Dream dream

A devil fruit user with the ability to steal a persons dreams/ambitions steals Luffy’s dream to become the pirate king. This leaves a despondent Luffy who doesn’t believe in his or any of his crews dreams (their dreams have become part of his) the crew is left to get his dream back.

Zoro’s arc

I really wanted a Zoro arc. Where his old sensei contacts him about needing Wado Ichimonji (to defeat an enemy that can only be cut by one of the 21 great grade blades) Zoro has to return but he hates leaving the crew. He tells Luffy (there’s no way he’s leaving without an explanation) and Luffy is not letting him go alone.

There are many twist including old memories and new knowledge (maybe Kuina’s death wasn’t an accident)

Big Zoro feels, his relationship with the crew and some Zolu (cause I can)

Nika cult

A Nika worshiping cult wants to bring Nika back to the world, to do this they have to kill Luffy. They almost succeed, Nika takes over to keep Luffy alive. Now it’s up to the crew to find away to save Luffy. But it’s so weird to travel with Nika. Who knows them, because Luffy loves his crew, but Nika is not Luffy. So it’s like hanging out with your loved ones friend you never met.

Big focus on the crews love for Luffy. (All the crew including Jinbei) big focus on Sanji (whole cake guilt) Robin (she adores her captain and crew) and Zolu

Sun god and king of hell / madoka magica fusion

If you’ve watched Madoka Magica you know. But Luffy loses himself to Nika. Maybe to save the crew of maybe the whole fleet, but Luffy’s no longer in control. Zoro truly becomes the king of hell and uses his power as Asura to block Nika’s influence over Luffy, allowing Luffy to be Luffy. But every now and then Nika tries to break free.

This involves a lot of rearranging of cannon events. But basically Shanks realizes that Luffy is living alone and promises him the next time he comes to Dawn island he’ll take Luffy with him. Crap finds out and take Luffy to Dadan, where he meets Ace and Sabo. Shanks returns just in time to stop the Bluejam pirates from separating the ASL brothers. He spends some time getting to know the other two boys and decides to take them with him.

Skyward Sword/Zelda au

Luffy remembers his past Life and Nika while separated from the crew. The crew is trying to find him while slowly remembering their own past lives. They are only finding bits and pieces but one memory stands out. The death of Nika at the hands of Asura.

The whole story follows the idea of Skyward sword. That Luffy is Nika reincarnated and needs to finish the job Nika set out to do before he past. Other people (the red hair pirates or the revolutionary’s) are helping him remember his past life while stoping the Strawhats from interfering.

Headcannon: Dididestined work/jobs

Taichi- I've thought about his the least tbh but I feel like him becoming a diplomat both does and doesn't fit him (leave suggestions ig since these are used for my fanfic)

Yamato- I actually like the idea of him becoming an astruanot but I feel like he would still have a side career as a musician

Koushiro- programmer (it's just them)

Sora- I like the idea of her going into the clothing industry (I do get why others don't) but I feel like she would be a more modern fashion designer, that makes practical clothing that still looks good (big advocate for women pockets!)

Mimi- love the idea that she is either a ceo of co-ceo of a company, that or a marketing expert/consultant

Jyou- Doctor but later down the line (like after a good decade give or take) opens up a few animal clinic (as he does medical aid in the digiworld, but that's for another hc list)

Hikari- elementary teacher (starts out teaching the younger classes but eventually starts to teach the older ones) definitely has a YouTube channel that they started when they were in middleschool/junior high (still posts on their off days)

Takeru- Author and part-time porfeser for a college near where he lives (teaches in the writing field obv.)

Daisuke- Works at a ramen shop in Japan but has a monthly one week ramen vendor in the US that he uses the money for charity (Def. hangs out with Mimi durring that week in the US)

Iori- I like the idea of him being a Lawyer/attorney I think it really shows his character development and also let's him work for justice in a way that honors his father but also in a way that works for him since Iori can fight and could be a police officer but he isn't inclined to fighting and prefers to understand the inner situations, which in my opinion makes him a good person to be a lawyer

Miyako- Translator. I LOVE her want to go to different places and I LOVE the idea that she knows multiple languages. To me being a professional translator just fits her, she also def. studies the culture of the places she visits bc she tries to be fully respectful of the people's way of life no matter where she's visiting, I also think she'd be an assistant to Koushiro whenever she's taking a break from work in Japan.

Ken- I kinda like the idea of him being a detective, it allows him to use his own deductive reasoning and the idea of him and Iori working close together is just so amazing (check out a fanfic that is like a Phoenix Wright au of them on ao3, I'll link it later)

I'm curious does anyone have any other ideas for these guys (especially Tai I need ideas for him) I'd love to write oneshots of these guys getting frustrated with work and having to seek out help from their friends inorder to take their mind off the problem (and go back fresh) or get help solving the problem. Mostly bc I'm a suckered for stories that show childhood friends that have so much going on in their lives that they don't have time for other things but bc they are real friends they still make the time to hang out and meet up w/ eachother despite how hard it is to do.

Ken: If Taichi-san and the younger Hikari-san are here, then *the rest could be*, too. Ken: Which could *also mean*, *KOUSHIRO*-SAN... We *could* 'LOOK' *for Koushiro*. Hikari: I remember where Koushiro-san's {place} is!! Miyako, worried: But wouldn't Koushiro-san be *very young* here?? Ken: *Maybe*... but it's *worth a try*. Back to my idea for a Zoro Arc.

Part 1

If Koushiro reached out about Zoro returning Wado ichimonji. Immediately think he would first reach out about the beast attacking their home. Maybe a beast with impenetrable skin. The kind only one of the 21 great grade blades can cut.

Zoro has to go help his old master and there is no way Luffy is letting him leave the crew so it’s a field trip to Zoro’s home village.

Once there Zoro goes to met with Koushiro (getting lost on the way several times) Luffy goes with him while the rest of the crew explores the village/restocks.

Once they get there Koushiro explains that there was a miscommunication he wasn’t asking for Zoro’s assistance he was just asking for the return of Wado Ichimonji. Stating that a pirate is unworthy of such a blade and that Zoro is bringing dishonor to Kuina’s memory by carrying it with him on this path.

Zoro is torn because how can he part from Kuina’s sword when he is so close to fulfilling their dream.

But it does belong to Koushiro’s family. And he is Kuina’s father, and Zoro’s former teachers

At the same time Wado is Zoro’s sword. He’s fought with her for years now. He can separate from her.

Before the conversation can go farther Luffy butts in. Calling Koushiro stupid for believing that Zoro would ever dishonor a friends memory. And that Zoro isn’t a dishonorable pirate. They are a different kind of pirate after all.

Koushiro is not about to believe a pirate captain like Luffy. How did he even get Zoro on his crew in the first place?

To which Luffy stupidly tells him, blackmail.

And that defiantly starts a fight. Because maybe Koushiro was wrong and Zoro’s been trapped into this life of a pirate and if he just gets ride of the captain, Zoro will quit.

Zoro doesn’t take well to his captain getting attacked. Doesn’t matter who it is doing the attacking, if they are swinging at Luffy with swords then they are Zoro’s opponent.

But they get interupted by the beast Koushiro needs Wado to slay.

Luffy just laughs and tell him they will take care of this problem for him and then he’ll see that Zoro is more then worthy of wielding Wado Ichimonji.

The beast probably turns out to be a devil fruit user.

I still need to decide if koushiro is a good person worried Zoro has gone down the wrong path or if he’s secretly a monster who killed his daughter

Chapter 9: Two ends of the same thread On opposite ends of the same dining table, but I can’t stomach the meal laid out before me, and he shows no signs of eating either. “I’m sure you’ve worked up an appetite,” Count Ishida comments, “ Princess .” From him, it sounds insincere. “It’s safe to eat,” he insists. “I don’t doubt that,” I remark, “Because if you had poisoned me, that would foil your plans.”When I stare long enough at the table, I can make out harsh carvings and indents made. It doesn't take long for me to realise dried blood has been spilled here, but it's been so long that it blends in with the wood and dark hues. I rise from my seat, the painfully awkward sound of my chair moving fills the empty yet elaborate room. Count Ishida’s ocean-blue eyes follow me as I approach the floor-to-ceiling window, focusing on the cloudy night. “You’re not afraid of me?” he asks. “What reason do I need to be afraid of you?” I question back. “You know the kind of monster I am. If the fables continue in your generation, you know what I can do.” All this time, I’ve been watching my reflection in the window. As the fables say, his reflection doesn’t appear next to mine. “But that’s the key word, Count, ‘can’,” I face him once more, and I meet the vampire who shares the face and name of my Lord Ishida. “And I know in any lifetime we’re in, the only way Yamato can strike fear into me is by staying true to his position as a nobleman of the Ishida family .” Count Ishida gets up from his own seat, making his way toward me. The bats that have been hanging above us flutter wildly about, the wolf and cat nestled near the fireplace open their glowing eyes. Count Ishida stretches out his arm, his hand cupping my face. Just as his fingers curl and I sigh into his grip, I shut my eyes. When I open them, I find Lord Ishida watching over me with worried eyes. I look around us, we’re back in the forest with our blades laid down and our horses tied to tree trunks. “Lord Ishida,” I say first, smiling tenderly at him. My hand reaches for his, locking our fingers and bringing them away from my face. “Your Highness,what can I do for you?” he asks with utmost remorse, as if he had a hand in what just happened. My arm drops with our joint hands still connected, composing myself as the wind carries with it dead leaves and the whispers of the coming night. “Tell my brother the three of us are having dinner tonight. The jousting tournament for Prince Sora’s ‘entertainment’ will have another participant.” (Late Evening) “Hikari’s right,” my brother swings his butter knife around, “Quit your job as the sword-training mentor and polish up on your culinary skills.” “Then who are you going to show off during the jousting tournament?” Lord Ishida retorts, reaching over to lower Taichi’s swinging hand, “You’ll poke someone’s eye out.” “All the more reason for me to join the tournament,” I jest while closing my eyes, tired from today’s events. When I open them once more, I find another fork slowly reaching for my plate. I swab my brother’s hand away. “You’ve had your share of potatoes,” I scold. “What kind of princess and nobleman bullies their future king?” Taichi grumbles. “If you can’t behave at the dinner table, I fear for our country’s future,” Lord Ishida gives in and shares the remainder of his potatoes with my brother. “Your Highness,” Lady Miyako calls from the other end of the room, completely ignoring the daggers Lord Ishida is throwing at her, “A man is asking for an audience with you.” “Can it wait?” I ask with gentle eyes, signaling with them. She simply gestures with her palm up, and waves at the corridor. “Her Highness will finish her meal first,” Lord Ishida insists, I lower my hand beneath the table and find his shaking fist. “I’ll be done quickly,” I promise, and our dinner plans are cut short. As I excuse myself and am being escorted out of the room, I faintly hear my brother whisper to Lord Ishida. “It’s going to be worse when she’s actually married,” he says with regret. Even if he’s the Crown Prince, I know it wasn’t Taichi’s first choice to marry me off.
