I wish that people gave a shit about nonbinary people who don’t use they/them pronouns. You can literally give your friend group (which includes another nonbinary person) a list of your favorite pronouns, none of which include they/them, and mention several times that you don’t like they/them pronouns for yourself, but they’ll make the switch from she/her pronouns to…they/them. And feel super proud of themselves for being sooo progressive as to use they/them pronouns for you….when those aren’t your pronouns.

I think that saying “he she and they are my least favorite but are fine in combination with other things…I’m really fine with any neos but here’s a list of my faves that you can choose from!” Is polite and not a difficult request. I’m not good at being a pushy person, and I shouldn’t need to be.

Other people seem to be going hard with the theory that this is the West baby. I can get that, the West baby had been kidnapped by the Fraction in Jai's future storyline. So I can understand making that connection.

However... Jai said that the Flash family was searching through time and space for the missing West baby. Wouldn't they just... pop into the past and grab him?

Also.... wouldn't he know who Bart and Ace are? Especially given that Bart is still Impulse when the West baby gets kidnapped? The mystery kid only reacted to Wally's face and it wasn't a joyful reunion.

It was pure shock. Like he'd just seen a ghost.

Guys, Gals and Nonbinary Pals... That's not the West baby. That's the Allen baby.

Things I’m excited to see in s5

- Azure Lion finding out who was pulling the strings the whole time (his eyes glowed ink green when he achieved his goal and I think that that’s something)

- The reveal of who stole the scroll and presumably gave it to Jin & Yin or AL (I firmly believe it wasn’t Azure because the person in the cloak had human proportions)

- Azure getting stuck with leaderly responsibilities (this could very well be played for comedy)

- Everyone learns why exactly the Jade Emperor being absorbed(?) is such a bad thing for the universe

- Peng insulting more people down to their core (I am firmly on the side of the fandom that likes that bird and I think he’s got an interesting role in the group dynamic)

- Yellow Tusk being wise in a significant way (like maybe a line where he’s like “Hey Azure, something’s up with you, maybe calm down a little?”

- Nezha being taught that he has value beyond what post he can take up and maybe having a cute moment where he at least smiles

- More content regarding Princess Iron Fan’s days as a celestial (this one I’m fine with because that shot with her and DBK’s first meeting is everything to me)

- More DBK angst (dude clearly has an issue with being called “weak” and I want to see another adorable shot with him and his wife saving each other from the ink)

- Red Son confronting his own issues + maybe even his parental abuse (maybe we could get flashbacks if we’re lucky)

- MK OR MEI RESCUING RED SON (if the show ends up leaving the fam in the scroll because they’re villains and it gets them out of the way I will be PISSED)

- MK, Macaque and the audience finally seeing what mind games Wukong was being put through (because we didn’t actually get to see that in s4 and since he never got out I bet we’re being set up to finally see him and Mac’s fallout in s5)

- More monkey form MK (hopefully him eventually coming to “embrace it” without “accepting his destiny”)

- MK finding out what exactly Subodhi meant by the stone being remade to make another celestial / demon monkey, but MK not actually being born from the stone (maybe getting to meet that goddess in the artwork who potentially shaped him (Quanyin?))

- Finding out what happened to the Samadhi Fire (we haven’t seen Mei use it since LBD and the only time it was mentioned since was Subodhi talking about it in past tense, and honestly if the writers nerfed her simply because they had trouble write conflict while Mei had that universe-destroying power I’m kinda chill with that)

- Sandy’s being “too nice for [his] own good” becoming a character flaw that he has to get past in order to save his friends (someone on tumblr came up with the theory that Sandy’s hiding something and being super nice on purpose and I haven’t been able to stop thinking of it)

- Seeing WTF happened to the Mayor after LBD’s defeat (did he shrivel up and die because his source of immortal power was destroyed? did he actually get arrested by the Megapolis law enforcement that we’ve never seen because everyone saw their mayor hanging behind the demon freezing and destroying the city + he’s more closely connected to human society than any of the other villains so he deserves a human punishment? Or did he actually get away and is currently plotting revenge while having an identity crisis? (please writers even if he anticlimactically died off-screen I WANT TO KNOW))

#wow ok this was a lot of stuff #but I wanted to cover all of my thoughts #I might actually think of more later so I might ykow add part 2.5 #lego monkie kid #lego monkie kid season 5 #lmk #lmk s5 #lmk season 5 #longpost #I'm so invested in this 2 part season #they really left episodic format behind since season 3 #Lily Orchard is gonna hate this #but Ink MK is right #now that they've experienced all that they have it's impossible to go back #the show is clearly disregarding that old rule of episodic superhero shows not developing their protagonists or acknowledging their trauma #LMK is becoming darker and I have mixed feelings about it #also I did not expect MK to actually be surprised that his name could also be an acronym for his title #I guess he really wasn't lying when he said his name was so long he went by MK #his mind was BLOWN #love that identity realization for him #at first I was sceptical of monkey mk being canonized #because I thought it was fine that mk was just a normal teenager who inexplicably had easy access to the monkey king's powers #it is a kid's show after all #but Tang pointing it out actually proved the show had more thought put into it than I'd realized #of course that's not to say that the show isn't clever or doesn't have meaning #I just thought lmk was going to be more like a thoughtless kid's show with a bit of heart #but honestly #considering my child self #I would've been so grateful for this plot twist #because I was a kid who analyzed the heck out of any show I watched

tighnari fans stop posting pictures of neglected/irresponsibly kept exotic pets because they remind you of your blorbo challenge

#fennec foxes are cute yes but they are also terrible pets #its bad for you and for the fox #ultimately theyre wild animals and there are things you just cant train into or out of them #and they have a very specific set of care needs including their diet and vet care that are pretty much impossible to meet #unless you can literally run a private zoo i guess #not to mention the whole having to be taken away from their parents way too early to be hand raised by humans thing #please be more skeptical about the welfare and safety of a completely undomesticated wild canine kept in someone's living room #like im no expert on this shit but its very clearly heavily questionable at least #just because you can find websites saying that fennec foxes 'aren't for everyone' doesn't mean people are informed enough about the needs o #this animal and responsible about keeping them. it is far more likely that any pet fox you see on social media is not in fact #being kept in adequate conditions #if people want the animal they will convince themselves that 'not for everyone' doesn't apply to them and overestimate themselves #you should always be skeptical about wild animals in captivity. even those kept by people who claim they've done their research #obviously don't fall for the idea that animals have to be broken out of zoos for their 'freedom' or whatever #just yknow. consider the animal beyond how cute it is. they are living creatures. not just fun internet images #also tighnari would fucking tear you a new one for this his whole job revolves around protecting wildlife from ignorant ppl and vice versa

i just got totally distracted by trying to figure out the notes to that chord at the start of the mario galaxy overture that scared the balls out of me as a little kid and i always button mashed to get out of the title screen before it played but now it fills me with severe emotions. i call it either a Bmaj7add#5 or simply an Eb triad played on top of a B triad, theyre both essentially the same thing it just kinda depends on how you interpret the voicing

#anyway it makes total sense that the chord freaked me out as a baby cause 1) a 10 yr old does not know how to deal with dissonance and #2) the voicing is very open and spread out and pretty which sort of masks the sharp 5th but i guess i heard it very clearly despite that #the overture has the mario cadence in it so it goes from I to bVII to bVI which is that B chord it lands on #which sounds relatively upbeat but the addition of the sharp 5th and the major 7th add TWO semitone relations in the same chord #and like its spread out but. still definitely there.#i do love it a lot #ive already looked into this chord on several occasions through the years but i think this is the most accurate ive gotten #not that its like IMPOSSIBLE CHORD TO CRACK OMG OMG whatsoever but the extremely wide voicing has always thrown me off skjghskh #i havent looked at it in a few yrs now so i guess the sharp 5th didnt really occur to me back then #musical woes #um. yeah

I still cannot believe so many people took that LUTI uquiz when it was just the culmination of one joke I had (the lyric one), plus the opportunity to shove King of Prism into the face of tons of people who do not care. People are still linking it, it's just me asking what King of Prism character is best to people who don't watch anime, and people are still linking it.

Palestinians showed us and told us how the IOF terrorists were killing them in “humanitarian corridors” how they were telling them “take this road it’s safe” and then killing them. You didn’t say anything now they are killing your volunteers on humanitarian pre-approved safe roads. Palestinians showed us and told us how the IOF terrorists never strike only once. They strike a first time then when people are trying to help and get the wounded out they strike a second sometimes a third time to kill the wounded and the people who came to help. Lastly Palestinians but also people of color in general have been telling you that what you allow Israel to do without any consequences will eventually be done to you and people will justify it. Well guess what? It started. And while it’s nice that you are finally calling out Israel none of us will forget or forgive the fact that 40000 Palestinian lives didn’t make you feel anything but 6 white lives did. When 40000 people were killed by Israel the same way as your volunteers you didn’t believe that it happened that way you called Palestinians collateral damages but now suddenly you care? Your support to white supremacy to Israeli supremacy and to colonialism is what killed those 7 volunteers including the 6 white volunteers. You’re just as guilty as the IOF terrorists.

maybe im just stupid and not thinking hard enough about it but i don't really understand why people are up in arms about how ai-generated art is going to make it easier to spread misinformation when it's already effortless to spread misinformation. you don't even need to be skilled at image manipulation or anything you can post a pic of whatever the fuck and claim it's something else and get enough traction for it to reach masses of people who dont bother fact checking shit. lying online is easy and people have been doing it for as long as the internet has been around we are aware of this yeah

#the only thing i can think of is video/audio deepfakes but i can't imagine those are impossible to refute Who Knows not me clearly #and it's not like real video/audio can't be clipped and taken out of context #this is reminding me the other day i saw mention of TikTok Teens thinking there was real beef between two celebrities because of a deepfake #and it reminded me of this gifset i saw on here in the early 2010s of two celebs captioned like they were insulting each other in separate #interviews idk if it was purposefully misleading as a joke or an rp or what but people thought it was real lol #i guess my thought is basically the tools used to bullshit matter less than the ease with which people accept the bullshit #i do realize what a complete fucking douche i sound like to be clear
