This is more of a reasoning… We know that Magnifico studied magic to fulfill people's wishes. But… What about combat magic? Yes, he can probably lift heavy objects with magic and throw them long distances. But what about the same protective dome? We saw knights, and what about managing living armor so that in case of danger you don’t lose a lot of people? Of course this is a huge waste of energy. But this is just a theory; in any case, I don’t have a black cauldron.

So, I think it is very important to note, that Magnifico didn't solely learn "magic" just to be able to grant wishes. This is how Asha thought it went but let me explain why she was wrong there. Like she was wrong with most of things *cough*

Magnifico first and foremost started learning "magic" so he could make his goal to create a place where everyone is safe come true. The utopia of Rosas. This is what he told Asha. He wanted to make sure that he could protect people as best as possible and never let his past repeat, let alone let it happen to anyone else!

So, with that motivation in mind, he feverishly studied anything he could. We saw Magnifico use his abilities (mostly controlling the elements ) in his everyday life.

The whole "wish granting" thing came much later.

There are only 2 reasons Magnifico created this system, and I cannot believe some people still bend themselves backwards to paint this as evil! ( No, I won't go into a full deep dive now cause I will explain this point throughly in an upcoming post )

Nr. 1 Best possible protection

Nr 2. Making his people happy in turn

Combat ... hmmm. Magnifico is a good fighter. He is immensly fit and you won't believe how well he can fight unless you see him in action. But simply by realizing how high he can jump and how he literally runs up a few thousand stairs without losing his breath should tell you a lot!

I'm very certain that he could have done a lot with his abilities. Bringing armor to life as we've seen. When it comes to his royal guard, I bet he tweaked the armor. Meaning, the whole armor is magically hardened more than any normal material could ever get, giving his guards a way more protected suit. Same goes for the swords and shields. He made sure that each sword was altered so it cannot break, the shields be fire proof. He would have stressed a ton and not rested until he was certain his guards would be safe to face a potential battle.

Also, there is a reason Magnifico built the whole kingdom by his own hand. I've revealed a bit of it in that last snippet from my book. Not only got every single house built by magic altered materials, he also has this massive underground system. He literally left no stone unturned to assure safety.

Can we please have a timeline of Paul's tattoos?

Interesting ask (that i had laying in my drafts for a while)... i tried to find somewhere that he talked about his tattoos himself, but i couldn't pin anything down (if someone has info, please let me know 🌺)

As far as i'm aware he has four

right shoulder

left bicep

these two seem to have not been there before 2007 and definitely after 2009, and as they are similar in design and seemingly age, i wouldn't be surprised if he had these done pretty quick after one another

Then the one on the left in his neck, that is definitely newer than the two arm tattoos

which is not there yet at the Brisant interview to the 'Live in Paris' premiere early 2017

and is in this 2018 interview

And then ofcourse he has a small tattoo on his left wrist, this one is generally believed to be one that he has together with his wife Arielle (she has a similar one 🥰)

The last one is probably the hardest to pinpoint timewise as it is often covered behind wristbands or sleeves, but in these screenshots from Paul and Arielle dated december 2016 she has hers, so i'm assuming he had his then too 🌺

So timeline wise i'm going with:

neck

Got any life advice to share?

really do brush your teeth twice a day and if you have dental coverage get cleanings as often as they'll let you. teeth are complicated and expensive to fix and if they go bad they can give you so many other health problems and discomfort. don't hold yourself back from creating because you're worried it won't be good enough. the end result doesn't matter as much as you think it does. it's really okay to put yourself out there and be sincere and try to connect with people. it won't always land but that's okay. you're not gonna be everyone's cup of tea just like not everyone is yours. you don't want to try and be someone every single person would like because who would that person even be? just be you. no one can do it better. you may not always feel 100% about a tough decision. sometimes you only get to 80%, 60%, or less. sometimes you have to just make the best decision you can and see how it plays out. refusing to choose is also a choice, and usually means you just end up with what's most convenient for everyone else. peace at any price just means the worst people end up in charge. don't be afraid to speak out. find a way to have compassion for yourself and grow that into love. you have to be on your own team. you're the one person you'll always have to count on, so be someone you can count on.

the obvious point of speculation from Owarimonogatari is what would have happened if Araragi brought Ougi with him instead of Hanekawa to Sodachi's studio, but how do you think it would have turned out if anyone else took Hanekawa's place? (such as Senjogahara, Kanbaru or Nadeko)

mmm... i think for all of them except maybe kanbaru it would go poorly

i will share my two thoughts on what might happen if you brought ougi first though. i think it would have gone the same as hanekawa for a little bit but then there wouldnt be any deescalation and in fact only escalation from ougi, making the whole thing much worse. probably araragi and sodachi's relationship would not likely have the chance to recover, and ougi would reveal the answer to the mystery sodachi has before sodachi even asked for the two of them to solve it... and i cant see her being able to feel quite so calm if its not just her and koyomi talking about it, and especially if ougi reveals it before sodachi even has the chance to ask and just springs it on her... ougi being the one revealing the mystery makes it much more antagonizing. there's a really really good artwork that shows some of this... i need to find the artist before i post it though curse you reverse image searches for never working

if you brought senjougahara she would not be helpful in the slightest. bringing her for that confrontation would mean she'd be expected to offer comfort to sodachi at a time where she was still kind of pissed at her probably for hurting her boyfriend. and she just would not do that. i can't see sodachi apologizing for it before the mystery is solved so i cant see senjougahara saying anything that isn't a barb, even if its something that would otherwise be helpful. actually this one might be worse than ougi bc she wouldnt even care enough about the mystery to help with it at all either. forget araragi and sodachi rekindling their relationship or having any kind of friendliness between them with her around no way not happening.

nadeko would also not be helpful at all bc shes still uwu nadeko at this point. she'd just be like 'ummm... err........' in the corner and not say anything or just be talking so quietly no one would hear her. and when sodachi attacked araragi she'd just be like 'thats not true! koyomi onii chan is the best and he's super nice...... he wouldnt do anything like that...............' and it would NOT HELP AT ALL LOL

kanbaru could do it. i believe in her. she would NOT be able to solve the mystery but she would definitely be able to help ease tensions and stop things from getting worse. she's very emotionally intelligent and mature and she'd be able to understand what to say and when or if to say it. this is the best one other than hanekawa bc the relationship would be stabilized and even though they wouldnt be able to solve the mystery together ougi would just be coming by to do that anyway. so it would end up mostly the same. good end

From what I’ve read, late 2024 or sometime in 2025 depending on the strikes, but I truly have no idea. It could be even later.

I do wonder what SNW will look like when, presuming the unions win, the show is no longer built on the backs of exploited labor.

Why do I imagine Chozen would never confront or attack, or even approach Terry if his beloved, or optionally, Terry's children with beloved were around?

I feel that outside of his own temperament, he'd have a sense of honor and old fashioned decorum where the way he sees it, this doesn't concern Terry's loved ones, only Terry himself, man to man. If beloved ever even accidentally ran into Chozen while Chozen was merely intending to approach Terry not realizing they were present, he'd simply bow his head and silently and very grimly retreat.

This somehow feels fitting.

I once had an ask that characterized Amanda as the type to slap Terry's beloved just for the sake of it and I really don't agree, all due respect. If anything, Amanda would be convinced beloved's in trouble merely by being with Terry and she'd covertly offer help, not realizing it isn't necessary. Slapping? No. Acting a bit patronizing and misjudging the relationship with ultimately good, albeit misguided intentions at heart? Yes. Basically, what I mean to say, mwah, chef's kiss, this is nice characterization. I think Chozen (and Johnny, whoever we see approaching the Cobra Kai dojo in the S5 trailer) scope out the place, and while the prospect of tapping into his...damsel kidnapping ways amidst a death duel of the 80′s back in Okinawa, he’s patient and steady as and they see Terry with beloved, hugging, kissing and talking on the front entrance of the studio, Terry's tinted window vehicle and chauffeur awaiting to pick beloved up and Johnny's entirely ready and out to approach them right there and there and teach the old man a lesson in front of his squeeze but Chozen places his hand Lawrence's chest and pushes him back, halting him in his tracks, with that gloomy, darkened expression of his. Another time.

HI! sorry for the silly question, but since you're always so nice in answering questions I thought of you… But do the skaters wear pantyhose during the competitions?! in some cases I think it's noticeable, but for example I don't think Tessa ever wore them 🤷🏻‍♀️

Haha (no it’s not a silly question I like convos about all these little insider/trade secrets 😄). yes they do- just about all of them do (I can’t think of an instance I’ve seen when someone hasn’t). And yes Tessa always did- she just happened to wear ones that were very well matched to her skin colour (so very pale)- which I love btw because it’s super distracting when they wear stockings that don’t match their actual skin tone. That makes it hard to tell that she is.

It’s the same with some of her dresses that have invisible mesh, eg mahler. For the longest time I thought she just had it Hollywood taped down, but in some pictures only- incredibly hard to see on video, there’s a piece of verryyy faint mesh. Same thing with her Sochi dresses with that kind of halter style.

Here you can faintly see the difference in tones in a straight like where the straps meet the actual dress, and even harder to see on the bottom two pics where her neck line starts:

Here in MR, (I’ve circled it because it’s so hard to see) the top of her stockings just poking out.

You can also see in this picture how well her stockings (sorry that what I call pantyhose) is matched to her actual skin tone.

She also (for the majority of her career) would sew herself into her dresses, namely her leotard (part of her dress) to her stockings which is maybe the easiest way to tell that she’s wearing them:

(I swear i’ve seen pictures where you can see it clearer but this will do) (also I’m not gonna circle it because I don’t want any sickos to come along and get any ideas) but if you look at the line of her leotard you can see it notches out at one point- that’s where it’s sewed down. This is to prevent it riding up and causing a.. wegie 🫣🤭, but that can be a big distraction let alone uncomfortable and with the type of partnering they do, especially the lycra against synthetic pantyhose material can slip. She wouldn’t do this for shows where she has to change costumes lots of times but for competition where she’s in them for a bit longer, as far as I’ve seen she almost always did this.

They wear pantyhose mostly for hygiene purposes but also the cold of the rink. When you fall on ice hard and if your skin isn’t protected (even lightly) for eg on your knee it can cause quite ugly and painful scrapes/scars/lacerations. As well for the partnered disciplines where the girls are often upside down, and considering this is a sport that is shown on TV, it just gives a little extra.. safe guard/protection (I can’t think of a better word to use) for the women. I don’t believe it’s mandatory for them to wear pantyhose but the majority, if not all of them do. We might see this start to change more now with pants/unitards allowed in the free dance (it used to only be for certain RD/SD/OD styles, eg hip hop/blues, where the women could wear pants but it’s now being allowed in the FD no matter the style (I’m not sure about other RD rhythms).

General answer? This 👇🏼

Seriously, Magnifico is beyond done with anything magic ... especially dark arts. He'd pack up everyone - animals included - and evacuate Rosas asap. He has some big ships after all. He'd be "Nope. Nope. Nope! Not doing this. If they want that island, let them have it. Gonna find another island." He'll do everything to keep his loved ones and his people safe. And worst case, if those evil ones wanted his head for whatever reason, he'd sacrifice himself without any doubt ( give his life ) in exchange for the freedom of his people.

He wouldn't let his soldiers fight because they wouldn't be able to do much anyway. And since "evil" of such kind will only kill and destroy anyway. Better to run and get everyone safe than try to fight a threat you cannot defeat.

My christian faith based answer would be this :

The only way to defeat such evil would be if Magnifico would let God work his power through him as a vessel. Think Moses here. God worked miracles through Moses "parting the red sea so he (Moses) and his people could flee from the Egyptians.

Any kind of evil stands no chance against God. No power whatsoever. No evil will ever be more powerful than God. So, while human power is limited, God's isn't. And if Magnifico would rely on God to display his powers through him in supernatural abilities, then yes, he would be able to defeat any enemy! ✨️ So, if we go with Mico working out supernatural abilities given by God, he would kick them butts 🤣 they'd go running like squealing puppies!

And whilst we're on the topic, Khira Li's name is also unusual, especially Li, that's very east Asian.

That's a good question actually, i read somewhere that Margaux is a French expatriate, but i don't know where to look for confirmation of that 🤔

Merlin Besson is the son (as you probably know) of Tatjana Besson, but in this article i read that she was actually born with another name, but again, not sure how to verify that information 🌺

Idk if you would do this or not but-

Can you Wright a error and ink switch roles for a day?

Example: instead of error being a destroyer, he would be a creator for a day and would create the weirdest shit.

Error wouldn't know what to do with themselves. For so long, they would only destroy not... Protect or whatever.

He would create a lot of his dolls, most likely. It's quicker than sewing them! Though they... Feel wrong too.

All of this did. Yet, he kept trying. Making them out of fabrics he normally couldn't get.

He learned some textures he liked, and some he didn't.

He wouldn't create any AUs, not that he even could. That's not something that even Ink could do.

Speaking of Ink! He would find it strange. The feeling to destroy... Is this what Error feels all the time? Ripping pages out of a book gave him a surge that he wasn't expecting.

He just sat, tearing out the pages. The story couldn't be read now... Why did it feel good?

He does erase one AU, one he had hated for a long time and then went to sleep. Hed wait until tomorrow to do anything.
