This is pretty different from the stuff I usually make, but I feel when it come's to art for arts sake, this is one of my strongest pieces to date. It was so nice to go back to my roots of fine art and make this, and I almost gave up and quit this project. I'm so happy I didn't, because this is one of my favourite things I've ever illustrated.

#my oc #rune #mori #i have a project due tomorrow and its finally scared me back into drawing #even though i should be working on this project but im SO SO SO TIRED #i went on an outing like 2 weeks ago the same week that i walked everywhere cause i was desperately #trying to get my taxes done but thats a different story but the point is i was walking a lot and i went on an outing where i stood all day #and then i had to go to class the very next day thinking i was fine but i wasnt. #and that same day after i walked across the city because i absolutely had to pick a thing up. i think the same week i met up with my mom #a couple of times but i was walking the whole way there. my point is that for 2 weeks straight i have been rigorously walking everywhere #and on my feet all the time with little breaks in between and my feet fucking hurt man #i need this semester to be OVER i need to sleep for a MONTH #but i cant because i have to scrape together SOME of this project and finals are next week #this class this project is for fucking sucks. all semester ive been teetering the line between pass and fail #and its not even my fucking fault. im so burnt out so i dont want to do this project. but i might fail if i dont #i need to at least demo it but i have like. one thing done and i dunno what to tell my TA about i #how do i tell my TA and prof that everything is too much for me so i absolutely could work on this project #my laptop is broken so im afraid to use it. the server kept going down last month so i was afraid to use that #so many stupid little things keep piling up and i'd sound really weird trying to explain why i cant do my work #because my desk is on the floor and it makes me really sad so no i cant do my hw. my fave candy has red40 in it so i had to stop eating it #but now i cant do my work because i was using it to help me focus on my hw. not me popping back on here with a post after months of semi-inactivity (uni is being a bitch) just to reiterate how much i love writing the pahkitew island cast.

aside from sammy and amy (obviously), literally everyone else can be shipped with one another and it'd make sense to some degree, like it takes skill to create a group of people so inherently shippable (platonically and/or romantically) and ofc the writers didn't know it they just shoved a bunch of random ppl together and dusted their hands off on it but fr tho 😭

How does one go about getting tested for MCAS...

#still trying to see a geneticist about EDS #and now because of long covid conversations talking about MCAS im realizing that may be a relevant problem to me as well #from BEFORE I got COVID #ive had idiopathic anaphylaxis episodes in the past but its been a few years since i had one #so idk if that rules that out #but i do have seemingly ever-changing food allergies/reactions too #like i went a whole year without eating red meat because everytime i ate it i had food poisoning symptoms after for a day or so #and have had constant gastro problems with seemingly random triggers since i was a teenager #also year round allergies #to what? idk #but i live my life sniffling with my ears and throat and skin itching all the time #and heat intolerance #and being seemingly allergic to my own sweat #idk it feels like im looking for reasons for it to be that because imposter syndrome but also with the pots dx #and then my rheum sending me for genetic testing for EDS cuz my labs show i have an autoimmune disease but no positive for anything specific #has me side eyeing in the direction of MCAS because i know how those issues all love to show up in a three for one bundle #ig ill wait and see how the genetic testing goes #cuz idk where to even begin for possible MCAS #and now having long covid too i feel like anything possibly related to that will get shrugged off #because doctors HATE long covid and things that are possibly related to long covid
