_______________
“Holy shit.” you say as you exhale a puff of smoke. Coughing, you hand the bowl to Josh. He’s facing you on the couch, laughing as you try to catch your breath.
“Is this your first time?” He asked as he took the bowl from your outstretched hand. His words dripping with sarcasm.
“Ha Ha.” you reply dryly. You roll your eyes and lean back into the couch. You stare at Josh as he holds the bowl up to his lips. He flicks the lighter, and the shadow it casts on his face is mesmerizing. You feel a slight tingle between your thighs.
Josh placed the bowl on the table and leaned back. Letting a stream of smoke escape from his lips. He turned to you with a smirk. You bite your lip as you imagine all the things he could do with that mouth. He leaned closer to you. You could smell the earthy scent radiating off of him. He put his head on your shoulder.
“What is it momma?”
Your heart nearly leaped out of your chest. You loved that pet name.
“I was just admiring how sexy you look.”
He let out a soft laugh as his hand slowly slid to the top of your thigh. The tingle you felt between your legs was getting stronger.
“Me?” he said in a soft, raspy voice. He moved his lips to your ear and whispered “Have you seen yourself momma? You’re radiant.”
You felt a shiver run down your spine. You closed your eyes as he began to leave a trail of soft, feathery kisses down the side of your neck. The hand that was on your thigh, was slowly making its way up your stomach. He let out a quiet moan as his hand found your chest. He started to gently massage one breast, then the other through your shirt.
“Lets move this to the bedroom. I need to get these clothes off of you.” He stood up, and you focused on the outline of his semi-hard cock straining against his khaki shorts. He noticed you staring and gave you a wink. “See what you do to me, woman?”
You grabbed his hand, and he lifted you off of the couch. He led you down the hallway to the bedroom. He sat on the edge of the bed, pulling you between his legs. He lifted your shirt over your head and started trailing kisses down your stomach.
“You’re so soft and smooth baby.” He looked up at you with his beautiful brown eyes and you melted. He always knew what to do and say to make you weak in the knees. You intertwined your fingers into his soft curly hair and gave a soft tug.
You couldn’t believe this beautiful man was yours. The rock god, Josh Kiszka, was the one who wanted you. The man thousands of women screamed for. He was yours. And he was putty in your hands. As were you in his. You let out a sigh as you tilted your head back, just basking in the thought. He started to slide your shorts down your legs. He tapped your calf softly, signaling you to step out of them.
He stood up and spun you around, laying you softly on the bed. You watched as he removed his white t-shirt and shorts. His gold “J” necklace swinging gently around his neck. He crawled his way up to you and your lips connected. He swept his tongue over your bottom lip then biting it. You wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him closer to you. The feeling of his bare chest against yours made you moan against his lips.
You could feel him smile against your mouth. He lifted his head and stared down at you with sheepish eyes. “You’re so beautiful momma.” He moved his hand up to your breasts, pinching and twisting your nipple softly. Your back arched off the bed slightly as you melted into his touch. He leaned down and took your nipple into his warm, hungry mouth. You bit your lip as you watched him. His eyes locked on yours as his tongue teased your swollen peak of flesh.
“Oh Josh. Your mouth feels so good.”
He removed his mouth with a pop and smiled. “Would you like to feel my mouth somewhere else?”
You felt your heart skip a beat. You could only nod, afraid you would only squeak if you had to talk. He slid his hand down your chest, stomach, and stopped on the elastic band of your panties. He leaned down and crashed his mouth into yours, sliding his tongue through your parted lips. You sucked on it gently, making him let out a whimpered moan. He moved his lips from yours as he started his decent. You watched him intensely as he hooked his pointer fingers onto either side of your panties and slowly pulled them down.
When he removed them, he held them in his hand and with his eyes locked on yours, he brought them up to his face and inhaled deeply. His eyes rolled back as he breathed you in. You felt your breath hitch as you watched him. It was possibly one of the hottest things he had ever done.
He looked back down at you and smiled. “You smell so fucking sexy momma.” He tossed your panties over his shoulder and laid on his stomach in-between your legs. You could feel his warm breath wash over your wet heat. He looked up at you as he stuck out his tongue, slowly running it over your clit. You watched him as you let out soft moans. “Josh...please.” you whispered.
“What is it baby? Tell me what you want sugar.”
You raised your hips up to his mouth. “Please Josh. I want your mouth on me. I want you to make me cum on your tongue.”
A big smile spread over his face. “That’s my slutty girl.” He dove his tongue into your folds. He flicked his tongue over your wet folds, making you cry out.“Fuck Josh!” you moaned as you leaned your head farther back into the pillow. Your back arched and your fingers reached hungerly for his hair. He moaned against your throbbing heat as you held on to his hair. He wrapped his lips around your clit, and sucked. You bucked your hips up as you felt your orgasm build in your stomach. “J-Josh....baby...i’m gonna cum.”
He took that as a cue to step it up. He slid his tongue down to your entrance, and stuck it in. He used his thumb to rub circles on your clit. You almost instantly let go. You looked down at him, and when his eyes met yours you came undone.
You screamed his name and curses as he gently licked your throbbing, swollen clit, slowly bringing you back down to him. When you slightly recovered, you pulled him up to you, kissing his wet mouth. You loved to taste the mixture of his lips, and your juices. He pulled back and looked down at you with soft eyes.
“Do you want me to fuck your pretty pussy baby? I want you to cum on my cock.”
You nodded as you leaned up to kiss him. He reached his hand between your legs, searching for your wet aching cunt. He played with your clit, rolling it in his fingers, flicking it until you were shaking beneath him. "Get on your knees. Now."
He moved off of you to stand on the side of the bed. You sat up and crawled over to him. You kissed him hard, bighting his bottom lip. He embraced you as your lips explored one another. As he pulled back, he did a twirl motion with his finger. You smirked as you turned around.
“Ass up momma”
You did as you were told. He gave you a smack on your ass. “Damn you have such a beautiful ass.” You laid your head on the mattress as he lined up with your entrance. He rubbed the head of his cock on your clit, before he slowly started to fill you up.
You moaned into the sheets, squirming a little, wanting him to go in deeper. He reached the hilt and moaned as his entire cock was buried inside of you. “Fuck baby. You’re so warm and wet for me. Did my pussy miss me?”
You moaned your response. He started to fuck you slowly, digging his fingers into your sides. You lifted your head and looked back at him. “Sing to me Josh.” He was quiet for a moment, only groans and moans as he slowly slid his cock in and out of you.
“Are we prisoners or renegades? Well, i’ve done my time, whoa-oh”
You let a smile creep over your lips. He reached up and grabbed a handful of your hair, pulling your head back towards him. He put his other hand around your neck.
“Behold visions of burning skies. Alas Babylon, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.” he sang into your ear with the rasp of sex in his voice. You closed your eyes as he pounded deep into you.
“Are we prisoners or renegades?” He squeezed your neck harder. “Oh fuck baby, I'm close.” He let out a few moans as he leaned his head back.
“Well i’ve done my time, whoa-oh.” He sang breathlessly into the warm air surrounding you both. You moaned with him. His cock slamming into your pussy, and his beautiful voice was bringing you so close to the edge. “Yes baby. keep singing to me.”
He pulled you up by your hair so your back was flush with his chest. His hand still gripping your neck, he leaned close to your ear. “Behold visions of burning skies..........Alas.....Babylon, whoa, whoa.....fuck.” He whimpered. He moaned though his teeth as he filled you up with his warm cum. The feeling of him releasing inside of you was enough to send you over the edge. You fell back into him as you came on his cock. He held you until you stopped shaking, then laid you both back on the bed.
You rolled over to face him and let out a little giggle. He smiled at you with tired eyes. “What is it baby? What’s so funny?”
You let out a sigh. “I just love having my own songbird.”
He moved closer to you and kissed the tip of your nose. “Lucky you.” he winked and tapped your thigh gently. “I’ll go get the bath started. How about you order some food." You nodded and snuggled into him for a minute. He was right. You felt very lucky to be loved by him.

.
You fiddled with the cuffs of your sleeves as you waited on the sidewalk in front of the booming home. The yard was large enough that the loud music and intense chatter emanating from the house was slightly drowned out by the warm noises of summer.
To the right of you, your friend stood, eager to continue forth into pounding music and forthcoming bad decisions.
She looked down at you, stopping her once ambitious stride and huffing out a sweet yet defeated breath.
“Quit messing with those, you look great. It's going to be fun!”
You nodded and offered an ingenuine reassuring smile. She noticed and playfully rolled her eyes at you.
“I shouldn’t have worn long sleeves, I’m going to get so hot,” you blurted out, whipping your arms forward and showing off the billowy white top you had on.
She shot you a teasing glare as you continued to stare up at her, arms and sleeves shaking in annoyance.
“Then take it off, just wear the vest,” she smirked at you.
You rolled your eyes, “I would rather everyone’s first impressions of me not be my tits.”
She only laughed, you along with her, and continued up the sidewalk to the home.
The closer you got the louder everything was and the more intense the smell of booze and weed.
“I wasn’t kidding about the vest thing, people here would dig it,” your friend spoke again, this time her tone less teasing and more matter-of-fact.
“I think I’m okay, thank you though.”
She shrugged and continued on, waving quick hellos to people scattered farther from the house on the grass and by the bonfire.
You weren’t not excited for the party, in fact, you were dying to get a drink into you, or two or three.
You were simply nervous to be meeting a house full of new people in a state on the opposite side of the country from where all your friends and family were.
After months of organizing and planning, Casey had finally managed to drag you across the country and to her hometown in Michigan, known for its…lakes and snow?
The party was filled with her old friends and acquaintances, drunk and excited to reconnect with the one person you knew.
Daunting enough, but that was not the cause of your fretting. The true members reliable for your worries were none other than the party’s hosts- famous rockstars.
Casey and the Kiszka’s were neighbors in her younger years before she moved only a few minutes away. She knew the boys, but it was mostly their parents that continued the connection between the two families.
Still, she always managed an invitation to their now few, but profound parties following their return from tour or extended time away.
“They aren’t famous in the way that other people are famous, you know? It’s really nothing to worry about!”
Casey had stressed upon your initial panic at the announcement that the next evening you would be attending their party.
Unfortunately her efforts to subdue any nervousness were useless.
It seemed as though you just weren’t experienced enough to make the acute distinction between famous-famous people and famous-but not really famous people.
All you did know was that you were feeling a strong inclination to turn around and never enter the Kiszka home. Though, you were beginning to understand a bit more of what Casey had meant about them as you couldn’t quite imagine most celebrities throwing ragers at their parent’s home.
You finally entered the home after a few short conversations with old friends of Casey’s. It was hot and sticky and depending on how much you drank that night, your shirt may have been coming off.
Every room was filled with people, some were dancing, some were talking-yelling- and others were testing the limits of their personal alcohol consumption.
“Casey!” A voice sounded out behind the two of you almost immediately, mixing with the booming base of music seeping from the various speakers around the home.
You turned to face a sweet, and very intoxicated looking, long haired man. His cheeks were rosy and his face was covered in a sheen of sweat as well as his torso that was exposed between the opening of a button down shirt.
“Jake, hi!” Casey beamed out and the two embraced in a hug, Jake stumbling back and finding his footing after a short moment.
They separated and Jake quickly inquired about Casey’s parents and vice versa.
You stood, anxiously scanning the room for alcohol of any sort in reaching distance.
“This is my friend and roommate, y/n.”
Casey pushed you forward slightly with a small nudge to your back and you were snapped out of your alcohol motivated, vulture-like focus.
You gave a small smile, finding it hard to keep your eyes focused on his pretty face, yet somehow managing.
“Nice to meet you, thanks for letting me come along,” You let out.
Jake only waved a hand and sounded out a “pshhh”.
“Don’t thank me, everyone’s welcome here at the Kiszka abode.”
He stumbled back once again, this time finding his balance on the person behind him, patting their back once he straightened himself back up.
“Well I’m going to try to find the others, you’re going to bring your guitar down to the fire later, right?”
Casey pointed a finger at him as she dragged you further into the belly of the beast.
Jake yelled an enthusiastic “Maybe I will, maybe I won’t” after the two of you.
“God I need a drink,” you exhaled a long breath you hadn’t noticed you were holding in.
Casey laughed.
“Yeah me too. Not so scary after all, right?” she nudged your shoulder and you relented, letting go a relieved smile.
“No, but really, really hot.”
Casey barked out a laugh and you smiled with her, giddy as you spotted the kitchen, counters equipped with rows of liquor and beer.
Just before you reached your destination, though, Casey interrupted your course, pulling you into a sharp right turn only moments from stepping into the kitchen.
“Sam! Danny!”
Casey yelled out again, sounding slightly more excited than her previous meeting with Jake.
Casey had told you that she had been much closer with the two, being only a year younger than them.
The two turned from the corner they were tucked into, and the conversation they were previously entwined with, to the two of you, smiles washing over their inquiring faces.
“Hey Case,” Sam let out, hand lazily grasping at a red solo cup.
“What’s up Casey,” Danny offered a small wave.
“What are you two doing tucked away over here?”
Casey questioned and Danny and Sam exchanged knowing glances.
“Trying to stay away from Jake, he becomes a menace the second you pour a few shots into him,” Sam feigned annoyance and Danny chuckled, though you assumed there was some truth to it.
“Yeah, we just saw him, he’s very-” Casey pondered, “-happy!”
The two chuckled to themselves.
“Yeah, that’s one take on it. He’s trashed, and it hasn’t even been 2 hours,” Sam spoke through varying scoffs.
“Are you going to introduce us to your friend?”
Danny voiced out and you looked over to him, his face attentive on your own.
Casey wrapped an arm around your shoulder, “This is y/n, my very best friend and the girl I share an apartment with!”
You looked up to her, wondering if she had swiped a shot of something without you noticing. You let out a laugh either way, enjoying her antics and vicariously feeling slightly more at ease.
“Hey, nice to meet you guys,” you spoke, not able to think of anything else to say.
“Very nice to meet you too,” Danny smiled while Sam nodded along in agreement.
Your stomach swirled with warmth and you were sure your cheeks became dusted with rosiness, was he actually flirting with you?
Despite your giddiness, you could not shake the feeling that all of this would be even more enjoyable if you were on the same intoxication level as everyone there.
The three continued talking and you drummed your fingers against your bare legs.
You stopped midway through as you irrationally feared that Danny would ask you about it, then having to admit that you were not musically inclined but in fact, very nervous.
Instead you played with the fraying hem of your skirt, pulling the piece of clothing that hugged tightly over your body down, farther over the tops of your thighs.
You returned your focus to whatever the three were discussing, but instead you were met with Danny’s stare, right where you were adjusting your skirt.
He flicked his eyes up to yours, making momentary eye contact with you before looking away, back to Sam and Casey’s conversation.
He wanted you to know that he knew you had caught him and you could tell for the first time that he was definitely not sober.
You desperately wanted to say something, flirt with him, maybe touch his arm and tell him that you had wanted to wear your vest the same way as he was, with nothing underneath it, and have him thinking about you topless, but you couldn’t get a word out.
God, you needed a fucking drink.
You tugged on the hem of Casey’s shirt when her and Sam’s conversation began to dull down. She looked over to you, giving you a knowing look, and nodded.
“Okay guys, we’re going to get something to drink, we’ll see you later,” Casey spoke as she took your arm in hers and began to escort you away.
Both the men said their goodbyes and went back to whatever topic they were discussing the minutes before you and Casey’s arrival.
Danny’s eyes lingered on your retreating self slightly longer than what would be deemed as normal.
“Danny seemed to like you,” Casey wiggled her eyebrows at you.
You scoffed, but you could feel your face heat up at the mention.
“Yeah, maybe if I wasn’t the only sober one here I would have been brave enough to flirt with him,” you chuckled as Casey laughed alongside you.
“You aren’t the only sober one, I am too.”
You hummed out in acknowledgment, hoping you would have another opportunity to flirt with the gorgeous man you had left behind.
The two of you had finally made it to the kitchen, the only place in the home that wasn’t packed full of people.
Most sat atop the counters, engaged in casual conversations, or came and went after pouring themselves a drink.
“Josh, I’ve been looking for you!” Casey jogged up and tapped the curly haired man on the shoulder.
He craned his head over to her and away from whatever drink he was creating. His lips hung open in a curious “o” which quickly stretched into a large, and perfect, grin before pulling Casey into a zealous hug.
“Heyyy!”
He sounded out following the hug's release, drawing out the last sound of the word.
Casey hadn’t remembered to introduce you, but you didn’t mind as you were content with simply following the curves of his profile and the way his lips moved when he talked.
She had told you that Jake and Josh were twins, and while they did look strikingly similar, you could still feel a giddy warmth blooming under your cheeks as you watched him.
His smile had yet to fall and for this, you were thankful.
You couldn’t seem to look away from his beaming grin, the slight gap between his front two teeth making your heart flutter.
Your eyes continued to seemingly move on their own, examine every aspect of his being.
He wore a long sleeve black button down that was fashioned similarly to Jake’s, though while his hung completely open, Josh still held on to a few buttons at the bottom of the shirt.
The scandalous styling of the shirt exposed the tan skin of his chest and the slight curves of his toned muscle.
Your eyes unwillingly moved down further focusing in on how his jeans hung dangerously low on his hips despite the brown leather belt fastened around them.
“And this is y/n, my lovely friend whom I live with.”
Casey once again snapped you out of your daze and you put on a smile, too nervous to blurt anything out.
“Well hello y/n, I’m excited to welcome you into my home!”
Josh theatrically waved his arms in the air, making one sweeping motion to the room and having his hand fall casually around your shoulder.
You stiffened slightly under his touch despite your previous enamorment.
You had never been used to touchy people, much less touchy strangers that happened to be beautiful rock stars.
Casey caught your eye, knowing all too well your odd discomfort with casual physical touch, and cringed out an awkward smile that seemed to say ‘sorry’.
Josh didn’t seem to notice, as he couldn’t quite grasp the fact that some people didn’t communicate through touch, and you simply nodded an ‘it’s okay’ back to Casey.
“Let’s take some shots, you both seem far too sober.”
He squeezed at your arm before releasing you and moving on to gather glasses.
You felt your body relax at the mention as well as the loss of contact.
Though, you knew that later in the night, you would be chasing the odd mix of excitement and anxiety boiling in the pits of your stomach when he pulled you into his side.
You moved to follow Josh over to the counter where discarded slices of lime and lemon sat alongside large bottles of half drinken liquor.
“We’ll start off with tequila,” Josh proclaimed, lifting the bottle and gathering up shot glasses left around the kitchen.
Your face fell into a slight grimace and Casey laughed as Josh gave the two of you a questioning look.
“Y/n and tequila aren’t on the best of terms,” Casey revealed in between chuckles.
“Too many bad decisions for one person have been made with my various run ins with tequila…also, it tastes bad.”
You went on passionately while remembering that fateful night months ago where you had to be escorted home by both Casey and a police officer.
You hated tequila.
Josh listened to you intently, an amused smile pulling at the corners of his mouth.
“Well, as a guest of the Kiszka home, one tequila shot is required,”
Josh’s voice boomed loudly, his words coming out slightly slurred and you couldn’t help but glance your eyes down to his lips, wet with tongue swept saliva.
He pushed the shot glasses forward with no room for complaints.
You sighed defeatedly, but reluctantly grabbed the glass, excited to have something in your system. Out of the corner of your eye you watched as Josh swiped a tongue across the back of his hand, sprinkling something onto the same spot.
He lifted the glass in the air and you and Casey followed.
“To life!”
Josh yelled, partygoers looking over with short curiosity before going back to their own conversations and happenings.
You all clinked your glasses together, tapping them on the table before gulping down the burning liquid.
Both Josh and Casey bit into limes as you struggled, tears beginning to well up in your eyes as the burning continued down the back of your throat.
You fucking hated tequila.
Before you knew it, a lime was being pushed between your lips.
Your eyes fell on Josh, smiling and wildly laughing down at you.
You opened your mouth, biting down on the sourness with much ardor.
Josh’s hand grasped at your shoulder, his fingers finding their way behind your neck as his thumb rested next to your jawline and under your ear keeping the lime in place with his other hand.
You released your bite and he threw the lime on the counter.
Barely a second later, as your eyes still welled with tears and your face still stuck in a grimace, he raised his hand to your mouth, nudging your head towards it with his hand snaking up the back of your neck.
You licked off the remaining salt that coated the space between his pointer and thumb, cringing from the taste.
You could hear both him and Casey laughing as they looked on to your disgusted face.
You gazed up, eyes still wet with slowly retreating tears, and met Josh’s stare. His eyes narrowed at your own and he swept his tongue over his lips before turning his attention back to the previous situation.
“You got the sequence all wrong- Salt, Tequila, Lime- we’re going to have to do another one,” Josh’s teased and you shook your head violently.
“No way in hell-” you shivered at the thought but were met with a warm and buzzing feeling beginning to make its way through you, “-but I will have one of something other than tequila.”
After three more shots of various liquors-fireball, vodka, bourbon-you felt nice and floaty, and the three of you began loosely yelling about one thing or another.
“Let me make you guys a cocktail for the road,” Josh pointed at you and Casey, turning back to the table of alcohol.
You and Casey nodded, falling into your own conversation as Josh worked his magic.
Her eyes widened as she looked over your shoulder and waved a fervent hand at someone behind the two of you.
“Y/n I’m going to go say hi to some friends over there, do you wanna come?”
She returned her attention to you, cheeks beginning to go red with drunkenness.
“I think I’m going to wait for our drinks, this girl needs a little more fuel in her tank,” you pointed to yourself and her face scrunched up with odd amusement.
“Alright, I’ll be right over there,” she squeezed your shoulder and left, making her way to the group of people on the opposite end of the house.
You sighed, feeling a newfound emptiness with your best friend detached from your side.
You shuffled closer to Josh, leaning on the counter to his side. He looked over to you, an easy grin falling over his lips.
Your face heated up at the acute reminder that his attention was now solely you and you hoped that it had become red enough from the alcohol that he wouldn’t notice.
“What’re you making?”
You questioned, letting your mouth morph into an inquisitive yet slightly disgusted frown as he dipped his finger into each glass and swirled around the pinkish liquid.
“Salty dogs! The best fucking drink ever created” he exclaimed, leaning close into you.
He handed you a glass, searching over your shoulder for Casey.
“She went over there to catch up with some friends,” you explained and he just nodded his head, clinking your glasses together.
You took a sip, cringing from the bitterness and overwhelming taste of salt.
“God, ew, what is in this.”
Josh feigned an offended look, chuckles breaking through his performance.
“I can’t believe how picky you are, who let you into this party?” he laughed again, his eyes wide on you with shock.
You shrugged your shoulders, examining the drink closer with your eyes zeroed in on the sloshing pink liquid.
“I’m not picky, Josh, this is just disgusting,”
You decidedly answered as you peeled your eyes away from your thorough inspection.
His mouth fell into a lazy smile at hearing his name come from your lips. He laughed a breathy laugh, wordless over your dislike for his seemingly very cherished drink.
Nevertheless you continued sipping on it, trying to hide the slight contortion of all your features every time your tongue was met with the bitter liquid and salted rim.
Despite your efforts, though, Josh noticed and a laugh escaped him.
“No, no, no, no, no, you don’t deserve to drink it if you keep making that face,”
He stepped closer to you wrapping his hand around yours as it gripped your glass.
“No I’m going to drink it, it’s actually really good,”
You attempted to lie, pulling your glass away from his grip and he stumbled forward into you.
He tried to snatch it again, your bodies close together as he continued trying to wrestle the glass from you.
You shuffled yourself atop the counter as he followed, making a space for himself between your knees, continuing his stubborn fight for the drink.
You held the drink up higher so he could not reach, a fit of laughter escaping the two of you all the while.
He tried once more, relenting as he let the hand that was previously reaching for the drink fall atop your knee.
He seemingly did not notice the gesture or had at least seen it as casual enough that it needed no attention.
Your eyes, on the other hand, were glued to his hand as it slightly squeezed at the part of your thigh right above your knee.
You tried to remind yourself that it meant nothing, that Casey told you all about how touchy he was just as a precautionary warning.
Still, that feeling from before began bubbling in your stomach and tingling under the skin on your legs.
You glanced up at his face which had seemingly noticed your fascination with his hand placement.
The two of you stared at one another, faces close and warm. You could smell the alcohol on his breath and the slight earthy smell of whatever perfume or oil he was wearing, or maybe that was just how he smelled.
His eyes darted to your lips and you could feel your heart beginning to race with anticipation as you swept your tongue over your bottom lip.
“Josh!”
A loud and slurred voice called out before stumbling into Josh’s back, spilling that evil pink liquid all over your shirt.
Josh turned to a very drunk Jake with a giddy and accomplished grin on his face.
“Hello y/n!” he spoke out waving over Josh’s shoulder, you smiled back, not very bothered, but mostly amused by the situation.
Josh looked down at himself, his own shirt also ruined by the drink, and then at you.
His eyes were wide and he sported an open mouthed, dumbfounded smile.
He attempted to hide his breathless laughs that rang out from Jake, faking annoyance, but he was seemingly not very good at hiding his emotions.
“Ah, Jake, come on, you ruined the lady’s shirt!”
Josh grasped at one of Jake's shoulders, motioning to you, and your now slightly see through white top, with an open arm.
Jake furrowed his eyebrows pretending not to have noticed until Josh pointed it out.
“I’m so sorry y/n! I need to watch where I’m going!”
Jake stumbled up to you and took your hand in between his two. He squeezed at it in his own hands and shook, a theatrically apologetic look on his face as he looked into your eyes.
His face was close enough for you to smell the whiskey on his breath and see the few out of place hairs falling in front of his eyes.
Behind him, you could see Josh’s eyes narrow just the slightest bit and his eyebrows draw down before returning to their previous bewildered state.
“Don’t worry about it, I forgive you,” you placed your remaining hand on his shoulder and gave him a slight shake.
He gave you a smile and leaned into your ear.
“It was meant for Josh, not you, sorry” he whispered.
You grinned and nodded as he leaned away and flashed a mischievous smile before patting Josh on the shoulder and walking away as if nothing had happened.
Josh just watched as he walked away, that dumbfounded look not yet leaving his face.
He looked back at you with his grinning mouth agape.
“Can you believe this guy?”
You shrugged and looked down for the first time at your shirt.
A large pink splotch seeped into the fabric and turned it translucent.
You let out a laugh, Josh following, and pinned the fabric between your pointer and thumb, peeling it away from where it had stuck to your skin.
“I can get you a different shirt, I think I have one almost exactly the same as the one you’re wearing,” Josh offered, a grin still plastered on his lips.
“Don’t patronize me Joshua,” you narrowed your eyes at him but kept on a playful smirk.
His cheeks reddened and he put up his hands in defense.
“I’m not, seriously, I think we have very similar style,”
He got out through chuckles as he stole your still quarter full glass off the counter, swigging it down in one go.
“Make me another drink and then we can raid your closet, deal?” you questioned, “…but please not another salty dog.”
Josh opened his mouth to retaliate and most likely defend his beloved salty dog, but he shut it after some thought and simply nodded.
“I will make you a cocktail that you shall never forget,” Josh announced proudly.
You hopped off the counter and stood, shoulders touching, next to Josh as he accumulated different liquors and mixers.
He shifted against you upon notice and glanced down at you, a small smirk tugging at his lips.
You returned the look with an innocent smile of your own, making your eyes as big and inconspicuous as possible.
“Single or a double?” he asked and you found the professionalism amusing from someone who had just minutes before used his fingers as a stirrer.
“Double.”
He nodded and poured a hefty amount of vodka into the bottom of the glass and topped it off with cranberry juice.
“Josh these aren’t cocktails, you're just mixing vodka with different juices!”
You nudged his side and barked out a laugh.
“Hey, that is a cocktail!” He yelled out defensively.
You laughed and rolled your eyes, grabbing the drink from the counter and taking a large sip of the sweet liquid.
“Thank you,” you relented quietly.
“Huh, what was that!?”
Josh nudged closer to you, bending down slightly so he could put his ear up to you, waiting for you to repeat yourself.
“I said thank you, now take me to this shirt you say you own.”
Josh grinned proudly, offering his arm for you to take.
You looked down at it, pushing your eyebrows up and together as if to say, really?
Josh only nodded as you reluctantly proceeded to take his arm, grinning to yourself and hoping he did not see.
You walked up the stairs to a hallway containing what you assumed were all the Kiszka’s rooms.
As you moved further and further from the party, the loud music was drowned away as well as the chatter and you finally realized how warm your skin was and the way your head spun as you continued forward.
“You okay mama?”
Josh looked down at you as you momentarily stopped walking.
You blushed at the nickname and a warmth bloomed in your stomach.
“Yeah, just maybe should have made that double a single now that I think about it,”
You laughed nervously, silently cursing yourself for getting too drunk to do any of the things you told yourself some liquid courage would help with.
“Come on in here and I’ll get you some water,”
Josh walked you to a door, slipping his arm around your waist, his other hand lightly holding at your upper arm.
You walked into the room, almost immediately refreshed by it. It smelled like him everywhere.
The earthy scent swirled synchronously around you and you couldn’t help but inhale a little longer than normal to catch the sweet smell.
Josh bent down to a power strip and flipped on the lights. Lamps scattering the interior emitted a dull warmth around the room and you found yourself feeling better even without the water.
“There’s a bathroom across the hall if you need it, I’ll be right back,” he offered a soft smile before walking out of the room and closing the door softly, leaving you alone and sitting on his bed.
You stayed for a few minutes, testing the bounciness and softness of his bed, but found that it had gotten old rather quickly.
After a few more minutes of examining the room and all the trinkets, band posters and instruments, you crossed the hall, hoping to sober yourself up more in the bathroom.
You sighed as you flipped on the harsh fluorescent lighting, eyes squinting instinctively at the drastic change of light.
You ran the sink, splashing cold water onto your face, and sometimes swallowing gulps of sink water, for what felt like an hour.
Patting your face dry with a towel you looked up at your reflection, noticing for the first time how uncomfortable and sticky your shirt was and also how close the spill had been to exposing your naked chest.
You grimaced at it, starting to hate the cold, wet, stickiness it was beginning to leave on your skin.
You returned to Josh’s room, thankfully far more sober than you left it.
You waited on his bed again, awkwardly holding your shirt away from your skin.
What the hell was taking him so long?
Taking matters into your own hands, you unbuttoned and discarded the shirt onto the ground, adjusting your vest so it still covered you.
If not for your still slight intoxication you would not have been so bold.
You shifted in front of his closet door, moving your weight from one foot to another as you wondered if it was really okay to look inside or better yet wear one of his shirts.
Taking a leap of faith, you swung open the door and stared at the very few items still in his closet.
You very quickly remembered that he no longer lived there.
Somewhat let down from what you expected to be a wardrobe filled with Elton John-esque outfits, you fingered through the few remaining pieces, searching for a suitable option.
Most were different variations of the same white shirt, short sleeve and linen, long sleeve and button down.
A few statement pieces were mixed in, things that perhaps no longer fit his aesthetic. Such as a fur vest and a few fringe lined vests and jackets.
“Sorry, for the wait, I got held up by Jake-”
Josh burst through the door, two glasses of water in hand.
Your eyes widened as you met his own surprised ones.
You looked down at yourself, thankful that the vest was covering something at the very least. but it still wasn’t much.
He caught himself quickly and darted his gaze away from you.
“Oh, sorry, I didn’t realize-” he began, stopping short and instead keening his interest on some vinyls left out instead of stacked in a pile by the foot of his bed.
“Sorry, I was just looking for something to put under this…I hope you don’t mind, I looked in your closet,”
You wrapped your arms around yourself, trying to maintain some form of modesty, and stepped away from the open closet.
You faced Josh, who was collecting the vinyls around the room and placing them in his messy stacks categorized by god knew what.
Suddenly you felt very sober and very embarrassed.
“No, not at all…”
He stood up and looked at you again with red tinged cheeks.
He gulped, his throat moving up and down with the action, and seemed to ponder something for a moment before taking cautionary steps towards you.
He stopped once in front of you, looking down at the vest resting skimpily over your chest.
He reached out a cautionary hand, taking the hem of the clothing between his fingers, focused intensely on his own hand connecting with the bit of fabric.
“You know, you could just…wear this.”
Your eyes widened and your face heated up, the pit of your stomaching dropping in a warm anticipation.
When you didn’t respond he looked back up to you, his intent brown eyes connecting with your own.
As you could feel even the tips of your ears go red, you moved your eyes from his and choked out a quiet laugh.
“Yeah, Casey told me that too, I guess it’s a sign.”
Josh hummed a noise of agreement and nodded his head, the fingers gripping your vest grazing the skin of your stomach and waist.
“I guess so…”
The words fell from his lips without meaning, just spoken to fill the silence as his eyes moved from where his hand was gripping at the fabric to your lips.
Your breath hitched in the back of your throat.
His other hand moved up, resting itself behind your neck, his thumb tucked behind your ear just as it was when he put the lime into your mouth and had you lick the salt off his hand.
Your stomach fluttered at the thought that your tongue had connected with his skin in such a manner upon just meeting him, you had liked it more than you should have.
“I wanted you in here when I first saw you, you know?”
Your focus was snapped back by the sound of his voice, quiet and gravely.
You laughed a shy nervous laugh again and replied.
“What, in your room?”
Your now very meek voice questioned out, playing dumb just in case you were catching his hints wrong, despite the two of you being tangled up with one another.
“Yeah, in my room,”
Josh grinned a devious grin, tugging softly at the roots of your hair.
You choked down a small whimper, liking to think it was out of pain and not the alternative.
“Why would you want that?” you asked again, the last bits of self restraint leaving you as you waited for whatever delicious response he had for you.
“I think you know why, y/n.”
He leaned closer to the point where your noses grazed and you could smell the alcohol on his breath as he breathed heavy pants against your cheeks.
You finally found your courage and brought your eyes up to look at his.
They narrowed as a devilish smirk grew on his lips, and without another moment, he pressed them against yours.
They were soft and warm and tasted salty in the best way possible.
His fingers curled into a fist around your vest as he pulled you closer to him.
You brought your hands to the sides of his face, losing them in soft brown curls.
He nipped at your bottom lip, each time swiping his sweet tongue against the delicate skin afterwards.
You let out small whimpers, not knowing if he heard them or even really caring.
He released you feverishly, pushing you away but keeping his hands connected to you.
The hand gripping at the vest loosened and instead settled onto your hip. He scanned the entirety of your body, his mouth slightly agape with awe and lust.
He finally traced his eyes back up to your face, your lips pink and swollen and cheeks red. The side of his mouth quirked up.
“You’re so fucking hot…you look so pretty like this,”
He moved a hand to take your cheek into his palm, focused on scanning every aspect of your very flushed face.
He seemed to enjoy seeing what he could do to you.
You stepped forward in a fit of sudden confidence and growing desire, closing the gap once again and looping your fingers through the belt loops at the front of his pants.
You pulled, wanting him closer to you and he looked down in pleasant surprise.
“You’re so impatient, do you want me that badly, pretty girl?”
Josh quirked his eyebrows up, laughing a breathy laugh.
You nodded your head, tugging harder at his pants, head swirling as you felt the hardness beneath them.
“Why so quiet? I want to hear you talk with that needy voice of yours,”
He tilted your head up with a finger under your chin, forcing you to look him in the eyes as you spoke.
He had, after all, heard your small moans and whimpers.
“You…I want you,”
You finally managed let out quietly, your heartbeat quickening as your chest rose and fell swiftly, embarrassment, guilt and excitement all mixing into one odd amalgamation.
You wondered if Casey was looking for you.
Josh leaned into you, connecting your lips once again and disintegrating any other thoughts that weren’t about him and his warm lips moving against your own.
You moaned against his mouth at the return of his tongue to yours, tucking your fingers under the waistband of his jeans and underwear, grazing the sensitive skin there.
He groaned into the kiss, chuckling as he leaned away, his mouth still on yours.
“You’re a tease, gorgeous,”
Josh spoke, shutting his eyes and trying to savor the feeling of your fingers on his body.
He looked down at you, forehead resting on your own, and waited for a response as his mouth hung open in desire.
You looked up at him, flashing a devious grin and swiping your tongue over your bottom lip as you slowed your fingers and returned them to resting on the sides of his face, tangled in his hair.
“S’that better?” you asked, a taunting tone taking to your voice.
Josh let out a breathy laugh, his hand squeezing at your hip and the other tugging softly at your hair, you were playing a dangerous game.
“Yeah, much,” he answered, a sarcastic twinge present in his words.
He danced his fingers down your neck, stopping them as he got to your sternum.
The tips of his fingers grazed the edge of your vest and dipped under it until they found the slight beginnings of the underside of your breast.
His touch was light, barely there, and only whispers of warmth trailed behind it as he followed the curved outline of your breast, up and down.
Your breath hitched and goosebumps prickled at your skin.
You stared up at him intently, focused on his own gaze steady on your chest.
His movements were so precise, so soft, you were putty in his hands.
He flicked his stare back to your face, searching for any reaction to his teasing and smirked upon finding your open mouthed and pleading eyed expression.
“Now who’s the tease?”
You managed to get out, but not without your voice wavering as his fingers continued drawing lazy lines up and down the contour of your breast.
He let out a chuckle and his eyes narrowed.
He moved his hand around your breast, kneading at the supple flesh slowly, dragging his fingers over your hardened nipple as his other hand dug into your hip.
You leaned into him, feeling some relief as he finally touched you, even hungrier for more.
You tightened your fingers in his hair, tugging at the curls and dragging your other hand to rest on his neck as you pulled his lips back onto your own.
His hands grabbed at you more desperately, pulling your hips into his and catching your nipple between his fingers as his hand feverishly molded around your breast.
You both breathed into the kiss, the two of you getting more and more needy as slight nips on your lips became harsh bites and soft kisses became desperate and rough.
He tugged at your hair, pulling your head to the side as he moved his lips down your jaw and to that sweet spot on your neck. You sucked in a harsh breath as he dragged his teeth further down your neck, eliciting slight twinges of pain before soothing them with a warm flick of his tongue.
You could feel his hardness against you as his hand continued pulling your hips into his, trying to find any friction he could.
You brought your hands down to his shirt, fiddling with the few remaining buttons and dragging your hands against the exposed flesh when you finally managed to unbutton them. He shivered under your touch, grinding his hips further onto yours as you once again dipped your fingers under his waistband.
You retreated your touch again only to bring your hand over his clothed hardness.
He sighed heavily into your neck as you palmed his erection, his pants tight around it.
You were desperate for more, more of him and more of his skin on your skin and his warmth on and in every part of yours.
Going to his belt, you sloppily undid it until it hung open on his hips.
He moved his hand to the swell of your ass, squeezing at the flesh, stray fingers accidentally finding their way under your skirt that was quickly riding up your thighs.
You undid his button, placing your hands on his chest and pushing him away slightly.
He looked at you curiously as you pulled his shirt off his shoulders and began trailing your fingers down his torso, eventually lowering yourself onto your knees.
His mouth hung open and his chest fell and rose quicker than it had before as his hands began tangling in your hair.
“You don’t have to, darling.”
You nodded.
“I know, I just want to taste you, I want to make you feel good.”
He let out a breath, a smirk tugging at his lips.
“How could I refuse?” He offered, his tongue tracing the bottoms of his teeth.
A heat grew between your legs, you wanted to have him in your mouth.
You wanted him to be hitting the back of your throat until you gagged and made a mess of you all for his own pleasure.
“Open that pretty mouth for me,” you did as he said, the corners of his lips pulling up at the action.
He brought his own hands down to his pants, motioning for you to return yours to your side.
He unzipped his jeans painfully slowly, rubbing himself over his underwear a few times before hooking his fingers under their waistband and pulling them down, his cock springing against his stomach upon being released from the tight confines of his briefs.
Your breath got stuck in your throat as you stared at him with an open mouth, now not so confident you could take him.
His eyes darkened as he ran his hand over the length of his cock, pressing the tip against your lips.
You swallowed dryly, words escaping you in that very moment.
“Don’t give up before you try, sweet girl. I want to feel your pretty mouth around me,”
Josh moved his other hand to your mouth, the pad of his thumb dragging your bottom lip down, his cock still resting on your lips.
You wrapped your hand around the base of him as he retreated his own from himself.
You pressed a soft kiss to the tip, traveling sweet kisses down the length of him, dragging your tongue up to his head once you reached the bottom of him.
His hands tangled in your hair as soft, breathy groans escaped his lips, his eyes fluttering closed and mouth hanging open.
You wrapped your lips around his head, swirling your tongue around him. His hands tightened in your hair and he pushed at the back of your head slightly, trying to get you to take him in even farther. You complied, dragging your mouth down and around him until he hit the back of your throat.
Hollowing your cheeks around him, you bobbed your head up and down his length.
You looked up at him as he opened his eyes to watch you work your mouth around him, the side of his lip quirking up.
He held your head still with his hands firmly grasping at your hair and thrusted into your mouth. You moaned around him, half out of surprise and half out of pleasure.
He started off slow, trailing his eyes until they met with your own, tears beginning to well up in them.
His eyes were dark with lust and his mouth morphed into an evil smirk while he watched for your reaction every time he roughly thrust himself into your mouth.
He sped up and tears fell from the corner of your eyes as he continued hitting the back of your throat over and over again, faster and faster. He let out guttural groans as he pulled you away from him, saliva trailing from your mouth to his dick and trickling down the sides of your lips.
He huffed out a breath, stroking himself a few times and bringing the pad of his thumb down to wipe your mouth and the tears still present on your cheeks.
“I made such a mess of you mama,” He spoke through lost breaths as he looked down at you adoringly, “you felt so fucking good.”
You only looked back at him, your eyes connecting with him in a foggy haze. He bent down to you and pressed his lips against yours, so breathtakingly delicate in contrast to his previous actions.
He pulled away, and searched your eyes, moist with leftover tears. He pulled you up with a gentle tug of the arm and pushed you into the bed, soft with burnt orange bedding.
“It’s your turn to feel good my pretty girl,” Your face flushed.
You knew it was just something that slipped out of his mouth, that you had only known each other for at most two or three hours, but the words trickling off his lips made you feel special.
His.
He pushed you back so you were laying down, your head propped up on the few pillows resting against his headboard.
He crawled on top of you, settling himself between your legs and stopping as he hovered over your lower stomach.
He huffed out a quiet, shaky breath, and licked his lips, staring at the exposed skin of your torso. He traced the tips of his fingers from your lower stomach, just above where the waistband of your skirt settled, to the space between your breasts, still slightly covered by the vest.
You shivered under his touch again, so light, so delicate, yet so electric.
You stared at him hovering over you.
The way his eyes distracted themselves on studying every inch of your skin, his lips hung open in admiration and craving, glistening with saliva.
God, he was so pretty.
He brought his hands to your vest, slowly removing it as you leaned off the bed slightly to help him get it off you. He drew in a breath, his focus on your naked torso.
He looked back up to you, questioning and desire present in his expression.
He finally placed a hand on your breast, slowly kneading at it as he brought his lips to place feather light kisses in between your breasts.
He grazed his tongue over your nipple as his hand worked at your other breast. You drew in a sharp breath, relishing in the intimate touch.
He lapped at you again, this time without stopping.
Swirling his tongue around your nipple sloppily, his hand feverishly squeezed and played with your other breast.
He detached his lips from you and trailed them down your stomach, slowly, delicately.
Trails of saliva followed his actions and soon his kisses found their way to your waistband.
He stayed there, nipping and sucking at the skin, your hips involuntarily squirming and bucking as he formed bruises on them. His hand moved from your breast to under your skirt.
The black fabric scrunched up at your hips as his hand desperately hooked around the side of your underwear.
You whined quietly, the kisses becoming too little and his hand becoming too far from where you wanted it.
He dragged your skirt off your hips and past your legs, discarding his own bottoms as well onto the floor.
You took him in for a split second, tracing your eyes around the contours and curves of his nude body, your face heated up and an electric feeling coursed through your veins.
Before you could look any more he bent down to hover over your hips. He pulled down the side of your underwear fastened to your hip just an inch, his breath hot on the bit of skin as his face hovered just an inch or two from your body.
He worked his lips there and trailed them to the other side of your body, his fingers teasingly pulling down your underwear just the slightest bit and pressing intimate kisses on the forbidden skin there.
You squirmed under his touch and your voice pleaded out with whimpers and whines. He looked up to you, a soft smile forming on his lips.
He finally brought his mouth down over your clothed core, kissing over the fabric. You shivered and brought your hands down to settle in his loose curls, already wild from your previous rendezvous.
He brought his mouth back to your waistband and settled the fabric between his teeth, pulling it down your legs.
You closed your legs, embarrassment washing over you as much as lust and desire.
“Don’t get shy now, let me see you,” Josh kneeled in front of you.
He slipped his hands between your knees, pulling them apart and settling himself in between you.
He licked his lips as he dipped his head down between your legs until you could feel his warm breath on your core. You exhaled a quick and sharp breath.
“You keep getting prettier, sweet girl,”
Josh raised his head, looking into your eyes before returning them to between your legs.
His arms wrapped under your legs, hands curling around to grip at your hip and squeeze at the tops of your thighs.
Once again all that was present on your exposed core was his warm breath, teasing as your hips struggled not to squirm under his manipulation.
You could feel his breath before you could hear the slight breathy chuckles come from between your legs.
“So needy for me,”
He teased, watching the way your body reacted to him.
“Please, Josh,” you struggled out, frustration building.
“I want to take my time mama, be with such a pretty girl as long as I can,” he answered with his fingernails dragging soft stinging circled around your hip.
“I might just leave then,”
You challenged, knowing damn well it wasn’t true.
He knowingly called your bluff.
“I just don’t think that’s true,” he answered, his voice just slightly lower than before, his breath slightly closer.
He extended his tongue and your body jolted before melting into his warmth. You rolled your hips against his tongue, stationary and velvet soft.
You groaned with frustration, he was giving you just enough, but nothing more.
You returned your hands to his curls, tightening them in the messy brown waves, pulling him closer into you.
He gave in, moving his tongue in sweet, soft circles around your clit. His pace quickened and you lost sight of anything and anyone except you and him.
You moaned out, but the sound caught in your throat and your mouth hung open in splendid delight.
He groaned into you and you pulled at his curls unabashedly, not having the mental capacity to worry if it hurt him or not.
He closed his mouth around your clit, sucking and kissing before returning his tongue to work at you.
The warm feeling began tumbling in the pit of your stomach and suddenly your whole body felt like it was on fire.
His hands dug into the flesh of your thighs, fingers dipping toward the sensitive spots on the inside of your thigh.
You let out a breathy whimper followed by a line of expletives you were trying your best not to yell in hopes no one downstairs would hear what was happening in Josh’s room.
“Don’t hold back, let everyone hear how good I make you feel, mama,”
Josh hurried the words out before pressing his lips back onto you.
With only those words, your inhibitions had left you and you were moaning out without shame.
His name, various curses, anything and everything.
The burning feeling pooled up in your stomach and you knew you were close.
“Josh, keep going…fuck,” you managed out between laboured breaths and whimpers.
Upon your words, he groaned into you, moving his hand from your thigh to your entrance, teasing a finger. You bucked your hips into him and you could feel the smirk form on his lips.
He gave in, pushing two fingers into you.
You shuttered with delight as you stretched around him.
You hadn’t done this in a while, and the twinge of pain from his fingers made you delightedly fearful for how he would feel inside you, how he would stretch you out.
A wave of overwhelming pleasure hazed all your senses, all you could feel was him. He kept a steady pace of his fingers as he wrapped his mouth around your clit.
“F-fuck,”
You choked out, squeezing your thighs around his head and grinding yourself against his lips as you chased your release.
Your legs shook as your thighs tightened around him, reaching your climax.
You squeezed your eyes together, your mouth hanging open as a moan caught in the back of your throat. He groaned into you, slowing his fingers and mouth.
You exhaled a long shaky breath, opening your eyes and returning to Josh resting between your legs.
He crawled over you, making his place between your legs. You sucked in a breath as you felt his hard cock against you. He dragged his tongue over your bottom lip.
“Do you taste how sweet you are?”
You licked over your bottom lip and his eyes hung on them, his lids half opened in a delighted daze.
“Hmmm?” He continued.
You nodded your head and the corner of his mouth tugged up.
“What a sweet girl,”
Josh continued, murmuring praises in your ear as he pressed hot, wet kisses down your neck.
He pushed his cock against you, teasing your entrance.
“Are you going to be a good girl for me mama?”
He grabbed your chin between his thumb and pointer finger, his grasp harsher than anything before.
There was something dangerous in his eyes.
He tugged your head up when you didn’t answer.
“Hmm? Will you let me fuck you any way I want?”
He drew his eyebrows down.
You nodded, catching yourself quickly and speaking out,
“Yes.”
A grin fell on his lips.
“Yes what?”
He pushed.
“I-I’ll let you fuck me Josh, do whatever you want with me,”
Josh watched you closely, his eyes always finding their way back to your lips.
“Good,”
He finally let out, pushing himself into you to the hilt.
Your mouth dropped open as he painfully stretched you out. He stayed still inside you for only a second before beginning a harsh pace, the bed under you shaking with his movements.
You could only think about what the people downstairs must’ve been thinking for a single second before the burning pain turned into sweet pleasure.
He thrust into you relentlessly, each time hitting a spot inside you that made you unashamedly yell out his name.
“What a pretty girl, yelling out my name like that,”
He slowed down, moving into with rough punctuated thrusts,
“taking it all like the good girl you are.”
“Oh god, Josh…” you whimpered out, his pace speeding up again, the bed moving harshly underneath the two of you.
There was no way the people downstairs hadn’t noticed, even despite the thumping music and loud chatter.
Josh let out mumbled curses, your name mixed in with them along with various ‘good girls’ and ‘what a pretty girl’s.
He grabbed your leg feverishly, hoisting it over his shoulder, hitting a spot deep inside you.
“Fuck..” you gasped out.
“Yeah, you gonna cum mama, you gonna give it all to me?”
His words just brought you closer as you tightened around him, his eyes squeezing closed at the feeling.
“Fuck, give it to me like a good girl.”
He was close too, you could tell by the way his pace faltered.
He sped up, falling flush against the backs of your thighs, pulling your other leg over his shoulder.
You both grew louder the closer you got, hurtling towards your finish.
“Cum with me pretty girl, let me see you make a mess all over my dick,” he thrusted into you harder and harder.
His eyes stayed focused and unwavering on your face, delighted as your mouth hung open, your eyebrows knitted together in pleasure.
You came undone around him, thighs shaking as your nails dug into the skin on the backs of his arms.
He fucked you through your climax until he came to his own release, spilling inside of you as he continued slow exhausted thrusts inside of you.
He stopped and hung his head down, the both of you searching for breath. Your legs hung limply on his shoulders as his torso pressed against the backs of your thighs, sticky sweat beginning to dry between the two of you.
After a few seconds of silence, the only noise that of your gasps and muffled music from downstairs, he gently took your legs and rested them on opposite sides of him.
He pulled out slowly, a twinge suddenly present on his face from the loss of you.
You could feel the mess spilling from between your legs, uncomfortable and sticky.
Josh hovered above you, staring down at your face, tracing your features before pressing soft kisses to your temples and eventually on your lips.
“I’m going to have to do a lot of explaining to Casey,” Josh chuckled.
A guilty grin erupted on your face as well.
“As will I. She finally brings me to meet her friends from home and I disappear with one of them after two hours.”
Josh’s lips fell into an easy smile.
“You’re gorgeous.”
You allowed yourself to revel in the moment.
Sure, you barely knew the man, and sure, it was most likely a simple one night stand, but in the moment, you felt happy, special, warm, cared for.
It seemed to just be the way Josh made people feel, he had that special something about him.

Ice Cream for Breakfast
Tumblr media
JoshxReader
Warnings: none, this is pure fluff
Summary: Going on a breakfast date with Josh.
~Ding~ Your phone lights up. Grabbing it from your night stand, you check to see who it is.
Joshy: Hey sweet thing, want to grab some breakfast with me?
Me: Do you really have to ask? Give me 15 and I'll be ready.
Joshy: Sounds good, see you soon 😘
With that, you jump out of bed and quickly get dressed. Throwing on your favorite vintage sweater and some jeans. Spraying dry shampoo in your hair and using your Honey + The Moon perfume. You jog over to grab your purse and right on time you hear a knock at your door.
"Good morning sunshine!" You say as you open the door.
"Good morning, bird." He says giving you a quick kiss. "Are you ready to go?"
You nod and the two of you head out. Josh asks where you want to go and of course you tell him to pick which leads to you bickering about where to go. Finally you agree to go to a little diner downtown, Gold Rush Diner. One of your favorite little mom and pop restaurants.
As you walk in, you look for a place to sit. Josh points out a little corner booth tucked in the back and you head over. Picking up the menu, you browse all the options. Pancakes, waffles, omelets, so many things to choose from. You decide on butter pecan waffles and a caramel milkshake. You place your order with the waitress and wait for your food.
"Did you really order ice cream for breakfast?" Josh asks with a chuckle.
"You're one to talk, Mr. I drink beer with my breakfast because it's the Kiszka way." You joke back.
"Fair enough." He laughs. "I shouldn't really be surprised, I guess. Of course my sweet girl needs something sweet for breakfast."

The scenery in Michigan was vastly different than back home. You were used to and comfortable with the nearly unforgiving heat of the American South West, but the farther away you got from home, the more foreign everything seemed. The scrubland slowly started being replaced by emerald green grass and dense forests of towering pines. Once you hit Illinois, little farmsteads were scattered along every road you took, boasting fields thick with corn and beans.
It was a bit over a full day’s worth of driving. You had originally thought you could just drive right through - after all, you were young and you had plenty of caffeine at the ready. In reality, you wound up digesting the trip over two days.
You were a fortunate enough person that you had a reliable car, which made up for the fact that it wasn’t very pretty to look at. It didn’t exactly sip gas, but that had never even been a concern before this - it wasn’t very often that you left home, let alone make a trip across the country. But you were able to breathe a sigh of relief when you started seeing the exit signs for Ann Arbor.
Your parents had been a bit judgemental about you picking a school so far away - they were even worse homebodies than you, and they knew that you being across the country meant they wouldn’t be seeing you until the school year was over - but there was no way you could turn down an opportunity like this one. You had worked your ass off to qualify for a scholarship, knowing full well that there was no way you could afford higher education otherwise. MU hadn’t been your very first choice but with one of the better programs in the country for your desired field, you just couldn’t turn it down.
You had to pull over into a McDonald’s parking lot to pull up the address you were looking for and program it into your phone’s GPS before continuing further into the city. Your mother had been particularly wary about your living situation. See, she was a woman that adamantly liked to have a plan and then stick to it - she didn’t see any value in just letting things happen. “Go with the flow” wasn’t in her vocabulary, but you’d always romanticised the idea. Which was why, when you pulled up to the apartment that you were going to be living in for the next year, it was the first time you’d ever seen it.
You had found the listing on the Facebook marketplace for the area, looked at a couple of pictures, and signed the lease agreement online - all without knowing what you were really in for. You’d been informed that you’d have a roommate when you’d contacted the landlord, but she hadn’t mentioned a thing about the person other than that. All she really said was “no pets, no smoking, and one month’s rent for the security deposit. You had told yourself that it didn’t really matter what the situation was as long as the other person wasn’t outwardly malicious and the place wasn’t infested with pests or anything, even though you knew it mattered a little.
An audible sigh of relief left your lips when you pulled into the apartment parking lot and found that your new home looked well kept. The building had old, slide-up windows, but the brick siding was clean, and the shrubs that lined the property were trimmed and neat. You and your back seat stuffed to max capacity with house plants had made it - and with only a bit of sleep deprivation and caffeine jitters for damages.
After you got out of the car, you grabbed your very favorite potted cactus and found your way into the building, meandering down the dim hall until you came upon the door marked 6. You hadn’t been given a key yet, so you knocked with your free hand and waited until you heard someone shuffling around inside.
You would be lying if you said you weren’t nervous - obviously, you were - but more than anything you were excited. Anxious, maybe? That seemed like the right word.
The door opened to reveal a boy, around your age, hair a mess of curls on the top and shorn tighter to the sides of his head. You were immediately taken aback by the depth in his eyes, chocolatey and warm.
“What’s up?” he asked casually, leaning against the door frame, a pair of old-school headphones dangling from his hand.
You frowned at him slightly, suddenly terrified you’d gotten the wrong apartment number. You weren’t sure how you’d live with that embarrassment, especially if you had to live next door to him - you’d just be that stupid girl that didn’t even know where she lived.  “Oh, I think I’m your new roommate? This is number six, right?” You peered around the other side of the open door, just to confirm.
A beaming grin spread over his soft face, showing you his blindingly white teeth and the deepest pair of dimples you’d ever seen. “Oh, cool, yeah. Come on in.”
He stepped aside, giving a dramatically flourished bow as a gesture for you to enter. You obliged, and even though this was your new house too, you paused and waited as he shut the door behind you.
“Sorry, I was expecting you yesterday, so.” He trailed off with a sheepish smile and then extended his free hand to you. “Anyway, I’m Josh.”
You shifted your cactus to one arm so you could shake his hand. “Y/N. Yeah, sorry, it took me longer than I expected to get here. Which is why my stuff apparently showed up before I did.”
You eyed around the apartment, spotting boxes of your things in piles. The original plan your parents had come up with was to have you rent a U-Haul, but since you’d never driven anything bigger than your Camry, you had quickly shot that idea down. After some expert negotiating, they had agreed to hire a moving company. You hadn’t had the balls to ask what a service like that had set them back - decided instead that it was better if you didn’t know.
“Oh yeah,” he replied, rubbing at the back of his neck. “It all showed up yesterday at like noon. One of the boxes was open a little, and I saw records so I looked through them to make sure you weren’t some kind of freak.”
It was more of a statement than a warning, and the smile he gave you showed not even a shred of an apology so you just smiled back. “Find anything you like?”
He turned on his heel and headed into the kitchen - connected to the living room by a huge square archway. “Your music taste is,” He paused, opening a cupboard and pulling down two mismatched glasses. “Eclectic.”
You laughed at him, bending to gently set your plant down on a side table. “That’s true.”
“But I found plenty I could listen to, so I guess you’re okay. You want some juice?” he asked as he held up a paper carton of store brand orange juice
“That would be lovely,” you agreed, standing stick straight the way you did when in the presence of new company. “My dad used to take me to a lot of thrift stores and we’d go home with a minimum of two records per trip.”
“I love thrifting,” he said simply, giving you an alarmingly serious look. “There are three here, I think. Every once in a while you can find something really worth keeping. I have kind of a ‘catch and release’ policy where if I don’t instantly know what I’m going to do with an item, I leave it there, but I think - like - a third of my wardrobe is from thrift stores.”
You listened, feeling oddly entranced by the way he was handing you thoughts as they came to him. There was something truly honest about it - a quality people back home didn’t seem to have. It was charming.
He brought your glass of juice to you and then motioned to the rest of the apartment. “You want the grand tour of Casa De Joshua-” He gave you a pointed look and a cheesy grin. “And Y/N?”
You breathed a laugh at him, nodding as you sipped. “Please.”
“Okay, try not to get lost - this is obviously the living room. I do most of my living here as the name would suggest. I found this couch on the side of the road - actually almost all of my furniture is adopted.” As he explained, he was gesturing to items like Vanna White.
The couch looked. Well-loved. You could tell just at a glance that it was probably past it’s prime when Josh had stumbled upon it, but it did look comfortable, and it wasn’t like you had a couch to offer, so you were happy with it.
“I have this TV but it’s really only for movies and stuff because I’m twenty-two and I’d rather die than pay for cable. But there are literally hundreds of DVDs in the TV stand that you are welcome to peruse at your leisure,” he informed, his hands gesturing almost arbitrarily as he talked.
You followed as he moved on through the archway. “This is the kitchen. All of the food lives here. There’s lots of stuff, but I try to just make two bigger meals per day. I don’t have a real ice tray so I’ve been using a chocolate mold- Well anyway, our ice will be in the shape of wiener dogs.”
You were shocked at the laugh that escaped you, genuine and uncontrolled. He grinned over at you, clearly also surprised - but pleased with himself for getting the reaction he was aiming for.
“I think I can live with that.”
“Good,” he agreed simply, giving you a new kind of smile - something sweeter. After a beat, he motioned down the hall with his eyes, letting you lead. “The bathroom is this way. The water takes like three or four minutes to get hot. I realized that I have a lot of products for some reason, but I condensed them all into this one area in the corner just in case my new roommate was a girl, and you are so that’s great. I’ll probably get a shelf.”
There was a proud quality to his voice like he felt gentlemanly for letting you have all the space you needed. For some reason, that made you feel warm and fuzzy.
“And what if your new roommate had been a boy?” you inquired with a smirk.
He put a finger on his chin, taking on a contemplative look for you. “Hmm. Then I guess I slowly would have moved my stuff back to the cabinet - probably just one thing per day so he wouldn’t notice. Unless he had a lot of makeup or something, then I’d just let him have it.”
He grinned as you teasingly shook your head.
“This way is the sleeping quarters. My room is there on the right and yours to the left.”
You stepped into your new room and let a sigh of relief. Two huge windows took up a lot of the far wall, framed underneath by large sills. The space was bright and roomier than you’d pictured. Your bed was set up in the very middle of the room, but you already knew exactly where you wanted it to go. For some reason, you had been concerned that you wouldn’t like the space, but it was kind of perfect.
“This is great,” you breathed, turning to him and giving him a sly grin. “Wanna give me a hand moving my furniture around?”
He pretended to consider for a moment until you spoke again.
“My mom sent money for pizza while I get stuff unpacked,” you said coyly. “If you needed any convincing.”
He laughed, showing you his teeth. “You drive a hard bargain. Okay, I’ll help as long as I get to look through your stuff while we move it.”
You gave him a questioning look, earning a one-shouldered shrug in return. He looked benign enough standing there, propped against the door frame with a goofy upturn to his lips, so you relented.
“Deal,” you agreed.
You were positive you would not have been able to move stuff without his help. For being a slender boy, he seemed to easily be able to get things where they needed to be. He dutifully helped you shove your furniture into place - your bed against the window wall, your desk and vanity on the wall with your closet door. Then, bless his little heart, he helped you move it all again when you decided you didn’t like the arrangement (but not without some light griping).
One by one, you brought in your boxes from the living room and you allowed him to poke through them, perched on your bed. He flipped through your books, thumbing pages of ones that piqued his interest - you could only imagine that he was already planning on borrowing some of them. He reacted similarly to your framed photos, as he unwrapped them from their packing paper.
When you got your record player set up, he put on a vinyl and started to hang your art prints on the wall where you instructed him to. The look of concentration on his face was rather endearing as he held a few nails between his teeth and hammered them into the wall, one by one. There was a time or two you were convinced that he was going to mutilate his thumb, but he didn’t, and when the last picture was hung, you breathed a sigh of relief.
You called in a pizza, adorned with his requested toppings as you hung your clothes into your closet, your phone tucked against your ear and shoulder for maximum efficiency.
Plants collected on your bed until there was no more room for them - after that, he started setting them on the floor as he brought them in from your car. He didn’t seem to be judging the sheer amount of them, even though he had every right to.
“It’s going to look like a jungle in here,” he stated finally as he took a bite out of a slice of pizza that he was holding like a taco, his eyes raking over all of the foliage scattered around your room. Rather than sounding like he was teasing, his tone seemed excited.
You grinned at him, starting to arrange them on the window sill and your bookshelf that had only ever served you as a plant shelf since you’d bought it. “Plants are my passion. Botany major,” you explained as you fluffed up your Monstera’s huge leaves.
“Ooh.” He raised his eyebrows at you, pulling one of his legs up underneath him on your bed - now fitted with sheets. “I think that’s going to be nice. Give it some life in here.”
You grabbed another slice from the pizza box on your nightstand and tried to think of the right tone of voice to use to ask the next question. “How long have you lived here by yourself?”
He hummed, eyes flicking around distantly as he thought. “Well, I’ve lived here just over a year, and my first roommate dropped out and moved back home about...six months ago?”
“Have you been lonely? You seem like a social guy.” You gave him an empathetic look but he just shrugged at you. You hadn’t known him long enough to know for sure, but you suspected he was more affected than he was letting on.
“I mean, a little lonely. But I got used to it for the most part.” He paused for a good couple of seconds before a smile spread across his lips. “And Penny’s kept me company.”
“Oh, does your girlfriend stay here too?” you prompted, trying to remember if you’d seen any feminine looking items lying around that weren’t yours.
“What? No,” he said under a chuckle and stood, gesturing for you to follow him across the hall.
The second you walked through the doorway, you were met with the smell of incense sticks and linen. His room was dimmer than yours and kind of cramped with all of his mismatching furniture, but he had a huge bed - you thought it could easily fit three people in it. There were some clothes strewn about around a laundry hamper by the door and you tried to not be jealous that his closet seemed to be about twice the size of yours.
He crossed the room to crouch in front of a coffee table that he seemed to be using as a catch-all. The varnish was worn off the top of it in rings because sitting on the coffee table was a globe of water and a calico colored goldfish swimming around aimlessly inside of it.
“Ah, so this is Penny,” you giggled as you bent over next to him. When the fish spotted him, it rose to the surface of the water, opening its mouth in demand for food.
He grinned down at it. “Light of my life. We’re not allowed to have pets but I figured that a fish didn’t count.”
You hummed, admittedly a bit charmed by the whole situation. “But don’t goldfish require a lot of space?”
The smile fell from his face, adopting a level of concern you hadn’t yet seen from him as he peered over at you. “Do they?”
Immediately, you felt guilty for putting that look on his features. Your brain kick-started - trying to think of a way to make it right again. “I think so? Maybe we can find her a small tank? Put a few little plants in there for her?”
Josh nodded at you, stroking his fingers over the glass with a frown. “I’m a bad dad.”
“No, no!” you assured, putting your hand on his head but then removing it instantly when you realized that you didn’t really know him, he’d just already made you feel like you did. Either way, you figured it would be inappropriate to touch him. “You’re great. She looks really happy.”
“She’s great at begging for food, so don’t get tricked,” Josh instructed after a moment, seemingly able to put his concerns aside to jest you.
You nodded in agreement. “I’ll be ever vigilant,” you promised, making him smile again.
He stood back up, so you did as well.
“Well, I’ll give you some time to get comfortable in your room,” Josh said, sitting back on his bed. “Let me know if you need anything, okay?”
“I promise I will,” you assured, tapping your hand on the doorframe on your way out.
By the time the sun was set, your room was shockingly well put together. The emotional rollercoaster that was the album Rumors helped you keep on task, losing yourself in the music so it didn’t feel like work at all. You hadn’t been expecting it to come along so quickly, but you guessed that was because you hadn’t anticipated such a friendly roommate. The nesting had always been your favorite part, so you took your time to enjoy placing out all your knick-knacks and photos.
You took a break to shower when you decided you were done for the day, reveling in the feeling of the water after such a long time in your car - He was absolutely right about how long it took to warm up from ice cold. When you got out and changed into your pajamas, Josh was sitting in the living room with a laptop across his legs.
“You wanna chill?” he asked when he heard you padding down the hall, shutting the lid of it and setting it on a side table. “Or if you’re too tired, that’s okay too.”
“No, no. I’d love to talk.” You sat next to him, leaving a comfortable amount of room between you as you pulled your knees up to your chin. “Tell me more about yourself,” you requested, tugging a blanket from a beat-up wicker basket on the floor and wrapping it around your body.
“Hmm, okay,” he started. You wondered how long it had been since he had to introduce himself to someone new. “I’m from a tiny little town here in Michigan. I’m the oldest of four - two brothers and a sister. My brother, Jake, also attends MU and lives just off campus.”
You frowned at him. “Wait, why wouldn’t he live with you?” you asked through a disbelieving laugh.
“He lived with me long enough,” Josh explained in a humored tone. “There are only so many people where I’m from and well - we wanted to meet new people, you know?”
“I guess I should be grateful for that.”
“Yeah, probably,” he teased and then paused to think. “I’m in performing arts - I’m actually putting on a production around Christmas with some elementary school kids.”
You suppressed the aww that was threatening to pass your lips. “You like kids?”
He beamed you a smile, shaking his head. “Love them. I want to have like ten of them someday.”
The thought of him surrounded by kids made you soften. You were genuinely shocked about how easy he was to talk to - how easy he was to like. You had never thought in a million years you’d get along with your roommate so well, let alone the first day meeting them.
“I hope you get to,” you said as genuinely as you could muster, prompting him to give you a grateful smile.
A yawn escaped you before you could hide it, and you quickly breathed an apology, but he just waved you off.
“You must be exhausted from that drive,” he said, his voice soft. “You should get some sleep.”
You nodded in agreement and gave him a thankful smile. “Is it okay if I sleep out here?”
The look on his face was quizzical, forcing a laugh from you. “Why would you do that?”
“I have this tradition where whenever I’m in a new place, I always sleep in the living room on the first night. It’s good luck.”
“Whatever you say.” His lips pulled back into an unconvinced smirk. “Well, yeah, you live here now too, so you can sleep wherever you’d like.”
He disappeared into his room for only a moment before popping his head back out, fingers wrapped around the door frame.
“Do you mind if I join you?”
You tried not to look too taken aback by the question, but you could feel your cheeks flushing warm. You raked your eyes along the couch, entirely positive that there wasn’t enough space for the two of you to lay out on it together fully - at least, not without being pressed flush against one another. However, his face looked innocent and soft - not a single tint of mischief colored across his features.
“Yeah, that-. I guess that’s okay,” you agreed sheepishly with a shrug. “But I’m not sure we’ll both fit if I’m being honest.”
He frowned questioningly at you, his brows lacing together until he realized what you thought he meant. His face instantly turned a light shade of pink to match yours. “No, no,” he quickly assured in between a breathy laugh. “I’m not going to sleep with you - I’ll take the recliner.”
“Oh, right.” You gave a nervous laugh of your own, cursing yourself out in your head for being so dull.
You were still well embarrassed as you made a nest of blankets on the couch and he brought out a pillow for you when you realized yours were still tucked deep in your bag of bedding. When each of you was situated on your respective pieces of furniture, he flicked the light off with a comfortable sigh.
It was silent for a moment before he spoke again, his voice taking on a tone that was far too smug for your liking. “You were awfully quick to agree to sleep next to me. You don’t have a crush on me, do you?”
You knew he was teasing, but your heart rate still managed to pick up under the pressure. You had never been particularly good with awkward social situations; you rolled your eyes in the dark, thankful he couldn’t see how red you were. “No, Josh. I do not have a crush on you.”
“Okay,” he said through a melodic laugh, and you got the feeling that he’d gotten the reaction he was aiming for from you. “Should we be best friends though?”
You snorted a laugh of your own, wanting to be annoyed at how likable he was, but falling short. “You are the most peculiar person I’ve ever met, I think.” You curled up, clutching your blanket tight to your body. “But yes. We can be friends.”
“Okay, cool - I’ll order matching t-shirts for us.” You could hear the pleased grin he was wearing, making you feel warm and cozy. You pulled the worn blanket up to your chin.
“See to it that you do.”

House To Ourselves

A sigh of relief escaped past your lips as you watched the rest of the family drive off in their little red car. It had been a long Christmas vacation, to say the least. As much as you loved your family as well as Josh’s it got to be quite hectic when they all came together to spend the holidays at the house. You and Josh had more than enough room for everyone, but there always seemed to be too much commotion and not enough quiet time. You continued to stare out the window as you watched the little red car drive off into the distance. Snow was lightly falling from the sky and a warm cup of coffee rested between your fingers. Josh slowly came up behind you, wrapping his strong arms around your waist and giving you a small peck on the cheek.
“What are ya thinking about, baby?” He asked you, his warm breath tickling your ear.
“Nothing. Just glad to finally have some peace and quiet.” You told him, turning around in his arms.
“Yeah, I know it can get kinda crazy here with everyone being pent up in the house.” You hummed in agreement wrapping your arms around him and raising up on your toes to give him a quick kiss.
“I missed spending time with just you.” He smiled down at you, tucking a stray strand of hair back behind your ear.
“I know.” He breathed out before hoisting you up. On instinct, you wrap your legs around his torso letting out a small yelp in surprise. “How about we go upstairs and make some holiday memories just the two of us?” Josh said, giving you a small smirk.
“I thought you’d never ask.” You giggled, a mischievous smirk in your eye. Josh gave you a wink before whisking you up the steps to your shared bedroom. He carefully opened the bedroom door before gently laying you down on the large bed. In a matter of seconds he was hovering over you showering you in sweet kisses. Before you knew it both of your clothes were in a pile on the floor as Josh worshiped your body. Starting at your soft tender lips and working his way down to your sweet pussy, he left open-mouthed kisses on every inch of skin.
“Josh…” you murmured trying to push his head toward the place you needed him most.
“Relax baby, I’ll get there soon enough.” He mumbled as he kissed the inside of your thighs. Not long after you felt him gently lick over your most sensitive area. You let out a loud moan of approval which spurred him on. Before you knew it you were coating him in your juices. As he came up for air he gave you a passionate kiss as you tasted yourself on his tongue. “My favorite dessert,” he murmured “even better than moms Christmas cookies.” He said smiling as you let out a small chuckle.
“And I’m sure you taste even better.” You tell him gently squeezing his biceps.
“No baby. Not today. You have been amazing this week. Putting up with my crazy family.”
“Our crazy family.” You interrupt him. He rolls his eyes playfully.
“Whatever, you have done so much for me and the family and this is my thank you to you.” He said before aligning his tip up with your center. You rolled your hips forward, just wanting him to be inside you already.
“Josh stop teas-oh!” You didn’t even need to finish your sentence before he was fully inside of you.
“What was that you were saying?” He smugly asks as you adjust to him filling you up. Tantalizing slowly he starts to rock his hips into yours as his arms cage over your body. Not even ten minutes later you both are sweating, panting hard, as you come down from your climax. “Damn baby, each time I don’t think it can get any better and yet you surprise me each time.” Josh heaves out next to you before rolling over on his side to look at your blissed out face. You give him a hum of approval as you try to calm down your breathing. “I’ll be right back.” He tells you before getting up and pulling on a pair of boxers and leaving the room. When he comes back he has a glass of water in his hand and something small and wrapped in the other. He carefully hands you the water as you sit up taking a few sips before looking over at him.
“What’s that?” You ask him.
“It’s your final Christmas gift.” He tells you.
“Josh, Christmas was over two days ago.”
“I know, but I was looking for the right time and with the family around it never really happened.” He explained to you as he handed you the gift. You looked at him, giving him a weak smile before unwrapping the gift.
“Josh what’s this?” You asked him, looking down at the small locket that had a clock face on it.
“It’s a promise,” he tells you gently, grabbing the locket from you and guiding you to turn your back towards him. “a promise that no matter who we are with or where we are I’ll always make time for you.” He clasps the chain in place before you turn back to him. Tears well in your eyes as you embrace him.
“I love it.” You murmur into his neck as his arms hold your figure.
“Merry Christmas baby.” He whispers to you.
“Merry Christmas Josh.”

Confessions
Some Josh x Reader fluff ❤️
You sighed, taking a swig of your drink. He looked stunning as always, the warm lights illuminating his skin and making his teeth glint. All you wanted at this moment was to wrap your arms around him. Someone knocked into you from behind, pulling you out from your daydreamsmaking you spill half the contents of your glass onto your shirt. You swore, pushed yourself away from the table and headed for the bathroom. This was bound to be a bad night, you knew it the moment the guys invited you to their party. Dabbing at the stain, you caught your reflection in the mirror- small eyes, big pores, and many other things you wished you could change. A small sob escaped your lips- “Stop the pity party. This is NOT the time. Save it for bed”- you told yourself, chucking the wadded up ball of toilet paper in the trash can. As you walked into the hall you felt yourself colliding with someone- of course it was him. You put on the best fake smile you could muster –“My bad” “It’s alright darling”- he smiled,-“Hey are you ok?” – he pulled you aside, brows furrowing. “Yes! Totally. My shirt.. just got kinda ruined. That’s all”-you chuckled, starting to pull away. His grip on your elbow loosened and he nodded, already occupied with something in the distance, “ok, see you around”- he rubbed your shoulder. You nodded, swallowing. God, you needed a drink after him touching you. It left you feeling of fire and craving. Maybe if you never met him in the first place you wouldn’t be feeling this.. whatever feeling this was. Seeing him laughing ,smiling and being totally oblivious to your feelings made you want to cry. You knew you were so far out of his league- he was intelligent, kind and ridiculously talented and good looking. And you? Definitely not his type. You made your way to the kitchen, pouring yourself some rum and coke and settled on a green armchair in the corner of the room. Jake was standing at the other end with his girlfriend, he waved, making eye contact with you. Returning the gesture you took a swig of your drink and leaned back. You mulled over the possibilities- if you did tell him how you feel… and he would be interested… no, nope, he would never be interested in you. But what if? You groaned internally -Why were you torturing yourself like this? Why couldn’t you just ask him? What’s the worst that could happen if he’d say no? Oh, right- you’d just not live it down? The only reason you came to this stupid party was to see him. And hopefully get a shot of courage and tell him how you feel. Before you could contemplate your next move, a pair of warm hands landed on your shoulders- “Jesus, Danny, what the hell?”- you whacked his arm as he gave you a small hug. “What are you doing here all alone?” “Just sitting. Having a drink. But you’re here now! What’s new!”- you tried to change the subject and made room for him on the armchair. Instead he picked you up and sat you down on his knees, making you chuckle. “Everything ok? You looked kinda sad, sitting here all alone” “I’m just… chilling” “All alone? Drink in hand?”- he smiled down at you. The height difference between you and Danny was always obvious. “Yep. Avoiding certain people” “Mhm. And who might that be exactly?” You picked at the hem of your shirt. “Hm? Do I know him?”- he prodded. “Yeah. Very well actually” “How well?” “Danny. Cmon. Don’t”. “And might that reason for avoiding that person be because of certain feelings?”He laughed. You nodded, playing with the rings on your fingers. “Just tell him. Whoever he is. But if he hurts you.. he’ll have to deal with me”- he rubbed your shoulders, making you smile. “I don’t have the guts to tell him. He’s just.. I’m definitely not his type”- you scoffed. “That’s crap. Who wouldn’t want to be with you ? Look at yourself: great sense of humor, intelligent, kind and gorgeous ”. You felt your cheeks get red. “I’m serious. Quit putting yourself down like that. But if we’re 40 and still not married… you know who to call ,right?”- he laughed getting up. You giggled, slapping his arm. “Definitely, Danny”.
“Hey, there you are. I’ve been looking for you everywhere!”- suddenly Josh appeared, making you jump.
“Here I am”. This is it. Just do it. Come on.
“Uh, Josh. Can we talk?”
He locked his phone, slipping it in his back pocket.
“Sure. What’s up?”
“Can we go someplace quiet?”
“Yeah, yeah”- he seemed concerned, his eyes glued to you now, trying to pick up anything out of the ordinary. He led you through the sea of people, holding your hand tight.
Stepping into the darkness of his room, your eyes scanned the movie posters on the walls, the old desk and dresser with Spider Man stickers still on it. You walked over to his bookshelf, moving your fingers over the spines of books you knew so well, since he lent them all to you at throughout the years you’ve known him.
“Remember how I used to read Emily Dickinson’s poetry to you in 10th grade? You’d come after school and I’d read it out loud to you ?”- he chuckled.
“Mm. I still love listening to your voice.”
“ Not much has changed then, has it?”
“It has”- you said quietly, more to yourself than to him.
“What?”
“Nothing, Josh”.
“What did you want to talk about?”- he sat down on his bed, patting the space next to him. You swallowed, instead walking up to the window that you’ve looked out of so often.
Your throat was dry.
“Uh. We need to talk. About something important”.
“Mhm. I figured. Everything ok?”- he chuckled softly.
“No. No it’s not”- you let out a shaky breath, raking your fingers through your hair.
“You’re scaring me. What’s up?”- he walked up to you, gently taking your hands away from your head.
“ I… this is crazy. Well not really, because you’re you and anyone would want ”-
“Calm down. Just tell me. Whatever it is…I’m here for you”- he took your face in his hands and caressed your cheeks with his thumbs. You felt dizzy and hot at the same time. This was it. The moment you could lose him forever.
“ I love you Josh. I have for a while.”- you breathed out. He blinked at you, taking in your confession. Definitely not expecting it.
“O…Kay. Okay. Wow. I-“- his hands slipped from your face.
“I just felt you should know. I couldn’t keep it to myself any longer. I’m so sorry”- you sat down on his bed, burying your face in your hands.
You fucked this up. That’s it. He’d never talk to you again. You knew this was a bad idea. You’d have to avoid each other at parties, at school. This was a disaster.
“God, Y/N. Why didn’t you tell me earlier? I’ve been going crazy thinking you’d never think of me that way. Seven years. Seven years I keep thinking of us”.
It was your turn to be surprised. You froze.
“I’m sorry, what??”- he turned his body towards yours and took your hands in his, kissing your knuckles gently.
“You.. thought of me?”
“Yes. You’re..everything I wanted. You’re so beautiful and smart”- he smiled, cupping your face. Instinctively, you nuzzled your face into his warm touch. Without a thought you pressed your lips to his, eliciting a moan of surprise from him, wrapping your arms around the back of his neck and shifted closer.
Suddenly, the door flung open and Danny appeared, face shocked but after a moment he grinned, giving you a thumbs up and shutting the door. Josh rested his head on your shoulder, sighing.
“How about we lock the door this time?”- you chuckled.

This is it. This is the moment he decides you’re a complete nut job and sends you away.

Josh Dun X Reader
2.3K Words
Today had been a good day… but It was your last class of the day and your brain was absolutely sick of cramming in useless information. Since this was also your favorite class you pushed yourself to stay awake. As of this moment your mind was in another place not caring for anything until you heard your name called. “Ms.Y/N.... you will be working with Joshua on this assignment”  Your eyes scanned the room to find your teacher, then Joshua’s recognizable mess of red dyed hair. He looked at you wearing nothing but a friendly smile on his face. You were glad you could work with him this time around since he usually aced his photography projects . Although he seemed to be an anxious, fidgety boy on the outside you knew you could really find out a lot if you took time to talk to him. While juggling thoughts you began to plan parts of the project in your head until your teacher abruptly announced something. “I have assigned partners based on the limited knowledge I have about each of you from this year. Being things i've noticed about your personality or past projects. These are people i think you all will work well together. So let your creativity run wild with this final photo set and have fun.” She ended her sentence with a nod and a smile as she quietly walked back to her desk. You soon moved over next to Josh so you both could begin to brainstorm ideas, stting quite close to him so you could look at each other's ideas  “So i kind of wanted to make the theme for this kind of about space and like our hopes and dreams and stuff and our future and x-files themed stuff ...if that’s alright” His voice was soft but quick. You could tell he was a bit nervous. “That sounds like a great idea. Maybe we can work on some stuff after school since my parents are on a business trip. We’ll  be able to have the house to ourselves” You gave him a small grin to comfort him. He nodded and tore a small piece of paper from your notebook. “ Here’s my snapchat i guess. Just text me everything later. I’ll be out with Tyler and Jenna until around 5 so expect me then.” His voice was a little shaky. “Well Jenna actually invited me earlier so we’ll be  seeing each other again later actually.” The bell rang so you waved goodbye to Josh and headed out.
-
You walked home and changed into a simple gray crop top, black leggings, and jean jacket seeing that you were feeling a bit more confident than you had previous days, so you wanted to take advantage. As you were pulling on your jacket your phone lit up on your dresser, it lit up with a snap from Jenna
Jenna: So it looks like we’ve got a double date tonight
Y/N: Oh hush, I just met Josh and it's not like Taco Bell is anything special
Jenna: I’m not the person to be talking to. Taco Bell was Tyler’s choice and itll be fun.See u in 5 :)
You walked outside just in time to see Jenna pulling in. You opened the door to see her smiling like a kid in a candy store. “What could you possibly want?” I said in an overly sarcastic tone. “Josh is gonna appreciate that outfit, now won't he” she couldn’t help but laugh after she said that. “ Tell me again why i decided to be friends with you”
-
Jenna found a parking spot and both of you soon got out. When you got out of the car you heard Tyler yell. “ How’s my favorite girl!?” You turned on you heel to them running into each other's arms. “ They’re so dramatic, it's only been a couple hours since school.” Josh laughed as he looked at the two love birds.
-
. Everyone sat for a few minutes as you began to feel a bit unsettled“ Hey Jen, I’m gonna head to the bathroom alright.” she gave a concerned look “ Alright. We’ll be right over here.”.You headed to the bathroom and locked the door even though it probably wasn’t the best decision for a public restroom
**
. You looked in the mirror and watched yourself as you took the jacket off, staring at your wrists that were lined with scars and more recent cuts that you tried to avoid making. The constant fear that you would get worse than your current state and Jenna would find out haunted you so you never knew why you continued with the habit you abhorred so much. You and Tyler were her first priority, and when she found out Tyler wasn’t doing great you saw the pain in her eyes. You couldn't put her through something like that again. You proceeded to fix your makeup and wipe away the tears that fell, making sure you looked presentable so no one would suspect a thing.
**
You turned the deadbolt on the door and walked out with a smile, spotting Tyler and Jenna sitting together so you could only assume your spot was next to Josh. Tyler was the first to speak up. “So what are you guys doing for the photography project in Smith” You glanced at Josh. “ Well we decided we wanted to something based on ‘I Want To Believe’-” Tyler cut you off “ Of course Josh chose something from the X-Files.” He rolled his eyes. “ Well what i was going to say was that we wanted to something based on like space but also ‘wanting to believe’ in like your hopes and dreams” Josh said it with a happy tone. You could tell how excited he was.“That sounds sick...So, it sounds a bit cliche but Me and Jen are doing one based on love and trust” You and Josh simultaneously fake gagged.
-
“So my house i guess?” you said looking down at your phone as you sat down in josh’s car. The inside was very nice and you noticed that he had some drumsticks had been thrown in the back. Surprisingly, sparking even more of your interest in the boy “Yeah. We can just stop by my house so we can get my camera and all my fancy lenses.” The singular comment created a more silent ride that only contained the radio playing various old rock songs that you recognized alongside the rain pouring down outside. You stared out the window until the car stopped at a large house that had a minivan parked in the driveway. “ On 3 we’ll run inside. 1...2..3!” You opened the door quick and grabbed his hand so he could pull you inside where there was a strong smell of coffee. You waved sheepishly at the woman leaning on the counter.. You assumed it was his mom. “ Oh, hi honey. Who is this lovely lady you brought with you?” a small blush appeared on his cheeks “ This is Y/N, I’m going to go work on a big photography project with her. I’m also going to her house to work on it, if that’s alright.” “ Of course just be careful out there. I don’t want you guys catching a cold” Once she finished her sentence Josh ran up the stairs. You followed him into his room where you saw a large drumset in the corner along with various posters. “ Hey do you want another jacket. That one looks a bit wet.” You looked down to see that you were practically dripping. Without thinking you took off your jacket and set it on a nearby desk.
**
“Oh my god” Josh’s tone became extremely concerned and you looked at him and his eyes looked like he just got shot in the heart. You swallowed hard realizing what he was witnessing. You froze and didn’t think to cover up. “Why? Just like Tyler. Why? Every time I meet a good person” Those words came out of his mouth with a sincerity and his head fell in his hands, with that a thousand responses came to mind but all you could do was fall apart. You sat down in the chair behind you and your face was in the palms of your hands as Josh knelt in front of you. “ We don’t know each other well but all I can say is that things will get better. You just have to believe that they will. Don’t let anything bring you to this point...please” You looked up at him and his eyes met yours. You saw his look of desperation and you could see he cared.
**
“Here, put on this jacket and let’s head to your house we’ll talk there.” you pulled the baby pink hoodie over your head,he gave you a soft smile and you both headed downstairs. “ Hey. Mom. I might be staying over at Y/N’s. I’ll let you know later tonight.”
--
As you finished rolling into the driveway you led Josh into your house and immediately switched the heater on so the house could be a bit more cozy. “Do you want to order some pizza or something before we get started with all of this?” “Yeah, i’m fine with whatever you get.” You snatched your phone from the counter and called the nearest place for delivery making sure they didn’t have to drive far in the rain. “Y/N I want you to know that if you need me i’m here. I know what it's like and i can help. Y-You’re too.. beautiful to be doing anything like that” The room stayed silent for a few seconds. The void being filled with the sound of  your shoes stepping on the hardwood floor. You sat next to him and grabbed his hand. “It’s an extraordinary feeling knowing that I’m not alone.” Your eyes faltered between his eyes and the window. Finally settling into his innocent eyes, the edges beading with tears like that of earlier. Although this time, they were of joy knowing that he was helping someone find a purpose. The “moment” between the two of you was interrupted by the abnormally fast delivery man. Josh quickly rose to his feet and answered the door, handing the guy a $20 “Thanks man.Keep the change” Josh speed walked over so he could set the pizza down. “ i was holding the bottom of the box...it got hot.” His cheeks turned a light shade of crimson with awkwardness as he grabbed your TV remote and flipped on a movie. “So I have some stuff that we can use for backdrops and lighting in my room. I’ll set that stuff out later
-later that night-
“So go ahead and place that galaxy fabric down on the floor. Make sure its pulled tight so it doesn't have too many wrinkles. And then lay down.. Like that.. And hold the ukulele in your arms. Turn your head a bit so your glitter reflects and okay perfect i’ll take a few shots.. And noooow done with that shot.” Josh directed with ease as he sat on the top of the small ladder so he could get some overhead shots. The ideas spilled out of him with an ardent passion. The two of you both loved music and that is what helped with all of the ideas Josh was suggesting. You just went along with it, knowing that they would turn out beautifully alongside the other photos you and him had taken . “Hey you look a bit spaced out” Josh said as he laughed at his corny dad joke. You were glad to see he was becoming more comfortable around you. “Oh I’m fine. Getting cozy down here.” Josh assisted you in getting up as you both started looking through the pictures.”Crap! You need to call your mom it’s 7:00. You need to give her a heads up if you're staying over” “Oh you’re right, i'll be on your porch.” you sat alone in the dining room thinking. Something inside of you wasn’t right. You were beginning to fall for Josh and it was a fast fall. He was a sweet boy that had so much passion for life while also being so scared of it. He was just intriguing and you wanted more. To know more..to feel more. You snapped out of your dreamland when the door shut. “Good news! My mom says I can stay over. I just need to go grab some clothes and stuff for the night.” “Alright. I’m super excited.”
--
Josh walked in with a duffel bag and small tupperware in his hand. “Hey my mom made us some brownies for the night.” he said while dropping them on the counter. “Sweet but we need to get that last photo done. I thinks it’s the one of the both of us right?” he agreed “Yeah, good thing you kept your makeup on….. Oh i need to hang up the black sheet!” his feet thumped on the ground as he ran to the living room to get it along with some small thumbtacks. You held the sheet in place while he shoved the tacks into the wall. As you adjusted it he grabbed his snapback and a pair of drumsticks to tie together the whole ‘Space & Music’  concept.  You knew this photo would turn out the best but would undoubtedly be the most awkward. “Okay Josh so were going to want to face each other and press our foreheads together..” He turned his body to you and put his face to yours. “Yeah like that and now just close your eyes  with your sticks crossed” you gulped as the situation got a bit as it got more intimate for the two of you. You pressed the control for the camera and a string of flashes began going off “Y/N you’re a stunning girl, I’ve liked you since freshman year and i've fallen in love with you ever since.” He grabbed your chin and brought it to his face, lips pressing against yours. A smile appeared and you stopped the camera. His arms slowly made his way around you.

Long Time No See
pairing: joshxreader
a/n: Hi!! This is my first attempt at writing a fan fiction!! Please let me know if you enjoy it.
prompt: talking to an old crush, only to realize their crush doesn’t remember they’ve ever met.
disclaimer: I do not know Josh or any of the band members. None of what I wrote is accurate of who they are.
genre: angst??
“Aw man I missed this place!” Jake says with a sigh as he and the rest of the boys walk into a bar in their hometown.
The band finally had enough time off that they were able to visit their friends and family. This night the boys had chosen to visit an old bar they frequently visit when they are back home.
The boys quickly find a table and all sit down and begin talking about the old memories this bar has brought them. Out of the corner of Jake's eye he sees a familiar face sitting at the bar alone. He quickly nudges Josh and points towards the familiar face. Josh turns around to see what Jake is pointing at, and once his eyes catch y/n, all the old feelings that he thought were gone came flooding back.
Josh remembers seeing y/n for the first time walking down the hallway of their high school. y/n walked with so much confidence and beauty that once Josh's eyes caught sight he was unable to look away. He developed a huge crush on y/n that day, and anytime he would see y/n couldn’t help but stare and admire how effortlessly beautiful y/n was. Despite his massive crush he never was able to work up the courage to make a move and was always too shy to talk to y/n. It was only until y/n moved away for college Josh’s feelings went away.
Or at least that's what Josh thought.
But seeing you now Josh realizes that his feelings had never gone away but had only been postponed until the next time he saw you, which happened to be tonight.
Josh quickly turns his head back towards the table as a blush begins to rise up his neck and onto his cheeks. He stares straight out in front of himself with wide eyes until he hears Sam's voice.
“Oh my god, is that y/n?”
At that comment Josh quickly turns his head to look at his younger brother with wide eyes as the rest of the table quietly snickers at Josh's reaction.
“Be quiet Sam!” Josh says to Sam in a voice loud enough to cause him to wince and look back to make sure y/n hasn’t noticed him.
“You should go talk to her, maybe now you’d actually be able to ask her out.” Jake says while nudging twin.
Back in high school the theater department always did a play at the end of the year, this year in particular y/n was set on getting the lead in the play since it was y/n’s senior year and last chance to do so, and amazingly, after working hard preparing for the audition, y/n landed the lead. Josh that year had wanted to audition for the love interest of the lead character however after finding out that y/n had gotten the lead part he backed out and decided to audition as an extra. Josh was in the grade below y/n and knew he couldn’t play that part since it would mean he half to be so close to y/n
On the last night of the show, y/n had lost an earring for the costume of the lead character and was frantically running around backstage trying to find it. Josh witnessed y/n looking behind all the props and in all the rooms and decided now was his time to talk to her.
“Hey, are you okay?” Josh had asked timidly
“No! I lost an earring and can’t find it anywhere!” y/n responded out of breath.
“Here let me help you” Josh said as he glanced at the earring in y/n’s ear and began searching for the matching one.
After a few minutes of looking Josh found it on the table with the costumes for quick changes.
“Here, I found it!” Josh excitedly told y/n
“Thank you so much!!... I’m y/n by the way”
“Josh, I am an extra in scene three” Josh said as he began blushing wondering how he was able to say this much without stuttering.
Just as Josh was about to say something else, y/n was rushed onto the stage as the show began. Josh watched from the side stage in awe as y/n played the part perfectly. He hoped to be able to talk to y/n after the show and maybe even work up the courage to ask y/n on a date.
Later that evening once the show was finished Josh had tried to find y/n in the crowd of family and friends, but once he spotted y/n, y/n was already on walking out of the school. Josh had always regretted not running out the doors and asking y/n on a date, since after that show y/n graduated and moved away while Josh still had another left in highschool.
Josh glances back at y/n sitting alone at the bar and takes notice of the changes in y/n’s appearance . y/n’s hair is slightly longer and y/n no longer dresses in the same style like in high school. Despite the differences Josh still finds y/n beautiful.
“Second times a charm.”
Josh whispers to himself, as he looks back to his band and tells them that he is going to talk to y/n. They all let their mouths fall open as they watch him stand up and begin walking over. Despite all the confidence Josh has accumulated since he last saw y/n, in this moment Josh can feel nothing but nerves. And with one final breath to help calm his nerves, Josh taps y/n’s back. y/n begins to turn around and Josh can feel himself beginning to blush harder. And with a big smile Josh speaks.
“Hi y/n. Long time no see!”
“I’m sorry, do I know you?”

So uh, I know my lane in this fandom is primarily fan art, but what if I told y'all I was actually working on a little JoshxReader fic right now? Wouldn't that just be totally buckwild??

thought this would be the best place to ask, since your nonnies can find literally anything.
so, i’ve been trying to re-find a fic i read a while ago. i think it was either jakexreader or joshxreader. the reader and the boys go to coachella (i think?) and the reader gets high for the first time. i sorry i can’t remember much more. i don’t remember the exact title (although my brain swears it’s ‘ride the wave’ or something like that).
if you and your nonnies can help, i’d be very grateful. if you don’t really do that, i completely understand and thank you for your time. 😌

Studio Distractions
Request: Yes.
Warnings: choking, daddy kink, degradation, jealous!tyler, possessive!tyler, language
Pairings: dom!tylerxsub!reader, slight joshxreader
Prompt: 107 “Your ass is going to be seven different shades of red after that little stunt.”
Author’s Note: Thank you @glitterjoshua for allowing me to write this for you! I’ve been excited to dabble with the smut side of these fics, however this is almost like a test run seeing as I am using a smut prompt (which you can find on her page). If anyone would like a second part, I will gladly write it! I know san will lol.
--------
“Can we take it from the top one more time?”, You rolled your eyes at your boyfriend’s tendency to have everything completely perfect. He had been saying that same sentence now for the past fifteen minutes or so, and, quite frankly, you had been growing tired of it. Your body had been aching for some attention from your oblivious lover and watching how Tyler managed to put all of his effort into his music did not seem to make it any better.
Your eyes studied the way Tyler seemed to conversing with crew members, his face stern as his body posture was more serious or intimidating. Everyone knew it was crucial that orders were followed as your boyfriend had strictly given them. And, when they weren’t, Tyler was not a force to be reckoned with. However, at the end of the day, he would soften up and tell everyone how proud he was of how far they had all come. But with you? You were Tyler’s relief.
————-
Today was particularly a more stressful day, and you knew that Tyler was gonna take all of his problems out on you. So, why not cause a bit more trouble to add to his ongoing agitation?
People were rushing past you as you had weaved through the slight crowd of crew members and other individuals. Your left hand held a water bottle as the right held onto a hand towel, ideas of what to do next running through your head. You didn’t have much time to think as you had finally found him; Josh sitting at the set of drums. He seemed a bit exhausted with how much Tyler was wanting him to practice repeatedly. Therefore your plan would work perfectly.
“Josh, there you are! I was feeling a bit lonely since Tyler is obviously distracted by his work. You think you could keep me company? I did bring you these.”, Josh’s mocha eyes were fixed on the two objects you withheld in your hands, a soft and warming smile playing upon your lips. He took them from you gratefully with a small nod of acknowledgment, his lips upturning into a small grin, “Didn’t know my best friend’s girl was taking care of me now. What’s the deal, huh? Something’s up.. I can feel it. I’ve known you for a few years now, and I also know when you’re wanting to get under Tyler’s skin, as well.”
You knew Josh had caught onto what you were scheming by that playful glint within his eyes. However, that did not stop you from executing your reckless idea as you placed your hand on his upper thigh, slowly pushing it higher as Josh’s gaze then focused on the way your fingers tangled within the edge of his flimsy shirt, “(Y/N)-”
“Just follow my lead, drummer boy.”
————-
It was somewhat close to midnight when you and Tyler had crossed the threshold of the entrance into your shared suite. You could tell your plan worked by the prominent veins that stood out on his arms and the one bulging slightly from the side of his neck. Tyler’s hands were balled up at his sides as his stance seemed more wide and intimidating than usual.
Before you knew it, your lover had you pinned against the back of the hotel door, his mocha eyes burning into your (E/C) ones. His hand was wrapped around your throat and only applied the right amount of pressure to catch your attention. Tyler’s eyes were blown out, lust covering them as they somehow managed to grow darker as the growling in his throat never ceased, “What the fuck was that, huh? Do you like doing that? Parading around like a slut?”
Your words were caught in your throat at his questions. You knew how to respond, but you didn’t know how to find the voice and courage to respond. He was angry. You had gotten what you wanted.
Tyler’s grip on your throat tightened as you reached up and gripped his wrist in hopes that he’d let up. However, as he pressed his growing bulge against your clothed heat, his hand never let up and never did his glare as he snarled possessively, “Answer me.”
“N-No, Daddy! I’m so-sorry- I just wanted you-your attention.. please.”, Your voice was coming out in gasps as Tyler then realized he needed to let up a bit, you immediately gasping for air and coughing just slightly. Your grip on Tyler’s wrist loosened, “T-Ty, I’m so, so, sor-”
“I don’t wanna hear it from you, Princess. Get in the room. Now. Your ass is going to be seven different shades of red after that little stunt.”
… PART 2?
I hope it was what you expected! I was so nervous to write this. But, I really hope that you and others enjoyed this, as well, considering this is my first smut-ish fic. Feel free to leave feedback!

Love Song Drabbles: Raincoat
Love Song Series
There is a playlist on Spotify called ‘You and Me’. I have decided to start a loosely affiliated drabble series based on these songs - one for each song. This drabble is part of that series.
Welcome to ‘Love Songs’.
Raincoat
Word Count: 1573
Summary: Soulmate AU where if you aren’t with your soul mate you suffer from love frostbite. JoshxReader
Notes: This drabble is based on the song ‘Raincoat’ by Timeflies and SHY Martin.
Also, I know the pic of Josh looks like he has black lipstick... trust the story.
Tumblr media
You crossed your legs, the right over the left, and sighed. Your eyes glanced up to your boyfriend - if you could call him that. He was laughing with some other guys across the room, it was the first time this week you had seen him happy. You understood why. Your gaze wandered down to your own hands, that black leeching its way from the fingertips had made it all the way to your second knuckle now. You imagined the same black had wormed its way around your heart, and his.
It couldn’t be helped.
You were Sundered.
The black on your fingers, toes, and lips gave you away.
It was a fate you could never explain. Something that those who didn’t carry it couldn’t understand. The tingling and then numbness that followed the black as it changed your skin. The same thing that happened to your emotions. The numbness that seemed to fill your life.
You twirled your drink in your glass contemplating how you would explain to your mother the next time you saw her when the knife twist in your stomach caused your breath to catch in your chest.
Your hands clutched the edge of the table you were sitting at as you turned to look at the entrance of the club. You could see him, just beyond the frame of the door. He was paying for himself and the blonde that stood next to him.
Your soulmate.
Your breathing returned rapidly as panic spread through your limbs, the most vivid thing you had felt in months. Your right inner wrist began to burn and you rested your left hand over the black blotch that seemed to heat your skin from within.
Your eyes couldn’t leave him, you watched as he took her hand in his and they made their way into the main room of the only club that would allow the Sundered through its doors. As soon as his foot stepped past the door frame you saw it, that look of knowing on his face. He felt it too.
The blonde slipped away from his side, seeing someone she knew. But he remained where he was, his eyes locked with yours.
Time stopped. But only for a heartbeat.
You tore your eyes from his and looked at your boyfriend who was still laughing with his friends. You willed him to look at you, to catch your mental cue to leave. But he continued to laugh and talk with those around him.
The tightness in your chest pinched down harder and harder and you knew he was crossing the room to you now. His eyes on your back.
You stiffened when he came into view, coming up from your right side and standing at the other side of the table.
“Do you mind if I sit with you, Y/N?” His voice hadn’t changed. It was the same voice that haunted your nightmares and filled your best dreams.
“Of course not,” you try to feign disinterest, but you know he can see the shaking of your hands. “I see you’re here with Lauren.”
“Yeah,” his eyes glance to where the blonde is standing with her friends and settle on his own hands, the black fingertips resting on the table. “It’s just easy, you know?”
“I know,” you glance to where Travis is standing, still smiling, completely unaware of the pain you are feeling.
“It’s good to see you, Y/N,” his shoulders finally release some of the tension they had been holding.
“You too, Josh,” you let loose a shaky sigh and rub your fingers over the black mark on your right wrist.
“I just don’t know if I can do this anymore!” you yelled, finally saying the words out loud. “You’re gone all the time, and I’m always here alone and I can’t stand it.” The tears you had been fighting back were falling now, hot and full of the emotions you had both been fighting.
“Are we really doing this?” Josh’s voice was soft as the realization of where all your fighting was leading settled over the two of you.
“I think so.” You could feel your heart breaking. It had been wonderful in the beginning. The two of you together. You couldn’t have imagined someone fitting in your life so well, so completely. But he had. It was his absence from your life that was the problem. Since the fame of Twenty One Pilots had risen he was home less and less and the completeness he had brought into your life along with him.
You would rather he be gone all the time forcing you to learn to cope with the hole than the constant flitting in and out.
You would rather deal with the fallout of not being with him than the pain of him being around and then gone.
“If this is what you want, Y/N,” you could hear the pain in his voice, “then I won’t argue anymore.”
“I think that it would be best,” you watched as your fingers wrung the blanket in your lap.
“I guess,” he stood from the couch and crossed your living room to the front door, “this is goodbye then.”
You only nodded.
You fiddled with the half-full cup now as your fingers had the blanket then.
“You aren’t here alone, are you?” his fingers continued to lightly drum on the table top.
“No, I’m here with Travis,” you motioned with your head towards where he was standing about twenty-five feet away.
“Are you two...” Josh turned to look at him, his question trailing off when he saw the large black swirls arching over the man’s skin all the way to the elbows, down his jaw and neck.
“His wife died three years ago,” you jumped to explain. “They lived in an apartment down the hall. I kinda look like her, so it’s, you know…” you hold your hands in the air with a light chuckle, “easy.”
“Yeah,” he turned back around, his fingers returning to drumming.
Silence. Heavy, full silence. Your whole body hummed into that silence. It screamed at you. The burning on your wrist deepened.
“Do you ever think about that night?” his eyes were on the ground, studying some unknown spot.
“All the time,” you breathed.
The two of you laughed as you tumbled into your living room.
“I’m so sorry!” you steadied yourself against him, your hands on his chest. “I didn’t mean to hog the umbrella. Let me get you a towel.”
“Yeah,” he was grinning, “okay.”
You hurried out of the room, your skin flushed from being so close to him. You couldn’t stop smiling.
You changed into your own warm pajamas and grabbed an oversized shirt from college and a towel for Josh.
“Here you go…” you froze as you rounded the corner into your living room.
Josh had taken off his soaked jacket and shirt, leaving him topless in just his shorts.
“Wow-” he breathed but was cut off by a wince of pain as he grabbed his right wrist.
You hissed yourself at the scraping, burning across your own skin. When you removed your hand from your wrist your eyes widened. It was there in the thin skin over your tendons and veins, his name.
Josh
You look at him and his eyes were as wide as yours. He held out his wrist and on it, in your handwriting was your name.
“You forgot your raincoat, so I walked you home,” he smiled softly.
“I forgot it on purpose because I wanted you before this ever happened,” your fingers idly ran over your right wrist. Over the black that blocked out his name.
His eyes snapped up and met yours.
The knife in your stomach twisted again.
“You what?” his brows knit together.
“I forgot my raincoat on purpose,” you studied his face, there was something in his eyes you couldn’t work out.
He grabbed your hand in his and pulled you away from the table. You didn’t have time to react as he led you towards the hallway that led to the bathrooms. You couldn’t fight him. All you could do was focus on the feeling that was suddenly returning to your fingers as they rubbed against his. The heat was exquisite.
He pulled you into the dark hallway and pushed you against a wall. His hands were on either side of your head as he leaned in closer. You could feel the heat of his body as it hovered over yours.
“Say it again,” he breathed, “please.”
Your eyes searched his, seeing the same desperation in him that you felt in yourself.
“I forgot my raincoat on purpose,” you whispered.
His hands cupped your face and his lips pressed against yours with an urgency you were eager to rise to meet. The numbness in your fingertips, in your lips, around your heart melted away and for the first time in six months, you could feel.
Josh pulled away and rested his forehead against yours. “I can’t stop thinking about you, Y/N.” He closed his eyes. “I only agreed to leave because I thought you were only with me because of marks. I never would have left if I had known that you felt the same way as I did. I know what we were doing before wasn’t working, and I will gladly take all the blame for that if you would just…” he paused, biting his bottom lip. “If we could just try again.”
You slowly reached up and traced his jaw with your fingertips, the scratch of his stubble was the best thing you could imagine.
“Always.”

Oh my goodness can you please continue Cry Baby? It's one of the best JoshxReader fics I've ever read!
Ah thank you, it means a lot to me! Unfortunately I’m not going to continue it, I know it was close to the end but I don’t think I have the creative energy to do it anymore :(

MASTERPOST
When you woke the next morning, it was to the sound of a muffled melody. The room was cast in a fiery orange glow as the rising sun peeked in through the window. You sat up in bed, straining your ears to listen.
Noticeably missing, was Josh - the side of the bed he had been sleeping on was turned down, but you placed your hand on the sheets to find them cold.
The chill on the hardwood made your toes curl as you padded across it, first to your bedroom to pull on a pair of sweatpants, and then back to Josh’s room to slip one of his sweatshirts over your bare chest.
Once you were no longer naked, and a little more awake, you quickly figured out that the music was coming from under the closed bathroom door, and you stopped in front of it to have a listen.
The sound of Josh’s voice carried well into the hall, though he was keeping it quiet, probably for your benefit.
You placed your fingers over your mouth absently as you listened to the notes rise to a lovely height and then dip down again. You couldn’t quite make out the words, but you didn’t need to.
It shocked you enough to make you flinch when he opened the bathroom door abruptly - you had figured he was just taking a pause in the song.
When he spotted you, he jumped back, letting a curse fall from his lips. “God, I didn’t think you’d be awake yet - you almost gave me a heart attack,” he blurted through an exasperated smile.
“I’ve never heard you sing before,” you said, just above a whisper in the quiet space. “Your voice is so lovely.”
He looked you up and down for a second, his face turning peachy. “I haven’t wanted to for a while. Outside of school, anyway.”
You let a smile find your lips at the implication of his words, and it fell silent between you again. He was standing, posture unsure as he, undoubtedly, tried to gauge whether everything was still okay after last night.
The temptation to touch him was too much, especially once you realized he probably needed all the reassurance you could give. His skin was warm as you reached out and ran your fingertips lightly over the pink skin on his cheek. He careened into your touch, turning his head just enough to press a kiss into the meaty part of your thumb. The gesture made your chest feel tight.
“Come back to bed,” you suggested through a whisper and watched him suck his bottom lip into his mouth, teeth visibly pressing into the plush skin.
“I can’t,” he replied breathily as you took his chin between your thumb and forefinger. “I don’t have the time.”
You nodded back at him with a teasing smile. “Sure you do.”
“Don’t tempt me, babe,” he pleaded from low in his chest. “I have a show at noon.”
You breathed a laugh, threading your fingers through his hair. “Call me that again,” you said against his ear. It was you dragging your teeth over his earring that made him groan.
“Please - for the love of god - keep this energy for when I get back tonight.”
You hummed, pressing a kiss to the peak of his cheekbone. “Okay. Can I help?”
“Oh, yeah, for sure. Just wait for me here - it’ll probably help save time if you’re naked ahead of time-”
You smacked his shoulder, pulling a delighted laugh from his chest - always excited to say something stupid. “With the show.”
“If you’d like to, I’d love to have you. But you’re going to have to hustle and get dressed,” he instructed.
You scoffed. “Not the noon show-” You turned back towards his room and looked back over your shoulder. “No, right now I’m going back to bed.”
+++
You hadn’t put any thought at all into what you’d wear for the other two shows you’d be attending - you knew you could recycle the dress once on Sunday if you paired it with something else, but for Saturday evening’s show, you were stuck crawling to the only other person you knew whose clothes would fit you.
This time when you approached Kate’s house, you had come prepared with a milk-bone, which was good, because it was her huge dog that greeted you. When he stood up on his hind legs, he was able to look directly into your eyes through the glass on the door, his tail wagging.
You watched Kate round the corner into the entrance hall, wearing a knee-length black robe, the silk shining as she moved in the sunlight. She gave you a puzzled look, cracking the door.
“Sorry to show up unannounced,” you said with an insincere smile. “Can I give your dog a treat?”
She laughed at you, opening the door the whole way and letting you slip in.
“I’m going to assume that you’re not just here to make Yeti fat.” Her voice sounded a bit too knowing for your taste.
“You’re right! I’m also here to raid your closet, if you’ll let me,” you replied. “I need an outfit for the show tonight.”
She started down the hall and towards her room, ushering for you to follow. “You’re going again?”
You nodded, though she wasn’t looking directly at you. “Yeah, of course.”
When you got into her room, you sat on her bed, and you absolutely wouldn’t have noticed Jake if Yeti hadn’t instantly trotted over to him to sit by his feet. He was sitting at a little circular cafe-style table in the corner of her room, a mug of something hot in front of him.
You glanced over at him and were met with a cheeky little smirk.
“You - uh. Yeah, I’m going to help with the show tonight,” you said after you decided you weren’t ready to address that situation yet.
“Ah,” she started, and though she was facing away from you into the closet, you could hear a matching smirk through her voice. “I really only have clothes that match my style, which I would define as ‘mildly tramp’.”
You hummed contemplatively. “Let’s start with the most professional ensemble and then work our way back. Maybe something you’d wear to a wedding?”
“You don’t want something I’d wear to a wedding,” she teased but pulled out a few garments all the same.
“So, uhm. Am I interrupting something?” you finally chanced, sneaking a glance back at Jake.
“Not at all,” Kate replied, unhelpfully. “Now go try some of these on and tell me what you think.”
In the end, the only thing she owned that you deemed acceptable - and also even remotely your style was a thigh-length, black dress - form-fitting.
You stared at it dubiously in the mirror.
You’d have to put a coat over it, but you thought you could make it work.
“Are we going to talk?” Kate asked, a little smirk playing on her lips as she held her nails out to inspect them. They were unpainted but perfectly manicured.
You chanced a glance over at Jake - who was now sitting on the floor with Yeti nearly in his lap. He was working his fingers through the thick, white fur as he met your eyes.
“Yeah, let’s talk about it,” he agreed, flashing you his teeth.
Luckily enough, you found the moment more humorous than embarrassing, so you just scratched absentmindedly at the back of your neck.
“Well,” you started and then paused as you tried to figure out how much was appropriate to disclose. “I’m going to his show again tonight. And tomorrow.”
Kate huffed, feigning impatience. “Yeah, okay, but that doesn’t tell me anything because you’d do that anyway.”
You gave her a playful shrug. “That’s all I got for you right now. But I’ll tell you all about it when I’ve processed everything.”
“Ooh, shit. That sounds juicy.” Her eyes lit up as she spoke, making you chuckle. You turned your attention to Jake again then.
“And I’m sure you’ll hear all about it,” You flicked your eyes back over to Kate in an accusatory look. “One way or another.”
+++
That night you sat in the audience alone - well, not alone, but without Kate or Jake. Most of the seats were filled again, at least partially with faces you remembered seeing the night before.
The show was just as fun and entertaining as the last, except this time, when Josh walked out onto the stage at the end, he met your eyes for a moment, letting them linger before tugging a couple of his kids into a side hug and smiling wide for all the parents.
As soon as most people had dissipated, he met you at your seat, but before he could even open his mouth to greet you, a parent of one of the kids was shaking his hand. The dad poured his praises, thanking Josh for working with his daughter - you guessed maybe it was Alice, but you had nothing to base that guess on. Josh handled it effortlessly, charming as ever.
By the time the parent had left you, you and Josh were some of the last people still lingering.
“I’ve gotta grab my stuff backstage,” he informed you, tiling his jaw up in that general direction. “Wanna come?”
With a smile, you nodded an agreement and let him offer you a hand as you made your way out of the tight seats.
Backstage was infinitely more chaotic than it was when you’d last seen it. Set pieces were strewn about - not unorganized, but everywhere. You had to weave through them to get to where his backpack was propped against a folding table, costume accessories spilling off the surface of it.
“Do you want me to help clean up back here?” you asked, eyeing the messes. He hummed through a smile.
“Nah, I’ve got a system,” he informed you, and then after you gave him a doubtful look, he added, “Seriously. And until you’re directing a cast of children in a play that you produced, I don’t want to hear your objections.”
His teasing tone made you bite back a grin. “It’s amazing - really. I’m just offering my help.”
The backpack looked heavy as he slung it over his shoulder, holding the strap across his chest with both hands. “Then take me home,” he requested playfully, flicking his eyes to the back exit.
“Happily.”
+++
On Sunday, after the very last matinee show, you spent an hour helping him sort all the costumes - every tiny piece in a garment bag and labeled accordingly.  The rest, he insisted, he would work on during school hours the following day.
You suddenly wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him in for a hug, resting your temple on his shoulder and taking a moment to relish in the fact that you’d taken him by surprise.
“I want to take you out tonight - a congratulations of sorts,” you said as you leaned back far enough to see his cheeks flush a flattering peachy color.
“Really?”
“Only if you want to.” You paired your sentence with a casual shrug.
He flashed you a pleased smile. “Of course I want to. I’d love that,” he agreed.
You let him pick the place, and in the end, he landed on a hole-in-the-wall diner that he swore was the absolute best place to get pancakes in the middle of the night. Even though it was close to nine, you both sipped on coffee as you waited for your order.
“I can’t believe it’s over,” he said as you watched his fingers idly rub across the ceramic mug in his hands. “There was so much lead-up and drama that it feels weird for it all to be behind me.”
“It was really incredible, Josh. I honestly can’t believe that you pulled it off with all that went wrong.”
He looked up at you through his fan of lashes. He looked tired, but not uncomfortably so - just enough that you knew he worked his ass off.
“We pulled it off. I could have never done it without you,” he stated, charmingly earnest as always.
You huffed a humorless laugh. “That’s not true - If I hadn’t moved in, you’d never have lost your assistant in the first place.”
His expression melted away until his face was blank. “I-”
He paused, visibly trying to figure out how he wanted to word the next line out of his mouth. “That wasn’t your fault. I didn’t really know what was happening until it was too late to change it.”
“I know, I just. I’m happy that it ended up this way, I just wish it hadn’t almost derailed your whole production.” You could feel your features slip into something mournful, making him frown.
He was quiet for a moment before speaking again. “How do you even know about that?”
You hummed. “Kate told me. Jake told her.”
He glared off into the distance, but on him, the look was completely unthreatening. It was so out of place that it made you giggle.
“I’m not sure I like how close they are,” he grumbled through a smile he couldn’t hold back.
“Yeah, I hear you. I went to her house this morning to rummage for this dress-”
He cut you off, eyes raking over your form. “You look amazing, by the way.”
You gave him a pointed look and a little eye roll, though you had to admit you were flattered.
“Yes, well, Jake was at her house this morning. Petting her dog.”
His eyebrows lifted, lashes blinking a few times in surprise. After a moment, he cleared his throat and spoke again. “Well. I suppose you got what you wanted then, right?”
The irritation that was evident on your features was unwarranted - you knew that in your heart, but it didn’t stop you from letting out a childish huff.
“Yeah, but I didn’t think you and I would be-”
You cut yourself off just as his eyes flicked up at you over the rim of his mug.
“You and I would be what?” he asked coyly. You took a moment to admire the fact that his cheeks and the bridge of his nose were still a bit tanned despite it now being well into winter. A little like a bronze statue.
“I didn’t think you and I would be...a thing,” you finished simply, keeping your tone light.
He quirked an eyebrow at you, all too suspicious for your liking. “No?”
A puzzled look flashed across your face. “No,” you agreed. “Why? What does that mean?”
He took a too-long sip of coffee, holding your eyes just to fuck with you - you were sure. He cheekily bit his bottom lip as he figured out how to word what he wanted to say. “Nothing really,” he assured, though you were unconvinced.
You were going to press the topic further, but your thought was cut short when the server showed up with a tray of your food and another carafe of hot coffee. He made light conversation with Josh as he filled both of your mugs near to the brim, and you watched the steam rise off of it as you pondered which flavored syrup you’d drown your pancakes in.
The sound of the little metal cup of creamer being slid across the tabletop toward you got your attention, and your eyes lingered on Josh’s hand as his fingers brushed past yours.
“Cream, babe?” he inquired, though he was well aware of exactly how you took your coffee.
Your heart skipped a beat as you processed what he’d said. That was the second time he’d called you that in the months you’d known him, and it had the same effect on you this time that it had the last time. You met his eyes, catching his fingers with yours for just a brief second, forcing a mischievous smile to his lips.
You poured a bit of cream into your coffee and stirred it until it was a medium brown.
“You can’t help yourself, can you?” you asked fondly and watched him bite his bottom lip absently to try and keep his smile from stretching into a grin.
“Help myself from what?” His tone was cheeky, informing you that he knew exactly what you were talking about. It was evident that the two of you were playing a game now - something light and coy. You paused to take a bite or two of your food, happy enough to leave him in suspense for a moment longer.
“Calling me that.”
He hummed, low in his throat. “Is that not alright?”
“Doesn’t it seem a bit out of place?” You watched as he reached across the table to stab at a piece of your pancake, bringing it to his mouth and chewing it before giving his answer.
“Why would it? Are we not on a date right now?”
A look of genuine shock flashed across your features. Not caring how rude it was, you asked through a mouth full of food, “Are we?”
There was a long pause in the conversation as he ate, and you wondered for a moment if you had upset him until he looked back up at you. He was biting back a smile as he leaned back in his seat.
“Back before the musical, you were complaining about the cold - do you remember?”
You frowned in concentration as you searched your brain. “Which time? I pretty frequently complain about the temperature here.”
He breathed a laugh. “Yeah, you do. I thought you were going to freeze to death at first. But there was something you said that glued itself to my frontal lobe.”
You gave him a questioning look, prompting him to continue.
“You said, ‘if we move away from here, can we move somewhere warm?’.” He just held your eyes for a moment as your heart beat suddenly inched toward erratic. “We.”
You took a deep breath, suddenly feeling a little jittery and took another bite of pancake before you could say something truly stupid.
After a moment of silence to let you process, he spoke again. “So, I think maybe you knew we would end up being a ‘thing’, right?”
“I don’t know a whole lot, Josh,” you admitted, reaching out and placing your hand on his and lightly running your fingers over his skin. “But, I do know that since the moment I met you, I wanted to be close with you. You’re magnetic. I truly think you could have anyone you wanted if they listened to you talk - just once.”
Despite having been the one to start the whole conversation, a peachy pink tint surfaced across his cheeks and nose at the compliment.
Clearly not interested in continuing such an intimate conversation at a busy diner, he placed his palm flat on the table and asked,  “Are you ready to get out of here? I think if I drink any more coffee my heart might give out.”
“You could just switch to decaf,” you suggested, smirking at him as he squinted back at you like you had personally insulted him.
He stood and leaned across the table until his face was only six inches or so from yours. “I’d rather die, thank you.”
