good looks, a wealthy family, and a place in one of the most prestigious private colleges that one could go to. aptly dubbed the ‘prince of ice’ by his classmates thanks to his cold demeanor and disdain for interpersonal connections, the young man had one goal in his mind since he started attending school.

to be the best!

sterling dedicated himself to his studies. nothing was more important to him than ensuring he got the top scores on every exam he took, sealing his place as number one in the academic field by any means necessary. no one dared to breach that. and anyone who even tried received his ire.

no one was going to stand up to him — why would they? they’d hate to end up like the poor guy who’s dorm was raided after he surpassed him. or the girl who did the same, resulting in her being forced to drop out after her father’s suspiciously sudden arrest left her unable to pay tuition fees. but of course, there was no real proof that sterling had caused both incidents. it was just a coincidence! right?

well… the day you came onto his radar was a day that left the entire student body tense.

everyone had gathered around the bulletin board where the latest exam results were posted. there were gasps of shock, murmurs, and even a small ripple of laughs floating through the otherwise quiet crowd. it was unusual. and when sterling had pushed his way to the front to gaze upon the list of student names with their scores beside them… he understood. and in an instant, he was furious.

he was in second place. and above his name, with a pretty 100% score next to it, was yours.

who the fuck did you think you were? coming to his school, earning the grade that he worked so hard to receive, and daring to take his place as number one?

sterling knew in an instant that you had to be a new student. he had all of the names of those who ranked just under him memorized, and yours wasn’t one of them. were you a transfer? a latecomer? he had no clue what the circumstances behind your sudden arrival was, and honestly? he didn’t care. you had taken his place, after he had worked so hard to get there. after he had been there for so long. you had taken his place. and he knew for a fact you didn’t deserve it.

but just as he resolved to figure you out so he could plan his revenge?

there you were. passing through the the slowly dispersing crowd to look at the leaderboard, your eyes locking with the name — your name — at the very top of it.

when sterling first saw you, he couldn’t even begin to understand the feeling that had suddenly flooded his senses. it was so strange… and why did the world suddenly feel a lot slower? why could he only notice you and him in the hallway? why did his heart skip in his chest when you glanced at him and your eyes locked?

if you had tried to say something to him, sterling didn’t even notice. he had hurried off before you could even speak.

he was sure he despised you after that point. he had to have, he told himself. the way his mind always drifted back to you when he was trying to study, angrily clicking his pen and gritting his teeth as he thought about your stupid hair and your dumb, adorable eyes, the way your uniform looked better on you than anyone else in the college — he didn’t even realize he was thinking about you so much until he snapped out of them and noticed how much time had passed.

he hated you. he had to. you had taken what was rightfully his, probably with dumb luck or cheating, and now you were invading his thoughts in such a way? was there nothing you wouldn’t take from him?

he was colder to you than anyone else. he had to be — you needed to learn your place around him. he’d ignore you in the halls and during class, and when you’d innocently ask him for his input on something, you’d be met with a sneer and a condescending retort.

“i don’t fraternize with people like you. don’t bother me.”

despite this, he’d always wander around near wherever you went. going to the library at the same time as you so he could snatch whatever book you had planned to check out away from you and take it for himself, making sure to go to the cafeteria just before you arrived so he could take what he knew was your favorite snacks, and he’d always be at the dorms before you — trying so hard to not stare at you when you passed by in your pajamas, fresh out of the showers.

your stupid body wash smelled so good… he couldn’t help himself when he snuck back to the locker room after hours to snag it for himself.

weeks after your arrival and sudden climb to the top, everyone was confused to see you were still attending the school. sterling would’ve taken out anyone else by then, what was so different about you?

but no one would ask, obviously. nor would anyone come to your aid when all of your pencils and pens were all mysteriously snapped in half one day. or when you’d find your notes torn into pieces and haphazardly stuffed back into your bag. and when you tried to alert staff about your dorm room’s door being ajar for some reason, they brushed you off even though you knew for a fact someone had gone through your things (‘nothing important’s gone? no bother pursuing the matter, then’).

with how much disdain and contempt he seemed to hold for you, it was so strange that sterling didn’t like the idea of no longer catching daily glimpses of you. or having access to your things.

so even though sterling went out of his way to make your school life nearly unbearable as revenge for coming along and doing just that to him first, he didn’t make the move to actually have you removed from the school and opted to torment you instead.

you deserved it, he told himself. far more than anyone who came before you.

so inspired by that last yan nerd post…imagine academic rivals (my fave trope of all time) and the yan thinks this is all a declaration of love and is head over heels while the darling is abt to rip his head off for scoring above her

what i find amusing about this whole debacle, is that many of the other yanderes fight to have your love and attention. yandere nerd, however, is quite content just by seeing you for the day. he doesn’t need much contact, he doesn’t feel deserved of it. BUT YOU- you can’t stand the yandere nerd. how he constantly scores above you, no matter how many restless nights of studying, he somehow ends each quiz, each test, each assignment and each exam with exemplary results. you can’t handle placing second, especially not to some lowly nerd that hides in the corner whenever you flash your eyes of disdain at him.

it baffles you, when he tells you he doesn’t have private tutors as you do. how he doesn’t requests one on ones with teachers, asking newly questions for the upcoming assignment. it takes everything within you not to strangle him, he must be lying. he has to be. with the way he stutters and avoids looking at you in the eyes. perhaps he cheats? but cheats each time? he surely would have been caught by now. no, he’s the personification of a well behaved nerd, teachers would never suspect him. although you being beside him frustrated you to no end, your tendency to be the best pushed you to become ‘friends’ with him. learn all his secrets, have him reach you, oversee what tactics of studying he uses in learning new topics. and then beat him bloody by winning.

it was tricky at first, he seemed to be awkward whenever you approached him, still is but notably more tamed than before. he always had a look of surprise and awe when you greeted him. as he should, someone below you should always be amazed at seeing you. turns out, you learnt a few tricks from him, very useful tricks. but he continued to place first, while you below him. how come? you used the same tactics he did, studied even more so than him. the latest exam was the last straw, his “good job” when you placed second, again. and he placed first, again.

although you preferred to win fair and square, your emotions of inadequacy led you to a road you never would have thought of at the beginning of this whole situation. dragging him to your house, into your bedroom, you demanded the nerd strip. he, of course stuttered, and flailed about at this order of yours. he was too confused, too overwhelmed. he already felt flustered when you grabbed him by the arm and led him to your bedroom, but now you wanted him to be naked? in front of you? he could already feel the tight bulge in his pants, cursing himself. he didn’t have enough time to cover his eyes as though to hide, your lips found his, hungrily devouring him, as though to show your power over him. halfway through your tongues entangling each other, his knees had given out. falling to the floor, his face bright red and out of breath, he watched as you stripped before him. he was always happy just to be in the same class you, but here you were, seeking his body out like a hungry tiger. he was surprised you felt this way toward him. of course he felt blessed that you wanted him, but he never felt deserved of it. you stood over him, your room light behind you, you looked godly.

Hello sweetie💌 I accomplished the void last night and I want to share my story with you. Well, first of all I did a few days of self concept (I didn't do anything special, I listened to subliminals and reminded myself that I already have it). In fact, when people said that the self-concept was something important to the void, I didn't take it very seriously, I thought it was a limiting belief. but such an idea came to my mind, I tried not to achieve the self concept void, but to make me realize that I already have what I want. In this process, I really achieved great results, I felt better now, family problems decreased as much as possible, and most importantly, I realized my unlimited power. and here is the day i entered void!!!

It was evening hours, I didn't specifically listen to a meditation or a frequency void subliminal. I lay down on my bed, closing my eyes and concentrating on my heartbeat, just with an idea that I was sure was going to enter a state of emptiness. I relaxed my body, then repeated the familiar affirmations inwardly (like I was in the void) After that, I got to the most important stage, my body started to take off, it was like I was floating in a vacuum. I suddenly realized that the sounds were gone, the flashes of light before my eyes and the darkness that followed were pulling me in. At that moment I realized that I was in void and said my wishes.

My manifests:

• I passed a university exam and it cannot be said that I was that successful. so i first manifest the result i want.

• I added the foods that I had been craving for a few days on a board I created on Pinterest, I wanted them to be in my closet when I woke up.

• 50 kg and my dream body type

• The most beautiful state of my own face, free of all my insecurities

• a pet cat

• Every time I want to just close my eyes and affirm, enter the void in seconds.

• Albums and magazines of all my favorite kpop groups

• some anime manga

• mastering the manifest, the instant reflection of my wishes on my reality

• have a perfect self concept

• that my mother is completely healthy and peaceful

• a laptop, a new tablet, the latest headphones and my dream phone

• large amount of money in my safe for myself

• My dream room and also a closet to put my snacks

I had manifested that all my wishes would come true the moment I woke up. The first thing I did when I woke up was to look at the phone and it was exactly what I wanted! then i got out of bed and looked around my room, it was exactly the same as in my dream! then i checked my new tech and money, they were in place too.everything was exactly how I wanted it! I literally felt like a dream, but it was all real. After I suppressed my excitement, I heard my mother's voice, she was saying that the exam results were announced. I entered the site from the phone and checked my result! I have quite enough and an excellent result for the university I want!

I just want to say, you can achieve anything, my dears! Just discover that limitless power and don't give up no matter what. You don't have a single thing missing from successful people, first realize that. You are in control of your reality and it is up to you to shape it according to your wishes. I will give an example from myself, I had so many problems that I was not even in good health. I overcame all this myself. And now I am very happy, living my dreams. take care of yourself, believe in yourself, believe that what you can do is limitless, respect your achievements. I believe in you.

I’ve gotten so many success stories lately. I won’t post all of them and still don’t plan on coming back but I promise I see them and I’m so happy for y’all even if I don’t post it 💓💖💖💖

01. WILL YOU HELP ME STUDY?

AGAIN, THE EXAM RESULTS came in and of course, song eunseok just had to be number one, for the 3rd time in a row. the first time it didn’t really bug you, since you believed the boy was just lucky and you’ll be number one for the second exam. but then the second results came in, you were still number two. and now the third results, again, number two. you stared at the list that was stapled against the wall, specifically looking at Number 1. Song Eunseok and you felt nothing but anger. “how could i let him win three times in a row?” you mumbled underneath your breath before walking away from the list.

“she’s upset isn’t she?” eunseok’s friend, sungchan, nudged him while pointing to you walking away.

“why are you asking me? i don’t care whether she’s upset or not, she earned her spot and i earned mines.” eunseok replied abruptly, startling his friend with the tone of his voice.

“i mean, dont you feel a little bit bad? i bet she’s been working her hardest for these past exams.” sungchan said, but eunseok showed no sign or even felt bad for you. “well clearly she hasn’t been working hard enough.” before his friend could say anything else, eunseok walked away without mumbling another word.

he walked into an empty classroom to study for the next exam that was just around the corner, who knew you were doing the same exact thing, at the same time…in the same classroom he had just happened to walk into. as soon as you heard the door open you looked back, and then made eye contact with your academic rival, song eunseok. you quickly turned away and cursed at yourself, “out of all classrooms, he had to choose this one?”

“this is new. switching up where to study, huh?” eunseok was first to start up an conversation as he sat quite far away from you. “i suppose so. a group of people took my usual classroom, so i have no choice but to stay in here now.” you responded quietly, though the boy still heard you.

“so, how do you feel about the latest exam results?” eunseok asked, and you knew he was just asking that to make you mad. “shut up, i don’t wanna talk about it.”

all your academic rival could do was laugh at your reply. it seemed like he didn’t take you very seriously, which pissed you off but of course you didn’t wanna stir up drama between you two so you kept quiet. it was obvious eunseok was very happy that he placed first three times in a row, but does he feel the need to brag it in your face?

“ok, i get it. you placed above me three times. congratulations, but just a reminder there’s two other exams waiting and i’ll be sure to be number one for those. don’t get too full of yourself, song eunseok.” you said to him, and the boy’s smile faded as he stared at you.

“oh there’s no need to worry about me. these past exam weeks you’ve been overly confident, and now look where you are. below me. the key is to not be so confident that you’re gonna place first, alright?” just listening to the tone of eunseok’s voice, it was clear he was being serious this time.

“overly confident?” you scoffed. the audacity eunseok had to say you are overly confident. and though you are confident, what’s wrong with that? can’t a girl be confident sometimes? eunseok looked over at the desk you were sitting at; even though you two were sitting quite apart from each other, he had good vision. “what are you studying, math?”

you turned around to look at him before responding, “yes, got a problem? the next exam is based on—” before you could even start to be smart with eunseok, he interrupted you before you could let another word out of your mouth. “you do realize you’re studying the wrong unit, right?” he interrupted, smirking as you looked back at your notes.

“oh what do you know about which unit we’re supposed to be studying?” you say frustratedly, and watched as the boy pulled out his giant notebook. “if you were as smart as me, you’d know our teacher continuously told us to study unit 10.” your rival responded and showed his notes in the process. you couldn’t believe eunseok had such smug look on his face after being right.

you angrily put away your notes and grabbed a new sheet of paper. you faced eunseok who just stared at you, “i don’t have the notes for unit 10. im gonna need them to study.” you say, and the other tilt his head with an eyebrow raise, “oh? you need my notes now?”

you sigh, “what do you think?”

“you didn’t ask very nicely, y/n.” eunseok replied, and you just scoffed.

“WILL YOU HELP ME STUDY?” you ask, and the boy smirked.

“of course.”
