An April Fool's hoax run in a magazine in 2005 featured this scan, proposing it to be an official scan announcing a port of Hey You! Pikachu! To the DS. This, ultimately, was admitted to have been a fake, but at the time, it generated a bit of hype, particular because of the "new" blue pokemon featured, Korechu!

Korechu isn't real, but is widely speculated to have inspired the Gen 4 pokemon, Shinx, as well as the rest of the line.

What got you interested in the community? did you get involved immediately, or observe from afar for a while?

I don't remember much from being outside of community since I am a member of tumblr mostly for MOGAI and alterhumanity. I was interested when I saw there were more than just daimogender (or how it was called), but I didn't even started interacting with community for months, not even hoarding.

2. how much did the community effect your identity? if you're open about it, compare your identities from before and now. if your identity is private, did you identity solidify or instead get more complicated over time?

It seems it pushed me to be more open about my identity and it changed a lot tbh. It actually made me accept Aspec identity again, made me less uncomfortable with trans label (because every russian trans man I saw was... not great and full of stereotypes and hate towards anyone who is not like them), with gay label too. My identity as a man solidified, I got even closer to my "Feral" identity now called feruvel. It made me realize how important SAM for me, etc etc. Especially feruvel and different attraction types - that was LIFE changing.

4. A theme/aesthetic you love to work with that people wouldn't usually guess??

I am very open about not making things because I know the way I perceive things is so much different from others. But yes, before I changed this theme it wasn't really clear that I would love to do sea related terms. Also as much as I hate monsterfucker community my feruvelic identity wants to work with labels that include me being a center of attraction. I am very much egoistical like that.

7. Your favorite work of someone else's creations?

8. What are you most proud of yourself for, in the context of this community?

Let's just say I am able to talk only about how badly I shown myself for these months being here, I am not in the good narc supply rn. I am very proud of creating terms (feruvel and musisonar) that helped people in the community ig. Being a friend to ones (and enemy to the others /hj) and getting into damn relationships. Also I am very proud of being cedural + feruvelic crushes of people fl;dl;gds /narc

9. Would you like to share a work of yours that you think should get more attention than it already did?

Hivensect, Audistos my beloved. Also fictothic but it makes me very disappointed in myself since it's just another selfshippic term, ugh... Also any term I was really hyped up for but they haven't gotten any traction. I am not really a creator in different ways for mogai lmao. But if it's possible than my damn fic Whiteout............................

Okay also re: last post, I didn’t know MOGAI because I remember only that we couldn’t decide upon a different moniker lmao. Then I never saw any others beyond “alphabet mafia” and “alphabet soup” 😂 You know, beyond the ever-expanding LGBTQIA+ one (which I know there’s an even more inclusive modern one I need to get down in my noggin and use more).

Sorry for using your inbox for a rant, but what baffles me is how neogenders appear now even in professional and scientific spaces (all these 176 lines in "How to address you"), giving people easy way to look uwu woke while not doing shit in reality. Performative activism as it is. Another thing I don't like is whole-ass adult writers jumping hype-train and "representing" non-binary and neopronouns or even "identifying as fae/faethem". To me it looks not only like lazy performative activism, but also like exploiting teenagers, especially those who feel different and/or vulnerable due to different reasons (being lgbt, or gnc, or just different from their families/peers) and thus end up in mogai community, and I find this shitty. Go exploit rich adults ffs.

Performative activism has become so much easier to do thanks to social media. All you have to do is make a "correct" post and don't argue with anyone who says they're part of [x] group. It doesn't actually help anyone and it makes it HARDER to have any sort of discussion. It also allows more people to speak over others and ignores the different experiences that we all have within different groups. On top of encouraging people to come up with 100 plus more ways to seem oppressed so they're opinions will somehow matter more. It's just one giant mess.
