A/N: I had this idea because I wanted to write something cliché. I was a diehard marauders stan and got inspired by those "you have the wrong tie on"-stories. I hope you’ll enjoy the small one shot.

“Fuck!” You exclaimed while almost sprinting out of your car and up to the front door of restaurant you had planned to meet up with the boys.

They wanted to discuss everything one final time before the tour started you had been running painfully late.

So, when you stumbled into the restaurant you shot the group a small greeting without really looking at them and quickly sat down between Folio and Noah.

The latter shot you a confused glance that you couldn’t quite read, so you just smiled at him softly.

“Uhm…” Ruffilo exclaimed, also looking at you like he had seen a ghost.

You blinked confused, trying to process why the group was looking at you strangely but Jolly finally helped you out of your misery.

“So, you end Folio finally did it?” He exclaimed in a jokingly tone.

Your mind started to race. Why did Jolly know? Did Nick tell them? You thought the two of you had agreed to not tell anyone about it. But on the other hand, it’s been three months since you started dating for real and…

“You’re wearing Folio's sweater." Noah quietly said to you, helping the storm in your head to calm down.

You looked down slowly at what you're wearing, when it hit you. The Logo on the front was undeniably from one of his sweaters, but because you were running so painfully late this morning you'd just grabbed a random sweater from the floor in your bedroom on your way out. Completely missing out on the fact it was Nick's.

It had been a dark grey crew neck, with a little white design on the front. A sweater looking really similar to one of your own and also one he wore quite frequently during the winter.

You blinked in disbelief. Out of all sweaters, you had of course taken exactly the one that the boys could clearly identify as Nick's.

You shot all of them a short glance, before looking back at the sweater and you began to stutter. "We… uhm-… I"

„For fuck sake, yes we are dating. Could you now stop staring at Y/n like they are an attraction."

To that Matt gave you a small smirk, "I'm happy for you, but if you ever fight on tour and make it our problem, I'll hunt you down."

The rest of course having heard, rambled in disbelief for a second, as they looked on the menu.

Nick placed a hand on your thigh, causing you to look at him.

"Is it okay, I told them?" Nick whispered on your ear. You slowly began to nod.

"It was actually kinda painful to not be able to touch you or kiss you around them." You answered him with a small and lovingly smile on your face.

"Let's change that." He exclaimed teasingly before pressing his lips to yours in a loving kiss.

"Okay, just because you are dating and we know it now, doesn’t mean you have to fuck in front of us." Noah jokingly exclaimed.

You pulled away for a second to shove your elbow into Noah's side just to peck Nick's lips again, who began to slightly laugh at your action.

Right before the waitress reached your table to get your orders, Matt spoke up again.

"So, I guess we can save some money by cancelling one of your hotel rooms on tour, right?"

The bedroom door clicking shut rouses you from your half asleep state. Nick’s side of the bed is vacant, and you can hear his voice from out in the living room area of your shared apartment.

You assume he’s on the phone and will come back after the call is over. But getting back into your nap is proving to be a little too difficult as you continue lying in bed.

You end up just pulling yourself to your feet. You grab whatever sweater is closest to you — it’s one of Nick’s, the Vic Firth logo across the chest — and pull it over your head and fit your arms through the sleeves before exiting the bedroom.

Nick’s voice echoes from the kitchen, and you immediately follow the familiar, comforting sound. You prop yourself against the wall between the kitchen and living room when you walk up. Nick is facing the opposite wall so you can see the left side of his body as he enthusiastically speaks into the phone speaker.

“Dude, I’ve been waiting to get back on the road for months,” Nick replied. He had a broad smile on his face. “This is gonna be fucking sick.”

Right.

Tour.

Your heart aches painfully inside your chest as Nick goes quiet, listening to whoever was on the other line. His smile was nearly blinding. It made your chest tighten.

“Oh, for sure. I’ll get packed tomorrow then come stay with you for the night before we head out, if that’s alright.”

Wait. What?

You didn’t know the tour was so soon. Well, maybe you did and just hadn’t realized. You can vaguely recall Nick mentioning it sometime last week. Or was that a month ago? Maybe all of the above, honestly. At this point, the periods between Bad Omens’ tours and various other shows have all begun to blur. You hardly even realize if and when Nick is home.

And that’s the kicker, isn’t it? Nick is the only reason you’re able to fall asleep at night anymore; he’s constantly making sure you’re okay and if you’ve eaten or not, checking in on you every other minute of every day. But you wouldn’t have it any other way.

So what the fuck are you gonna do now? This always fucking happens: you need Nick with you, he says he’ll stay, ends up leaving for tour in the near future. This is getting ridiculous.

You’re not sure if you can do this again.

You bite your tongue as you listen to Nick wrap up his phone call. He taps at the hang up button on the screen of his phone, that same smile stretching across his face. Fuck, he looks so excited…

“Who was that?” you find yourself asking timidly. Your shoulder is beginning to hurt from leaning against the wall.

Nick twirls towards you, his smile growing and brightening when he sees you standing there.

“Matt! Tour starts in a few days, so I’m gonna get packed early and stay a night with him before our first show,” Nick explains excitedly. He trots up to you. “But I’m gonna run and get some food before I do any packing. Do you want anything?”

You shake your head. “No, I’m okay,” you tell him. “Thank you, though.”

Nick leans in to kiss your cheek then skirts around you out of the kitchen. From behind you, you can hear him grabbing his keys and his feet against the floor as he walks around the living room and suddenly you can’t choke back your words any longer.

“Nick?”

You hesitantly turn around to see Nick sitting on the couch as he pulls on his shoes. He looks up at you quizzically whilst tying the laces.

“What’s up, babe?”

Deep breath. It’s now or never, you realize as you stride a few feet away from the wall.

“Please don’t go,” you whisper, hoping Nick could hear.

Nick’s brow creases in confusion. “To McDonald’s?” he questions. He rises to his feet once his shoes are tied. “‘Cause I can go to Wendy’s or somewhere else if you decide you want something.”

That almost makes you chuckle.

“N-No, not that,” you correct. Your teeth dig into your bottom lip for a fraction of a second. “Tour. Please don’t leave.”

Understanding crosses Nick’s face. He hums in acknowledgement, the keyring now spinning around his right index finger. He looks at you.

“I wish I could stay, you know that,” he says quietly as he crosses the small gap between the two of you to reach you. “But I can’t just stay home from a tour like this. You understand, right?”

You’re not holding back this time. You are telling him what you need to say, and if he decides to leave and ignore you regardless, then it was still worth it.

Right?

“No, Nick, I don’t understand,” you say. “You’re always leaving, and I can barely tell when you’re home anymore. It feels like you’re always gone.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

“It means I feel like I rarely see you, like you’re on one tour or another.”

Nick gives you a funny look riddled with confusion.

He doesn’t reply.

“Just stay home longer than a couple weeks. Please?”

“Babe, I can’t. The guys need me,” he counters. His shoulders are tensing up and he is not doing a very good job at keeping the agitation out of his voice; he’s getting defensive.

“I need you.”

That gets him to pause completely. There’s a certain hardness in his eyes that has your skin prickling and crawling, but you force yourself not to back down. You have been needing to talk to him about this for a couple years now, and just never have. Now is not the time to swallow your pride and watch him leave for the millionth time.

“Is your band more important to you than I am?” The question surprises Nick, but it surprises you too. You don’t allow yourself to show it, though, unlike Nick. “Is touring the world more important than our relationship?”

“Y/N, stop. That comparison isn’t fair—“

“Is your band more important than me?” you ask again, your voice growing in volume. “I have been your number one supporter since the beginning. That is why I haven’t said shit about you going on tour after tour. I’ve put up with being away from you for so long even though I fucking hate it! And yet you still go, even when you know how much I hate us being apart.”

“Your support means the fucking world to me,” Nick says in a raised voice. “And I love knowing you’re cheering me on from the sidelines all the time, no matter where I am. But this is my job! I can’t just call in sick or decide not to go.”

“Then talk to Matt about spacing out tours or something!” Now you’re on the verge of begging. “I need you, Nick! Why is that so hard to understand?”

Nick takes a step backwards. “I’m not doing this right now,” he mutters. “I’m gonna go. I’ll be back later.”

Your pulse is burning. Anger is pulsing through your veins and your head is spinning like a top.

How can he be so selfish? Does he truly care so little for your relationship? You knew Bad Omens was important to him, but deliberately ignoring your pleas after having explained your reasoning? His arrogance is suffocating.

“Yeah, go ahead!” you scream at Nick as he heads for the front door. “Fucking leave! Leave for tour when you know I need you – again!”

He pauses. Turning to look at your way you see his face has reddened and his eyebrows are tightly knit together. You can’t quite tell if it’s from anger or guilt. Frankly, you don’t give a shit.

“You know what?” You draw in a shaky deep breath as Nick continues staring at you. “Don’t come back. After tour, stay with your stupid fucking band you always leave me for, or Dakota or Bryan. ‘Cause I’m not letting you back in if you come knocking. This is the last goddamn time I’m letting you leave me, so you—“

You don’t get to finish your sentence, because Nick is suddenly surging toward you, his hand curling around the side of your head beside your ear. He digs his fingers into your scalp as he pulls you into him. You have just enough reaction time to thread your fingers into his hair.

The force he’s kissing you with is nearly bruising. He’s painting your lips with his own, and they’ll be a dark, mottled purple by the end of this. But you don’t mind all that much; from the moment your mouths met you were forcing every ounce of anger and desperation and frustration onto Nick’s tongue, and he is doing the same.

Nick has his hands all over you. The one was gripping and tugging at your hair, while the other was shoved up under your sweater and roughly searching the curves of your torso. Years of playing drums have left his hands rough and calloused, and you fail at suppressing the shiver that passes through your body when he’s roughly dragging his fingers across your skin.

Each movement leaves your nerves on fire and your flesh singing and yearning for more. Each of you senses are begging for Nick to never stop, to just keep touching you everywhere for all eternity. He has you wrapped around his finger.

The only sounds exchanged are frantic breaths and the occasional whimper or moan. Then comes the yelp that escapes your mouth when Nick has your legs around his waist and your back up against the wall. He presses his body into your own, every hard line and every divot meeting with a bolt of electricity.

You feel the hand beneath your sweater fiddling with the fabric of your bra while the other moves to your jaw. Nick gets a couple fingers under the bra’s flimsy wires, the pads of his fingers pushing into the soft tissue of your breast. His other hand is clasping tightly at your jaw and throat.

Nick nips at your lips roughly. He then trails openmouthed kisses from your chin down to your neck, his mouth searing hot against your skin. His teeth keep grazing the column of your throat, and you have begun to forget why you were angry in the first place.

Nick slows down the pace of his kisses. He presses one more to the center of your neck before he pulls back. His breathing is heavy and his pupils are dilated when he looks directly at you. One of your hands is still in his hair, so what was once perfectly styled is now a tangled mess. Your other hand is clawing at Nick’s ribs from under his t-shirt, which had ridden up significantly from your heated encounter.

“Baby…”

The hand that had been clutching and destroying the skin along Nick’s abdomen escapes the safety of his shirt and you roughly press your fingers onto his lips. He immediately stops from continuing his thought, and you’re suddenly overwhelmed by the sight of the bright red blush crawling up his semi-exposed shoulders, neck and face. Lust is burning inside his eyes as he stares at you.

“Please don’t go,” you say. Your voice is broken and quiet when you finally address your boyfriend. You shift your fingers downwards, but the pads of your index and middle catch on Nick’s bottom lip for a moment before meeting his stubble-ridden chin.

Nick doesn’t speak right away. Instead, he leans back in to capture your lips in another passionate kiss. The way he moves against you is fucking addicting, and he knows every spot all along your body that makes you lose your mind. And he’s doing just that as he moves his hands to your hips, using his strength to force you to grind against him. He greedily swallows your weakened moans.

“Come with me,” he pants in between kisses.

“Nick—“

“Come with me,” he repeats, this time more aggressively. “Please. That way… we don’t have to be apart again.” You feel him smirk against your lips. “But maybe we could make this tradition if we are apart.”

You end up agreeing to join him on tour with Bad Omens. That is, only after he apologizes in every way he possibly can with you spread out in front of him.

Note

Folio also has a Jesus tattoo, Noahs neck tattoo is the forbidden fruit apple on his Adam's apple. I had a giggle at that when I realised. There's so much Christian imagery in their music pre DOPOM, and in Dethrone. It's like they're aesthetically Christian lol.

Oh yeah, even their band logo is the crown of thorns. LOL

Guys it’s time for some Post Office Bounty! Look at all these Christmas/Hanukkah presents that showed up in MAY.

Top left are two gifts that were direct-shipped to me; the Sarri’s bucket is full of chocolate covered almonds and comes from M in PGH -- you know I’ve become a bit fascinated with Sarri’s because their logo and general aesthetic reminds me so much of See’s Candies, but as far as I can tell there’s no link. Meanwhile, some great socks for Jewish, Piratical, or Semi Formal occasions came from a company called Beau Ties in Vermont -- not sure who sent it but thank you all the same!

Upper right, J from Pasadena (who I believe made my “big” bai-bao-jia, yes?) sent a small folded folio to store ephemera in, which I’m planning to take when I travel because it’s perfect for holding receipts, stamps, and credit cards. I LOVE the pouches you sent, and the stickers will not go to waste either!

Lower left, a train whistle, a dreidel (which I have very few of!) and a kite from @pale-chartreuse; I love that kind of train whistle so it will go to very good use, and the kite will definitely catch some air this summer. I DID have a calm and uneventful New Year! :D

And lastly, a box of northern treats from @janedrewfinally -- I can’t wait to try the teriyaki nori (I’m saving it for a party later this week), and I’ve already eaten one of the chocolate bars. I thought I’d include one package still wrapped to show off the Llama wrapping paper too!

This is roughly a quarter of the mail received -- there’s another post in the queue and ready to go, and then probably two more posts’ worth that I haven’t been able to photograph yet. It’s been a real lift over a couple of weeks that have badly needed it, so thank you everyone! :)

Ipad Air 5 là chiếc máy tính bảng mới nhất của Apple, được ra mắt vào tháng 3 năm 2022. Đây là phiên bản nâng cấp của Ipad Air 4, với nhiều cải tiến về hiệu năng, kết nối và camera. Ipad Air 5 có giá khởi điểm là 599 USD cho phiên bản Wi-Fi 64 GB và 749 USD cho phiên bản Wi-Fi + Cellular 64 GB. Nếu bạn muốn tăng dung lượng lên 256 GB, bạn sẽ phải trả thêm 150 USD. Ipad Air 5 có năm màu sắc để bạn lựa chọn: Xám không gian, hồng nhạt, tím, xanh dương và starlight (màu trắng ngà).

Ưu điểm, nhược điểm

Ipad Air 5 có nhiều ưu điểm đáng chú ý, như:

- Thiết kế đẹp mắt, mỏng nhẹ và chắc chắn.

- Màn hình Liquid Retina 10.9 inch sắc nét, rộng rãi và có hỗ trợ True Tone và P3.

- Vi xử lý M1 mạnh mẽ, cho hiệu năng cao hơn so với Ipad Air 4 đến 50%.

- Hỗ trợ kết nối 5G (cho phiên bản Cellular), cho tốc độ truyền dữ liệu nhanh hơn và phạm vi phủ sóng rộng hơn.

- Camera trước 12 MP có tính năng Center Stage, cho phép tự động theo dõi gương mặt khi thực hiện cuộc gọi video.

- Camera sau 12 MP có khả năng quay video 4K và chụp Live Photos.

- Hỗ trợ Apple Pencil thế hệ thứ hai và Magic Keyboard (bán riêng).

- Cổng USB-C cho phép kết nối với các thiết bị ngoại vi khác nhau.

- Thời lượng pin tốt, có thể sử dụng liên tục khoảng 10 giờ.

Tuy nhiên, Ipad Air 5 cũng có một số nhược điểm cần cải thiện, như:

- Dung lượng cơ bản chỉ có 64 GB, quá ít cho một chiếc máy tính bảng hiện đại.

- Không có Face ID, chỉ có Touch ID tích hợp trong nút nguồn.

- Không có loa stereo, chỉ có hai loa đơn ở hai cạnh bên.

- Không có màn hình ProMotion, chỉ có tần số quét là 60 Hz.

- Không có camera LiDAR hay flash LED cho camera sau.

- Không có Smart Connector cho phép kết nối với các phụ kiện của Apple.

Thiết kế, mặt lưng

Ipad Air 5 có thiết kế gần giống với Ipad Air 4, với các cạnh vuông vức và viền màn hình mỏng. Mặt trước của máy là kính cường lực chống xước và chống vân tay. Mặt sau của máy là kim loại nhôm nguyên khối, có logo Apple ở giữa và camera ở góc trên bên trái. Máy có kích thước là 247.6 x 178.5 x 6.1 mm và nặng khoảng 460 g (cho phiên bản Wi-Fi) hoặc 464 g (cho phiên bản Cellular). Máy có độ dày chỉ 6.1 mm, rất mỏng và nhẹ so với các máy tính bảng khác cùng phân khúc.

Mặt lưng của Ipad Air 5 có một số điểm khác biệt so với Ipad Air 4, như:

- Có thêm một cảm biến ăng-ten ở góc trên bên phải, cho phép kết nối 5G (cho phiên bản Cellular).

- Có thêm một micro ở góc dưới bên phải, cho phép thu âm tốt hơn.

- Không có Smart Connector ở cạnh bên trái, nghĩa là không thể kết nối với các phụ kiện của Apple như Smart Keyboard hay Smart Folio.

Cấu hình, khả năng chơi game

Ipad Air 5 được trang bị vi xử lý M1, cùng với RAM 8 GB và GPU 8 nhân. Đây là cấu hình rất mạnh mẽ, cho phép máy chạy mượt mà các ứng dụng nặng như Photoshop hay Final Cut Pro. Theo kết quả kiểm tra của Geekbench 5, Ipad Air 5 đạt điểm số là 1701 cho nhân đơn và 7137 cho nhân đa. Điểm số này cao hơn rất nhiều so với Ipad Air 4, chỉ có thể sánh ngang với Ipad Pro 2022.

Khả năng chơi game của Ipad Air 5 cũng rất tuyệt vời, nhờ vào GPU mạnh mẽ và màn hình sắc nét. Máy có thể chạy mượt các tựa game đồ họa cao như Asphalt 9, PUBG Mobile hay Call of Duty Mobile. Tuy nhiên, do màn hình chỉ có tần số quét là 60 Hz, bạn sẽ không thể trải nghiệm được hiệu ứng chuyển động mượt mà như trên Ipad Pro có màn hình ProMotion. Ngoài ra, do không có loa stereo, âm thanh của game sẽ không được sống động và chi tiết như trên các máy tính bảng khác.

Camera

Ipad Air 5 có camera trước là camera ultra rộng 12 MP, có khẩu độ f/2.4 và góc nhìn là 122 độ. Camera này có tính năng Center Stage, cho phép tự động theo dõi gương mặt khi thực hiện cuộc gọi video. Camera này cũng có khả năng quay video HD 1080p với tốc độ 30 hoặc 60 khung hình/giây. Camera trước của Ipad Air 5 được cải thiện rất nhiều so với Ipad Air 4, chỉ có camera thông thường 7 MP.

Camera sau của Ipad Air 5 là camera rộng 12 MP, có khẩu độ f/1.8 và hỗ trợ lấy nét tự động. Camera này có khả năng quay video 4K với tốc độ 24, 30 hoặc 60 khung hình/giây; quay video HD 1080p với tốc độ 30 hoặc 60 khung hình/giây; quay video HD chậm với tốc độ 120 hoặc 240 khung hình/giây; và chụp Live Photos. Camera sau của Ipad Air 5 giống với camera sau của Ipad Air 4, chỉ có camera thông thường 12 MP. Camera này cho chất lượng hình ảnh khá tốt, sắc nét và màu sắc trung thực. Tuy nhiên, camera này không có camera LiDAR hay flash LED, nên khả năng chụp ảnh trong điều kiện ánh sáng yếu hoặc chụp ảnh đo chiều sâu không được tốt. Ngoài ra, camera này cũng không có tính năng chống rung quang học hay zoom quang học, nên bạn sẽ phải cẩn thận khi quay video hay chụp ảnh từ xa.

Tổng kết lại, camera của Ipad Air 5 là một trong những điểm nâng cấp đáng giá so với Ipad Air 4, nhất là camera trước có Center Stage. Tuy nhiên, camera của Ipad Air 5 vẫn còn thua xa camera của Ipad Pro, về cả số lượng và chất lượng.

Dung lượng có sẵn của máy

Ipad Air 5 có hai tùy chọn dung lượng là 64 GB và 256 GB. Đây là một điểm trừ lớn cho sản phẩm này, vì dung lượng cơ bản chỉ có 64 GB là quá ít cho một chiếc máy tính bảng hiện đại. Bạn sẽ rất dễ gặp phải tình trạng hết dung lượng khi bạn cài đặt nhiều ứng dụng, tải về nhiều tệp tin, chụp nhiều ảnh hay quay nhiều video. Bạn sẽ phải xóa bớt hoặc sao lưu dữ liệu thường xuyên để giải phóng dung lượng cho máy.

Nếu bạn muốn tăng dung lượng lên 256 GB, bạn sẽ phải trả thêm 150 USD. Đây là một khoản chi phí không hề rẻ, và cũng không phải là một giải pháp tối ưu. Bạn sẽ không thể tùy biến dung lượng theo nhu cầu của mình, mà chỉ có hai lựa chọn cố định. Bạn cũng không thể mở rộng dung lượng bằng thẻ nhớ hay ổ cứng ngoài, vì máy không hỗ trợ khe cắm thẻ nhớ hay cổng USB-C OTG.

Đây là một điểm yếu rất lớn của Ipad Air 5 so với các máy tính bảng Android khác, vì các máy tính bảng Android thường có dung lượng cao hơn hoặc có thể mở rộng dung lượng dễ dàng hơn. Nếu bạn là người có nhu cầu lưu trữ nhiều dữ liệu trên máy tính bảng, bạn nên cân nhắc kỹ trước khi mua Ipad Air 5.

Kinh nghiệm sử dụng

Sau khi sử dụng Ipad Air 5 trong một thời gian, mình có thể nói rằng đây là một chiếc máy tính bảng rất đáng để sở hữu. Máy có thiết kế đẹp mắt, mỏng nhẹ và chắc chắn. Màn hình Liquid Retina cho hình ảnh sắc nét, rộng rãi và có hỗ trợ True Tone và P3. Vi xử lý M1 cho hiệu năng cao hơn so với Ipad Air 4 đến 50%. Creación de un producto

Saludos a todos, espero que estéis bien, hoy les vengo a contar los diversos aprendizajes que tuvieron unos estudiantes a lo largo de sus clases de tecnología, partiendo de un proyecto en parejas, donde se tendría que crear un producto originalmente propio y exponerlo a la clase.

Una idea surgida en 2023, durante las clases de tecnología donde dos compañeros de clase decidieron crear un perfume llamado Blue Diamong of the Flower en la que puedas combinar dos aromas en el mismo frasco, se hizo realidad gracias a su propia empresa creada llamada RosaMar. Primeramente se hizo un One Pager en Canva para exponer su producto a sus compañeros de clase. Para ello, el One Pager debía contener una descripción del producto, su finalidad e información extra de la misma, como el precio u otras cosas más. Este también debía contener un problema relacionado con el producto, y su solución. Además, se tendría que crear un número y correo para poder contactar con la empresa, al igual que, el logo y un dibujo a folio del producto creado que, es de color azul y tiene forma de diamante con una tapa la misma figura, pero transparente.
