Hi Marte, I recently came across your blog. Since then, I have been reading your asks and opinions about industry, harry and louis, their brands, they really resonate with me. So first i just wanna say thanks for taking the time and sharing them because it is hard these days to find blogs in this fandom that, like i dont wanna be unfair to people but, still dig below the surface and “theorize” based on wildly accepted facts about industry rather than how their situation make us feel.

Anyway I see so many bloggers claiming that larries don’t have a vital part in Harry and Louis’ fandom in that apparently we are, now, smaller part of their respective fandoms and it doesn’t matter if we stay or not. But I’m having a hard time seeing that tbh, I think larries are more like core-fans of these two men, so I dont know why their teams would wanna get rid of us, i’m aware that their teams are still doing things that may look like to discourage larries but there seem to be also concerted effort in their parts to give larries vague enough content to keep us in the fandoms, just recently, two of harry’s music videos seemed really targeted to larries, especially music for a sushi restaurant, also their timing of releasing daylight where the story and imagery got larries going right before Harry went into another pr seemed intentionally in their part. So I was wondering what are your thoughts about larries’ places in their fandom nowadays? If you have a time and would like to talk about, I’d like to hear your thoughts about that , thank you 🙏🏻

I pretty much agree with you. I think we larries are a large and integral part of both their fandoms. We're very vocal, knowledgeable, funny as fuck but always on our toes. But best of all we have the power to make the rest of the fandom do our bidding. For example make twitter trends, organise successful fan projects, charity donations and so forth. Larries made fitf uk no 1 happen. We promo the shit out of things on behalf of them and their teams. All the puzzles H and L have created for their album promo (eroda and the fitf word scrambles) would never have been solved that fast if not for larries. We're also always the ones to discover album and song leaks first, ever since the 1d days. We are on top of things, and if we want something bad enough we make it happen. We're a force to be reckoned with.

I think both their teams play both sides. I think they want to keep us here for a couple of reasons. Despite us vocally unmasking their showmance attempts, we also do a lot of promo and keep up fandom engagement. For Louis, us larries are large part of his fanbase, so he needs to cater to us. When it comes to both H and L i think they appreciate having fans who sees them, who understands them (their personalities, their lyrics, and when their lying or faking it) and who values them for who they are (as gay people). We are loyal and won't leave them when they come out. A lot of larries are also fellow queers so there is a sort of mutual recognition and understanding there. I think they genuinely care about us. But making money takes presedence most times and us larries often become casualties. We are the fandom black sheep(s), but we wear that label proudly. They'll never be rid of us, i don't think they ever could or would. So even though it might seem like they don't see us or care about us, they do.

Eleanor has never been a threat, she mastered bearding like no one else. She provided enough charade to appease the hets and shippers, without stepping on Larries’ toes while doing so.

Eleanor even (accidentally? purposely?) became a co-conspirator when she posted Louis in an Umbro shirt on her IG which would be worn by Harry only a few months later. Thanks forever for that El! 💜

hmm i feel like if i give one of my less loved ships it’d be a cop out. like oh no i’ll never read/write scisaac again how terrible 😧 (/s) doesn’t mean much since i haven’t read scisaac in ages and even back when i was hardcore into teen wolf i barely read them u know so um. hm. this is kinda hard omg but maybe larry? listen i’m not a larry shipper or even a directioner anymore but some of those fics are still such BANGERS and so nostalgic for me so it’d be a loss but not THAT big of a loss because i’m not actively reading for them anymore. cool. i feel like that’s a good option lol

i don't think they are in relation but jkkrs are spreading misinformation/lying on letter song, even though jimin said it's for fans they are creating bs very similar to tkkrs. Their narratives are he can't speak like that on public etc and these same people propagated to watch OG content and said all the things coming out from jkk mouths but where is that now ? Larries 3.0 in making or tkkrs 2.0! Lmao!😐 I really disliked how they are talking like jimin is lying, it's a hidden track for fans a letter for fans and was sung by him in last music show too! This is ridiculous coming from people who were preaching here lol.

I've been so fed up about that too. A year ago I already said that jikookers were turning into taekookers. It's what happens when shippers don't get content, when they don't get what they want. It's what happens when the ship starts saying things they don't want to hear. Literally the same happened to taekookers; the moment taekook grew apart in 2018ish, the fake sightings, the "he didn't mean to say that" "he's not telling the entire truth", all of that started when they weren't seen together and the same happened with jikookers last year.

Jimin has talked in the past about overcoming and getting through a really hard time by watching videos of fans singing Young Forever. Just some days ago on that pixid video he teared up when the fans talked about their struggles. Everything he said about the song being written after the hiatus, about the way he was feeling during Las Vegas and after that, everything about the type of person he's proven to be through the years, how grateful and thoughtful he is; it all makes sense with the song.

Listen, I don't have any feelings of "aww this song is for me", at all. I've said that I don't understand JK interactions with fans and the way he flirts with them is really cringe, and when I listen to promise or letter, I just hear comforting words in a comforting voice. I'm not thinking "Jimin loves me so much omg he wrote this for me". But to say that he's lying... c'mon now. And letter is written in the past tense. What now, he wrote a song in the past tense for his current partner? Jimin doesn't know how grammar works? The song also very clearly references previous BTS songs, like Sea (also a hidden track in a different album) and Spring Day, which is quintessentially THEE army song.

Even more, I'd tell you that Jimin doesn't care. If he wanted to write a love song about a real romantic relationship and have JK sing it with him, he would've done it. I have no doubt about it. Why would Jimin need to rely on BTS songs and fan quotes to write a song about a personal romantic relationship, make it make sense. He can do better than that.

larries are shippers of louis(hope that's him from 1D) and Harry's shippers. Liks they still think harry and the louis guy loves e/o even when luis has a whole ass woman as his wife and a baby like how those larries still exists is beyond me. And it's not just small numbers bro their tweets still gets thousands and thousands of likes on shipping tweets like imagine the DeLuSiOn.

And if jk's and th's partners are gonna be someone outside of industry? Oh then they better be prepared to save them cause it's gonna be worst for them. If you gonna stick by BTS forever then mark my words they'll definitely regret this thing of shippers in future.

For jm i know some jkkrs are crazy too but they still won't be as crazy as tkkrs or the number would be less compared to them and jm's solos care for him in different way so they are not much of y/n so that won't be much problem for him.

Of course there are things that will make me stop believing. Karl Popper would love me, because i'm a big fan of critical rationalism. If we get new information i will amend my view if neccessary. These scenarios you're describing depends on the context and my prior knowledge. So i can't tell you if i will amend my view before it happens. Based on what i know right now, the scenarios you are describing are not likely to happen.
