I've been thinking so much about the comfort of scent lately... the way your f/o just melts when they nuzzle in the crook of your neck and breathe you in. how safe you feel when you borrow their shirt and it still smells like them. the familiar aroma of your shampoo on their pillowcase making them yearn for you when you're not there. the way when you're out by yourself and pass by something random--maybe it's a coffee shop, a flower or fruit stand, the fragrance counter in a department store, a gas station--the aroma makes you think of them just because you know they like it, or it smells like them, or it simply reminds you of a time you two spent together... 🩷

Not all days start or even go as intended – Getting too late out of bed, missing public transportation, forgetting to pack something for lunch, arriving late to school or work, something important slipping your mind… All minor inconveniences yet they keep happening to you more and more during the day.
