So Bandai’s 30 Minute Mission line is going to do the Armored Core model kits which is WILD and also incredibly appropriate bc the 30 MM line is already pretty much Model Kit LEGO. Like there’s around two dozen extra part kits specifically designed for you to make your own customs. With universal joints it’s incredibly easy for even beginners to bust out there own custom mech model.
Here’s a video going over that in more detail
Link for the announcement
What this ALSO means for those interested is they they should also be compatible with the 30 Minute Sisters line which is the same design philosophy but just mecha musume kits. That line ALSO has a ton of kits and extra parts kits to explore.
ALSO!!!!! With the revive line of HG Gundams (I’m thinking especially g witch since they started using C-Clip joints in the legs) they would ALSO be compatible with the 30MM/MS line and now this new Armored Core line as well. So you really could make a kitbash of Armored Core x Gundam model.

I've printed and painted a scale model of the Penrose the other day. 3D printed this model by 1helios1 on Thingiverse from PLA and, and made the base largely from cork and some texture paint. Really fun project!
Kinda wanna do the hole in the ground(tm) next, or the Red Gate. I just lowkey still suck at painting snow lmao

Model Kit Build: "Cup Gunpla RX-78-2" by Bandai and Cup Noodle
It's time to get... noodly?
Yup, it's an actual, officially licensed Cup Noodle container with a tiny Gunpla inside to build!
These were special Gundam 40th anniversary promos.
Oh my god. This is everything! The sprues, the instructions, and the stickers.
It's so goddamn adorable!
Everything is miniature up in here. Please notice how small the eye sticker is. Thankfully, I've got these razor-sharp tweezers in my kit!
Torso shot! It only took about 10 minutes to get this far, and I was taking my time. :P
And here it is in its full, itty-bitty glory, complete with Cup Noodle logo on the shoulder armor. :)
This was definitely a fun little kit to snap together. An entry grade entry grade, if that was a thing. One step above a gacha toy.
I just imagine a cool little kid in Japan getting a surprise with dinner one night and getting to put together a Gunpla before bed.
Or maybe it was some grown-ass otaku like me instead who went out and bought every possible variation and spent a night putting them all together in a row while eating multiple cups of noodles.
Posing it on top of the cup here so I can show the size comparison.
Super neato. :)

THUNDERJAAAW
I've repeatedly wished and prayed that Kotobukiya would start making model kits for Horizon, but Moderoid has filled a machine kit shaped hole in my soul <3
Before this I've only built the Liger Zero kits. This was a bit simpler, with fewer parts, and I finished it in about a day. I used some watercolor to pretend I know what I'm doing and make some details stand out, and I plan on attempting at least some of the decals (which I haven't tried on earlier kits).
He's a bit front-heavy, but it came with a very simple stand to compensate for it.
Panzer for scale.
He's fairly flexible, with lots of joints along the spine/neck, but his knee and ankle joints are fairly limited. But then, a thunderjaw isn't necessarily intended to be particularly agile, so.
His jaws can spread open, though, which is very neat, and the booklet shows which panels to remove if you want to display him 'damaged'.
PLEASE, PLEASE make more machine kits, I will throw all my money at any of them 🙏

I’ve been obsessed this series of model kits called Arcanadea ‘cause I just adore the character designs. So I thought I should draw some fanart. This is Velretta, she’s the second character in the series.
