Not to say either of them is right here, but what's wrong with the ice cream guy? I haven't kept up with the show proper in several seasons, so I'm probably very out of touch.

He is The Villain of ML in my heart.

His magic ice cream is wildly inconsistent. It's Soulmate Ice Cream! Except when it's Just Friend Ice Cream! Well, until he ONLY gives ice cream to lovers, NOT good friends who have fun together! But sometimes he gives ice cream to couples that DO break up! What are the rules? WHO CARES, CERTAINLY NOT ANDRE! I can't even put stock in his ability ACTUALLY being magic when it's constantly contradicting itself. I'm pretty sure he's just convinced himself that he has magic when he doesn't and his ego is easily bruised if anything pulls him out of his fantasy.

Plus he inexplicably always blames Marinette every time he's akumatized, no matter how far he has to stretch to do so. Once when she didn't even interact with him directly!

The first time because she went home without eating his "Soulmate Ice Cream(tm)" by herself as a 5th wheel. Because, what, her leaving meant his ice cream "failed"? Wasn't the point that two people are supposed to share the ice cream for the magic to work? But because she was like "no thanks", he swears revenge on her???

The second time because he was so invested in shipping two strangers that he got mad at Marinette for...being seen in public with one leg of the ship? After Ladybug had made it perfectly clear that she and Chat Noir were NOT a couple and so Chat Noir has the right to have fun with whoever he wants to???? Because "my ice cream is never wrong"?!?!

It didn't seem to work out for Lukanette or Adrigami so I don't know where you get the gall to even continue to make that bullshit claim, but OKAY.

And the third time, HE had the audacity to blame HER for making him "lose faith in ice cream and love" when he REFUSED TO SERVE HER! He flat out denied her and Chat Noir ice cream because he doesn't make "good friend" ice cream despite them BEING ON A DATE, and then has the GLUTEN FREE AUDACITY to be mad when tHEY are UPSET by it!

Oh but that wasn't a problem in "Wishmaker" when it was Marinette sharing with Luka, but sure, make up new things just so you can get mad about it, that makes sense.

I also have a personal vendetta against him for being the one to out Marinette's feelings for Adrien to Adrien. After 4 seasons of build up, this is how Adrien finds out? Horrible, vile, detention, exile, I hate him. I mean I've been done with him since "Heart Hunter"/"Miracle Queen", but they just loooooove to PILE IT ON.

Like, wouldn't it make more sense for Andre to have been the one person to see through the Love Square? Even if he didn't fully understand it, since Ladybug = Marinette and Chat Noir = Adrien, wouldn't it just make sense for Magic Ice Cream to be able to see past that because They're Soulmates(tm)? But he's only invested in ONE of the pairings, not even like two of the pairings that are seemingly unrelated. He is NEVER as passionate about Adrienette as he is about LadyNoir...but why???? Why is he so blase about Marinette going with Luka or Adrien being with whoever when he can't even handle Chat Noir LAUGHING with a girl who Isn't Ladybug?

They never even have fun and explore what he'd do if he caught a Ladrien date, would he be angry at Adrien like he is with Marinette, or does he just have it out for her specifically?

At this point I'm just convinced he's only so invested in the LadyNoir pairing because he's publicly endorsed them so much and if they don't end up together he'll be outed for being a Hack Fraud. His fixation on two teenagers becoming a couple as a grown adult and falling to pieces just because Marinette has other ways to have fun instead of eating Ice Cream she doesn't even get to choose the flavor of...

Summary: after the fight and the thoughts that your relationship it’s not working anymore, you and Max decide to talk about it.

Previous Chapter

After rolling around in bed almost all night trying to sleep I gave up, I kept thinking about last night and that it was the first serious fight we have had in 2 years of relationship and also the first time in our relationship that we slept in bad terms with each other.

I love him and I think I always will, but I was surprised at how naturally those words came out of my mouth that I began to doubt if I still wanted to be in a relationship with him.

Sometimes loving a person is not enough.

I didn't mind the many nights that I spent alone because he had to travel to race, or when he had consecutive days of simulator and came home tired at night.

When we started dating I knew that these were things that I would have to learn to deal with because that is his job.

But sometimes I feel that Redbull comes before me on occasions that are important to me like last night's stupid party as Max called it.

It was a stupid dinner but it wasn't the dinner itself that I was excited about it was to introduce him to my friends as my boyfriend and not as Max Verstappen the world champion which is how they knew him.

The hours passed and Sunday morning began, the city of Momyr Carlo was cloudy and raining, and gosh how I hated days like that.

I got up and forced myself to go to our room since all my things were there, when I entered he was sleeping and the covers were all messed up and this was a sign that he was not sleeping well, Max was a restless sleeper when he forced himself to sleep.

After doing my morning routine I got dressed in a sweatshirt set, thick socks and my slippers and after fixing the covers on him because it was so cold I went downstairs to do something for breakfast.

Waffles were my favorite thing to eat when I was sad so that's what I did, prepared them and just as I was about to start eating the doorbell rang and I was surprised since I wasn't expecting anyone but when I opened the door I saw Victoria and Luka.

"Oh hi, I didn't know you guys were coming."

"That’s strange because I'm sure you said you would be with Luka today."

"Geez I'm sorry that completely slipped my mind."

"Are you busy or..."

"I'm not, I just made waffles so if you want to come in."

"I can't stay but thank you." She smiles and puts Luka down who hugs me and runs to the kitchen. "Is everything alright? Where's Max?"

"Everything's fine and he's still sleeping."

"Ok, I'm going to go but if you need something you call me ok?"

"I will." She smiles and hugs me then leaves.

"Auntie y/n, I can't reach the waffles." He says from the kitchen and I walk over to her. "Where's Uncle Max?"

"He's still sleeping."

"Can we wake him up?"

"He's very tired so let him sleep a little longer and then wake him up, shall we?" He nods her head in agreement. "What do you think about lots of strawberries and a lot of whipped cream on top of these waffles?"

"Yeah."

After we finished eating I went to wash the things I got dirty and Luka went to play in the living room with his toys but it was very quiet so I went to see what he was doing and when I saw he wasn't in the living room I knew exactly where he was.

When I opened the bedroom door I saw him lying on top of Max sleeping with him who was hugging him, I smiled at the scene and left them sleeping.

Scenes like this made me think about our babies, Luka loos exactly like Max so sometimes this got me wonder.

I think I was alone for half an hour until I heard footsteps on the stairs, I knew it was him because the footsteps were too heavy to be Luka.

"Good morning." He says in a husky voice.

"Good morning." I reply simply without looking at him.

"Been up long?"

"I didn't get much sleep last night so yes." He comes over and sits down next to me.

"Can we talk?" I take a deep breath and agree. "I'm sorry about last night, I was an idiot and being tired was no justification for letting you go alone to the party I had promised I would go with you."

"It's not just about that stupid party Max, it's about the fact that I feel like I'm the only person in this relationship, I'm tired of feeling like I'm not a priority to you and I'm tired of not feeling loved."

"But you are, you are my priority and you are loved." He holds my face making me look at him and I feel his thumb wipe away a tear that had run down. "I love you so much and I'm sorry for making you feel that way, you are the most important person in the world to me and I promise that if you give me a chance I will show you how much I love you."

"I don't know Max."

"Please, I want to show you how much I love you, I want to marry you and I want to have a family if you want too or we can adopt a more cat’s or even a bird. I want to be your husband and the father of your children and I want to love you forever even if forever seems like a short time to love you.” By this time I was crying. "I’m only asking that you give me one more chance.”

"Do you promise that you won't talk to me like that anymore?”

"I promise, and if I do you can punch me in the face." That made me laugh between tears. "I love you and always will."

"I love you too Max." He held my face with both hands and kissed me, "And I also want to marry you and be the mother of your children."

"That's great because I really want to have children someday." I laughed and he kissed me again but we were interrupted by a certain person.

"Ew." He says making us laugh.

"I see you're awake mister." I said to her who ran to us and jumped on Max’s lap.

"I missed you." He says hugging him.

This was the reason I had told Victoria that I would take care of her this Sunday, it had been a while since they had seen each other and I knew they missed each other a lot.

"I was missing you too."

"Auntie y/n are you sad? Why are you crying?" He asks worriedly.

"I was sad with your Uncle Max but it's okay now." At that she starts to cry and gets off his lap coming to mine. "Why are you crying baby?"

"Because he fought with you but I love him and I don't want to stop loving him.” He says crying and Max laughs and I hug him.

"You don't have to stop loving him, we are not fighting anymore."

"You're not?" He asks looking at me and then at Max.

"Your auntie and I are fine okay? No need to cry."

"Shall we get some ice cream then?" He asks making us laugh immediately with his change of mood.

"All right mister, let's get your shoes on while your Uncle Max and I go put on some clothes to go out."

In the end we stick together.

Kairos’ jaw dropping, speechless, in total awe with hearts and stars in his eyes. You love him– you love him enough to ask him out on a date!!! He would be so happy that he’d be smiling from ear-to-ear, blushing like crazy, and stuttering on all of his words. (*≧ω≦*)

Every day leading up to the date, he wouldn’t be able to sleep for even a second. He just feels so excited as he thinks about your all’s upcoming date together and his heart begins to race– he grows so restless. Tossing and turning in bed, kicking his heavy blankets onto the floor and then yanking them back up two minutes later. Melatonin does nothing to help him. („• ֊ •„)

He can't help it as his thoughts spiral out of control. What should he wear? How should he act? What should he say? Should he practice good posture? What's good eating etiquette on a date? He has to make everything perfect–! He absolutely cannot disappoint you! Because if he messes up, you might never love him, and then you’ll inevitably try to leave him. (｡╯︵╰｡)

So… When he actually pulls up in his car for the date, he’ll have extremely dark bags under his eyes and will be nearly passing out at every second. ^^;;;;; Please excuse him if he sometimes falls over and genuinely sleeps for a few seconds...! He’s listening to you, he promises!

And, uh… He’d really try to pay for the both of you! You invited him out, you treated him kindly, so it’s the least he can do. But since he’s not exactly well off, he’d order something extremely small and cheap, then he’ll pay for your entire meal.

He’d also write a little “ˢᵒʳʳʸ” on the receipt to the server, simply because he can’t tip all that much. ٩(｡•́‿•̀｡)۶

As for Luka, he’d also be a little bit shocked. He was fully expecting to be the one to ask you out first, but, hey… This is cool too! You already have some interest in him– which is great, as now he’s one step closer to possessing your heart. (っ˘ω˘ς )

For the first date, he’ll absolutely be paying for it all. Oh, and just to impress you further, he’ll be leaving the server a very generous tip. Luka makes sure to leave cash on the table rather than paying with card, just so that you can see him leave the money. ^^;;; Sigh.

And while it would be nice to take you back to his place on the first date, he’ll wait until the next one– unless it's you asking to go to his place. In that case, he’s happy to oblige.

...But he'd play games at first. He'll ask you if you really want to go back to his place, smirking a little bit as he makes you say what you want from him out loud. If you change your mind, he won't force anything. ( ´ ω ` )

Ultimately, he can’t refuse you anything on the first date- he wants to provide you everything that you want. He wants to show you just how amazing life can be if you simply promise to be his forever.~

synopsis: jude announces to you that he'll be leaving for madrid in a week

you hate when jude had to sit you down because he had something to tell you. you hated it so badly. at the same time, you loved listening to him talk.

"babe, i just want you to know that it hurts me just as much to have to break it to you." jude begins. lucky for him, you already what he's talking about.

"you're going to real madrid." you admit, but you did it with a smile on your face. because you really were happy for him, and you'd do everything in your power to be there with him.

"yeah," jude says. "and i know that you applied to school here at dortmund and you can't appeal for online school instead. you know how much i want you there with me in madrid."

your eyebrows pull together. "of course, jb. but i get it. i mean, let's be honest here, you put your career and me on the scale..." you hold out your hands in front of him; one stood for his career and the other for you, you let your left hand drop to your legs. "your career is way more important, jude."

"i don't even want to think about that." jude shakes his head, burying his face in his hands.

"so don't think about it," you decide. "we are just going to spend these last few days i have with you. and we're going to spend it to our fullest."

after a couple minutes of silence, jude finally comes up with a decision. "we're going to a theme park."

"okay."

tickets were booked that very same day, and the next day, you and jude were in the car driving over to a theme park in dortmund. you immersed yourself in every moment with him. you made sure you were touching him, no matter where you were. his hand would always be in yours, on the ride queues, he'd always have you in his arms. doesn't really matter what you two were talking about, you were always talking.

at the end of the night, jude drove the two of you over to mcdonald's, sat in the car and ate till you can't eat.

the next day, you and jude spent the day café-hopping all around dortmund. you drank a lot of coffee, he ate a lot of croissants. by the end of the day, you both were delirious. you didn't sleep the entire night. you talked about anything and everything. you didn't complain, though. you knew you were gonna miss these late night talks when he's all the way in madrid.

the last day was probably the most painful day. when you woke up, jude was already packing his suitcase. "didn't expect you'd wake up this early, babe." he says, stopping himself from packing and walking over to his side of the bed.

"no, go on." you say, attempting to push him out, hoping he'd continue packing.

"that can wait," jude shrugs it off. "what'd you wanna do today?"

"nothing. just wanna stay here. with you." you say, getting comfortable in jude's arms.

"good answer," jude hums, as you realise he was wearing his dortmund shirt. "i'm gonna miss wearing yellow, y'know."

"don't think about it, jb. think about the club you're going to play for next. real madrid is a huge deal. think about all the friends you're gonna make." you explain. you can imagine the new friendships he'll make. with vini jr, rodrygo, luka modric, aurelien tchouameni.

"madrid is a beautiful place to be, innit?" he chuckles.

"absolutely. i've been there a few times, you're gonna love it there." you smile to yourself.

"i promise you i'm always gonna fly you out there. anytime you're free, just text me." jude reminds, though you were not surprised, you knew he was going to tell you that.

"i'm actually appealing to the uni if i could move my year online. if they say yes, then—"

"you can move to madrid with me!" jude jumps off the bed. you nod your head. "aww, that is bloody fuckin' great! uni, please say yes." he's on his knees now.

"i hope they say yes too."

"i love you. okay? you can't forget that. i'll be in madrid waiting for you." jude says, getting on the bed and kneeling before you.

Sevika has a lot of trauma, and is surprisingly good at calming people down. She'll usually boss them around, get them functioning and then talk. But she can also be soft. Kneel down and pat, murmur, whatever needed. Whenever Sevika is dealing something, she tends to get irritable and might even cry a bit, quietly and alone. A good, warm meal will calm her enough to talk it over.

Sevika isn't really jealous, and she's fine with your being jealous as long as it doesn't prevent her from doing something. If it does, she'll sit you down and attempt to understand and better the situation.

I can see a lot of good communication in the relationship, and a lot of mutual spoiling (and breakdowns)!

so from the beginning of the song to around the end of the first chorus we're in the wondershow sekai, with rui sat at a table, refusing to eat his vegetable filled bentou. nuh-uh. no way in bahooey. and emu, miku and nene are just walking around him as. the po pi po cult, tryna get him to eat his food. oh also meiko rin len and luka have rui at tazer-point so if he ever tries to run off he'd probably go bbbrzrzZRRZRZRZBZRZBZRZBRZRZRZBZBRZRBZRBZRZZZZZZ (yes, in bold)

and then around after the first chorus, kaito leads tsukasa to the main area and he's like. what's going on. and then he sees the table, rui and the vegetable-filled bentou. ohhhhhhhhhhhh. but instead of joining the po pi po cult he goes sits at the table with rui and tries to coax him into actually eating his vegetables.

(for the whole thing the camera focuses on the po pi po cult, but from here rui and tsukasa argue in the back. like look. "but they taste disgusting!" "but they're good for you!" "have you even felt the texture of those disgusting things?" "just eat it TwT" "let's kiss" "sur... sTOP DISTRACTING ME")

and yeah after that exchange of dialogue we focus on more po pi po cult!! in the choruses there's going to be. flying vegetables and like vegetable juice carton box thingy cutouts cuz we have to push the theme or something

and po pi po cult is surrounding the oddballs (mainly 2) and yk. pushing him to eat the vegetables.

and then around the second chorus in the back tsukasa goes "*sigh* okay fine. if i kiss you will you eat your vegetables?" but rui only heard kiss so they go at it (woo.)

but then but then!! (for some reason i feel like he sounds like nene here if she wasn't part of the po pi po cult) near the end, (a very flustered, tomato-red) tsukasa's like "okay. now eat your vegetables." "eh?!" "what eh. that was the deal." "there was a deal?!?" "stop playing dumb =w= eat your vegetables before i take these chopsticks and feed you myself." "waa~, you're going to feed me? kasa, you're such a romantic~" "...mhm... *looks at vegetable-filled bentou*"

I love this story so much I had to draw my MC(Since I can't draw to save my live I used AI and I wasn't disappointed) and give his backstory. Semyon "Simon" Viktorovich Draken. As young boy he was happy as can be being raised by his father Viktor, uncle Luka and aunt Cara who he considered to be his mother as his biological mother couldn't be bothered by his existence alongside his best friend Ash and occasional visits to his grandparents in New York City. He was always a happy except occasionally at school when he was bullied by Ronald Whitaker and his goons but Ash would always make them pay big afterwards, she was very protective of Simon. (I'm going to skip ahead to the good stuff since we already know what's what) After the murder of his father Simon's heart grew cold and the light in his eyes turned to night and his small body filled with rage, no rage isn't the proper word WRATH that to his credit he hid very well so well no could tell he had any emotion at all except from those that knew him well they could see some short of metamorphosis had taken place in his soul. Although Simon still had five family members left the love they give him wasn't enough to fill the void left after his father's passing and at that he felt guilty at and at the fact he was to weak to save his father this was amplified after aunt Cara was murdered and he vowed to become stronger and take over the family business one day not only to protect those he loves but to kill those he hates. He scares his Grandpa at how good he'll be at running the family.

Poltergeist, calling this Simon's alter ego would be a gross understatement he is Simon's Wrath and the evil in his heart personified. Where Simon is cool, calm and collected Poltergeist is a Nightmare creature on meth, where Simon kills someone smoothly Poltergeist leaves them a unidentifiable smear on the sidewalk(only the bad guys of course) and when he finds the man with distorted voice he'll be less than a smear on the sidewalk. Poltergeist may help people sometimes in honor of his father but he is no hero infact he hates them cause they're all fame hungry attention whores and if he met one he'd probably knock them out and break their nose. No, Poltergeist is not a hero at all he's just monster that devours smaller weaker monsters.

Spoilers for Bayo 3 ahead!!!

Aight I'm playing Bayonetta 3 rn and I have some thoughts that I HAVE to share for the sake of my mental health. In no particular order:

LUKAON??? Bro the entire Luka plot in this game is almost impressively cringy. Who the fuck plays Bayonetta 1 & 2 and thinks—hmm, this Luka fellow should DEFINITELY become central to the plot for this game to REALLY work. Also, they somehow managed to write out any sort of endearing characteristics of the Luka from previous games?? New Luka's entire personality until now seems to be "uhhhh, me man find woman pretty". I won't even get into the masterclass in bad writing (and bad design tbh) that is "Lukaon" (henceforth named Whiter Luka in this rant). If they were going for a "mysterious stranger" kind of vibe, personally I think they fucking failed miserably. B3Luka is only Luka in name and (arguably) appearance. He has the depth of a blank piece of paper.

I fucking HATE playing as Viola, and this colors my opinion of the character too. No shade to the voice actress, I'm sure she did her best with what she was given, but I have audibly groaned almost every time she appeared on screen. I was okay with the idea of her being an edgy, cringy teen, but she eats up SO much fucking screentime that it becomes jarring. Her gameplay is painfully monotonous, even though I find Cheshire adorable, and her controls are stiffer and very limiting in comparison to Bayonetta herself. Gameplay-wise, Viola is everything a Bayonetta game should NOT be (in my opinion)—LIMITING.

Speaking of limiting, the Jeanne levels. Now, anyone who knows me knows that Jeanne is my queen, but HOLY FUCK those levels. Again, controls do not feel right, level design is atrocious and it all feels like a slog to go through. Why did they think we needed more gimmick levels for the love of fuck?? Why can't I just play Bayonetta in my Bayonetta fucking game? They did my queen dirty, on God...

Why the FUCK are we not exploring the Bayonetta alternative selves more??? There is so much fucking potential, the Egyptian version seems genuinely fascinating to explore, but NOPE!! Why should the Bayonetta game be about Bayonetta when it can be about new character we don't give a shit about and comic-relief-side-character that the writers PROMISE is srs bsns bro, I swear. Ask yourself this, if you were given the choice, would you follow the Viola storyline? I'm genuinely fucking curious.

Ngl, I'm not crazy about the gameplay. It's too much, too fast, nothing seems to matter and nothing is special. They constantly throw enemies at us with no sense of pacing or progression. Same for weapons. Remember the Grace & Glory entrance cutscene from the first game? Remember how memorable that was? Well, hope you DIDN'T like that, cause Bayo 3 will likely never give you that feeling. It's the DEFINITION of too much, too quickly. When everything is meant to be special, nothing is really special. Bayonetta 3 is flashy, for sure, but it feels shallow, at least on the first playthrough. I fucking hate saying this, but I'm genuinely disappointed. I think there are some good bones. I would love to be able to use the new weapons and techniques in a better designed, petter paced game (like Bayonetta 1), but as it stands, playing 3 feels cheap. When I got hit in Bayo 1 I never felt frustration, because most enemies and arenas were designed to allow you to experiment and figure out your own play style. With Bayo 3 I have literally dropped my controller out of frustration (usually when playing Viola). Listen, if be okay with Viola if she was an optional character, like King Zero from the first game or Rosa from the second. As she is, she makes me NOT want to fucking play the game, which is insanely frustrating.

The Crow and Cat umbran tears illustrate the weaknesses of Bayonetta 3's controls VERY fucking well. Why so many fucking gimmicks?? Who plays Bayonetta for the Route 666 and beginning of Isla del Sol, WHO??? Because they would probably love Bayonetta 3.

The world is sadly also quite poorly designed. Everything which shares an aesthetic blends together and orientation without a map of some sorts is a logistical nightmare. Again, it seems like they took the worst parts of Bayo 1 and filled 3 to the brim with them. Gimmicks, backtracking, the fact that you can MISS verses because of the poor map design.

It bears repeating, but this is very personal thing and less of a critique. I don't care about Viola. I don't care about Luka or Whiter Luka. I don't care about the Singularity or Sigurd. I'm. Or even curious about them at this point. Why was Bayonetta relegated to a side character in a game that is NAMED AFTER HER?? I care more about Ed and Edna than I do all previous individuals mentioned. The story of Bayonetta was never great, even in 1, but it was held together by memorable characters. You can't TELL me that a character is memorable, you have to show me. Even the character of Bayo herself has suffered as a result of the poor writing. The depth of her personality is nowhere to be found in 3. And no, it's not the voice change, I love Hale's work and she is doing a great job. We overlooked faults in the story in Bayo 1 (and arguably 2) because the gameplay loop was satisfying. Bayo 3 doesn't have that. And it makes me really fucking sad...

sorry for the delayed recap this week, girlies. somehow i had a life to live and it was not very conducive to breaking down an episode where literally everyone is going through a breakup.

we start the episode at tom and shiv's, where tom has made her breakfast after a long night of boning.

all is not well in this household. and none of the other significant relationships seem to be doing that well either:

this goes for everyone except connor, who honestly seems to be having a great time this episode.

he's just happy his father is dead and that he is polling at 4 percent in alaska.

truly a power play by the writers to give con all the best lines in the episode. our girl is thriving!!

the tom/shiv saga continues, this time with sexting.

can't believe they are getting some of the best classically trained theater actors in the world to write this shit.

Ok! I finally finished Fire Emblem Echoes! Gonna share my thoughts on the game and stuff below. Of course there might be spoilers, I played this game almost blind except the stuff spoiled to me by FEH.

Here we goooo

Art and Voice Acting: 10/10 absolutely beautiful. I particularly love Berkut's he did an absolutely great job. Fernand also. VA also gave Mae and Boey some great and funny lines, really fleshed em out.

Gameplay

A lot different than I was used to. The previous game I played was FE10, which was much more similar to the other FE games I played (6, 7, 8, 9). Healing/spells use HP. One inventory slot. No durability. No item management. No rescuing. It was different but not unmanageable. I did miss rescuing though. You could heal by eating flour, though, which was neat.

I played on Normal/Classic bc I'm a filthy casual, I think I only got Mathilda killed (I legit didn't even notice. Maybe I autobattled through it? I normally rewind if some1 dies.) Most enemies do like 1dmg, biggest thing was being ganged up on.

Plot

Nothing groundbreaking but not terrible imo. Guys go north, beat up dragon, shenanigans along the way. The relationship b/n Alm & Celica felt forced, I don't think any 10yo (however old they were) act that lovey dovey, felt very fairytale predestined unrealistic. Plus the whole beginning part of "your station doesnt matter" but oh look Alm is secretly destined to be King and he has a magic mark that makes him the chosen one so yeah nvm your station totally matters, haha. If I suddenly found out I was to be king after like 17years of not, I'd be a lil more reluctant than he was. I know about the controversy of Celica giving her soul but I won't get into that. She felt pressured into it so it's whatever. The revival of Celica felt a bit contrived, but I guess they gotta get married somehow, huh.

Classes

Alm: kinda fell off mid game until I gave him the Blessed Bow. Bows felt better on him until he got the final Weapon(tm), but he wasn't very strong most game for me.

Celica: Pretty good early game for me, fell off around mid, used mostly as a healbot and Seraphim spammer for the zombie characters. Not bad but not notable imo. I didn't get her super special weapon apparently but she was just healbot and Seraphiming by end game.

Clerics/Mages/etc: Entirely healbots by the end for me, their magic wasn't strong enough (aside from Seraphim) to be useful and using HP to cast spells made them really not worth it for him.

Archers: Absolutely nuts. 5+ range on basic archers? And I thought Rolf was crazy. I had Kliff, Leon, Alm, and Python as my dedicated archers. Kliff was the best for me.

Mercenary/Myrmidons: Insane. Saber was insane. 47 consistent crit and always doubles? He could legit toe with the final boss for a bit. Crazy movement range too. I had he solo parts of the map he was so good.

Armor: Actually not bad. I didn't use them previous games bc they had too lil move and still got nuked by mages. Here mages aren't as bad and they made good tanks. Lukas is legit the best character in the game in terms of character. Ace rep hype, haha.

Conclusion

Uhh, anyway. I had a good time with the game. The dungeon crawling parts were a bit annoying and exhaustive, so I had to take breaks from those, but other than that it wasn't bad. I had a good time. The upgraded graphics and animations were definitely a step up from RD imo.

Okay I'll say it here, Why the fuck is everyone having a crush on Marinette? First, it was Nathaniel, then Nino, then Luka, then Adrien, and now Zoe?! I'm not one of those type of fans who point the Mary Sue gun at Marinette, but if majority of the cast have a crush on your main character, isn't that kinda a red flag when writing or developing your characters? What's next? Juleka's gonna have a crush on Marinette? Socqueline's gonna have a crush on Marinette? Alix?! Plagg?!

I get having at least 2 or 3 people crushing on Marinette, but the majority of the cast.............

But fine, just because I am pro Marinette doesn't mean I don't think there isn't flaws in her character...

Honestly anon, I am not sure why a good chunk of the cast has romantic interest in Marinette...Honestly the Miraculous writers certainly love to write on autopilot and they think romance is the most important part of the story.

But one of my pet peeves about this fandom is how people would give Marinette flack for issues that Adrien has as well...But even worse.

At the very least, Nathaniel, Nino, and Zoe got over their crushes on Marinette quickly...The only exception is Luka.

But with Adrien there is Chloe, Lila, and Kagami...And also that Adrien fanboy that seems like a creepy gay guy stereotype. Not to mention random background girls who swoon over Adrien. I mean perhaps it's more understandable because Adrien is a popular young model...But even then.

Not to mention I consider it a bigger red flag that everyone is obsessed with Adrien in this show. Like everyone has to talk about how absolutely sugoi Adrien and usually all the girl group does is talk about Adrien.

But hey, I guess that's the big double standard of fandoms...Female characters being called Mary Sues for stuff like having multiple admirers but male characters not getting the same treatment.

Also, I love how you mentioned that Adrien was the second to last person who took interest in Marinette. Like, I remember years ago Love Square stans getting upset at me and yelling at me that Adrien cared more about Marinette than Luka but Adrien didn't humor the idea of romancing Marinette until S5. And when he finally did it didn't feel earned...It just felt arbitrary because the writers felt if they didn't make Adrien and Marinette date now people would surely lose interest in the show. And yet, people are still eating out of the palm of Astruc's hand.

Len —> Axl: "Axl is amazing! His cooking is so good and delicious! Ooh, baking! Don't forget the baking! He may say he is not an expert of baking yet but I know for sure, it's taste good and delicious! Even Luka suddenly took a nap after finishing some of it!"

Axl —> Len: "Ah, brother of Rin. Unlike his sister, he does appear to be the calmer version of her but at the same time, the idea he gives seems a bit much, not the Miku kind of much but different kind much."

We took a trip to the North Shore!

On Monday Luka and I went to Duluth to go look for agates and visit the rock shop and eat mindblowingly good pie. The drive up was really nice--very long, but we listened to Stephen King's Fairy Tale on the way and it is very good so far--a kid named Charlie is isekai'd to another world where he plans to take this absolute SWEETHEART of an elderly dog to this magic sundial so she can be young and not arthritic anymore. That's all I know so far but it's been really good so far.

The only hitch in the whole trip was when we were looking for a place to look for rocks, and this crazy dog with no leash and no collar goes zooming into the road, and Luka slammed on the brakes, and the person behind us just barely slammed their breaks, and we ended up accidentally clipping the poor dog--there was a big wet splat of water and a bit of hair on the front, but no damage, and the dog just kept running without a thought in its dear little head and disappeared into some forestry that happened before the beach

So we went looking for the poor dog so we could tell its owners that we bumped it, and we never found the dog or its owner, but we thiiiink the dog is probably hopefully okay x_x

And while we were looking for dogs and people, we found out the area we were in was a perfect swimming spot, so we went down to the beach and luka got out his snorkeler and a really nice drunk lady gave us a heart shaped rock Luka found a bunch of really cool stuff! Sea glass and some kind of really lovely piece of terra cotta with a honeycomb pattern on it, and a big laker agate and a bunch of really interesting hunks of things with fascinating crystals and pretty streaks of things running through it--he can tell you much more. I found one that looks like a kitty!

And the lake was just lovely. There was a cute family of loons and people kayaking (including one woman who had her golden retriever sitting on the boat while she rowed) and one guy flew by on a motorized parachute and threw us the horns. 8)

Then we went home and wolfed down food and fell the heck over at the Motel 6, where in the morning we discovered Ellie had tried to make a nest on the floor:

We went to the culinary miracle that is Betty's Pies, where I had pancakes and luka had biscuits and gravy and we had phenomenal pie.

Then we got to go to the ROCK SHOP. :D

The folks running the store were INCREDIBLY nice and helped identify some of what Luka found in the lake the day before. I was fortunate enough to be able to nab some pretties at very reasonable prices (seriously these were like a few bucks each)

If I am remembering the labels correctly, I nabbed: a tiny slab of coral, then a lake superior agate, carnelian, citrine, green jasper, malachite, labradorite, dumortierite, sodalite, petrified wood, crazy lace agate, and amethyst. The neat little platform it's on came from a nearby goodwill and has a bunch of fossilized snails in it? IT WAS A BUCK FIFTY, HOW

But yes it feels nice to have pretties finally. <3 I also nabbed a fossilized clam and an opalized ammonite.

Aaand after that we were gonna visit the Temperance River, but then the sky opened up and munched on roadtrip snacks and listened to more audiobook while the rain pounded down, and when it cleared up we took pictures of the forest.

The highlight of our trip back was finding this billboard. Luka got off the southbound freeway, back on the northbound freeway, and back onto the southbound freeway, over a span of several miles, just to get this picture:

and now I'm hoooome and I've cuddled my kitty and I'm going to be a zombie for a little while

What an awesome time, though. I hadn't been on a roadtrip since we went with @kurloz38 and @misa-chu in June of 2018. @_@ (we gotta get you guys back up here!!) It was indescribably nice to get to swim and splurge on pretty things and enjoy a really good book.

My First Look At: Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix+

If anyone here has been wondering what's been eating up all my free time recently, it's been this game.. "Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix+" I don't know if I've mentioned this here, but my three favorite game types are actually ARPGs, Fighting Games and Rhythm games! And now I've found a really fun Rhythm game with Fashion elements!

Clearing songs, and improving your scores gets you points that you can use to unlock new outfits for the various characters, and there are a TON of choices:

Not only that, but you can even mix and match outfits and hair styles, to find something you think suits the look better.

(This changes the hair, and some face features such as makeup)

You'll have multiple accessory slots as well, and you can attach one item in each spot to further customize your look:

(Some of these are very silly, But they're fun to try out!)

I'ts really fun to try out various custom outfits when playing songs! You only get 4 'Custom slots' but for songs that have multiple singers, you'll be able to edit all of them, still only taking up a single slot.

The game only has one standard 'mode', with a few difficulty options. But you'll also have the option to practice specific parts, or you can watch a 'music video' of the song, where it plays its self with the hud removed. (show in the above gif)

As for the characters... I was never much of a miku fan before, Only hearing a few songs in other games, I never sought out her content. And while I won't break down all the characters, I will talk about my impressions of Hatsune Miku.

One game is not much to go on, but she definitely feels like one of those “Universal Appeal” characters, I'm by no means bother by that. But it just means they can't really give her any kind of personality,

On the other hand, it is nice to know that means they don't simply confine her to sticking with one style for her songs.

The game offers a wide range of Vocaloid music, each with a (swappable) lead singer.

And even though Miku's song's are mostly cute and up beat, there are a few edgier and slightly darker ones too. So I'd argue my opinion of Miku has improved overall, as before, I'd really only hear her more popular hits in 'Taiko no Tasujin', and just seeing her posted everywhere as gifs and avatars, I'm not sure if I'd call myself a 'huge Miku fan' but I am enjoying this game.

-- And, as for what character I played the most.. Well, If you've followed my content for any amount of time, You probably already know what type of characters I generally gravitate to:

It looks like Meiko is supposed to be the 'Cool Girl'/Mature Character, But much of her outfit selection feels a bit off to me:

(sorry for the small preview, it's just for reference) It looks like they wanted to give here the tomboy style personality, but they don't really have any outfits that match that, (...Okay, maybe I'm just projecting the personality I want on to her, but the But this game does not really give you a whole lot to go on..) Lots of 'cute' outfits, with only a few mature ones thrown in, (And some of the mature ones honestly feel a little generic) And then there's stuff like these, feels like the start of a good outfit, but then goes a little off the rails... (they look way too busy)

I have no problems with offering revealing outfits as an option, I've play games using some myself. But I just don't personally find these visually appealing. It really feels like they were too afraid to branch out with her outfit styles I really feel they should have given her better variety, or at least a specific style that stood out more from the rest. I'm not even sure what's going on with here 'modern' outfit (left) I feel they could have used some of the cool designs from luka (right)

But anyways, I really don't know anything about Vocaloid culture, maybe I missed the point, and this all perfectly fits Meiko's personality, IDK, (let me know in the comments) ..But I still work have preferred more options. --- Anyway, I've still been having a blast playing this game! and even though the fashion elements are fairly light, I still enjoyed them. Oh and just as a disclaimer, I was using a few QOL mods in this post, So be aware that some things (like having English subs) may be different from the vanilla game! Anyways, thanks for reading!
