YouTuber Logan Paul and CryptoZoo have been named as defendants in a newly filed class-action lawsuit, which alleges they stole millions of dollars worth of purchaser's cryptocurrency via a "fraudulent venture." In a court filing on Feb. 2 in the District Court of the Western District of Texas, plaintiff Don Holland alleged that Paul and executives at CryptoZoo “executed a ‘rug pull’” by promising purchasers of the nonfungible tokens (NFTs) exclusive access to crypto assets among other benefits but ultimately abandoned the project and kept the funds. "As part of Defendants’ NFT scheme, Defendants marketed CZ NFTs to purchasers by falsely claiming that, in exchange for transferring cryptocurrency to purchase the CZ NFT, purchasers would later receive benefits, including, among other things, rewards, exclusive access to other cryptocurrency assets, and the support of an online ecosystem to use and market CZ NFTs," it wrote. I’m not gonna sugarcoat this what Logan Paul did was so disgusting and I won’t be silent about how publicly showing a suicide victim is the lowest of the low. someone that targets a younger audience exposed them with this which infuriates me the most. He believed that he was making a difference. Instead mocking a taken life for self gain, horrible. he values money much more then anything else. I would rather be living with nothing then have what he consider happiness. And don’t even get me started on the “apology.” no one should be defending such unsympathetic actions.

What I’m still trying to understand is how would you feel if someone you were close to/ loved had just committed suicide while some jackasses film them (while laughing about it) and upload it online for the whole world to see.

The magnitude of Logan Paul’s actions.

So, as you all know, Logan Paul recently uploaded a 15 minute vlog in Japan in which he displays the recently deceased body of a suicide victim in Japan’s infamous Suicide Forest. In this vlog, Paul and his friends laughed and cracked jokes, zooming in on the body. I know I am just one of many to share my thoughts on this, but I need to. I need to stand up for that man. I need to stand up for the family of the suicide victim. I need to stand up for victims of suicide and survivors of suicide. I need to stand up for myself. 

The actions of Logan Paul and his friends are inexcusable. He shouldn't have kept rolling the camera. He shouldn’t have kept the footage, no less uploaded it. 

The desecration of this poor man’s body was premeditated. He literally sat with his editor for HOURS and discussed whether or not he should upload the footage. Then, he told his editor what to do, how to censor the body, and carried on with uploading it. I know he apologized, but I don’t give a fuck and neither does Logan. 

Before you throw the platitude of “we all make mistakes” at me- remember that this is not a mistake. This was a CHOICE.  This content is literally something you would find on the deep web, or bestgore. Instead, it was uploaded by choice to a Youtube Channel that CHILDREN, TEENAGERS, and YOUNG ADULTS watch on a daily basis. Yes, Logan did not go into that forest to seek a dead body. He wanted to upload a video which consists of him and his friends camping in a “haunted forest”. He could have gone to any other forest famous for having a creepy or unsettling atmosphere. Instead, he chose one famous for being a place where people in so much fucking despair that they cannot handle being alive for another day that they kill themselves.

Logan Paul does not deserve our forgiveness.

The family of the suicide victim has been thrown into a world that’s one thousand times more bleak than they deserve. They’re undoubtedly in a lot of fucking pain. Let me tell you something, I know the pain they're going through. It’s what’s weighed on me for almost 3 years. I am so far removed from who I was prior to February of 2015 that it’s incomprehensible and if I survive for another year, I’ll never be the same. Neither will this family.

Oh, and guess what? All of that pain? The pain of the suicide victim. The pain of his family. My own despair. The despair of thousands of other people is little more than a punchline to Logan, his friends, and the part of his fanbase that condones his actions. There are undoubtedly good people who support Logan, they aren’t the problem. 

My point is, don’t let this go. Let Logan Paul be held accountable for his actions. 

You never know when your problems will be a joke next.

Okay, I’ve already posted a response on my meme Instagram, so if you want to see more of what I’ve said go to @bruhsfeed_ I’m just going to say @loganpaul should keep to filming himself acting like a child on acid running around in his mansion...this video was very disturbing and I’m guessing he’s pretty naive to the seriousness of suicide. Not only does he post the video of a man who hung himself just minutes ago, he laughed at it, filmed it and then stamped a warning and PSA to save the skin on his behind. You treated this man like a freak at a sideshow in a carnival. If you don’t have the common sense and enough sincerity and empathy you should’ve never set foot in that forest. The whole video I hope is fake tbh but seeing that it’s the suicide forest he went to in Japan he should’ve understood how serious and mournful it is to be there. There’s a time and place Logan, not everything is a goal for views. I am honestly very disappointed in his actions and apparent "coping mechanisms". I’ve always thought that his content was immature but now I just think that he is desprate. Exploiting a dead man? Disgusting. Mind you, this man committed suicide, which means he took his own life which means that he was that sad with his state of being that he felt as if he wasn’t worth living on the planet. He also acted like he didn’t know what to expect once he found a dead body. In society, people have expectations walking into certain things. In logan’s case, he should have expected a dead body, and he seemed like he didn’t. He also continued to laugh and make jokes instead of being respectful and putting the cameras down after the first frame of that dead mans body was filmed. He called his utter disrespectfulness his coping mechanism which I hope many of his viewers didn’t believe. He just wanted the views and the publicity that this was going to make him. He got it, but with every action comes a reaction. Most of that reaction being hateful, and he deserves such hate. This mistake is going to live with him until the day he dies, and until that day, will he be forever reminded that he was a complete and utter douchebag in front of millions of people.
