Accidents can happen, and sometimes they can be angry at each other but at the end of the day, there's love and a will to communicate after they both have calmed down enough. I have absolutely no idea why I've become obsessed with a fic out of anything one could obsess with, but SBJ's More Than Human is like a drug to me.

I won't get into the awkward detailing, to save myself from embarrassment, but I've been following the fic since 2014. SBJ has no idea how much of an inspiration her work has been for me.

All of that's to preface, I know MTH is a ship fic, so adding my characters is messy and junky happies for myself. I respect and adore the fic for what it is originally, and adding my characters is just me being silly.

Onward, to Bella.

I have this running joke of Lillian calling Bella "A wannabes Buttercups" It's a poke at how similar I've made Bella to her.

Perhaps I've read sbj's essays on the greens way too many times because Buttercup's entire persona rubs off on Bella. From the "tough girl" trope, to the "only befriending guys" idea.

Can you tell, I think MTH Buttercup is super cool?

Well I thought it'd be totally wicked to up the antee. So "boom" add a shit load of Butch into a Buttercup 'stand in' and "bwam" there you go, Bella.

ok, I’m bi, I know for a fact I’m not confused 😏😏. I like guys and also girls. I knew since I was 11, maybe when 12 when I realised, “hmmm I ain’t straight”.

Middle school(secondary school) rolls by and it’s been really difficult, I think, making male friends cus I really dk how to approach them cus I feel very very very awkward when I talk to guys(especially the cute ones🤓🤓), which would kinda expose my sexuality yk. So I don’t talk to guys, which means I mostly have female friends. Which again, is kinda sus. But uk, teenagers always like to joke about being gay and all, so naturally I did so too, except I’m not joking, but people think I am, so alls good.

I’ll share a story that absolutely broke my heart when I was 14. So I had this girl best friend, she was my desk mate, we had a lot of fun laughing in class and the jokes I said and made about our teacher. We were so close to the point where we would play games together and she would share with me about all her crushes. It’s as if I was her confidant, and I was happy playing that role because who wouldn’t HAHA, and ig I liked her. And there was this guy in our class which was cute, tanned, smooth skinned, skinny and veiny. he was someone that I sometimes would play games with but not that close as to talk to each other everyday, but I had a crush on him :).And of course, god decides that both of them should date. When I knew my heart instantly shatter, it felt so heavy like I was sleeping under a weighted blanket. Double the heartbreak of a normal person. I didn’t cry though, cus I know no one would actually like me(I was fat). I kinda just accepted it.

But 2 years down the road, I lost weight and I’m just thinking, can I ever find love? cus I would dream of cuddling my ukw, fake falling asleep just to lay on their shoulder while watching a movie, laying on their chest and interlocking our fingers. All the cute things ‘normal’ couples would and can do. But I’ll wake up every morning, facing the plain white ceiling, and just thinking to myself, okay another day another round of hiding myself from the world, yay☹️. For the opinion Thing, Stan and Mitch of course 😏 you can do either Stan, either Mitch or both as you wish 😃

I at first did a color coded thing but realized that honestly I share the same thoughts on them lolll. (But decided to keep the color coordination anyway) So basically:

I’d first be afraid of them in the sense that “oh shit they’re robbers idk who they are” but if I got to learn about them I really wouldn’t be that scared afterwards. They’d probably intimidate me though still.

Their designs make my head go brrr I love it. I also love how expressive they are despite wearing full on masks.

Blorbos. They’re not always in my head but I hold them near and dear to my heart. I will carry them both in a tiny bag like a dog. (I was gonna say Mitch more so but ya know what Stan can be there too, I also love him that much.

Simultaneously, they’re both complicated characters in the sense that they are so goal driven to protect Sonya and are willing to do anything for her, even though she seemingly hasn’t hanged out with them in a long time. But it doesn’t matter to them as they still love her unconditionally. I imagine there’s some angst to dive into them with their home life and how they always looked out for her and the possible dilemma with her being famous and them being infamous, and how they have a lesser life than her but they don’t mind it. And on that note…it’s also not that deep they probably just like robbing lol.

They’re good bois. Never done anything wrong ever when you really think about it (/j). I mean, they are otherwise morally good, that should count for something?

I miss them too!! I think about them all the time and it makes me so happy that y’all do too🥺

They’re having so much fun this tour so far! I imagined that the entirety of Love On Tour was being treated as a duel tour - so both Harry and Tiny were the main performers! It would make traveling with their kids so easy and fans would absolutely eat up being able to see both of them in one night! Plus whoever the opener is! So the “Love” in Love On Tour has like a double meaning since it’s the two of them together! Being back home for shows has been nothing short of amazing and they are soaking up all the time with friends and family! Especially because there’s so many people who want to see the kiddos which means so many opportunities for babysitters and time for them to be alone😏

But they’re also really enjoying all the time together! They spent a lot of time apart when Harry was filming his films (Tiny and kids went to visit for a bit on both but nothing too long) so having him be back with them full time is wonderful. And she loves hearing all about the films and sneak peaks and such! Since Tiny is touring with Harry atm, she isn’t doing any photography or other big side projects, so she absolutely lovesss having the chance to stay “home” with them all the time and watch them grow and just soak in everything before their lives get crazy busy again! Especially because life on the road has always been their norm and she - and Harry - loves seeing how the kids interact with the crew and everything that has to do with putting on an show! Plus hanging out with Sarah and Mitch’s son is always the best😂❤️

The couple has definitely talked about adding more children to the mix! but not anytime soon that’s for sure! They absolutely adore Bella and Ro/Theo but three is crazy enough to be looking after while traveling so much! And with Bella starting in person school next year, Tiny does not have the ability to take care of the three kids at home while also pregnant - and if one of them has to be called away on short notice fora quick project or something, they don’t want to miss any part of a pregnancy! So they’re waiting to finish their big tours and then will look at starting to try for another!

Overall, they are in a state of bliss and just so happy at the moment, living out so many dreams and goals and they’re just loving every second of every day!❤️

I am loving getting to know more about Jake through his family. I think it's great that he is able to use his newfound baseball knowledge (oh and professional baseball boyfriend) to bond with Jade. You can tell John truly is an amazing dad who has done everything he can for those kids.

Bradley may have started the water fight, but Cyclone and Bob sure ended it, which was fantastic.

Go team for shutting down Bradley's insecurities, especially with at least Phoenix and Bob (and I'm assuming Javy) knowing that Jake is literally waiting for him back at the hotel.

THE SURPRISE HAPPENED

Idk why but I just didn't see Jake in this universe as someone who really takes control but damn you proved me wrong with this and it was HOT until....Mav. However, him apologizing to Jake in person was needed and Bradley got to find out that he orchestrated getting Jake there early which was sweet.

Pride means a lot to me. As a bisexual, female-presenting individual married to a cis, straight man, my queerness is often overlooked. A friend recently asked what characteristics of mine that I gave Val, and gender/sexuality are a big part of that. I've always had a complicated relationship with gender. I hated dresses and clothes shopping; loved sports and GI Joe and He-Man. I kinda liked Barbie though, but mostly for storytelling, not dress up. I never hated being a girl; I was just... different. I'm still different. I never developed a habit for makeup. I stopped shaving ages ago. Sometimes I embrace my femme side and wear florals and show off my curves (and hairy legs); sometimes it's the opposite. It depends on the day. Some days I have no gender and plan an amorphous blob wearing sweats and a hoodie if I have to leave the house.

Despite this, I always held claim to the word "woman". I'd fought to make a space for myself, someone who defied the physical gender expectations, and didn't want to give that up. But now, after playing with both versions of Val and getting to express myself through her, I know I'm not just a woman, but more. And more.

When I started my job last year, I made the big step of adding "she/they" as my pronouns. One of the managers asked if I had a preference between the two, and I said that either was fine. Usually people default to "she", and I don't mind because of the reasons I mentioned previously.

More than anything, "they" is a flag shouting my queerness; that I'm a woman and. Especially now, as other people try to gatekeep womanhood; to decide who can call themselves a woman. Self harm scars

Now this I didn’t know before doing this post. Saul has two thick vertical dark red marks on his wrists that look a lot like old self harm scars. You can see an invisible line between his arms and hands.

I tried to find if other main npcs had those marks, but I didn’t find anyone yet. All the veins I saw on the bodies are blue. 

The colors of his bruises also match the colors of the marks.

It could be storyline related since Saul seems to have a very troubled family past and struggles with depression. 😭😭😭

He wears a leather bracelet on his right wrist, but you can remove it with AMM and it’s the same marks on both sides.

Pretty veiny arms though.

Pretty sure I found the exact actor a while ago they used for inspiration. They probably made Diarmaid Murtagh (his VA) study the actor’s voice cause they sound incredibly similar. [Mitch] steps into the apartment, again feeling out of place. He decides to take her up on the offer and orders a coffee from the vending machine, then pulls out a stool at the bar and waits. The quality of the coffee disappoints him—bitter and burnt—but then he’s been spoiled by camp coffee his whole adult life.

He glances around the penthouse as he waits. It looks the same as it did before, everything in perfect place. He wonders if she even lives here because the place feels sterile. He’s not sure he’s seen anything that looks remotely like her.

A set of matching suitcases wait by the elevator—four of them, matte black with shiny silver accents, two large and two smaller.

This was an interesting one because of the homonyms, and I had "wind" as in twisting, but I was hoping for "wind" as air current, and I found one in the corpo longfic!

Her eyes crinkle as the smile returns and his breath quickens, and as an excuse to look away he digs his cigarettes from his pockets. He leans back on the couch and exhales smoke at the tent ceiling. She makes no moves to fill the silence and he’s thankful. They’ve sat in silence plenty on her visits to camp, and he always finds it welcome; hardly a moment’s peace around camp, and he appreciates the break from chatter. 

His chest aches as his thoughts turn to the first time they sat like this, when she stayed behind on the bridge despite his wishes to the contrary. He’d wanted solitude for his sorrow, but then she grabbed a chair and sat there beside him, nothing between them but the tinkle of glass and slosh of beer and the wind.

She flicks her eyes back up to him once more and the air whooshes out of his lungs as if he’s been hit by a freight train, or jumped into the farm pond on a sunny March day.

The door to the backroom slides open at her approach. Nix’s office is dark, but he doesn’t usually show until afternoon anyway. Once inside the quiet of her office, she drops into the chair with a heavy sigh. She tabs through pages of email but nothing catches her interest. She leans back in her chair, puffing her cheeks as she blows out a long breath. She drags her eyes down from the ceiling, landing on Scorpion’s action figure.

In a flash she’s standing, figure in hand, breath tight in her chest. She wants to crush it, destroy it and the memories of the last few weeks, but she knows she will regret it—not today, today she would feel relief but one day when her feelings have settled she will think back to that day on the bridge and feel sorrow at having destroyed the memento of lost friendship, no matter what passed since. Instead of throwing it in the incinerator she shoves it in a drawer, hidden behind decades worth of paperwork she’s never read.
