I haven't actually done oc/canon things in years (for any fandom) but for some reason i've just been thinking about this a lot.

My idea is that Cream Milk Cookie got mixed up while looking for her brother, and instead of getting to Dragon Valley- she winds up in Dragon City. Where she meets this doofus, she's not impressed with him at first but (vague gesture) things happen. She gets the feels, despite her coldness. Though he doesn't realize it, somehow and she's too stubborn to confess anything.

He loves you so much! Watching you clean and do chores around the house when you were young as his parents paraded him around was something he enjoyed. He’d rather be left alone to have time with you but your parents didn’t care about you, they would never let him give you the time of day.

Even when you’d discovered the bloodied bodies of your mother and father and wept in his arms, he just stood and stared at them, face void of emotion as he pet your head and soothed you.

He didn’t feel any emotions. Except for one.

You never left his side after that. Both because of his insistence and you’re own hesitance. As you grew older, his warm flickering feelings grew to burning, raging fires. He’d always known of his feelings for you, and known that it was something he couldn’t act on. But your body had changed in time, hips perfectly wide, tummy soft and heavy, arms and thighs thick and begging to be squeezed and bitten.

When he’d been turned, your crying for him to not leave you was apparently so annoying Muzan gave you his blood as well, just to make you stop. He would often giggle about it in the future.

He wakes before you, both of you alone, and covered in blood. You looked like a painting. Gorgeous, clothing clinging to your skin by sweat and blood. Your chest was rising and falling, so you were alive. An urge took over him and he crawled over.

Brushing hair away from your face, wiping blood from your cheek. He ran it along his tongue and practically moaned. He straddled your waist and stared at you, eyes becoming low lidded as he admired you. When you started to squirm, trying to wake, he leaned down, pressing his chest to yours. He propped himself up on his elbows on either side of you and rested his chin on his interlocked fingers.

“Good morning sister~” he giggles, “or, rather, I should say ‘good evening’.” Your eyes widened and you placed your hands on the tops of his shoulders and began to push. “Oh, why the fuss? You’re fine. Nothing can hurt my sweet little sister now~” he leans down the rest of the way, and places a kiss on your nose.

Life continued on, close to how it was before, in your ‘paradise’. But your brother grew touchy. Sitting you in his lap, rubbing his hands on your thighs and up your sides. He’d rest his chin on your shoulder, even as he spoke to the humans coming to him and seeking guidance.

As time passed, his more ‘human’ ideals faded, and he’d soon forgotten why he doesn’t just show you how you make him feel. He’d gone out to find you, though you weren’t very far. When he called you, you came over immediately. So obedient. Almost immediately he swept you up into his arms. He’d do so every so often, so you weren’t surprised until he pressed his lips to yours.

You pushed his chest and gasped, meanwhile he pouted and his brow raised. “What, am I not allowed to show you my appreciation for you?”

You kept your hands on him, keeping him as far as his arms around you would allow. “But why did you kiss me?” Doma almost looks confused, head tilting slightly. “Why shouldn’t I?” His arms loosened up just slightly, enough for you to keep yourself off of his chest. “Doma, you’re my brother. You can’t just do that!”

He paused, before letting out a giggle. “Oh little sister, what a human thing to say.” As your eyes widened he kissed you again, harder, holding you tight to his body. You squirm, try and push him away, but his nails pulling at the back of your clothes caused you to freeze as you heard them rip. You let his tongue invade your mouth as he pushed ruined clothes aside and laid you down.

His hands began to roam as he lips caressed every part of you he’d been dying to since before you were demons. You let him continue, there was no point fighting him. Maybe it would just be for now, you thought. But as things progressed further, and you couldn’t keep in your moans and sighs as he rocked into you, you started to consider what he said.

Who would care. If you were found you could always eat them. Doma would be happy to do so. Nothing truly mattered as you are now.

And doma could see it in your eyes as you bit your lip, began to writhe pleasantly beneath him, and tilted your head up. His teeth grazed your neck as your nails pierced his. Licking up your blood as it pooled, and watching your own tongue peak out from your lips to catch the drops of his own that fall to them.

So not to sound like an old maid amongst y'all but I've been reading a lot of fanfics lately involving SonAmy (because childhood nostalgia bby) and I couldn't help but notice that in a lot of them the way Sonic and Amy's relationship is written is kinda along the lines of:

Amy's only goal is chasing Sonic while Sonic wants absolutely nothing to do with her and avoids being around her at all costs.

Which depending on the fic could work really well in like the angst department and all that jazz. But I can't help but feel a little bit.....saddened that this is how their relationship is perceived especially back in the early 2000s of SonAmy fanfiction. Like there's so much more to these two than just Amy chasing Sonic and Sonic running away ya know?

Amy Rose while her dream is to marry Sonic, it's not the only thing that she literally strives for nor focuses on. Amy also strives to help her friends and loved ones, she strives to get stronger not only for them but for herself as well. She's a flirty, fun and bubbly person who loves to bake and chat with her friends and go on adventures and she daydreams of romance from time to time. She's also determined to do what's right and she follows her heart and puts everything she has into everything she does. She's a big sister to Cream and she's a kind hearted person who's always willing to give people a chance. Amy is so many things and in earlier works of fanfiction she's often times reduced to nothing more than a fangirl who's always chasing Sonic. It's kinda sad when it seems like that's all she's known for.

And then there's Sonic. Sonic's main goal is to go on adventures and save the world and protect his loved ones from evil as well as the innocents of the world. He doesn't really say much word wise in the feelings department yet his actions speak for him and his actions show that he loves his friends to death. He can be stubborn and hard headed and a bit rude yet underneath it is an introverted, and somewhat awkward, jokester dork who loves chili dogs and running and seeing the beautiful things that the world has to offer. He keeps his personal feelings to himself yet he's also willing to step out of that comfort zone if he really needs to. He's got a strong sense of justice and what's right and wrong and a sense of responsibility for those who he protects. He gets awkward around emotional stuff and tends to avoid a lot. Just like Amy, Sonic's many things and has so many parts to him that makes him who he is yet in the early days of fanfiction he's reduced to the boy who runs away from Amy and like with her it's also kinda sad.

And that's not the only thing but it's their relationship too in these things. There's so much more to their relationship than just girl chases boy while boy awkwardly runs away. Sonic and Amy's relationship is a complicated one, and it too is full of many things other than those details.

They're known to be rather close friends, and when things get tough they lean on each other just as they do with their other friends. They share an understanding of sorts when it comes to their relationship and friendship, with Amy being the one who's more vocal while Sonic is the one who's more in the actions department. They care deeply for each other and if I remember correctly in one game manual it's even stated that they're best friends just like Sonic and Tails are. So they like and get along with each other well enough to maintain that kind of friendship between them. It's the little things between them that shows how their relationship works and how complex and deep it is. Like for example Sonic X and Sonic Unleashed we see hints of their relationship and just how it works.

While Sonic doesn't show it often he does appreciate Amy and the things she does for him. Like in the beach episode of Sonic X when she'd made the lucky charm bracelet for him. While he didn't say it out loud it was quite clear in his expression that he was touched by her thoughtfulness in her gift to him. He's so touched in fact that he keeps the bracelet on his wrist underneath his glove so he doesn't lose it while adventuring. And during the battles in the show it's also again made clear how much he appreciates Amy's presence when he relies on her to have his back and in return she does the same. And then there's Sonic Unleashed where once again it's shown how much he appreciates the things she does when she comforts him about his werehog form and let's him know that he's still Sonic in her eyes.

It's that little reassurance that puts him more at ease with it. And then her believing in him even when it seems like it might be impossible. Her encouragement and confidence in him make him in a way feel more ready to take things on when you talk to her in the game.

And then there's Sonic Lost World where at the end of the game Amy sends him a final message before the connection is cut off. As soon as it's cut off Sonic gets instantly upset and somewhat panicky when he can't hear her or Knuckles anymore. It's obvious that he cares about her just like she cares about him, though whether it's romantic or platonic is completely up to us and only known to Sega themselves. Sonic and Amy are connected in a way and they would quite literally take on the world for each other just as they'd do for Tails, Knuckles, Cream and their other friends and loved ones.

It's just idk man it just makes me a little saddened knowing that there's so much to these two and back in the earlier days of fanfiction they were somewhat reduced to only the tiny parts of their actual personalities. Now side note I do enjoy these fanfics I've read and each one of them is a wonderful piece of fiction in their own ways, but I just wanted to talk about this one thing that I'd noticed while reading them.

sure I don't mind whoever going "also [character] likes to knit in their free time" or similar, thats whatever thats cool, I like the little tidbits of information that has no reason or room to be included in the offical media, things you can take or leave and it doesnt matter, but for actual big shit that will impact the character/story and how the veiwer interprets it?? absolutely not.

goes the opposite way too. if something makes its way through the entire editing process and is published, then its part of canon. once again not talking about little things like a character in a comic having six fingers in a panel, but actual writing choices, things about the character or plot. if a character Says something, then they said it. even if the creator goes "oh my bad that was a mistake". especially if to find out it was a mistake you have to actively search it up to realise it was a mistake

oh my god, i was trying to remember the couple of mountains goats genius annotations that made me really mad a while ago and i couldn't remember them, but i was just listening to zopilote machine so NOW i remember one of them.
