are SO GODDAMN LONG because hes been using em ever since he returned to stellis

hi I have a lot of thoughts about widget. uhh they're very rambly and long, as it was written at about 2am, so if your confused by any of it lmk and ill try to clarify!!

non-mood matrix/ill call it ‘active mode’

so there's 5 basic emotions that it can't recognize– happy, sad, angry, afraid, and surprised. ill talk about the blank screen later. that's a whole other thing. so when there's multiple strong emotions it picks the strongest, and displays that. pretty simple. why this exists is a different question, though. my best guess is that it was made so that others could understand how athena was feeling when she was younger and less expressive (as said by juniper).

mood matrix

there's only 4 emotions here, they mix sad & afraid into what ill call ‘distressed’. (i hc that this is because it wasn't fully completed before ur-1 & they updated the active mode, but hadn't gotten to the mood matrix yet before ur-1.) ANYWAYS. this is pretty much all touched upon in-game but there's a lot glossed over.

the images are caused by athena's inputs and/or memories– not by the testimony itself, so if athena doesn't know something, it's not included in the testimony (this includes location, appearance, people present, etc.) the mood matrixes end on an image that represents the truth that the speaker was hiding.

noise. ough. this is caused when someone's feelings contradict the information submitted– but with emotions that gets pretty subjective pretty quickly.., i think it's based on athena's perspective, because she can sense discord even without the mood matrix active. I think noise & discord are different, wherein noise is when their emotions contradict their testimony & discord is when their emotions contradict themselves, but iirc that's never touched upon in-game.

because noise is measured in percentages, which presumably means that the mood matrix doesn't work/ has no use when there aren't any contradictions..? like trying to perceive someone who isn't lying. the amount that the percentages go down(/up) shows… something. presumably how many contradictory emotions there are in the testimony. but there's…. one example that stands out to me. the phantom. despite the sheer amount of odd/contradictory emotions, the mood matrix puts it (i don't remember what number.., i think it's 90%?) despite there being more contradictory emotions, and doesn't fluctuate despite the emotion fluctuating. maybe it only recognises the fear as genuine? despite picking up on the odd emotions.

basically, noise is super confusing and i have no clue what's going on there

now… the phantom… he's complicated. when he bugs out the mood matrix with the random influx of emotions, it's stated in-game that it's because he has such a control on his feelings that he can artificially create emotion. that the mood matrix picks up on. which means he actually felt all of those flickering emotions during that testimony… i think? because the hearing of emotions is separate from inflection/ how they act. and yet, it's portrayed as only the fear being genuine, especially with what mentioned previously with the lack of fluctuation in the noise? which, if so, were the other emotions not genuine? then how did the mood matrix pick up on it? is it because he runs away from his emotions, and therefore doesn't validate them, therefore not making it genuine to him? but can't fully run from the fear despite trying? im so confused.

this one is vague, but a relatively simple concept. when she thinks something ‘loud enough’, widget will blurt it out for her. what differentiates between what's said and what isn't is beyond me, but i assume it's based on how strong the emotion associated with it is. my best guess is that this function was designed to aid athena in communicating? she was said to be very quiet as a kid so I think it would make sense.

I think it's an unregistered/unknown input or widget turning off. the program is probably in a constant loop, which checks her emotion each time. there are finite inputs & outputs. if the input is ‘happy’ then the output is the change of the display to the green smiley face. if the input is ‘angry’ the output is displaying the angry face. you get the gist i hope? now, when the input is unrecognized, it either outputs the blank screen as some sort of default, or it breaks the loop, shutting the entire device off. there are slight differences in the two, wherein if it was a default, the code would return to acting like normal once the emotion was recognized again. if it broke the loop, it would require athena to manually turn widget back on.

i personally believe it's the former specifically because of turnabout academy, when athena snaps back from the blank icon & widget displays the angry icon. that being said, this doesn't rule out the other option, as she could've just manually turned back on while the screen was not on her.

(this is different to when filch/sarge takes athena, as it still has a visible face there^^)

other theory i have that is a little bit less grounded in reality but still has some reasonings:

widget wasn't originally designed for athena. the reason i think this is because of the mood matrix. when metis died, athena was just 11. she wouldn’t have been able to use it, at least not effectively. also, as seen by athena’s memories, she didn’t receive widget until after her mothers death, which is why she wasn’t wearing it at the time. I think that there are definitely some aspects that point to it being designed with athena in mind, specifically the blurt mechanic, but it would almost make more sense if it was originally designed for metis, and then shifted over to fit athena better?

Didnt dream confirm that the insta dms in which he gave out his private snapchat were true? Like regardless of whether there even was a snapchat conversation, that's kinda sketchy to me & he should definitely stop doing that in the future. Whatever his intention was I'd definitely take it as an "oh he wants to sext & send nudes" thing and I really dont thing im the only one. He already has a public snap where he sends his random photos and hes probably not face revealing to some rando so...

To clarify, Dream's statement on the matter was that "he believes the instagram dms are real". This statement was made less than 6 hours (edit with correction, he had less than 6 hrs not 10) after the relevant allegations were released, and he was trying to respond to two different situations, all while (according to his report) he had a very limited amount of time to respond. Having read over it a few times, he clearly had some confusion between the allegations, and I'm doubtful he had time to fact check everything. God knows it took me several hours to get everything even kind of in order.

I'm personally not taking that as 100% confirmation that the instagram dms are real and unaltered in any manner. We've already seen via the prior video on tik tok that Amanda removed at least 3 of her own messages at some point prior to posting her accusation. While I've heard some people say that they remove instagram dms regularly, and I don't think that instantly makes her claims invalid or anything, I do think it raises question about information that could've been omitted. Omission is a form of alteration, even if it's not done with intent to change the message. I also haven't seen/haven't been able to find any record of what her instagram profile was/may've said at the time, which could add further context to the conversation (if she was listing herself as older and if her account was a fan account vs a cc style account would be very relevant to the conversation at hand. I haven't seen that information made public, but if someone else has it please feel free to send it to me! (only if it was made public by her though, I do not want to engage in anything that was doxxed)).

This is part of why I've said that I want clarification on the matter from Dream before I cast any judgement. I'm not saying the instagram dms are fake, I believe the majority of them are probably real, but I also don't want to take them as 100% confirmed and unaltered when we know some amount of unaddressed alteration did occur. That's part of my issue with casting judgement on them.

Putting that aside, having read through the entire instagram conversation, I can kinda of see how Dream might've ended up offering a snapchat he uses for dming people (I believe, although do not quote me on this, he's said he likes to use snapchat for communication). Amanda had been asking him for advice on becoming a streamer, she'd been asking to play games with him, she'd been talking about being lonely, and it'd been well over a year since she'd mentioned/talked about being a fan prior to getting his snapchat. That may've been the start of their interactions, but it didn't color them very much. In the actual lead up to exchanging information, the two of them had started talking about music which is the first point where Dream actually seemed to show interest in the conversation.

If Dream was genuinely interested in talking to her, or felt bad for her and wanted to cheer her up, I could see him offering his snapchat to be able to talk to her on a platform he actually uses regularly. Particularly if he thought/was seeing her more as a small streamer/cc than a fan.

I don't think it's fair to assume that if he did offer her his private snapchat, that his intent was sexual/send nudes. I think it's important to add the context of Dream's social media's here. Any of his public platforms are going to be totally flooded, and responding to dms is going to be very difficult. God knows his discord is similarly overwhelmed. He's not going to be giving out his phone number to someone he doesn't know. Having a private snapchat to be able to talk to people who he doesn't know but may want to get to know isn't actually particularly unreasonable.

Now, let me be clear, I still think that this would be fucking stupid. If a friend of mine was a famous cc and did that, I'd probably give them a Look and be like "dude". I would agree he should be more careful about this in the future. But I don't think that it would prove malicious intent or is inherently predatory. Particularly given the context that is still missing from the situation (prior messages that may've been removed, her profile at the time).

As a rule, I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, and not assume malicious intent where none has been proven. I want to give that to both parties in this situation, which is why I'm waiting for clarified statements about what both parties contend as fact, and what evidence they actually have of stuff occurring. Again, hopefully reviewed by lawyers and properly documented.

Kin Walmart person inspired me, I have kin drama tales. I got roped into running a danganronpa v3 kinblog with some other people I barely knew when I was..12 maybe? I’ve repressed most of it.

They had a discord server where we all hung out and it was hellish, even ignoring the nsfw chat that was open to both the minors and the adults in the server. It was a ‘never specify no doubles cause we don’t wanna be THOSE kinnies but if you kin a character someone else kins they will make you really uncomfortable about it/will probably talk about it in a vent chat later’. At some point there was really inconsequential beef between the Ouma of the server and one of the other main mods whose kin I can’t remember so Ouma was kicked from the server along with his partner, Amami. I don’t think they could do much about him being on the actual tumblr blog so to be petty about being kicked out he fucked with the blogs theme and hid it from search results. I think there was infighting before they figured out it was him. Ships involving the members kins and Ouma were blacklisted in some kind of retaliation. 90% of this happened before v3 was even out. These people were almost all in their 20s iirc, I was 12. I think someone also faked their death only to immediately come back two days later to complain about the validity of xenogenders though I could be mixing it up with a different server I was in, I’ve been through the wringer. The kin blog is still up btw.

How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW?

Friends I'll write everything from the beginnings 'til the ends of an intimate encounter, but I'll also always follow my writing partner's cues and comforts in that regard. I don't and won't write smut. More power to those that do, of course. It's just not my thing. But intimate scenes needn't be smutty and I'll write, like I say, all the detail my partner's happy with. We start mentioning parts and private zones, that's NSFW and it'll be tagged as such. Mine is, //Behind Closed Doors.

Who are other muses you ship your muse with?

I've been shipping with @hislittledxll since...2016? With @brooklynislandgirl for perhaps a sneeze less time? So they're my darlings and I don't know what I'd do without them. Other, newer shippy-loves are @vxctorx and @id1eyouth. A dear friendSHIP is had with @tabbyrp, likewise @corinnebaileyrp. Like I say, I'll consider ships of any kind with anyone.

Yes please. Scream at me about our muses in my DMs. Pounce on me on Discord. I'll do the exact same. Assuming shipping - any kind but romantic especially - will only get my (and Ron's) back up. He's an easy flirt, bless 'im, but there's A L O T of heck-fire and dagnabit this man's been through and dealing with and just...inviting oneself into his intimate circle...It won't work.

How often do you like to ship?

I do like it lots, definitely. I'm mulling over happy little motes of inspiration almost constantly. But it's not mandatory by any means. I'll write anything that interests me. So bring it in pals!

Ship more-or-less. There's more to life, more to writing, but gosh it's fun.

Other than the ones I've made up round the characters I write Ron with? XD I...don't really know I have a fandom specifically. Some pairings I've loved to see in recent media include Paul and Chani in Dune/Dune 2, and Lestat and Louis in Interview With The Vampire (it's so toxic...SO TOXIC, but so beautifully done).
