Summary: It's sometime later, still dark or maybe dark again, when the door to his flat opens. He wakes, startles, then whimpers. Every tiny movement feels like the knives are still hacking away at him. Where was their cold efficiency then? No, they'd wanted him to suffer. They'd succeeded.

Comment: This is 100% a h/c fic. However! All the hurt happens prior to the story, so you really just get 34K of comfort, acceptance, and recovery. Aziraphale takes such good care of Crowley in this, and there's some surprising parallels between Crowley and Newt called out I never thought about before but absolutely love. Crowley's emotions are so raw this entire story. I love it.

This fic is not graphic, full of softness, and is explict toward the for those who care.

A somewhat tardy birthday present for the absolutely brilliant momentia. Hunk of Voltron fame as the 11th Tarot card Strength (/Fortitude). I haven't checked out Netflix's reboot yet, but I have very fond memories of watching reruns of the 80's cartoon in the mornings before school. ;-) The tarot connection might seem a little random at first, but I've always liked that Hunk's understated strength, and it is perfectly appropriate for Amber as well. *hearts* Happy Birthday, my dear!

2020 vs 2010

Decided to re-draw a 2010 drawing to compare my drawing progress over the last decade! I think my use of color is improving. I was surprised to see that my style changed a little too. I haven’t drawn (personal art) much at all since 2014 so I didn’t think my style would change that much.

These are my OCs: Scarlet, Skylar, Maru (the squirrel), and the Goddess Momentia (shown in the 2010 drawing). I have been redeveloping their story over the past few months and also working on their designs. I wanted to make Scarlet’s hair more pinkish and then see what colors would work with it. I also re-branded the story from “Dark Horse” to “Project: Leap Year.” It fits with the theme better... I would love to post some of their story this year, as it IS a leap year!
