I believe that the entire party hates the cold. Murray, Hopper, and Joyce hate it because of Russia; Will, Nancy, Eddie, Steve, and Robin hate it because of the upside down; Erica, Dustin, Steve, and Robin because of the Russian base/ ice cream parlor; El because of the bath; and the remainder of the party because a lot of shit went down around the cold time of year. Also Argyle hates it because he’s from California. I have other reasons in Reblogs. Also, El doesn’t like it because she was alone in the winter before Hop found her and so not only is she sad that she was alone, but before Hopper was found again, she got sad because it reminded her she didn’t have him again.

looking for an old byler fic i just remembered:

pretty sure this universe has something with soulmates and you can find them by tasting something at the same time? maybe it was specifically a sour or bitter taste, not sure.

will and mike are at what I think was a welcome party or first party at college. I *think* they were friends before. mike tastes a sip of a drink, I think it was sour because of lemon juice inside. will immediately tastes the drink, but mile turns to el overjoyed (dont know why). that’s about where it ended or I stopped reading.

I’m pretty sure this came out before season 3, could even possibly be before season 2 but I doubt it.

Man I never care much about Lumax but after season 4 anybody can deny they’re so cute and healthy. Lucas respects a lot Max’s boundaries and never crossed the line but he’s always so supportive with her and tries so hard to show her he’s gonna be there if she needs anything. What a healthy dynamic, is so refreshing, specially when you think about Mileven ALWAYS having trust issues and problems or that stupid love triangle between Jonathan, Nancy and Steve. I’m rooting for Lumax since now, the only ones i really ship in this show besides Joyce and Hopper.

I was just thinking.

You know how it's pretty obvious that Vecna knows who Mike is and how important he is to El and Will right?

And how that might make him a target?

But what if it's the opposite. Vecna knows all their powers run on emotions, positive and negative. If Venca hurt or did something to Mike, wouldn't that just be giving fuel to his enemies? A strong emotion to capitalize on and become stronger?

Not saying Vecna would ignore Mike, but maybe a smarter villain move is to not hurt Mike. Maybe shut him up somehow, but not kill him?
