you and k were frenemies. there was no doubt in that.

well, you weren’t exactly enemies, you could have a conversation with him without arguing a couple of times, but most of the time you two would have a disagreement on the most random things you could possibly argue about.

“k do you even know the amount of salt your suppose to put in that?”

“yeah i do, because unlike you i know how to cook.”

“you fucki-“ “do they always argue like this?” yuma asked nicholas, who was on his phone. “yeah, it never ends when it comes to them so you’ll have to get used to it.” nicholas responded.

since then, nobody really questioned whatever you had going on with k. though, everybody thought you two would be a cute old married couple couple, especially the younger members.

you had gone out with k & the younger members to eat, you loved hanging out with them, the only thing that was stopping you from having fun was k’s dumb remarks that he totally didn’t make up on the spot.

“ahh im so full! i can’t eat anymore.” maki dramatically said as taki dropped his chopsticks on his plate. “can i take a box of this home with us? it’s too good!” taki said. k nodded.

“im gonna go to the bathroom really quick!” harua said as he got up and walked to the bathroom. you guys spoke before the waiter came towards your table, “are you guys ready to pay?” the waiter asked as you and k nodded, pulling out your wallets.

“why did you take your wallet out?” “because i’m gonna pay? what else would i take my wallet out for?” “im paying.” “no your not.” “yes i am.” “just let me pay.” “yn shut up i’m paying.” “no your not.”

taki and maki looked at each other and the waiter as the table was filled with bickering between you and k. taki grabbed his wallet and took out his card, silently giving it to the waiter, who looked scared out of his mind.

“just go.” taki mouthed to the waiter as he walked away, harua came back from the bathroom, confused on why you and k were arguing.. again..

you and k finally stopped bickering, looking at taki and maki, who had the most disappointed looks plastered on their faces. harua didn’t know what was going on, so he just sat there confused. “where did the waiter go?”

“here you guys go! have a fantastic day?” the waiter quickly said, giving taki his card back and walking away. you and k were shocked to say the least. “taki did you—“ “yes i did! because two very grown adults wouldn’t stop arguing over who’s paying!” taki sarcastically said as maki stifled a laugh.

“oh.” you said, slowly putting your card back in your wallet. k scratched the back of his neck in embarrassment. “at this point you guys are my parents.” maki jokingly said as harua agreed, “not even- they are like a old married couple.” harua said as maki and taki laughed.

your face had been hot as k put his head down in embarrassment. how could you and k, two grown adults start acting like children and then get humbled by taki?

eventually you all had left that restaurant (that you will probably never return back to) as the younger ones returned to their respective rooms, you were about to leave before k stopped you. “yn.” “yeah?” “you talk too much.” you rolled your eyes at that comment.

“shut up k.” “im just messing with you yn, you do understand that.. i never hated you, right?” k asked you, his hands in his windbreaker’s pockets. “i mean yeah.. i never hated you either k, you just started taunting me so i did it back to you.” you responded.

“i guess that’s my fault, to be honest i don’t want to be like this forever, i genuinely want to get to be close with you without arguing all the time.” k admitted. you looked at him, trying to see if he was lying, but there was no lying coming from his aura, he genuinely meant what he said.

“same.” you two were in complete silence for a couple of seconds before k spoke up. “how about this- i’ll take you out and we can start growing together, you know?” you choked on your saliva.

“like a date?“ “if you wanna call it that, then yeah, like a date.”

who would’ve known you’d start going out with the same guy you’d argue with about everything.

halloween. the one night a year k could let go, knowing the entire pack can be wolfy for the night and have it pass as halloween costumes. he was wearing a sunshine city athletics t-shirt, claws, teeth, and ears out. the silver hair framed his face beautifully, tanned skin and cute lips sipping on a beer. he was cuddled up to you, taki, maki, yuma and harua screaming the lyrics to “ghostbusters” on a table, nicholas controlling aux while fuma looked like he was going to have a heart attack in the corner and ej…hid? jo was sitting on the chair diagonal to the couch you and k were, and in the mix of people you could recognize were random people, like shotaro from your bio lecture. the fact k was so calm calmed you, him talking sometimes but for the most part just content closing his eyes and knowing the pack was taken care of for tonight, including knowing whenever he heard those boys howl, people just assumed they were a bit…too into the halloween spirit. that might’ve been one of your favorite nights in your relationship so far, a snuggly k and the boys being the boys. at the end of the night, you thanked them with a wonderful table rendition of cannibal by kesha.

you close the door of k's house with a bang. you flinch at the loud sound it makes. k looks back as well, a little confused.

"are you alright?" he asks, stopping in the hallway.

you weren't quite alright, homework, hobbies and the pressure of doing well in school were weighing heavily on you.

k didn't know a lot about this pressure you felt, but he knew there was something up. he figured if you wanted to talk about it you eventually would.

"i am so exhausted," you mumble, "sorry for slamming the door."

"let's go inside and sit down, you look like you're about to fall apart any moment now." he half-jokes. he pulls the door open and waits for you to enter the living room before closing the door behind you.

"sit down," he tells you, "i will make some tea."

you plop down on the couch, your head resting on a pillow. k likes having you over to hang out and rest. k knew it was the only way for you to get a break from everything.

"everything okay?" he shouts from the kitchen, checking up on you.

"if you don't hug me right now i might fall apart," you reply with a chuckle.

"i'll make the tea as fast as i can!" you laugh at his remark and sink into the couch. all your worries seem to fade away when you enter this house.

"tea is done! i'm here to hug you so you don't fall apart," he says. two mugs of tea are in his hands as he quickly jogs over to you.

with a clink he sets the mugs on the table and he immediately sits down next to you.

you hold up your arms, waiting for his hug. k's arms wrap around your waist and you wrap your hands around his. the embrace warms you up and you feel light, like all the pressure has been lifted up by k.

"better?"

"better."

You were confirmed as a debut member in today’s episode. Hurray!

We all knew, and you also probably knew, that you WILL debut. After all, we all know the “will not debut” is just for drama. Haha! But I guess hearing it officially being announced on the show made me feel strange. It felt new, and I felt so relieved.

Thank you so much for not giving up on your dream, K. If you had, I would never have met such a strong and wonderful man like you. Someone who inspires me to reach higher, who motivates me to keep running, and most of all, someone who gives me fun and enjoyment to battle various negative emotions.

You sat in the library, waiting for Riki to arrive. When he got there, you opened your bag and got your work out as he did the same. The table was quite covered with all the schoolwork you needed to cover with him. Leaving your bag open, you made sure to tell the boy, "If any of your belongings fall into my bag, feel free to grab them, no hesitations." He just nodded and you smiled at him.

About an hour had passed, half of your session over already, and Riki seemed to be in his own world as you moved on to the next topic. You rapped your pencil sharply on his textbook, startling him back to reality. He apologized sheepishly as you chuckled at his behavior. "What about this chapter is confusing you?" you asked, returning your attention to the statistics papers in front of you two.

"Ah... all of it together? I know some individual concepts, but once you put in all these words together, like discrete random variables and the Z-score, I get lost."

"Understandable. Let me get some notes out, I think I have an explanation written somewhere." You rifled through your bag, looking for the probability notes that had come out of your binder. Huffing in frustration, you dug further, unable to find them, when suddenly you felt a warm hand on yours. Looking up in surprise, you see Riki holding your hand in his own. "Is everything alright, Riki?"

He smiled, a bit abashed, and brought your hand up to the table. "You said if anything of mine fell into your bag, to grab it, no hesitations." He laughed as you withdrew your hands from his, bringing them up to your face to hide your embarrassment.

When you collected yourself enough to look at him, you mumbled, "Gosh, Riki, you're such a sleaze," not meaning a word you said.

He feigned confusion, innocently replying, "But I was just getting my things out to study statistics." As you rolled your eyes, he laughed again.

"Go back to your textbook, Riki."

a/n: this was such a great concept in my head and i have no idea how to fully properly convey it in any human language i speak

a/n: this took so long for me to post 😭😭

it was the end of your lecture, and you were preparing to go to your study group. it started out with just your friend and you, but gradually the group started to grow.

more boys and girls joined, and that's how you ended up meeting k. your major was the same as k's, so it was natural that you would see hem very often.

"hey, where are we going today?" k asks you as you stand up and pack your bag. he swings his bag over his shoulder, ready to follow you.

"go with me?"

"as long as you hold my hand," he says flirtatious, and smirks. you give him a weird look, and walk past him to lead the way. he sheepishly follows.

"hey!" you greet, as you put your bag on a desk. the group greets you back with a smile. before you can pull the chair away from the table you see that k has already done it for you. he motions for you to sit down.

you thank him and sit down. the group looks at k and back to you, confused.

"are you flirting with me?" you ask, turning around to face k.

"you finally noticed?" he starts. "i thought it was pretty obvious when i told you to hold my hand."

you can feel your cheeks heat up, and before you know it you’re dragging him out of the room and into the hallway. you can feel the eyes of your friends on your back.

“why are you all flustered?” k asks with a sly smile on his face.

“because you’re flirting with me in front of everyone?”

“you want me to stop?” he asks. you don’t reply, it wasn’t like you didn’t like k, you were just a little embarrassed at the moment.

he notices your reaction and starts talking again.

“if you want it to stop, go out with me.” he says. your eyes widen, and something changes. why are you so flustered right now?

“sure,” you reply after giving it a thought, “you have my number so text me anytime.”

you didn’t know where the sudden confidence came from, but you did know one thing, you liked k and he liked you back.
