Jill’s character is so underrated. She grew up in a time where she’s hated and dehumanized. Unlike Allison, she didn’t have superpowers to protect herself. Her parents cared more about the scholarship than their own daughter. They left her for dead. She could literally be murdered and nobody would bother to look for her or bring her justice. I think Jill knew Klaus was dismissive of her since she didn’t believe Klaus paid much attention to her even after the threesome. But instead of holding a grudge she still engage him with a smile. She knows the world can be unfair yet she still choose to see the light in the darkness.

Jill is stronger than people realize. She faced the worse thing anyone would face, being abandoned by your family. Dave and Sissy had more privilege than her but were too afraid to live their life since they were too afraid of what their family would think of them. Even Lila had a similar fear with the Handler and even though she’s gone she’s still healing from the wound. Jill’s parents left her for dead yet she survived and found a community who love her for who she is. She traveled the world and could express herself freely. Despite the BS she faced she’s still sweet and hopeful. The Hargreeves can learn a lot from her

Clean Cooking Alliance Chief of Staff and External Affairs Jillene Connors Belopolsky spoke with the Nature+ Newsroom on November 15 at COP27 in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, about the dangers of cooking with solid fuels. She said that 2.4 billion people rely on polluting solid fuels to cook, which leads to a myriad of health complications and contributes to 3.2 million premature deaths every year.

The Clean Cooking Alliance has advised more developing countries to put clean cooking in their climate-action plans and says investors and corporations should consider how the transition to cleaner cooking can make their investments less risky. "You can't tell people they can't use the natural resources around them to feed their families without providing an affordable alternative," Belopolsky said. "If we invest billions of dollars to protect or restore forests or implement regenerative agricultural practices, but communities that live around those projects don't have access to clean cooking and are collecting wood, that's counterproductive and a risk to that investment."

Why do you think Ben liked Jill so much? What made her stand out from the other cult members and got him to focus on something other than his family?

As much as I love Ben and Jill, the boring answer is that plot called for a stronger source of conflict and a way to show that ghosts could possess Klaus, so they gave Ben a crush. It also served as a parallel between Klaus and Dave, and to highlight how neither Ben nor Klaus are very good at listening to each other. Klaus dismisses the importance of Jill to Ben and, likewise, Ben dismisses the importance of Dave to Klaus. Buuut that’s a subject for another post...

The more character-driven answer is that I think Ben simply thought she was beautiful (”Almond-shaped eyes you get lost in...” ♥) and they had a lot in common. 

The first shot we see of Jill is of her reading on the bus in Baja, Mexico while Ben, also holding a book, makes lovesick puppydog eyes at her. She had an Albright scholarship to a highly renowned private college in New York, which shows just how smart and dedicated as a person she is. Ben also mentions that she’s good with people, a skilled gardener, and is clearly charmed that she sings to her turnips. 

Not saying that Klaus or any other members of the cult aren’t nice, compassionate, or smart, but I think Jill stands out in that she is noticeably more down to earth, composed, and academically-focused than they are. She has a soothing presence and the kind of optimistic, bubbly personality that I think would be attractive to someone like Ben who I think struggles to see the world in positives. Too, I believe Ben craves stability, something that is few and far between in the Hargreeves’ dysfunctional family, and Jill comes across as someone very steady and put together by comparison.

It’s hard to say whether or not Jill would have felt the same about Ben or if she would have only had eyes for Klaus, but in another universe where her and Ben did work out, I think they could have been really good for each other. They have enough in common, both could be comfortable being silly together or even just sitting in silence, and I very strongly believe that Jill could have helped Ben become more optimistic. He needs someone like her to help bring him out of his shell, improve his confidence, and remind him that the world isn’t such a terrible place.

No, they have not. Only the Duggars and Bateses have reached #19. I'm unaware of any quiverfull (QF) family that has 20+ Children. The only family I'm aware of that has that many children is the Radfords, in Britain, but they aren't QF. They have 21 [Living] Children.
