So they’re asking all british people to swear allegiance to Charles beside just the nobility. Sounds like the perfect time to bring out the guillotines actually.

Not only that, but they're asking the taxpayer to cough up for the cost of carting Charles' inbred ass through the streets in his solid gold carriage to get a magical blessing, they're cracking down especially hard on anti-monarchy protestors, and they're aggressively stonewalling the Guardian's attempts to answer the most basic questions about the monarchy's personal fortune (after the Guardian did a months-long series showing how the Queen consistently abused the legislative process for the royal family's benefit). And now they actually decided to ask people not just in the UK but "around the world" to "swear allegiance voluntarily?" Gee, I wonder why it would be a thing for people around the world to owe political loyalty to the UK monarch? Couldn't be the British Empire y'all are so desperate to have back again, could it? here’s the thing with cele and marc (according to Me…) i don’t think cele would willingly interact with anyone that’s not an academy member not out of hatred or whatever but he’s just . a little introvert …. like did u see him during the moto2 group picture moment his ass was ALONE almost the whole time

hes not so much an introvert though!!! i mean hes weird (<3) but i also think hes just bad at pr (in the sense of presenting a publicly consumable affable personality) and a little self deprecating and not the most dedicated to learning other languages... every time the academy gets interviewed and they get asked about cele theyre like if anything's happing he's there!! hes texting to hang!!! hes at the club!! he wants to be with his buddies!!! like hes less of a bold personality than someone like bezz who has an ability to be really charismatic and affable, but being a little shy doesnt mean ya cant make friends... ESPECIALLY when hes a lil more comfy bc his other academy buddies are vibing in the corner doin intricate rituals. he is ALSO. and this is crucial. the resident contrarian of the academy. won a race in moto2 by disagreeing with everybody on his team and also the entire grid on tire selection. and bc of this think he least likely to go along with the vale miasma. as evidenced by him canonically annoying vale the most. and i ask what would annoy vale more. than him earnestly asking marc about like. literally anything.

1 ) heeeee..... knows the basics? & is average at it. he knows the basic sensitive areas to hit, he can hit relatively hard, but is acting on instinct & trying not to get hit rather than any predetermined knowledge on how to do that or how not to get whipped. envision - if you will; that he has the fighting technique of someone who has never been in a fight before who knows some things from video games & other things from common knowledge, with a few specialty tricks that will Not help him if he can't act quick enough;

have i mentioned he's an old man with Just Above old man reflexes,

have i also mentioned that, ironically, he's got a sibling ( pseudo-canonically? ), who is / was a pro-wrestler & he absorbed nothing from that aside from how to cry uncle when he gets bullied by them

the only advantage he could have in a fight is if you're trying to get him in his GAME, where he can virtually throw everything at you in an attempt to stop you. otherwise? have fun with it.

2 ) his weak spots are everyone's weak spots; eyes, neck, chest, stomach, groin, & knees. the particularly painful disadvantage to a physical form ( & the explicit choice to be able to feel physical pain )

3 ) you CAN & it's probably DESERVED but would you feel good about beating an old man

4 ) its technically legal anywhere, i'm sorry 😔

My depressive episodes are always pretty heavy, I've been taking the mornings off the past few days to just watch some TV and do cross-stitch and zone out (normally I sit down and get to work immediately, like, 'sit at my computer eating breakfast getting to work.') It's been great to kind of chill out, though I never really stop thinking about the characters or the stories, but I'm more than okay with that.

I'm definitely going to be able to keep to the schedule, it's the 'socialising' side of things that can get harder. But sometimes just little breaks here and there make all the difference. Sometimes even just telling everyone I need a break, ironically takes a lot of pressure off me and then I need less of a break. I guess in a way, that means just communicating helps a lot, which seems really obvious in retrospect!

But you know, it's kind of 'frowned upon' in many professional circles. Tumblr is a weird space, where it honestly feels more natural to be open and authentic, instead of button up my personality and just present a 'WAHEY LET'S READ SOME WRITINGGGG' - I mean I know I do that too sometimes, but honestly, sometimes my vibe is also like 'hi I am pressure cleaning objects in this video game and tired and a bit sore in my brain how's everyone else doing.'

The fic is still fun! I love replying to comments. I just do need to take breaks sometimes, especially during times that are supposed to be breaks. I have some particular internal red flags that are like 'oh shit, you're depressed, get offline now' which I never see coming, but once they're there it's like... easier to listen to.

Tomorrow morning and the next morning I'll probably do more of the same - watch TV, do cross-stitch, think about what I'll do for the rest of the day. Honestly that serves as a bit of an internet break too, and frankly I have really needed to just check out a bit more, even for a few hours, but I'm sure many folks know sometimes that's really hard to do until you start making yourself <3333
