I wish the anime hadn't cut this part out. It really highlights how afo presented himself as a savior to those who felt lost during the dawn of quirks which was how he was able to get such a huge following.

we see him do that during present day too as we see how he exploits those, particularly children, who society forgot about by taking them in and caring for them so they'll remain grateful and loyal to him.

When I was stuck only listening to HtN on audio (and overall consuming the book for the first time), there were times I would forget to save my progress for where I was in listening to on the little audio book tab. This made the audio go back to the most recent save every time I forgot to save progress

There was one bookmark on the audio that I ended up listening to repetitively while at the airport, and that was Ianthe saying, "Should we hold hands in girlish solidarity?"

This happened multiple times to the point where I started quoting it (in the exact tone of Moira used) out loud since it was simply stuck in my head on a loop. My brother would give me the most confused look while we were waiting at the airport together. It took a bit not to laugh every time I had to say the words, and he would just keep asking what's so funny (absolutely nothing)

I think the words still loop in the back of my head to this day. Why Ianthe quotes linger to be used I'll never know, but I feel so bad for my friends and family that have to endure me quoting tlt books whenever I see fit (or when I just need to get the Moira voice of characters out of my system)

Seeing people frustrated and sad and even angry about the recent MHA chapter (regarding Shiggy) makes me SO HAPPY about one of my plot points in STIL, because it directly addresses the thing that people are understandably frustrated about with Shiggy.

there's some funny shit in mtg worldbuilding that seems to me like it was more prevalent in the like early late aughts-early '10s era and i'm not sure if this is like actually the case or if it's just a combination of being more obscure than how they do their lore now (one article that they didn't really care about and then deleted by accident) and more conveniently accessible than how they did their lore in the like 90s (published on their website instead of a book or a magazine issue) that makes it just kind of more enticing and apparent but it does really Feel like something

I wish I could've gotten to know my great grandmothers. Like I'm only one generation too late for so many skills I want to learn, that are genuinely really useful, but have been replaced with polyester and machinery
