G-witch AU Infodump

Enabled by @werewolfcoochie @marchdancer @sharpdistances @germanpillow @kallista-dragonsoul and @iwantthatdickgrayson here is me infodumping about random shit in my G-witch AU:

After being rescued by Ellyus, El4n takes on a new name and identity— one he would choose for himself— though Shin Sei doesn't quite have the means necessary to turn his face into something else, nor does he remember what his original face is supposed to look like anyways.

Anyways, his new name is Nary, bc “nary” means “nothing, none” and he's basically someone who has nothing, starting from scratch with a clean slate and even before that he had nothing. Also it's a reference to @stil-lindigo 's fantastic poem-comic here and @telamont 's fic may the little garden where you smile, last forever since I read both of them at roughly within the same timeframe and they double-teamed up on me in terms of brainrot. I am not sorry for this.

I'm still struggling over his new surname however, though Frey is a temporary placeholder— as a reference to the goddess Frigg whose divine domains included clairvoyance and prophecy, and though Nary himself is no prophet his love interest is so hmmm. Does Ellyus count as an Odin figure? I'm not well-versed with Norse mythology. (what El definitely is is a trickster/prophet/fey type character)

Shin Sei in this AU is comprised of the friends and families of the slaughtered Vanadis researchers who want justice/vengeance for their fallen loved ones— and so support Prospera in her schemes. There's also mercurian folk in there but yeah.

Ellyus gets his mother and Shin Sei to fake/develop a new identity and backstory for Nary/El4n. It's up to him whether he comes back to Asticassia but I like to think he does.

He dyes his hair the same colour as the woman who's presumably his mother, the lady with the birthday cake? Yeah? The same brown.

He still wears soft earrings bc this analysis of El4n's gender thing lives in my head rent-free. He also wears a lot more feminine clothing because he can. (EDIT: added the link that I forgot to add bc fucking hell I knew I was forgetting smth)

He has a new hairstyle. I actually have a design in mind but since I can't draw right now... lemme dig up my gallery in hopes that there's something that looks like it—

(I'm not sure if I could share these, as far as I could track these were drawn by the original artist of the comic this character is from, I eventually seek to replace these w my own drawings when I can.)

He probably ends up taking the surname of some Shin Sei employee, though argh, it fucking pains me that we know practically nothing about Shin Sei!! Who's Godoy and what does he even do?!

The Plant Quetta attack does not happen. There will be another attack to replace it, alright, but it's been moved down the timeline. I don't know when it'll be or by whom, but it happens on Earth, while Ellyus is there. Why is he there? Dunno, probably some GUND-ARM related reason. He's one of the main mechanics of Aerial after all, and someone who's heavily involved in the production of GUND-prosthetics.

Speaking of Ellyus' engineering work, Shin Sei did develop the drone technology Prospera mentions in the witch trial— it's just that Ellyus is the one who created it. Maybe he could also be present in the trial room? His presence wouldn't really help against Delling but hey, it's the thought that counts. Besides, he (and we the audience) already knows Miorine will come to save the day.

Delling is fucking dead. No mercy for the fucker, he probably dies in the same attack that lethally wounded Ellyus? Or perhaps after that, in another incident. Vim Jeturk is accused of the murder, and subsequently silenced by Prospera and/or Shaddiq.

Shaddiq takes the presidency. Ellyus left behind pre-recorded video messages tailored to each recipient, he sat down and recorded them before he died, set to automatically be sent to the ppl he wants in the Know after his funeral, and Shaddiq and El4n's messages include the entire backstory, basically, and so Shaddiq knows about Quiet Zero and who it's for. He seeks out Prospera and basically proposes an alliance— much of their goals align, he can use QZ's might to strong-arm favorable negotiations for Earth, he knows who QZ's for and realizes that Ellyus can be “alive/free” again like Ericht since he's deduced that the night Ellyus went missing from his hospital room and came back dead was actually him being uploaded into a GUND-bit.

(It's part of Ellyus' machinations, to protect Miorine from Prospera, to bridge Shaddiq to a strong ally who shares a lot of his goals, and... yeah. Fuck Spacians, this alliance is gon be a bulldozer.)

Shaddiq does not ally with Peil.

Peil will meet a karmic end. I don't know how yet, but El4n and El5n are involved. Anyways, that'll probably happen during or after the struggle for the Benerit Group presidency.

Guel actually learns something beyond “daddy good”, dammit.

Miorine and Prospera have a... complex, shall we say, relationship. Prospera holds back from roping her into revenge unlike in canon— mostly because of Ellyus' pleas to not let GUND-ARM be ruined/soaked in blood, partly because Miorine is the one who resurrected and kept true to GUND's ideals of medical research and stuff. Prospera hates her bc well, Delling's daughter, but on the other hand... a successor of sorts to carrying the GUND research torch. Miorine doesn't trust her, no, buuuut she still can't deny that together w Shaddiq they're... actually doing decent work. (Again, unlike in canon LOL)

Suletta's off to the side having her own Identity Journey. The video message to her also explains her origins and everything, so she now knows she's a repli-child. I don't know what I'll do with the journey proper but I want the eventual outcome to be: “I am not Ericht, I was never a Samaya and that's just fine. I'm Suletta, and the name Mercury is mine in a way it isn't for mom. I still love you, mom, Aerial/Eri too, but I am a Mercury and I'm proud of that. I still love you but I'm me and you're not my entire world.” kinda deal. Basically, independence, loving her family on her own terms.

No Plant Quetta means no tomato paste and no divorce! Huzzah! (I mean, another attack still happens but due to Ellyus' and Miorine + Earth House's influence Suletta focuses more on disaster relief and evacuation and stuff.)

Adding a new layer to Ellyus' non-linear time thing (I've posted about it, I've linked to it before in another post, it can be found in his character tag), he's allowed to make phone calls to One (1) person in the past. That person happens to be Jeru Ogul, aka Shaddiq's child self, way before he's learnt to put up barriers around his heart.

(Ellyus was never meant to be human. If the G-witch cast proper is comprised of 3D beings and us the audience 4D, he'd be like, 3.5D. That's why he's allowed time shenanigans by me. Only as far as I allow it, though. He's a plot device, a robot w its guts exposed. I have also posted about this before. I won't link to it here bc well, I already have before and ppl didn't seem all too interested in the makings and structure of his character. Meta-narrative fuckery ftw.)

The calls are sporadic, but kid Jeru comes to hold this mysterious friend person in the phone very dear to his heart. Their non-judegmental and gentle encouragement was one of the things that kept him going in those days.

He's buried the memory now, in the deepest layers of his heart, under twenty vaults, along with the tender hurt and angry child self that was Jeru Ogul and everything that it represents. It fuels him, it's his impetus, but it's hidden, carefully so.

It's a surprise to the both of them when they find out.

(basically, Doylist reason was that I needed a narrative tool strong enough to break through his walls and allow him to be changed for the better, to stop having tunnel-vision, and Ellyus became the narrative device responsible for that task)

This development allowed for Shaddiq to be more proactive and open. To the point he might actually ask for Miorine's support/help during the competition for the presidency. I'm still contemplating it.

I don't know what I'll do with Dawn of Fold yet.

Not the Space Assembly League, really.

Arianna - Halfling Fae Druid

My very first D&D character. 💖 

I remember her animal companion was a very adorable dire otter with a poisonous bite...don’t ask. 🙈

She fell in love with a rather handsome gnome fighter. 

Kiara Taelie - Drow Bladesinging Bard

My character for an Underdark campaign. 

She plays the flute, which served as her secret way of worshipping her deity, Eilistraee. 

She became first daughter of her house when she had to defend herself from her older sister, whose devious ploy to remove Kiara permanently failed. 

Mirella Tealeaf - Sun Elf Dervish 

Her real name is Ruawyn Nyath, but she changed it after running away to join the halfling caravans. 

Her family is well known and respected as mages, but poor Mirella was the black sheep of the family since she has no talent for magic...can’t even cast a cantrip. 

She fell in love a sun elf noble, who happened to be the leader of the adventuring party.

Whisper - Moon Elf Spell Thief

Her real name is Laera Amastacia. Now you see why she goes by a cool and mysterious nickname? No one would take her seriously as a competent thief if she went by Laera!

She found out she could steal spells from other mages while studying magic at her local university. After a huge dispute with her family, she left to go make big money with her new found abilities.

She’s a heavy smoker and she loves to party. 

Tiana Nyavel - Sun Elf Mystic Theurge

Despite being an elf she’s a devout worshipper of Mystra. 

She can be a bit reclusive at times...and at times, I mean locking herself up in her tower for months and conduct magical experiments.

She’s vegetarian and detests any kind of cruelty towards animals.

Keilwynn Taelie - Drow Arachnomancer

Another character for an Underdark campaign and she’s the younger sister of the bladesinging bard up there. 

She’s a bit more of a traditional drow female, except that she’s a wizard who really loves spiders instead of a cleric of Lolth.

She’s true neutral which is strange in the Underdark.

Amala Starbreeze - Moon Elf Bladesinger

This is my most beloved character. In fact, I’m still play her in an Epic Campaign.

She is a Chosen of Mystra, but that’s stop her from having a good time!

Even though she’s a leader of a country, she still finds excuses to go on adventures. These adventures tend to be grand in scale and couple possibly doom the world if not stopped, but heyyyyy at least she’s having fun being a hero! 

Vivatrix, Harlot of Oblivion - Succubus Assassin

Ahhhh the characrer that inspired my blog’s name! And she’s huuuuuuge thot that loves to tease mortals.

She’s one of the most feared demons in the Abyss since she’s known to take out rivals for her mother, Malcanthet. 

Buuuut she found her way to the Material Plane and quite enjoys having the freedom to do what she wants...which can be really wild as well as dangerous.

Adriel, the Angel of Fury - Fallen Angel Bard Assassin

She was formerly known as the Angel of Bliss in the court of Sune, and enjoyed serenading mortals with her golden violin. 

But when she couldn’t bring bliss to a few mortals who suffered at the hands of men, she started to look for other ways to help...

Unfortunately, this caused her to fall from Brightwater and now she serves Mask, and runs an assassin’s guild specializing in helping ridding the world of vile men.

Kallista - Tiefling Conjurer 

She is a wizard that specializes in the Conjuration and many planar friends from celestial elephants to hellish fiends.

She is very shy and hates being the center of attention.

Her master is also the man that adopted her from the orphanage. He was impressed that she could summon a celestial monkey without training, so he took her under his wing.

Valencia Greta De Franco - Human Monk Ninja

She was given up to the Temple of Ilmater when she was baby and trained hard as a monk, but she was kicked out when she kept questioning their faith.

She came across a master in ninjutsu and after a scuffle she started to train under a new master.

She eventually went back home to figure out who her real family is...and it turns out that she’s nobility! Who would’ve thought. 🤣🙈

Yulia Shadowfang - Human Ranger Assassin 

She grew up on the streets of military country run my the Church of Bane, which is not very pleasant for anybody living there.

She was recruited into the Black Network when it was found out that she not only killed her father, but did in a way that cleared her of all suspension. 

She eventually fled her home and started to offer her services to the enemies of her country, selling information and killing any Black Network agents she crosses.

Starfinder Characters

Alara Korden - Dorjite Operative (Captain)

This character is unique since the race is completely made up just for me. I challenged my hubby to make me a space thot race, and ho boy he delivered. 

She can change her form to look like anyone and has empathy. Which is very useful as an operative and a space thot.

She has a soft spot romantic vids and erotic poetry.

Valentina - Android Technomancer (Ace Pilot)

She was a backup pilot for the Terran military before the uprising.

She named herself after Valentina Grizodubova, a female pilot from the Soviet Union during WW2.

Most of her kind fled into the darkest reaches of space, but she still hangs around outside of Terran space and offers her piloting skills to mercenary companies that don’t mind working with an android.

Vampire Character 

Cornelia Nona Velius - Vampire (Lilium) Clan Empusai 

Another unique character made just for me! I figured that Cain wasn’t the only childe sired by Lilith, so we made up a bunch of Clans descendant from her bloodline as well. 

She was a Roman woman of the Equestrian class before her embrace into vampire society. 

She’s a master manipulater, influencer, and has had a hand in various political schemes and intrigues throughout the last couple of millennia.

Bonus fact: I’ve stuck with this character through both Masquerade and Requiem.

That Time Forgot: Hyundai NEOS

When you get asked: “What do you think is the most radical sports car design?” Some might say the Plymouth Prower. Others the Panther Kallista. I would say this thing. Let’s talk about it on today’s installment of That Time Forgot. And as a bonus, let’s also talk about its two successors.

Introduced at the 2000 Paris Motor Show, the NEOS set out to prove that Hyundai could build technologically interesting and advanced cars.

Powered by Hyundai’s 2.0L Beta engine, it produced 250 horsepower and featured radical styling reminiscent of that of the Prowler and the Light Car Company Rocket.

A 6-speed continuous semi-automatic transmission was used. NEOS stood for “New Evolution Open Sportscar”, at least in this case. The car had swan doors which could be unlocked and opened using a card keyfob.

Work on the NEOS began in 1998, led by the HMC Japan Technology Research Center. Work took a total of 28 months. The body of the NEOS was made mainly of carbon fiber, aluminum and plastic.

Despite the promising figures, the car’s radical styling ensured that the NEOS would never come to be. The name would be recycled for another two concept cars.

In 2003, the NEOS-II was introduced. This was a mini-MPV with an “urban horse-trekking” motif (yeah, I dunno).

Introduced at the 2003 Tokyo Motor Show, the NEOS-II offered unparalleled space compared to other MPVs of the time, prioritizing frontal space. It also featured a glass roof and all the other fixings. As usual, the car never came to be, but the name was subsequently reused.

This was the NEOS-III. First revealed at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show, the 4.6L V8-powered NEOS-III featured a clinically-styled body with a high beltline and a short greenhouse. The front and rear may not have been the most attractive however.

Okay, now that we’ve gotten the history of the NEOS and the related concepts out of the way, let’s talk about the Hot Wheels casting.

The Hyundai NEOS was first introduced in 2002 as a First Edition. Of note is that no releases ever refer to the NEOS as the NEOS; instead, it is referred to as the Hyundai Spyder Concept. This casting was designed by Mark Jones, who has designed many castings since he joined the Hot Wheels Dream Team in 1993.

As seen on the base, it is simply marked “HYUNDAI SPYDER CONCEPT” with copyright information on the base. There is no mention of the word “NEOS” anywhere on this car. As for why that is, I suppose someone already had some copyright with the word “Neos” going on, so Hot Wheels couldn’t use it; I don’t think it was the car’s name at any point. 

This casting received only four releases. As another added bonus, let’s show all of them.

Kallista hastily blinked away the sweat that dripped down her face into her already blurred vision. Her eyes raked over the man with what vision she had. J. Fell. Officer. Unmanicured hands gripped her face away from her gaze on his uniform and brought her attention back towards his rather unfortunate face.

She could hardly fight against his hold, though his grip was rather pathetic compared to his quiet co-worker. Her lips curled up in disgust, the overwhelming smell of cigarettes and vervain on his lips harshly blew down on her. Nausea threatened to overwhelm her, the longer he loomed, the worse it became. Her weakened body was nothing but an obstacle to overcome and by the Nordic Gods, she would overcome it. If only to get rid of pests like him.

Blue eyes peer down at her, only serving to remind her of the utter child that had gotten her in this utterly embarrassing position. “Deceptive beasts, aren’t they?” His unchapped lips split when he smiled, cheeks reddening underneath the cold whip of wind of the night. “This one almost looks pretty. Human.”

Anger swirled in her belly, growing into something more as strong winds curled her around her, throwing her brown curls into her sweat soaked face. She could only laugh in his face, dry mouth causing her to sound deranged, the sound was not sweet nor kind, and it made her prey pause.

Blood would be split tonight and it would taste sweet on her tongue.

Levi’s Tailor Shop Flagship Denim Tattoo Bar

I recently got asked to come into the Levi’s Tailor Shop flagship store to check out their new denim tattoo bar, which has been installed as part of the celebration of their 50th anniversary of the trucker jacket.   

The whole idea of the denim tattoo pop-up studio is for people to come and create something special using limited edition tattoo designs to be printed onto the back of a choice of Trucker jackets.

There are 5 different designs to choose from by renowned tattoo artists: Otto D’Ambra, Jean le roux, Deno, Dominique Holmes and Manuela Gray, each design has been specially commissioned by the brand as a limited-edition artwork, and there are only 50 being printed of each design!

I love mandalas and all things geometric so naturally I went for the mandala design by Dominique Holmes. It was really cool watching the design come to life on the jacket I’d chosen. As I'd picked black, I decided to go for a white print (which was actually the first time the store had tried doing it that way) which was pretty cool. I’m glad I chose that as well, because it came out sick. :)

I picked out a couple of other pieces from the store, and in the end went with a ‘Silver Tab’ long sleeve and the ‘90s baggy’ jeans, which I LOVE, and of course... I went with black. As well as the denim tattoo studio, at the back of the store there is a Tailor Shop service.

The Tailor Shop is basically your 1 stop shop for all this customisation. They can do repairs, rips, stiches, embroidery, stick on patches and pins and all sorts. I went with ‘Stay Cozy’ embroidered on the back of my jeans. I was actually really impressed with all the services they have to offer - it’s mad how many different ways you can play with denim!

The pop-up denim tattoo studio will be in Levi’s® Tailor Shop Flagship Store (176 Regent Street) from November 10th – December 18th.
