Soup's ramble about small details because im going insane lmao
rockstar row is just such a cruel place for GlamFreddy,
Like, first of all, are the FNAF 4 toys on display in the RR museum,
These are literally just CC's toys, idk if they're replica's or the real ones, but like why would they even put that on display lmao??? It may just be a fun easter egg but like this just comes across as if saying "yeah, here's the toys of the child that one of out animatronic killed lol"
And that's not even starting to how they even PROCURED these???
At the far end of RR is the Ennard cardboard cutout, which may just be a piece of decor that i'm looking into too much but like
if its not, then this implies that Fazbear Entertainment KNOWS about Ennard. As to how, I'm not sure, maybe since the games are cannon because of the "rogue indie developer", they came to know of Ennard's existence, does that mean they know what he did to Michael? and if so, they STILL made a cut out of him???? Is this one of those instances where a company "pokes fun" at itself in order to seem hip and cool?? because that's so messed up lmao 😭😭😭
do you think when Glamfreddy sees the cutout he has a visceral flashback to…something....and suddenly he's on the floor, just unable to move because he's reliving that something, and then he's just panicking for what ever reason and just shuts down windows XP style and has to manually be transferred back into his green room.
Its almost cruel in a way how Rockstar Row is basically just a MUSEUM for all of Michael's trauma and failures, and he probably can't even ignore it because he probably has to keep his greenroom curtains open 24/7 to ensure that guests can see GlamFreddy, and the fact that the Foxy cutout is directly parallel to his greenroom
AND THATS NOT EVEN TO *BEGIN* WITH THE PLUSH BABY'S, IMAGINE IF GLAMFREDDY WAS FACED WITH A SITUATION WHERE HE HAD TO SIGN HIS AUTOGRAPH ONTO A PLUSHIE THAT IS OF THE ROBOT THAT KILLED HIS SISTER ALL THOSE YEARS AGO,
Its so crazy how FazEnt just....makes merch of all the tragedy?? And profits from it, and GlamFreddy/Glammike just has to....endure that???
Like just constantly having your trauma being put on full display all around you is so so messed up 😭
yaknow i kind of feel bad for carlos because even if i don't agree with his attitude, he's absolutely getting more hate than others would be if they were acting the same way precisely because his teammate is charles. like. anyone is going to look extra bad compared to a teammate who never says a bad thing about anyone ever in press and seems perpetually in love with ferrari and motivated to help the team as a whole and is also, you know, insanely talented.
in the grand scheme of ferrari, carlos comes out looking even worse because his interviews get followed up with charles's angelic "only complain privately" approach... against others it'd be like oh, racing drivers are just selfish like that, all teammates screw each other over from time to time but still care for the team it's fine, etc. etc., but the problem is that charles isn't selfish like that generally so it just looks extra rude to do it to him 😭
how would you POTENTIALLY feel abt people drawing your OCs....potentially maybe possibly
Imma be 100% real if anybody actually took the time outta their day to draw any of my ocs I would deadass cry, like full ass tears, that would be so amazing
the way so many people are complaining, like, “this season lacked of stakes” (because there was no death??) and it’s like... when did we become so addicted to cynical pieces of media, expecting characters to die, for a story to have “stakes” or any emotional payoff?
why, tf, are there people who can’t settle for a (temporary, because there is a s4) clear-cut happy ending? and i find it particularly ironic considering s1 and s2 also end up on a clear-cut happy ending but somehow it wasn’t “a lack of stakes” back then... *rolls eyes*
i just feel like so many people forgot what star wars is: star wars is luke and han strolling randomly around an imperial base and finding leia just chilling even tho she is the rebellion’s leader. them escaping because obi wan bee-booped the right button. star wars is a bunch of teddy bears saving the galaxy. star wars is anakin skywalker pressing random buttons on a spaceship as a 10 years old and winning a war just like that. star wars is jar jar dropping a ball out of sheer clumsiness and zapping a whole bunch of droids just like that. star wars is grogu being captured by imperial guards on episode 7 of season 1 and being rescued by ig-11 not even 2 minutes into the final episode. star wars is nanny ig-11 just zooming around nevarro destroying the whole imperial army without a scratch to him or yknow, the baby he carried with him. did people forget how the other two seasons were also completely “lacking dramatic stakes”??? because they’re just there, i watched the two previous seasons just before s3 and let me tell you: they’re the same. the arc is the same: grogu (din on s3) gets taken on the penultimate (or one before on s2) episode, somehow the search party does everything right and everything is solved by the end of the season. even more than that, on s1 kuiil dies on episode 7, here, paz vizsla dies on episode 7. so. no death??? why is it a problem now?
like?? no stakes?? a whole exiled people finding their rightful place on their planet and ridding their homeworld of the invader that is the empire, wasn’t enough for y’all??
like i get it, y’all love the depressing era of andor and all, which is fine, to each their own. but why does it prevent other shows of just being what they want to be? yknow, potentially goofy and yknow, actually hopeful? because we know how cassian andor ends up. he dies. it’s horrible, it’s sad, it’s depressing. like, are we really out there pretending that din and grogu’s storyline wouldn’t be as fullfilling because they don’t die in what is basically an atomic explosion or something???
I will say, some people seem to read a lot of subtext into Caleb not entertaining asking Essek for help to mean that they're not a priority for each other, when frankly, it read to me, as a person whose partner has traveled for work a majority of the time for six years now, as the type of situation where sometimes you have to go, "Lol, I'm not waking him up for this, it's not that big a deal," and just handle it. (Even things that a lot of other people would consider big deals!)
It's very possible and honestly likely that they are not in a place where they've solidified what their relationship is, but that doesn't mean that they aren't a priority to the other person—it's just that what that looks like when you are not in the same place a majority of the time is different than the norm.
Yeah that's gonna result in some chaos for sure lmao. Bald guy on bald guy violence.
Thing is, it's not like they're polar opposites. They're both nerds, they both like political intrigue, they're both driven, they're both talkers but also just awkward messes, and if things went differently they might have actually gotten along. However, they really don't fdhslfdhk.
There is some mutual respect, and they're civil enough when interacting, but mostly they're just pretending to ignore the other lolol. Again, both of them are driven, but they each think the other is being way too stubborn and self-righteous about their opinions and methods. Solas is obviously very secretive and trust is important to Ari, so that alone is already a dealbreaker. He would respect Solas for his (supposed) knowledge, IF their conversations wouldn't, 9/10 times, be variations of "You're wrong" - "Care to elaborate?" - "No.", which drives him crazy. And this kind of goes both ways lol, cos on the other side Solas is constantly frustrated with how Ari does things, made worse by the fact that Solas has Opinions TM but Ari will Not take Solas's input on most things seriously because he is petty like that. Which, btw, he is pretty much only like that with Solas specifically.
So yea, if anything, they act like a divorced couple xD They're too similar in exactly the ways that make them clash, but i will say it is very fun to watch the petty passive aggressive quarrels these two have lmao
With seulgi solo out, (I really liked it! Tho the mv was meh I wish for the two seulgi scene they had one of them in the snow white outfit and the other in the grimhilde outfit then they cut to the one seulgi in a combined sort of outfit or any outfit really so it could show good and evil in one person but oh well lol) it made me go back to Irene and Seulgi subunit Monster and got me wondering how the heck it worked so so well.
Bc I see many covers of monster from idols as well like two of the izone girls, dreamcatcher girls, and not a monster cover but it gives off similar vibes-- ryujin and yeji break my heart. But they all don't quite hit as hard as the original which makes me wonder what Irene and Seulgi had if that makes sense?? Like their chemistry is very alluring and I feel like the two of them balanced each other out very well. What are your thoughts? If I made sense LMAO
yea i agree they should have at least had the opposing outfits for seulgi for that scene, it would have actually fit the theme lmao.
in terms of monster and why it worked, i think it worked because of all the combined factors (top tier skills, good choreo, it was designed for them in the first place etc etc), but one thing that i think stands out in comparison to people doing covers and itzy break my heart is that the chemistry between seulgi and irene is actively complex. one of the things that makes monster so interesting is that it's really hard to tell who either of them hate more: each other, or you, the viewer. and on top of that they also play a love for each other that surpasses anything they'd give you, so you'd better get out of there real quick if you don't want to end up on the wrong end of a stiletto (knife or shoe). but with break my heart especially, it's a very one note 'cheeky ironic bad girl' performance; you don't really get the sense that they'd actually do anything you to or themselves. it's toothless. with monster there feels like a real threat coming from seulrene that if you even looked at them the wrong way they'd have no hesitation killing you and then each other, just on principle.
