This was totally done on my own, with only help from my dad making the scythe. It also did not go exceptionally smoothly, but I was really happy with how it all came out!
Sadly, this costume is retired as well, but I still have my scythe. 😊
==========
Wig is Amphgory's Innocent; styled by me (used Katie Bair's hot water method to straighten). Coat with lining is made by me. I used the Simplicity 4014 pattern for it, but altered it and it's fully lined. I made it to have that built-in swoosh to the bodice and the bottom, pointed part has wire in it to hold the shape! Her buttons are the kind that you put fabric over, but since they needed to metal, I cut the fabric away to get the right material White shirt was bought. Tie is actually a "Harry Potter" Slytherin tie. Vest from Land's End. I had to modify it slightly to be more form fitting to my bodice. Skirt was made by me; plaid was painted on using fabric paint and masking tape. Gloves made by me from scratch although I want to redo them to make them slightly bigger. Shoes are made with Demonia Combat-208 boots as base. Used Velcro to keep belts on. Belts are made from white pleather. Scythe-Soul was made from PVC pipe and plywood with the help of my awesome father. I painted it. It's detachable so it's fits in the cab of a little car.
