6 Anti LO Asks

1. With the whole “Hades doesn’t defend Minthe” we see in a flash back he wait until they’re at Hebe’s birthday to start the fight about her outfit/waits until they’re there when he’s known for most of the car ride Minthe is mad about the comments on the outfit

Hades may say “stop” when Hera was talking, but it was more for him being passive in my opinion than defending

Hera calls Minthe “nymph trash” a couple times and hades never says “no she’s not” it’s all hollow.

The other thing is Zeus never calls Minthe by her name it’s “minty” because he’s unsure. Which tells me Hades never corrects his brother. They both met Minthe at the same time and you think Zeus would know her name since Hades was planning on proposing.

And then how he treats her. We know Minthe doesn’t like being seen with Hades, but Hades treats her the same way. Who made their relationship official on fates book? Minthe? How does Hades comment? “Don’t use the computer on company time”.  Which is enough said. Though everyone knows about Hades and Minthe, Minthe actually grows to show that she’s proud/happy in the relationship while Hades doesn’t (telling Thetis/fates book/ ending it with Thantos) but hades shows no happiness for the relationship.

And we actually get to see for a split second that Minthe actually values Hades as not a lover but as someone she spends a lot of time with because with the Thetis and her drinking that starts their break up-Hades tells Minthe Thetis isn’t a good friend and guess what, Minthe does listen to that and throws that in Thetis’ face.

However with Hades, it seems like Minthe doesn’t really affect his life. He doesn’t think about her, he pushes her out of his head and focuses on the next thing (Persephone) Yeah he gives Minthe another chance, but she went back to him. He goes to her on her suspension to make the brea up offical and to let her know about her job status and apartment. It just seems like we’re told Hades loved Minthe but we’re shown that’s not the case. Literally it looks like Hades uses Minthe as an accessory, a talk piece so he’s more interesting than he seems or that he just has someone to talk to in the car, but he didn’t treat her like a gf/partner/whatever in a lot of the stuff we’re shown.

2. Remember when Minthe was suppose to be flat and jealous of Persphones curves and then right before she turned into a plant Minthe had a whole new body?

3. Daphne and Thanatos were the only interesting couple in this entire dumpster fire.

4. the only reason LO seems still ongoing is because RS wants as much money as she can get out of it. Rachel claims her original plan was under 100 episodes, but now it's verging into 200+ with no end in sight, and most of it can be cut with nothing lost because so much of it is just filler and convoluted nonsense. it makes me not respect her as a creator, because it seems way more about the money as this point, not having a passion for creating (as we see in the degraded art) or telling a story.

5. Idk Megara’s myth BUT in the hades game she has a kick ass design. In LO I’m confused. Again I don’t know the myth but in different modern telling I know Meg is kinda like LO’s Hectate (close with hades but not a love interest and kickass) BUT in LO she’s an employee whose not actually close with Hades, is in love with Hades, but when Hades first got to the underworld she was part of the crowd who laughed at him and is now somehow all small and meek around him. Idk I just wish she had more to do in the story now instead of being used to show us “see Persephone gets along with other female characters that don’t root for HXP”

6. Persphone and Hades kiss in one chapter and then in the next Persphone goes to Minthe to be like “teach me how to use the computer or I’m tattling” and then tells Minthe that HXP isn’t a thing even tho they kissed the night before.

Persphone: “I’m black mailing your for tricking me to going to tower 4”

Minthe “I’m gonna report you for murdering mortals”

He didn’t want this. Yaku didn’t want you to leave him and while he understood your reasoning, he didn’t understand why. Why can’t we try? Why can’t you let him learn? Why can’t you stay together?

Yaku walks around your-- no his apartment, in a rhythm. Like he’s the ghost, here not you. Passing the fridge, remembering how you always made sure he had his favorite blue gatorade stocked. The trace of your lavender scented candle you always had lit in the hallway. He stops in his tracks, thinking the shadow in the bathroom was you, doing your detailed skin routine. 

You always used to tell him that he needs to take better care of his skin. Thinking about your recommendations he absentmindedly runs his fingers over his cheek, just like you used to do. Yaku stops his gentle pattern when he feels a warm tear splash into his thumb. It doesn't matter what he wants, it matters what he did, what happened between you two.

March 2, 2020

In the spring, the two of you were cleaning up dinner around this time, having a cup of tea to relax from the long day. Well, that's what should have been happening. Instead you were giving him the cold shoulder, and he wasn’t pressing it. You weren’t even sure if he noticed, as you were the one who had been initiating all the conversations recently. 

Yaku asks from the living room if you wanted to watch a movie with him. “Of course love! I’ll be there in a second.” Yes, you sat together and laid in the same bed, but you don’t remember the last time he complimented you, or the last time he told you he loved you. Well, the last time he said I love you that wasn’t when he was cumming. You took a moment to gather yourself, wiping the stray tears out of your eyes, and head out to your boyfriend sitting on the couch

He gives you what should have been a heartwarming smile, but it does nothing for you. He shifts so you can sit closer to him if you chose, but you opt for the armchair, tucking your legs under you. A brief conversation regarding movie choice ensues, and y’all decide on Disney’s Hercules, one of your childhood favorites.

By the time Megara gets to her solo, you are almost at the brink of tears.  Turning to him, you ask “Morisuke, do you love me?” The silence following your question as he stares you at you dumbfounded is broken by the sound of the movie. 

Yaku, takes a second to answer, not because he doesn’t love you and is unsure how to break it, but rather, just due to confusion on how you didn’t know how deep his love is for you. Did he not do enough to show you? Did he not spend enough time with you? He knows volleyball takes a lot of his time, but almost all of the rest is spent with you? Was he neglecting your needs?

As you got up to head to the bedroom, silent tears streaming down your face, he called out to you, “Do you really not know that I love you?” His question is genuine, but you hear it as condescending. How could you not know I love you when I never say it? When we just sit in silence together?

You turn around, no longer heartbroken but angry. Angry that you waited this long to ask the question, angry that he never saw what you needed, just angry at him for being him. Yaku still doesn’t seem to know what's going on, but he knows that the look on your face wasn’t a good one. 

He moves over to you slowly, in an effort to not startle you, and takes your hands in his. Before he could bring them up to his trembling lips for a kiss you pull away. “No, Morisuke. This can’t be fixed by kissing my hands. This,” gesturing around both of you, your shared apartment, what should have been your shared life, “can’t be fixed.” 

“Y/N! Stop, let's talk at least! Don’t just go to the bedroom and shut me out. I don’t know why this is happening, can you please tell me how you are feeling? I--”

“Morisuke, I’m not the one with a problem professing their love.” 

The beginning of blows dealt back and forth on your last night together. Each one hitting harder than the last, leaving you both gasping for air, tears washing way the relationship you two had built. The hardest part, the strike that ended it all, was both of you knew that neither of you were really in the wrong, it was, his love, your love, just wasn’t enough.

You must finally have published your first post-grad paper, Yaku muses as he thumbs through the mail, stopping on a piece addressed to you from Geological Journal. It would make sense you are done about now. I couldn’t be prouder that you actually got something into this journal. 

A quick google search brings up a panel where you are discussing the findings of your paper. With that, Yaku grabs his keys and heads out the door.

“-- debris from the Sudbury Impact can be found over 800km away from Ontario. We expect that the debris was actually scatter globally but has eroded away over the 1.8 billion years post impact,” you give a light chuckle, but it's caught in your throat as you see Yaku standing in the back of the room, with a look that you could only classify as affection and pride. 

You can’t forget the hurt on Yaku’s face when you told him you were leaving, but you will never forget the shooting pain from the knife in your back as he told you that you were dead to him. You know he didn’t want the relationship to end, but, if I’m dead to you why are you here now? If you loved me, why would you say things that would drive me away?

A singular tear runs down your cheek as you see him, you killed me but it killed you just the same. An oblivious observer would think your tear is from happiness regarding your achievement, but you know and Yaku knows that's not the case.

As he sees the light catch off the drop running down your cheek, he knows that it’s done. You haven’t broken eye contact so you see him nod and mouth what you think was “I’m proud of you, love,” and head out the door for the last time.

Where do we even start?

Seriously, we’ve just managed to get rid of our hangovers and can barely remember everything that went down at homecoming this year.  

Before we start though, can we just bring attention to Drizzy’s date for the evening? Hercules?  He’s new, and maybe he didn’t know he was there with her (he’s a bit daft), but they looked kind of amazing together.  Keep your eyes out for him ladies.  We saw him trying to chat up Megara at one point, but she was too busy trying to get Nasty’s future husband Cal’s attention to actually notice.

Speaking of Megara though, we’re pretty  sure she must have convinced Hades to whip up an attraction potion or something for here because she seemed to garner the attention of not just Hercules and Hans, but Mr. Tall Dark and Handsome Hades himself.  What’s our dear sister going to think when she finds out her “secret” lover is not so secretly into someone else?

We hope she cries.

Honestly, we were both a bit surprised and disappointed by the lack of tears at this year’s ball.  Ariel may have whimpered a bit when she realized that Cindy was stealing her date, but that’s what happens when you lead on more than one guy at a time and expect them to still be interested when you’re not going to put out.

Maybe we should go back and put that last statement in bold so some of our other readers will know they have to pay attention.  We’re talking to you, Tinkerbell.  How long do you think it’s going to take Hook to realize you’re only interested in him when Peter stops paying attention to you?  Did you have to pay him to kiss you during your slow dance just to make sure Pan wouldn’t try to fuck his Princess Ariel?

Pathetic.

Too bad Pan was more interested in Hook, anybody could have told you that was going to happen.  Sadly for Pan, Hook only seems to care about Smee.  We’re proud of his win, of course, though we’re sure he only won because Gaston was spending too much time in our dorm room to actually campaign properly.

We have to give some credit though.  Even if we hate her on principle, Ursula managed to surprise us with that scandalous dress that undoubtedly ended up on Gaston’s floor after the Alpha party.  It was almost as cute as ours were, so kudos for that we guess.

The dance’s after party was just as full of drama as the actual dance.   Apparently Flynnpunzel is polyamorous now, if that whole dance routine they did with Jack Sparrow is any indication.  Our bet is that Punz just needed her ex to hold her hand while she actually tried to step out of her safety net, but who knows anymore.  We have it on good authority that our least favorite couple but not a couple got down and dirty by the wishing well a few days before the dance (Source: Prince Phillip’s Horse), and despite Sparrow’s efforts, they left alone, so maybe they should reevaluate their relationship status before they waste all of our time.

(EDIT: Sources say Rider and Sluterella were getting down in the back of the library... waiting on Belle to confirm, stay tuned.)

Other people who should reevaluate things?  Ariel.  Not only is she sending us a constant amount of “anonymous” mail about how many guys are fighting for her, but she’s badmouthing all the girls their men have deemed better than her, too.  One look at Shang’s face throughout the whole evening (it’s that thing above his abs) could have told anybody how bored he was, and even her favorite lapdog Aladdin took a monkey to the dance rather than try to steal her from his friend.  Maybe there is such a thing as bro code after all?

How else would you explain the fact that Smee more than likely got his cherry popped?  All his Alpha Bros. stayed away from his date so he could finally get his chance to get it in.  We saw little Miss Mulan “I suddenly have awesome tits” Fa going up to his room and not coming back down, so survey says they definitely banged.  

Other surprises?  Aladdin and Maleficent leaving together on his carpet.   We’re not confirming this, but we’re pretty sure that carpet was waiting on her balcony for quite a bit of time.  Maybe her upstairs neighbor Pan can confirm if he saw it on his way back.  Tink disappeared on him, and while we sincerely doubt Pan went home alone, we’re pretty sure he likes showing off how swanky his building is when he brings new girls home with him, so there’s a chance he might have noticed.

We give the night a 6/10 as far as good times go.  Sluterella fixing the results of the vote so she’d win again is getting fucking old, and with the amount of drama that happens at these things and the fact that the alcohol is FREE, there should be far more fighting than there actually is.

Okay! What's the situation with PLLOS? As someone relentlessly pro-PLL and anti-unnecessary reboots, I fully expected to ignore it and live my life, but some of the attention it's getting on Tumblr is intriguing???

They switched up the genre to horror instead of just drama & mystery, which makes the show make more sense. It does have some cringe riverdale lines. (The Producer is RAS aka riverdale’s producer) But the storyline is more intense and cripping (though potentionally very triggering) at first the 2 episodes was okay imo. but it deff got better! I started to be really attached to the characters.

They deff have more of a Bond like pll s1-s2. and dont get me wrong i was a bit nervous about the reboot too. Pll was my life as an early teen, and it got ruined so bad. I would deff rec it!

Actually i can agree with you there! That one i dont think of as Cartoon adult funny.

(I mostly associate adult cartoons like: south park, Rick and morty, family guy, american dad. big mouth, disenchanted, the Simpsons etc) like some have great lines. but something about how they are drawn creeps me out. & the Simpsons traumatized me based on 1 episode i watched.
