this is such a great question! ok, let's think about it. so i decided to pair them up (one ith + one (or two) hamilton character(s) with similar vibes i may also drop some quotes to prove my point) and here's how i see it:

usnavi/alexander (it's all about the legacy they left with me, it's destiny/what is a legacy? it's planting seeds in a garden you never get to see + both the caribbean immigrants + both orphans + both can't shut up sometimes i could write a whole essay about it actually): 90s (i don't have any explanation for this one, i just want to see it cause it's a vibe)

vanessa/angelica (if i'm in the mood, it will not be with some dude who is whistling cause he has nothing to say/i'm looking for a mind at work + so this is what it feels like to match wits with someone at your level you see what i did here, right?): DARK ACADEMIA (oh i love this one, i could even make them a moodboard lol)

graffiti pete/burr (listen, i don't even have any quotes here, it's just the fact that usnavi hates graffiti pete and hammy and burr are enemies lol you see what i did here): GOTH (just because this is so fucking funny in my head lol imagine aaron burr as goth)

Are there any other Fandoms, that you write or read fics from?

i'm pretty creative monogamous BUT i have been seriously thinking about writing one (mayyybe two) little sukeve one shots. nothing like what i do with calzona but like... a little treat ykwim. couple thousand words tops

i did also write (but never published) a bunch of half-done mirandy fics based on taylor swift's evermore and obviously all of my cariela (dani x carla from ith) fics are public on my ao3 :)

as for what i read i have been so deeply in the locked tomb / the wheel of time fics lately, obvs some light eastenders reading but i haven't found any writers i like in their fandom, and perennially mirandy + swanqueen. its safe to assume that if youve read a mirandy/sq fic, i have also read that fic

im thinking vanessa could be pete’s tori, caring yet straightforward. there could be an added plot of her and usnavi’s relationship. benny as tao (pete&benny friendship ftw), though not as harsh towards sonny. and nina as elle (trans nina hell yeah).

dani could be darcy and carla as tara. idr if you ship them, but either way, supportive lesbians.

Desperate for an In The Heights roleplay. I know, I know! I'm searching specifically for Daniela and Carla! I adore these two. I'm familiar with the musical and have seen the movie more than once already, and would love to go for the movie vibes for a roleplay. I am looking for partner to play Dani to my Carla.

I'm experienced and lit so multi-para to novella. I enjoy writing a lot and getting a lot in return but wouldn't ask for purple prose or unnecessary fillers. I'm angst friendly, smut friendly and don't have any triggers but would always respect yours! I love writing side characters and would adore someone who feels the same, especially when the whole point of ITH is how beautiful this community is. l'm OOC friendly and love rambling for hours about our characters and the plot. I'm also a pretty regular writing partner (once or multiple times a day) so ideally would like the same there too!

I have a lot of ideas for these two but I think it could be very fun to just go for the slow burn goodness. Perhaps from Daniela hiring Carla? Normally ditziness can annoy her, but here's this beautiful, bubbly girl and Dani decides the salon needs her. Cue them getting to know each other. Dancing at the club, spending late nights on Dani's balcony drinking wine. Maybe eventually starting a FwB type relationship because Daniela is terrified of getting hurt again - perhaps she had an abusive ex or was cheated on?

*Hermosillo, Sonora; 16 de noviembre, 2022.-* "El kilowatt generado con el sol es el más barato en la historia de la humanidad y en nuestro municipio tenemos un potencial enorme para convertirlo en ahorro y en una mejor calidad de vida", expresó el Presidente Municipal Antonio Astiazarán Gutiérrez al inaugurar el Foro Mundial de Energía Solar ante participantes de varios países y regiones de México.

 

"Tenemos un sólo planeta y estamos llamados a conservar y cuidar nuestra casa común, lo cual implica muchos esfuerzos y responsabilidades", subrayó Toño Astiazarán en compañía del cónsul de Estados Unidos en Hermosillo, Ken Roy; el presidente del Clúster de Energía Sonora, Luis Carlos Peralta; el representante personal del gobernador Alfonso Durazo y director de la Comisión de Energía, Rafael Cabanillas López; y ponentes como Antonio Villaraigosa, exalcalde de Los Ángeles, California y asesor de ese estado en materia de infraestructura.

 

Ese reto, dijo Toño Astiazarán, no se puede llevar a cabo si no hay un intercambio de experiencias, conocimientos y de compartir casos de éxito.

 

Durante el encuentro, en el que lo acompañó su esposa Patricia Ruibal Zaragoza, el Presidente Municipal de Hermosillo dijo que la energía está en los alimentos, en el agua y en cada una de las etapas de nuestras vidas, por eso la celebración de este foro alcanza un mensaje muy importante, porque la Agencia Internacional de Energía ha señalado que de todas las alternativas de generación de energía presentes y pasadas, el kilowatt generado con el sol es el más barato en la historia de la humanidad.

 

Agradeció a quienes se sumaron a la iniciativa, sobre todo el Clúster de Energía Sonora por su destacada participación en el foro, a patrocinadores, estudiantes, personal de la academia, directores de instituciones, a todas y todos por soñar y creer que sí es posible.

 

Antonio Villaraigosa, exalcalde de Los Ángeles, California, resaltó en su mensaje que estamos en una batalla contra los cambios climáticos y que el Presidente de Hermosillo aprovecha y usa como un recurso la oportunidad del clima árido.

 

Ken Roy, cónsul de Estados Unidos en Hermosillo, manifestó que los esfuerzos a nivel nacional son claves para evitar una potencial catástrofe, que es aún más importante trabajar a escala local, por eso resaltó la relevancia de este evento que pone a Hermosillo como líder en el ámbito de eficiencia energética.

 

Luis Carlos Peralta, presidente del Clúster de Energía Sonora, explicó que agrupan 42 empresas, ocho universidades, dependencias gubernamentales y a la sociedad civil organizada, que están de manteles largos por el foro, que es un paso para convertir a Hermosillo de ciudad del sol a Ciudad Solar.

 

Estuvieron presentes, Carla Neudert Córdova, directora de la Agencia Municipal de Energía y Cambio Climático; José Antonio Hoyo Montaño, rector del Instituto Tecnológico de Hermosillo (ITH); Gertie Agraz Boeneker, directora de la Agencia Municipal de Desarrollo Económico (AMDE); la diputada local Brenda Córdova Búzani y Armando Barajas, comisionado ejecutivo de la Comisión de Ecología y Desarrollo Sustentable del Estado de Sonora (CEDES).

Antonio Astiazarán expuso sobre las acciones del gobierno que encabeza en eficiencia energética, como la modernización del alumbrado público al 100 por ciento con tecnología LED y algunos casos lámparas solares.

 

Habló de proyectos que se impulsan a través de la Agencia Municipal de Cambio Climático, como la introducción de paneles solares en canchas deportivas, el plan para que toda la electricidad del alumbrado público de la ciudad sea solar mediante el Parque Solar Munisol.

 

También de los programas Impulso Solar con un fondo para que comercios pequeños puedan reducir su consumo de energía; Peso Solar, con el 50 por ciento del costo a fondo perdido a instituciones de beneficencia social; Tumbawatts para eficiencia energética en viviendas; así como la adquisición de 220 patrullas eléctricas, la construcción de la electrolinera más grande de Latinoamérica y los Reciclacentros.

I got a head canon that the way Carla and Daniela meet is as follows

Carla moves to the heights from queens to look for work after getting out of beauty school

Her first night there she decides to go out and explore the clubs in her new neighborhood

She hooks up with a women but leaves before the other woman wakes up

Next day she interviews at a barber shop but the owner tells her she’s probably better suited for this place called Daniela’s down the street

He gives her the address and she ended up in front of the same building she’d just come from

She goes in and hears “Así que la princesa ha regresado. Julio told me he’d sent someone my way. Probably safe to assume you know your way around a pair of scissors.”

It’s the woman she hooked up with the night before.

The woman is Daniela. (Daniela’s shop is below her apartment.)

Carla just says “I have several certificates that say I’m highly capable with more tools than scissors.”
