I know I posted the WIP before, but I don't think I posted the finished product last night (and it I did... uh.... Oopsies.)

I wanted to try my hand at doing something more detailed, and I really like how it turned out! It was actually much easier to draw the hair shape correctly while focusing on the individual strands, so I'll probably start doing this more often.

And also the face shape turned out so well?? I really need to figure out something better for my 3/4 and straight on portraits but this is definitely great for side view (ears still suck btw. Will report back when ears don't suck anymore)

It isn't perfect, but I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

And in case anyone saw the previous post about it, who it is is under the cut

I wanted to try my hand at creating a real world appearance for Encephalon! I know there's like. Zero information on him, but I wanted to pick him up for writing despite that. I'm having to fill in a lot of details myself, but I think it'll be fun using him in my threads!

There’s a f!Roe member of the Maelstrom stationed in Outer La Noscea who uses a *ton* of flirtatious endearments while you’re talking to her. With a very definite Southern flavor to her flirts :D

So I had to collect them, lol.

She starts off with: “Honey-faced one”

“My wild rose” (plus back in the mood, lol.)

“Honeysuckle”

“Bright eyes”

“Sweet thing”

“Dear heart” AND “Crumpet”

The second quest text is suggestive on its own lol.

Back to “Sweet thing” (this entire one is hilariously suggestive.)

And “Good lookin’”

For those who aren’t aware, a coeurl is a large cat, aka another term that’s a euphemism, lol.

Well now I've gotta ask what kinda life the person transformed into a ViewMaster's got nowadays.

A difficult one. There isn't a lot he can physically do, and he relies on others to help him with daily activities. That's something a certain protagonist is gonna have to learn - everyone relies on each other in Toyland. Everyone has their handicap.

the thing about people who tend to be really into villains is like. I have no moral issue with this. My problem is that you get people who are like yeah I love VILLAINS I'm VILLAINOUS and EDGY. And then when you're like ok cool anyway I think this villain does bad things, in the narrative, which to be clear, is their purpose, and I have again no moral issue because this is pretend and a story, they're like "no? my shmoopy? would NEVER. my sweet villain baby who has never done wrong? I love them because they're evil but if you say they're evil i'm going to scream and scream and scream." and also if you make any jokes about the villain they're like "actually this is deeply insulting to them because they had trauma in their life? You're so mean to my murder puppy" and like. The true secret is most villain stans just want to fuck the villain. And again. I have no moral issue with this. I support it, even. But I wish they would thoroughly lean into that desire for the villains instead of scouring the fandom and throwing a tantrum whenever people are like "wow I think the bad person character is sorta bad and here's a meme about it"

So, we can infer from the Speak with Dead thing and various interactions with Rolan that he has some issues accepting that he's worthy of being Cal and Lia's brother.

It's also DnD canon that two non-tiefling parents that have a tiefling kid will sometimes abandon that child.

So what if Rolan has these issues cause he had non-tiefling parents that disowned him for being a tiefling?
