Hello again kaisooists 🐧🐻 Little ole me has stumbled across something interesting 👀

Remember back on April 1st in 2016 when the news broke that ji and krys were dating and chahn yall posted this really odd and cryptic “headline” on his Instagram?

This randomly popped into my head the other day now that I’ve been missing kadi and thinking about them lately.

I remember at the time it was posted, everyone in the kaisoo tag was trying to decipher what he meant, if it was supposed to be an April fools joke or if it had anything to do with the dating news. If I remember correctly he’d posted it either right before or shortly after the news broke and was confirmed by Es Em.

So I decided to go over to chahn yall’s insta again to see what the comments on the post were bc it’s been so long and I was curious if anyone wrote any kaisoo related under it. But when I went to look for it, I noticed that it had either been archived or deleted.

I screen recorded for proof, the right side is hidden for privacy due to some ppl’s insta screen names being visible since I follow him. The dates of the post are magnified on the left side:

I can definitively say that it had been left up on his Instagram for months after kxk and I believe even up til they “broke up” but I’m not sure when or why it was removed.

Something that was also peculiar to me is that besides that screenshot from the tumblr above, it was INCREDIBLY difficult for me to find this post anywhere on the internet. Even chahn yall bias pages that repost his Instagram posts did not have this post anywhere to be found.

I searched for 20 minutes and was only able to find this screenshot here on tumblr and on a random Russian page:

There’s two things I want to mention here.

First I will explain the picture a bit more for those of you who may not know.

The mosaic picture in chahn y’all’s post is of KS in his role as Kang Woo for the drama “It’s Okay That’s Love”. In this drama, the main character Jae Yeol (played by Jo Insung) suffers from undiagnosed schizophrenia and befriends Kang Woo. But as his illness worsens it’s revealed that Kang Woo is not real and is a hallucination, representing Jae Yeol’s younger self. When Jae Yeol begins treatment, Kang Woo doesn’t appear to Jae Yeol anymore .

I don’t speak Korean but I think the correct translation of the headline title in the post would be “Actually, I’m hallucinating” indicating that he’s the one hallucinating and not Jae Yeol. Since his role in the drama was him as a hallucination it wouldn’t make sense to admit to being a hallucination.

At the time I initially thought “okay, maybe it’s some sort of lighthearted April fools joke and a playful jab and ks”. But as I thought about it, the joke didn’t really make much sense bc we already know after watching the drama that ks isn’t the one who was hallucinating.

Then after reading theories and thinking about it more, I thought it was weird to post that on the same day the kxk news came out. Which leads me to my second point: I do think it has something to do with kxk and here’s why.

As we all know egg sew had a concert that day, secret night. When the pictures came out ji looked like he’d been up crying all day and ks appeared to have tears in his eyes. They also were super awkward with each other and it seemed like ji looked apologetic about something and ks wouldn’t look at him. This was after a long period of not really interacting or showing skinship and of course all those pann and dispatch gay couple blind items disappearing.

So it made me think more about the insta post, how he said that actor D admits “actually, I’m hallucinating.” We all know that ks and chahn yall have a close friendship, and it seemed like the kxk scandal caught both ks and ji off guard, almost like they both found out this media play was happening on the same day, hours before the news went out. Was this post supposed to be a hint at ks’s feelings about the news breaking? Did kxk come as a surprise to him and make him feel like the entire relationship between him and ji was actually what wasn’t real to everyone else now, aka a hallucination?

It might be a reach, but I can’t think of any other reason behind why chahn yall would delete/archive that specific post but not any of the other ones. Unless you’re a kaisoo supporter the joke would seem to have no relation to the kxk scandal, so it’s really suspicious that it disappeared.

I also can’t say for sure, but I also wonder if SM has something to do with it being gone and almost no trace of it online or on fan archives. I noticed that after the kxk “break up” kaisoo went back to their own ways, but little by little different kadi blogs were deactivating and some fansites were disappearing abruptly. I’m talking hardcore kaisoo blogs and fansites that I would have never imagined would disappear (cuddlekaisoo, alvabear, kaiser-dolly, 8812 just for example, some of their posts are even hard to find here on tumblr). To this day I still am seeing things like “so-and-so-deactivated09122018” here on tumblr throughout the tag thinking to myself like “omg, this person was a super big kaisoo supporter and they deactivated? I would have never imagined..” 😶

Of course things happen, ppl move onto other things and maybe the second scandal with jinnie has something to do with it too, but it’s all just very odd to me. I’d love to know other ppl’s opinions about this too if you’re interested!🩷

Hi can I ask something? Um, I think I've read an article that sa that Kai and Do have private date and like to go to japan because their privacy is very high. But why doesn't Kai seem to really understand Japan when they often travel to Japan? Do they rarely travel abroad now? I'll include the link I asked for, but not in English. Oh, and looks like yesterday in Japan they were also able to provide fancam videos which I thought was not very private there anymore?

Kaisoo go a lot to Japan indeed.

And I've mentioned this a lot in this blog since 2019. That there were rumors they have a house there and we shared it here.

And you should know that Kaisoo aren't a secret couple anymore. Most Japanese and Korean fans know about them. And somehow they don't care anymore sharing anything about them because they never did way before when Exo were still as relevant as these new rookies now, because they cared about the band's reputation and never wanted to expose them and no one has any intention to do so even the haters and sasaengs. Because that comes with heavy consequences and penalties from the Law and SM entertainment and Kaisoo themselves ofc they're gonna sue them and no one wants to lose money being sued by two famous Kpop idols and their huge company and the Kpop industry lawyers.

Secondly, Kaisoo go a lot to country side where mostly Old people live, so that they won't be followed around.

About the language, why bother learning a language when your partner masters it and saves you from the headache of ordering food in Japanese and Booking rooms in hotels in Japanese, and asking tour guides in Japanese and reading instructions in Skiing sites in Japanese etc...

Alexio’s take on Waxing & Waning: Two Moons by at1stsoo (Nov 2020)

I just wanted to say I finished reading Waxing & Waning: Two Moons. I absolutely love it! I was looking for a non au and at1stsoo’s popped up. I’m really really really glad I read it. Definitely one of my favorite writers. I really appreciate the effort in putting so much detail and of course the ‘evidence’ in the notes section.

I find myself replaying the scenes in my head even though it has been a while since I read it. While reading, I spent my time crying and laughing from the painful love that they had to face. How the author portrayed Jongin’s disappointment towards Kyungsoo, the on and off detachment he did to him… the pain that Kyungsoo had to face because of his sense of duty to protect the person he loves the most.

There were many moments that I think I will really remember for a long time.

A scene I will really remember for a long time is the noreabang scene in the chapter of Warm But Choppy Winds. I love that setting for 2 main reasons - Chanyeol’s “Damn, you can lead a man to dick but you can’t make him suck, I fucking swear.” HAHAAH THAT WAS FUNNY but boy little did I know the tears of laughter would quickly change to tears of agony. I could feel my heart getting pulled out of my chest as Kyungsoo sang. I really have to commend you on the choice of song that depicts their relationship. I’ve been listening to Secret Love Song ever since, now even HAHAHA

Or both scenes with mama soo.

First in the chapter Moonless Nights.

As a fan of Kyungsoo, this is a reminder that idols have their blood families who they grew up with. And to see that slight dependence that Kyungsoo has towards his mother, shows that he really loves and looks up to her for advice. It is the feeling where you have lost all hope in what you are doing, and so you go back to that one person who gave them to you. I think it’s beautiful.

The imagery of the plucked peach in the chapter of The Eye of the Storm, is a lovely addition because it feels very secret. Firstly being in that setting and hiding away from papa soo and this happens before meeting Jongin. I know it is something that Kyungsoo will take dear to heart. Mama’s boy after all, right?

And of course the scene with Jongin and the VP in the chapter of Seriously, The Longest Night. To see that Jongin has in him the ability to act actively on his love for Kyungsoo by initiating to talk to the VP, to openly declare he loves Kyungsoo.

The ending… I really love the ending. Well, the first and happy ending that they have. BuT my heart stopped when I saw that that was the FIRST of 2… I was really happy initially. I forced myself to read on the second ending… which has me in a mess… 5 YEARS I screamed. I was sad and a tiny bit upset that they didn’t make it, but I respect at1stsoo’s artistic direction. I am glad that my heart wrenched because it meant the author did a really good job in making this very slow burn. I am a sucker for angst, but to have angst in a non au is also fine bUt this was 5 years later. That future for EXO is still unknown and to know that there is a possibility that kaistal lived, as a kaisoo shipper makes me feel so upset.

I have yet to read Orbiting Bodies. I’ve read the first chapter of course, could not help myself to see what the reaction of Jongin would be upon reading the letter.

I got into kpop back in summer of 2015 when a YouTuber I really liked covered Loser by Bigbang and then I looked into them, i got into exo in winter that same year, I think around the time the Lightsaber MV dropped.

My favourite MV is a tough one, they have a lot of good ones, but I think I might like Lotto best? For era idk if that counts as one but the Die Jungs concept photos are my absolute favourite!!! They go so hard!

My favourite songs are Don't Go, Peter Pan and Run (the live version where Ksoo changes up the highnote, tickles my brain so well). Their best song is El Dorado though (so honourable mention because it makes me want to go on an adventure)

My favourite Christmas songs are Miracles in December and The First Snow, regulars in my Spotify history in December.

My biases have to be Kaisoo, though I love Ksoo a wee bit more. My ult of ults!! Idk if he counts but my bias wrecker would probably be Luhan. Pretty sure I'd ult him if he were still in Exo.

About gifting my bias... I'm note really sure? I've been thinking since I've gotten that ask and I can't really think of anything... Maybe some nice kitchen utensils? Like these super cool wooden ones? My dad likes them and Kyungsoo is such a dad coded person so yeah, probably that.

I'd bring Vanillekipferl to the party. They're a typical Austrian type of Christmas biscuits and they slap.

I remember talking to a Korean fan from whom I purchased a ticket for concert in seoul, we messaged on bird app and then we met in person in seoul and sort of hang out, she was super nice and Chanyeol was her bias and I shared that I was kaisoo biased and that I sort of believe they are dating and she to my surprise was unfazed she was like “yeah they are definitely together” “ they are so cute” something like that and it was after kaistal too so that was nice to hear. I also witnessed them(kaisoo) being super clingy and almost intimate on stage, like no fancam can reflect the level of their closeness and it’s like there is bubble around them, they are jn their Own world quite literally, saw it at concert I was in the standing section in the very first row, where the metallic stands are so they were so close, from that moment on I became a believer, before I was just shipping them but man they are so in love I cannot

And I have a lot of stories about kaisoo that I really want to share that's why I'm thinking of meeting more ppl who know about Kadi to share those infos and stories with to be able to see if we have same info or we could add e/o more info!
